Name: Kokoran
Nickname: Hex
Gender: Boy
Age: 16
Species: Human
Position: Fighting for good, against Heartless, and Nobodies. Currently looking for ???a world traveler
, for training
Abilities
Basics of Weapons: Kokoran trained using various weapons for a few years, and is capable of using most weapons, at least well enough to fight.
Camo: A spell Kokoran has learned to disguise his wardrobe as that of the world.
It requires a model (a visual image in his mind) and one half post of magic. In it's current level, Camo can only change Kokoran's clothes.
Traveler's Pentacle: Kokoran will take his piece of chalk, draw a compass rose with all eight directions, and then draw a circle around the star, connecting the points. He then will take a small amount of his blood, and put it on the North Direction and say the spell, "Through sacrifice of my own blood, connecting you to your kin, I now teleport from here to yonder, to your other twin!"
Three posts of magic are used up, a bright light will consume him, and he will appear at another Traveler's Pentacle HE CREATED, NO MATTER HOW FAR APART. However, he MUST have been to the target destination before, and both pentacles must be in a haven for Kokoran. Also, the two pentacles MUST BE ON THE SAME WORLD, he cannot travel through space.
Pulse: Kokoran releases pure arcane energy into a small wave that emits from him, causing little damage, but buffets enemies about 3 yards away (Requries good timing).
Fire: Shoots a ball of fire at enemies, dealing damage accordingly. (Can only attack one enemy)
Blizzard: A spray shot of ice shoots out (Short range)
Thunder: Bolts of lightning rain down on enemies, causing thunder damage (Damages lightly)
Cure: Heals one friendly character. Kokoran is capable of healing Deep cuts, cuts, bruises, burns, headaches, and is capable of waking up those who have fainted (Cannot ressurect dead, and those woken up from being passed out will be groggy) (Can not hurt someone)
Condense Magic: Kokoran can take any of his current spells known, begin to cast them, but then condenses the magic into tiny, hand-held balls (looking similar to rasengan, but nowhere near it's power). The only advantage right now to this is that Kokoran can hold the ball infinitely until releasing it (which it then acts like it's normal form of casting).
Kokoran can only use about 7 of of these spells before he runs out of mana. After he's out, he can use no magic at all. He can recharge his mana by consuming magic restoritive items, getting a good nights rest, or by recieving magic from an object or being that WILLINGLY gives.
Weapons: Libra is the name of Kokoran's spell book, only reacting to his touch. It's a brown leather book that has different symbols all over the book, each seeming to have a certain meaning. Also, on the front and back cover, each character has a jewel in a slot right underneath it, and those small crystals seem to have corresponding colors to the symbol's meanings. As well as that, there a five pale, purple looking jewels in slots on the front and back of the cover.
But during certain circumstances, Libra will transform into it's battle form! Aromoring Kokoran, it becomes battle copper gaunlets, which cover up his hand to his elbow; Spiked running shoes, excellent for traction and fighing; And a small chestplate made of leather, which protects his chest only in the front, and protects his entire sternum, all of his ribs, and his middle. All are still inscribed with it's characters and jewels.
The only use Libra has in it's book form (for now) is that it can act as a library of information, storing up info that Kokoran gathers on enemies, locations, spells that require certain ingredients or times, or other important factors, that can later be reviewed by Kokoran. If Kokoran is caught in battle with Libra in book form, Kokoran will cast spells, punch, kick, and defend himself, but carries Libra the meanwhile.. Magic is slightly stronger while using Libra in book form, but physical activities become very limited, and weakened. Also, any who attemtpts to steal Libra in book form are imprisoned in arcane chains until Kokoran physically touches Libra again. This form of Libra is mainly used for research and practicing new spells.
In battle form, Libra slightly promotes Kokoran's physical traits, where armor is found (i.e stronger punches, higher jumps, better defense.) and will increase magic's power, but slightly less than in book form. Kokoran will fight "Street Fighter Style" while Libra is in battle form.
This form is mainly used to battle enemies, or to accomplish feats where Kokoran's normal physical abilities cannot suffice. ???However, Kokoran must hit an extreme adrenaline rush (i.e. large number of enemies, one strong foe, extreme fear), use one post of magic, and hold Libra to his chest to have Libra to enter this state.
The book will stay like this until the adrenaline rush fades, transforming back into a book. All conditions must be met, before Libra enters battle form again.
Kokoran: Please note. I did my best to draw him on Microsoft office paint, and truth be told, I’m not a very good artist.

???UPDATED PIC: Actually drew and like this one better. I knows I screwed up on background, but other than being a bit bright, it's fine (I think.) C:\Users\Bubba\Pictures\001 (2).png
Appearance: Kokoran is about 6 Feet tall; he weighs close to about 140 pounds, and has a slender build. He has sandy blonde hair that has long bangs that at a point begin to cover his eyes. His face is thin, but with a warm glow that seems to emanates from his constant smile, that hints he either really means you no harm, or he has an ace up his sleeve. He has soft brown eyes that just show how calm he normally is. Kokoran’s nose is normal, nothing too special about it.
His choice of clothes includes a black cloak that includes the designs of three connected, purple triangles on each side, as well as a light blue portion on each shoulder. His light weight green t-shirt underneath slightly gives him another layer of protection from attacks, and the cold. His red shorts are where he keeps his held items such as potions and ethers, thus explaining the large pockets shown at the front. The shoes are just normal sized sneakers, but Kokoran has been known to use magic on them to allow himself to walk on certain substances. Kokoran will use the spell, Camo, to change his outfit in all disney worlds, magic permiting, to help blend in.
Personality: Kokoran is just a bowl full of nice. He is very polite, but not quiet. Kokoran is a huge people pleaser, and often tries to put other people’s needs in front of his. He likes to make sure whenever he’s doing a job, he gets it done as fully as possible. He’s always ready to try new things, but he also is a bit protective in the way to make sure no one gets hurt in the process. However, he at times, can be a bit hasty, and runs into things without noticing the true danger of the situation. This only happens though if he sees someone in need, or he to see his goals completed. Kokoran is also very bright and perceptive, able to notice little things that many would miss, and then using them to his advantage. It's not that Kokoran's weak, but he prefers to use magic rather than physically fighting due to the fact he is much more adept at magic
He loves quiet time in studies to read and learn as much as he can about the world he’s in. He’s infatuated with magic, and it’s origins of the different worlds. Another interest of his is music, and even though it's not really magic, he seems to think that music tends to put a spell over people. He has learned a bit how to play the piano. He, however, hates it when people constantly ruin his quiet, or when they accidently damage books Kokoran’s about to read. Other pet peeves include places where magic is forbidden, and when he has to deal with lazziness, liars, and magic resistant enimies.
His favorite foods are rice with steak in it, since it’s really tasty, it’s one of the only other things he remembers as a family recipie, and he also loves soft pretzels bits, since they're portable, reheatable, and are good for dipping in a variety of sauces. He loves cola with cherry in it since it gives his brain a buzz, helping him come up with new ideas. Kokoran loves smoothies as well since they tend to be on the healty side, and that smoothies are made from mainly vegetation, a good source of earth magic. But he is repulsed by all tea, and he absolutely hates strawberries, for their seedy texture.
A bad habbit of Kokoran's is the fact he uses Magic whenever he can to solve mundande problems. Good habits of Kokoran include determination, motivating other's, and being fair to even foes.
A secret about Kokoran is that he is silently afraid of fire. He doesn't freak out when he uses it, it's only when the fire isn't in his control.
Original World: Magiea
Current World: Radiant Garden, and if he finds Merlin, wherever Merlin goes
History: 16 years ago, Kokoran was born in Magiea, a world far out in space where the ability to use magic is very renowned, to the great witch Medea and her husband, Louis, an alchemist. They both had hoped their son would inherit magical abilities,so he would be brought up as a remarkable wizard. They were dissapointed however, for, he seemed to have no natural capability of magic, as most who were born this world. The couple tried and tried awakening magic, but to no avail
???It seemed, however, Kokokran was one step ahead of others mentally, around his age. By the age of 11 1/2 months, Kokoran had begun talking (of course words like "Momma and Dadda" At two years old, Kokoran could comprehend most common nouns, and identify them, such as dog, chair, house, or fire. And by the age of three, Kokoran had begun to read small chapter books (only about 4-5 chapters).
Kokoran's parents would always keep an eye on the tyke, since as well as being brilliant, was always curious to learn new things. Well, one time, his curiosity almost killed him, at the age of 4. Kokoran was off exploring in an old cave, where there he found a small part of the cave where wisps of magic were flying everywhere (this was known as a Mana Haven on that world.). As he was about to go and touch one they scattered; Kokoran turned around to find Heartless, though he didn't know what they were.
But, he knew they weren't friends, so Kokoran was about to run in and attack, since he had his "adventuring" stick, but was parried by the Heartless, and then pinned down. Right as it was about to go for the kill, Kokoran felt something well up inside him, and it was not fear. He screamed and a pulse of energy sent the Heartless flying.
Medea had sensed Kokoran was in the room with magic, and had just caught up to Kokoran. She was able to see him use magic to defend himself, and stunned by her sons actions. Medea quickly dealt the Heartless, when Kokoran whimpered, in tears, "Momma! I'm so sorry *gasp* I was about to go and *cough* play with the wispy things, but *gasp* they attacked, and.. and-" Medea just hugged him, in tears saying "I forgive you Hex (His nickname decided by his parents). You were only curious, andd that;s a good thing. But not only that: You've just proved you are a wizard!" Kokoran had finally had the magic awakened in him, through the experience.
???Kokoran's parents were thrilled, and immediately figured Kokoran would end up what is called, a battle wizard, one whow harnesses magic and manipulates it to do battle. Sure, he would learn other magic, but often a magic user's first spell often foreshadowed what the wizard would become. So, the parents began showing Kokoran beginers battle stratigies in the form of books, since they knew Kokoran was not quite yet of age to learn combat spells. If anything at all, they told him to stay out of any duels or fights until he could defend himself.
.
As it would turn out, however, Kokoran at the age of 11, went back to the cave where he had been attacked by the Heartless, and entered the same Mana Haven as before, and started examining where he had left off. Like last time, the florecent wisps floated around the cavern, but Kokoran finally noticed there as a pattern of characters on the wall. He could read Greek, for that was what the symbols were, and he translated: "Earth, thunder, fire, and ice, you must bring to this wall thrice." Kokokoran read the riddle over and over again until it litterally hit him: a green looking wisp bumped into him, when he figured out he was to guide the wisps to the wall in that order.
He began the chore, and only stopped his feverish work after bringing the final blue wisp to the wall. As it's non-corperal form touched the wall, the cave began to quake, and the four wisps began swirling around each other. A compartment in the wall opened up, revealing a leather bound book: The 12 wisps merged together, creating one huge wisp that was a cacophony of colors, and dove into the book. Stones broke around him, revealing many different colored jewels, that also flew onto the book. And if that wasn't enough, the characters on the wall swirled around in the air, and engulfed the book in characters in symbols. Kokoran was watching at a distance, when he figured out the truth: This was a very powerful spell book, and since HE solved the puzzle, it was now his.
After everything stopped shaking, he grabbed the floating book and exaimened it: At his touch, he whispered, "Amazing". In his hands, he felt empowered thanks to the book, and he could tell there would be thousands of things to figure out about the book. But as fate would have it, Heartless emerged from the shadows. ???Kokoran, surprised and scared, felt adreniline pulse through his entire body. He willed the book to please help him, and held the book close to his chest, as if to defend himself.
Unexpectedly, it melded onto his body, becoming gauntlets, spiked shoes, and a leather chest plate. Amazed at the transformation, didn't hesitate to use these new weapons against the Heartless.
He was relentless, follwing a form of fighting including combos of punches, and often followed up by kicks. Shortly, he was the only one there. Sure he had a couple of bruises and scratches, but he just drank a stamina potion on hand. The armor shortly became a book again, and with some spring in his step, though shaken, Kokoran returned home jovially, to show his parent's his find.
His parents were intrigued by the story, and suggested Kokoran should give it a name, since it could be labeled as his, since all spell books and wizarding objects of the world would often mark themselves with their Master's chosen insignia.
???It was a sealing bond: Libra was bound to Kokoran for life. Shortly after this episode, Kokoran's parents decided that they could begin to teach Kokoran to use combat spells, since it seemed he had enough self control, and he had finished all the books on duel strategies. They began with simple spells, just sparks no one in there right mind would use on the battle field. But this only entertained Kokoran for so long and he began to grow bored with using sparks to practice.
Kokoran's wish for more advanced spells came true. At the age of 12, ???Kokoran had by now gone over all he could with practicing combat with his parents, and asked his parents if he could actually begin to using real combat spells. They, at the time, were extremely busy, and really wanted to help their son, so they suggested that he sign up for a class for comat. Kokoran was enthusiastic about the idea: He could actually go to a place where all you do is learn, and he could meet other young wizards like himself!
Kokoran signed up for the extra curricular class that went over all types of magic to help train young wizards. Pentacles were the first subject to be learned during the first month, and from what Kokoran knew, they were powerful symbols and shapes often drawn around spell casters to enhance abilities, or sometimes even trap the opponent, so Kokoran was eager to learn.
As he stepped in on his first day, he was pleased to discover ???all these famous quotes and tips that had everything to do with combat magic. He was engaged in one poster, that read, "Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen" Kokoran was lost in the words, the message sinking into his mind.
???His instructor called out and Kokoran snapped out of his daydream, and introduced himself to the class. He shared a bit about himself, and the class clapped politely afterwards (mainly out of respect for Kokoran, and fear ot the teacher.) The small group started class immediately afterwords.
It was boring to most of the class, but Kokoran loved hearing every detail on how a Pentacle works. Kokoran saw only one other student in the class paying as much attention as he was: a young witch named Minerva. She constantly pulled back her soft auburn bangs as she frantically wrote down every detail on the pentacle. Minerva also had stunning green eyes, and she had soft face, hinting her gentleness. Kokoran couldn't help but feel a little intrest in the young girl.
The procedure of notes continued for about twenty days when the instructor finally announced, "All right everybody, now that we know even some advanced things on pentacles, I think it's time for a test what you've learned. You all will be drawing your own pentacle, from your choice. To three of you, I will teach you in advance, a combat spell. But to be among those three, you must prove you paid attention during this class, and show that on your pentacle. You all have 10 minutes." With that she snapped her fingers and the entire class room was emptied except for the children.
Everyone frantically began taking out chalk and drawing their pentacles on the floor. ???Kokoran took out his chalk piece, and went to work on his pentacles. He had been practicing at home, and he had finally chosen a pentacle spell he felt comfortable with casting. Drawing a circle, surrounded by a compass rose with the points connecting, he bit down on his thumb to cause it to bleed: As it would turn out, specific DNA was required for certain spells the caster would want to work only for themselves.
???Kokoran strode to the other side of the room, glad he saw another empty space, and repeated the process. After his second Traveler's Pentacle (the name he had selected), he saw Minerva having some issues: she had run out of chalk, and her pentacle shape wasn't complete.
A desperate look was all over her face, so Kokoran strode over to Minerva, and questioned, "Hey Minerva, are you out of chalk? If you are, you can borrow mine." Her eyes gleamed as light hit them and she smiled and replied, quietly "Yeah, I ran out. If you would'nt mind can I?"
???Kokoran nodded, smiled and handed Minerva the chalk. She thanked him and rapidly finished up her pentacle. After the 10 minutes were up, the teacher began examining the pentacles.
She came across Minerva's pentacle, which if you stood in it you would become invisble, which granted her access to the prfivate lessons. She then chose a boy who had created a pentacle that cause him to become fire proof, no matter how hot it was, and he too was put into the private lessons. He was one of the last few people, and the girl before him had made a pentacle that caused her to appear as a dragon, though it was just an illusion. Still, it was very convincing, and Kokoran was anxious. Then the instructor came along to Kokoran's pentacle.
???She raised an eyebrow at Kokoran's creation, since it was a rather unusual design. Kokoran rolled up his sleeves and pointed at the other pentacle at the other side of the room. "Observe." He stated, and then muttered the spell, "Through sacrifice of my own blood, I connect you to your kin, I now teleport from here to yonder, to your other twin!"
???Kokoran was engulfed in light, and the wisp form of himself whisked himself to the other pentacle on the other side of the room, Kokoran panting on the ground. The instructor went over and felt the boy, to make sure it was real and gave a clap of pleasure "Very clever! You've learned how to teleport matter completely! That definitely earns a spot in the combat spell group!"
???Kokoran grinned, though weary
; He had done it. Every one than crowded around the pre-teen asking him how to perform the spell he did, or suggestions. The only one who stood back was Minerva, who had a shy smile on, and drew a small message in the air asking Kokoran to talk to her after school.
After school, Kokoran met with Minerva, who was sitting on a bench nearby. She smiled at Kokoran and meekly said, "That was amazing what you did. I know, you're probably booked on teaching that to others, but.. I'm really interested in how it works. Can you teach me?" Kokoran laughed, Minerva taken aback, he joked, "You think I would teach anyone else my ace up my sleeve? Minerva, you study as hard, if not harder, than me. Who else would be more deserving of learning my original spell?" Her eyes brightened, and replied, "Thank you Kokoran! Can I come over to your house to learn it?" This was the first real conversation she had ever had with anyone in the class, and Kokoran was glad it was with he. He agreed, "Yeah! My parents would love that!" So Kokoran guided Minerva to his home.
This was the spark of their long friendship, and both enjoyed each other's company. Kokoran taught Minerva confidence and bravery, and Minerva slowly taught Kokoran how to control his curiousity with learning. Kokoran, as promised, taught Minerva his Traveler's Pentacle, and she caught on quickly. It was awesome to have someone to teach, and he was thrilled whenever Minerva was in his company.
???Kokoran learned Minerva was a healer and alchemist, but had really wanted to at least learn some spells to defend herself. Kokoran agreed, sharing that he was a combat wizard, and how he was having some trouble with healing spells. Again, the two agreed to help each other learn as they both practiced their skills more and more: Minerva, in the ways of potion making, healing, and anatomy; Kokoran, the ways of weapons, how to freeze your opponent, and so forth.
Both were still taking the same extra curricular class at the age 14, and they both were very advanced for their age. By now, both of them knew how to conjure fire
or ice and use it in combat, and both also knew how to heal. As they were both about to practice a spell to transform their clothes (Camo), screams were heard from outside. The duo ran outside only to find Heartless attacking some students. Kokoran rushed in going straight for the bad guys, waiting for his adrenaline rush
. Minerva felt a little of the old meek self of her come back, but cleared her head, reminding herself she was with Kokoran. They went to work, ???Minerva going to heal the wounded
, Kokoran weaving his way through the heartless.
???Minerva cured a couple scratches on some of the younger students and turned a bit around to see Kokoran and some of the older students attempting to fight: there were quite a few heartless, though most Shadows, some were Red Rhapsodys, Blue Nocturnes, and Yellow Operas. Kokoran held Libra up to his chest, feeling his adreneline pump through him, though sacrificing magic, the armor he knew well appeared on his form. He quickly finished up the small fry's and then was confronted with one last heartless: A Silver Rock.
???By now, Kokoran had only about 3 posts of magic left, and he wanted to finish this, so he pointed at the small heartless and cried: "FIRE!" A ball of fire raced towards the enemy, but it just absorbed it, and charged Kokoran, and blew him away in an Aero spell.
???Kokoran picked himself up, but was surrounded in bushes, since he had been thrown into a wooded area. The Silver Rock used a spell to cause a spark, and the whole area erupted into flame. Kokoran stopped there frozen: he was trapped. He was fighting a stronger spell caster and he was surrounded by fire, and not the kind he controlled. Kokoran shivered, and prepared for death, when the heartless burst and disentegrated. A fellow classmate called to Kokoran, but Kokoran only got the words, "Put it out!"
???Kokokran snapped back into reality, and rushed to Minerva. She, tiring quickly, healed Kokoran of his wounds, and then took Kokoran's orders: To go and use a Traveler's Pentacle to get help. She dashed off, leaving Kokoran and others to fight the blaze. Kokoran commanded well, having everyone help, from using water and ice spells on the fire, to having them run around for help. Kokoran shot one last Blizzard spell at the fire, severely weakining it, and slumped to the ground, exhausted, just as help arrived.
???Kokoran woke up in a hospital bed, happpy to see his parents and Minerva by his bed. He asked, his voice quivering, "Is everyone all right?"
???All three nodded, and Minerva handed Kokoran a smoothie, his parents a pretzel and cheese: He had been out for three days, due to his overuse of magic over such a short time. He learned the little park was a bit charred, but other than that, everyone was fine. Louis grinned, commenting, "That was extremely brave of you Hex. You saved quite a few lives, as well as a few buildings. You've made us so proud."
???Kokoran was about to reply when he saw the strict healer coming by: It was past visiting hours. Kokoran told his companions good-bye and secretly continued practicing Camo under his bed sheets, often resulting in him passing out.
Kokoran continued his training as soon as he was out of the hospital: For months to come, he learned how to use thunder, he had finally gotten the hang of using Camo. Not to mention he was by now quite adept at using most combat weapons, such as a sword, sheild (strangely), staff, and other various weapons.
It was a week after Kokoran's 16th birthday, and he had an ominus feeling about the day. He only felt this way since he had woken up to find it was a stormy day, with black clouds all around. Not only that, but Kokoran noticed Heartless levels were much higher than normal. He decided to go to the Library to clear his head, when he saw the librarian run out, screaming hystarically. When asked what was wrong, she screamed,
"Heartless are chasing me hel-" Was all she got out before her heart was stolen, leaving a shadow in her place.
A tear slid from Kokoran's eye, and he went into an unquenchable rage, destroying any Heartless in his way. He ran to Minerva's house, and found Minerva still in bed, sleeping in. He shook her awake and demanded, "Get your clothes on now! The heartless have finally overrun the town! Please, Em (his nickname for her), hurry!"
She quickly got dressed, and ran off with Kokoran to find his parents. ???He worried in his head, "Oh please let them be all right. It's terrible we lost Atlanta. Who else has joined the Heartless ranks?" He shared his thoughts with Minerva, who wept for the Librarian, but felt assured of her own parent's saftey, as well as Kokoran's.
They were at home, doing what they normally do, when Kokoran and Minerva burst in through the door, both sopping wet, and bruised. Kokoran's parents began asking where they had been, but Kokoran cut in, "Mom! Dad! We need you two! A horde of Heartless have begun
overpowering ???our town! I know you two are our best canadites for help." They both stood silent for a moment, then grabbed a few of their things, just in case it could help.
The little party marched towards the cave where Kokoran had found Libra, ???seeing as that a multitude of Heartless came through the path there.
The quartet reached the room where he had found Libra. An entrance had been blasted open and Heartless were swarming everywhere. They all battled through the hordes of darkness, but they began to be overcomed. "Guys! Lets retreat for now! Go back for-" Kokoran stopped a minute fending off an attack, then continued, "-the entrance! We need reinforcements!"
They all fell back to the entrance and began to run towards the town. But then a shockwave pulsed throught the world, deadly silence following." Louis quivered,
"That doesn't sound good" A vortex opened up above them, all holding on for dear life.
Medea proposed, "Magic is believing in yourself, and if we can believe in ourselves, anything is possible! And I believe that if we hold hands, we won't be seperated, wherever we go!" was She screaming by the end of her suggestion due to the rowdy wind.
Kokoran smiled on the inside, since that was his favorite quote.
They all grabbed hands when the winds picked up, and they were all blown into the vortex. The last thing Kokoran remembered was holding on for dear life, worrying about Minerva and his parents. For the second time in his life, he was completely terrified. ....
Kokoran awoke to find himself in a hospital bed, looking up at a kindly nurse who was attending to his bruises, taking care of him. He questioned, "Were my parents and a young girl found with me?" The nurse asssured him, "Yes, we found you all passed out in the town square. You're all gonna be okay." Kokoran smiled for a moment, but then another questioned boiled up, "Did you find a book nearby me? I remember flying into a vortex, holding onto everyone but not my.... BOOK! You found it?" The nurse nodded, "It was in your lap when we found you four. Poor things; Losing your world to the darkness-"
Kokoran intterupted, "Wait! Mageia is gone?! It dissapeared? If so, then where are we?" By this time, the others started waking up and asked where they were. The nurse queited them down, then answered the question, "You all are in Radiant Gardens, another world. Lucky you wound up here, rather than somewhere else." They were all confused, none of them knowing other worlds existed, and the nurse explained, since she herself had once lived on another world. She soon left the small group, they all discussing the situation
Kokoran was intrigued by the novelty idea of there being other worlds, and he began to ponder about his own. After about 10 minutes of observing their predicament Kokoran asked his parents, "Mom, Dad. Do you guys think it's possible someone may know how to restore our world?" They were not surprised by the question itself, but the subject of the question. Medea answered, "I'm not sure it can Hex. BUT I am sure there must be someone out there who might know if there is a chance at recovering our world."
Kokoran thought for a moment, then asked Minerva, "Minerva, would you mind helping out my family while I'm gone?" Minerva, taken aback as well, questioned, "Why would you be gone Kokoran?" Kokoran straightened himself out of his bed, and told the other three, "I love you all very much, and I want the best for us. If believing is magic, and with magic all things are possible, then that means I might find a way to restore our old home."
Kokoran's parents immediately tried to reason with him but he logically explained,
" There has to be someone out there that could assist our cause
. And after what happened to Mageia, I don't think anyone else should have to bear such a burden." He smiled, "Besides! I've been dying to find out more about the universe: What better way then to explore different worlds." Minerva interjected, "Then I'm coming too!"
Kokoran gazed at her, eyes full of knowledge, still smiling, "Minerva, it's not that I don't want you to come, but I don't want any of you getting hurt. We were lucky to survive our world ending, and I couldn't bear it if I lost one of you." He walked over to each of them, giving them hugs, "I'll miss you all so much, and I'll promise to take care of myself if you guys take care of each other." They all nodded, but before they left, they all had tokens to give him;
His parents each took out 5 pale, cut gems apiece, they explained, "We meant to give these to you since jewels increase magic's strength. We want you to have them." They held out their hands and Kokoran accepted the gems, "Thanks guys." Eyes almost a little watery, and was surprised to see Minerva handing him something, "
It's my chalk piece; I've enchanted it so it constantly grew so I would never have to replace it. It's just as much yours as is mine." Kokoran hugged her once more, and picked up Libra, heading out the door.
He waved back, smiling "Bye guys! See ya later! ???I promise to find a way to get our home back! And bash a couple of those Heartless too!"
With that he dashed out of the hospital and into the main square. He Looked at Libra, opening it up and whispered, "Come on old friend; ???We have a world traveler to find
." He strode off, Libra in arm, and began searching for his answers....
Role Playing Sample:
Kokoran strolled casually down the streets of Radiant Gardens, wondering "Where to start?" He gathered in his head ???all he knew about the worlds was that there were many, and if anything, should ask around for someone who traveled through these worlds often.
Kokoran kept walking around till he walked into the Market Place. It was bustling with activity, and Kokoran knew here would be a good place to start asking around about world travelers.
He went to all the shopkeepers, asking about the such a person. ???They all shook there heads saying things like, "Only a couple people kid." Or, "I know this one guy, but I haven't seen him in awhile..." This continued on until Kokoran finally came to a conclusion; these people were simply not in the world
. Kokoran shrugged it off. He could be very patient, and he would just wait until the right person came back. Then his face lit up: He had just gotten to Radiant Garden and had no background information on it.
He rushed over to the Library and started checking out books like mad. After he had all the books the Library had on Radiant Gardens, Kokokran opened up Libra, as well as the other books. he made sure he was alone in his own corner, then placed his hand on the pages of the books, then guiding it over to Libra. Characters and letters flew over into Libra, the books still having all it's words and pictures, but Libra had just added another 30 pages of information on Radiant Gardens. Kokoran dove right into the reading.
He was intrigued by it's history, "Ansem then began bringing in test subjects to see what would happen if they were without a heart. After natural heartless stole the subjects hearts, they too became heartless." Though some portions were summarized, it still covered most portions of the world. "None of this information would have been found out, if not for the adventurer So-" Kokoran heard chewing. Someone was chewing on potato chips in the Library, most likely getting crumbs on the books.
Kokoran closed Libra, cracked his knuckles and went to the source of the sound: A large, and more athletic teen was eating while reading a book on botany. Kokoran hated this, and had a leer on his face "I was going to read that book after him," He thought.
Kokoran coughed, then asked politely, "Excuse me, could you please stop eating in the Library? Others are re-" The jock shooed him away like a bug, then Kokoran continued, "Please, stop. I don't want to have to do this the hard way." The guy laughed hard, getting him shushed, then told Kokoran, "Get lost squirt. I'll do what I want." Kokoran fumed, "Outside. Now." He had'nt shouted, but he said it with venom, and the guy smiled, a chipped bottom tooth showing, "This will be fun."
They both exited outside behind the Library, the Jock smack talking, "No one like you's ever challenged Derek, the Beserker. I'll snap you in half." With that, Derek drew out a wooden club, his weapon of choice. Kokoran drew Libra to his chest, ???seeing as that anger was fueling his adreinelen, and with his backed turned as not to show he used magic
, and turned a 180 to show his aromor, "Don't you dare underestimate me." Derek laughed, then advanced.
Kokoran analyzed the situation, "Hmm, about 7 ft and pure muscle. Not stupid though, but he seems to be the kind who can't manevour well." Kokoran slowly advanced, circling Derek. It was dead silent, then Kokoran struck with a blow to the gut at Derek, the giant blocking with his bat, then swining with his bare fist at Kokoran's open face.
Kokoran jumped a little, causing Derek to punch Kokoran's breast plate, knocking the wind out of Kokoran, and also bruising him, but also causing Derek's fist to bleed. Derek shook his hand like mad, trying to shake off the pain, Kokoran proud of his decision. But then Derek licked up the blood on his fist, and almost shark like, his eyes went savage. "THIS IS WHY THEY CALL ME THE BESERKER! ARRRRRGH!!"
Derek was rushing in quite quickly, but Kokoran just hopped out of the way, like a Matador at a bull fight. Derek accidently knocked into a stall, his strength knocking over the stand. Kokoran swore he saw steam come from Derek's nose, and the bully charged again. A shadow tackled him before he fully made his way back to Kokoran. The young wizard rushed over to see the assaulter and he gasped at the sight: a Neo Shadow was going in for the kill.
Without a moment of hesitation, Kokoran whipped his hand out and screamed, "FIRE!" A ball of the substance struck the enemy in the chest, where it flopped to the ground. Kokoran helped Derek up when they where suddenly surrounded by Shadows. Kokoran grimaced, glad to hear Derek say, "Heartless" His voice not even quivering. Kokoran asked, "How good are you with that bat?" Derek grinned, devilishly, "I practice on Heartless every day." Kokoran smile, glad to have this guy for backup.
The heatless attacked, both the boys dodging, and parrying the blows. The platoon of Shadows were quickly defeated, but then another Neo Shadow snuck up on Kokoran and scratched him. "URK!" Kokoran gruted from the pain, Derek asking, "You okay dude?" Kokoran smiled grimly, "Yea. CURE! I am" Now refreshed, Kokoran doulbed his efforts.
The Neo Shadows cornered the boys when an idea struck Kokoran. "Derek! Throw me up in the air." Kokoran ordred. Without a question, Derek warned, "I bench quite a bit kid. Prepare to fly." With that Kokoran flew into the air, with the help of Derek's strenght, and him jumping. Kokoran focused for a second then a new inspiration hit him.
"FIRE! FIRE!" Kokoran yelled, while two tounges of flame danced on his hands.
Kokoran hurled the projectiles at the Heartless, still manipulating them. "Derek watch out!" Kokoran warned. The two fire balls merged into one, and just as Derek jumped out of the way of the two pure blood heartless's attacks, the flames struck the ground. It flared up on the ground, incinerating the shadows.
Kokoran was a feeling a bit out of it: that new technique had surprisingly taken alot out of him. Derek smiled appriciately, "That's awesome! You can use magic!"
Kokoran nodded, "Sorry for the hoidy toidey attitude back at the Library. It's a pet peeve of mine." The big guy forgave Kokoran and asked, "What's your name, magic man?" Kokoran though for a bit and explained, "Kokoran, but if you want, call me Hex."
Derek nodded, "Hex it is. Oh, by the way, thanks for saving my butt. You need any help? Anyone you need me to get back at?" Kokoran shook his head no,
"Unless you know where someone who travels worlds often is located, I'm afraid not now."
Derek's face lit up,
"Wait a minute! World Travelers?! I know where a couple are around the town! Follow me!" And the jock took off running. Kokoran, grinning yelled back, "This is awesome! Thanks Derek!" What do you know, another friend, and now I'm
one step closer to getting Maegia he thought. Kokoran sprinted after his new aquantince, anticipating his meetings.
