In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Twilight Town; another world impeccably balanced on the sharp edge between Light and Dark. It was also his birthplace, and in more ways than one. The mere notion brought a wolfish grin to his lips as his golden eyes scanned his surroundings- not that having a witness would concern the Superior, but alas, old habits were difficult to shed. Xemnas stood before the gate to the Old Mansion, and he childishly refused to acknowledge its presence while gently tugging on his leather gloves. Perfect fit as always.
"What breaks but never falls?" He asked, his deep voice louder than usual in the silent clearing. "What falls but never breaks?" Swap one word for another and suddenly the entire meaning of the question changes. "Myself."
The short and simple answer left no imprint of existence, he noticed as he turned his golden eyes to the gate, and the taste of such a lie was bitter, even if imagined. A curtain fluttered in the wind- the wind? No matter, his previous train of thought was far more important. Or interesting, at least.
"Day breaks and night falls." The Nobody explained to the gate, while fully aware it lacked the capacity to understand or even comprehend his words. "But Nothing remains the same."
He wasn't here on a mission because that's what he sent everyone else off to do. Today, or for the moment, Xemnas cherished the lack of the Heartless filth that haunted The World That Never Was. His actual excuse was that the Organization wouldn't lose anything by occasionally checking up on the Old Mansion to see if any new Nobodies had been created.
{Guess what? I know this sucks, but he wanted a post. He also wouldn't let me mention that his hood is down, so he looks like a total ancient, grey-haired creeper standing in front of an abandoned mansion. I promise he'll get better.}

Hero's piercing scream glutted the air as he fell tumbling out of a nearby bush. Leaves and twigs stuck to his hair and clothing as he scrambled to his feet. His face was smudged with dirt, but there was nothing to too destabilizing about his composure. Unaware that somebody else was already in his presence, Hero's body stiffened and tensed as the bush he fell out of rustled once more. Suddenly, a shadow's head popped out of the bush. Actually, it seemed like the shadow's head was the bush, judging from it's size. Hero didn't take a liking to regular shadows, but Mega, Giga, or Neo shadows were just..
Hero made a feeble attempt to whack it with his crowbar.
It's eye's narrowed.
"DON'T COME NEAR MEEE!" Hero yelped. His usual calm and composed nature had it's weaknesses - one of them were large creatures, especially heartless. Finally, it had him cornered. Hero clenched his eyes and held out both palms wildly in front of him. It looked as if he had the intention of pushing him off, but the palms stopped two or three centimenters away from it's face. Then, suddenly, a large wind scratched the air, and a booming, loud noise rang. The heartless was blown meters away, and landed in an uncomfortable heap somewhere near the edge of the clearing, where it dissolved into a mess of black essence.
Hero stowed away his crowbar and caught his breath while making an attempt to stand on his feet. He rose unsteadily, swaying to one side a bit before being able to look ahead composedly. His cat-eared headphones had fell on his shoulder's during the chase, revealing a mess of shockingly blue hair.
He noticed a hooded man standing by the gate, whom seemed indifferent to the commotion he had caused. Hurriedly, Hero bowed courteously.
"Apologies if I was interrupting anything, sir."
(( LOL SUCH A NEWFAG ))

This was unbelievable. Truly ... unbelievable. Leiz wiped a drop of sweat from his brow, pacing carefully amongst the clusters of trees and foliage in the outskirts of Twilight Town. Normally he wouldn't be out here. It wasn't a fear thing, no, no - he was well past fear. The green-haired soldier was fearless in every sense of the word. He was not afraid to get his hands or feet dirty in the least. He was not afraid to go spelunking where light could not reach.
Unlike here. A modicum of light filtered in through the forest canopy. He walked bravely, stoically, triumphantly, his right hand hovering gently over his sidearm, the "bruiser". With this and his own repertoire of skills, he was formidable. Dangerous, even.
He cautiously paced forward to the old manor where untold secrets lied. His boots crunched softly upon the moss floor. A peaceful ambiance of sound, maybe, if not for the feminine boy's precise knowledge that this was plant sperm he was walking on. Disgusting. Straightening his windbreaker, Leiz Ryada stopped several meters before the forest exit, peering his eyes through the organic canyon of conifers and angiosperms and beyond to where the manor's gates stood. "Intriguing."
But he was not beside himself. A black-cloaked man with white hair stood before the golden-picketed gates, soon joined by a blue-haired adolescent making quite the commotion. "Apologies if I was interrupting anything, sir."
"What a mess," the androgynous boy thought, leering his eyes. "They want me to take a look inside. Covertly. Not gonna be easy with wingus and dingus here running around."

The young wolf boy sighed, he had been walking around the forest to get away from the people who were frighted by him. Was it his fault, no... well then again he had fell out of the sky a while ago, he was saved by a nice lady and meet a decent mercenary, though he did interigate a wierd smelling woman. Oh well, can't have a normal life when your a werewolf.
Sol had decided to head into the forest and see if he couldn't make a small home for himself here. "Kay so I need a shelter, a way of bathing, some food, and maybe a comfy bed." he said to himself listing they things he might need. He walked until in the distance he could make out a large house, or to be more specific a mansion. "Oh yeah, I forgot that was there, it may be old but it beats living out here" he said to himself as his tail wagged at the idea of him finding a new home.
As he walked to the mansion his ears stood up as he heard a scream in the distance. Sol had a curious look on his face, "What the hell?" He began jogging to whoever made the scream, when the smell of three humans hit his nose, well two were human, the other seemed... different. He stopped in his place, the last thing he wanted was for more people to think he was a monster that might've made whoever screamed scream. He climbed up a tree and started jumping from tree to tree trying to stay out of sight.
When he got to the source of the scream he found himself in from of the mansion. He noticed in front of the gates was a white haired man with a blue haired boy, that was two of the scents, but where was the third scent? He looked around until he looked beneath him and saw a green haired male who looked like he was spying on the two in front of the mansion. Sol wondered why these the were here, then a crack was heard beneath him. He looked down to see the branch he was standing on was beginning to break. "Uh oh," the branch broke in a second, "WAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" He landed right behind the green haired male on his back and with a thud, "Ow..."
Silence was something Xemnas enjoyed, mainly because it was so difficult to come across back in his world. Too many Heartless and too much bickering, therefore whenever he had the luxury of silence he often cherished it.
Until it was broken.
The loud cry sliced through the quiet clearing like one of his Ethereal Blades, and Xemnas instinctively spun in the general direction of the source. He wasn't sure which he wanted to rid the worlds of first: the thing that screamed, or the event by which it was provoked. Unable to detect any immediate threats to his personal safety, the Superior watched with little interest as the Somebody managed to fend off the Heartless. If anything, he was more unnerved by the sight of the Heartless so close to the Old Mansion; the feeling of possessiveness he knew nature intended him to have curled the corners of his lips into a snarl. Always getting in the way, the damned things. He sensed two others in his near surroundings, near because he couldn't see them for whatever reasons. Immediately he realized they weren't Heartless, otherwise they would have attacked by now. Blasted shadows were revered for following instincts more than logic, of course. Which left him to wonder what they were doing.
Then the Somebody pushed itself to its feet before dropping down into a hurried bow. It also apologized. Xemnas arched one eyebrow in a silent question of the Somebody's motive. He blinked in response to the apology, not quite understanding what he was expected to do with it, nor caring. Was this Somebody with the shock of blue hair in league with the others he sensed? Distantly, he wondered if it was apologizing for being seen, since its suspected companions managed to keep to the shadows.
"Hm. It is dangerous, venturing this far from town." Xemnas commented, not really a threat outside the fine print. He stood straight, mindful of those lurking in the woods. Let the Somebody interpret his words as it wished, he told himself, making no attempt to further question the Somebody or clarify his response. All for the better, he realized, as less than a moment later there was a second crash sent echoing through the clearing, as well as another scream. Hearing the sound once more brought the snarl to his lips again, and he flexed his fingers as they itched to call on his Ethereal Blades. Golden eyes narrowed in the sound's general direction- just like before- and he was seconds away from sending a pair of Dusks to settle the matter.
But why bother with Dusks when Somebodies seem to be more than capable of injuring themselves on their own?

"Er- um, yes, quite correct." Hero said in what he hoped was a courteous tone.
Already, he had heard another person scream, and the sound of twigs and leaves crunching in a nearby area. Since his missions were already done for the day, Hero considered just leaving, but he wanted to compensate for disturbing the man. Even now, though, Hero felt like he was being a disturbance. Torn apart by the desire to see who he had stumbled upon, and leaving, Hero decided to kind of stay rooted to the spot, swaying slightly towards the exit and towards the mansion.
Unforeseen consequences seemed to bend towards the adolescent. One loud crash occurred a minute or two ago, an incident he took only the ears to. It didn't concern him that much: if something threatening was present, it would only make itself present when it desired to. That was simply enough for him.
But something collided with the ground behind him for a second crash in roughly the same manner. Only this time, vibrations were also felt throughout his leather boots. His peripherals picked up on droves of leaves and wood chips scattering towards the mossy plane and he immediately deduced what had happened; some imbecile had fallen from the trees above. Regardless of what his instincts told him, his feet were up in the air one moment and effortlessly displaced near a trunk of bark the next.
Now he had been facing the culprit: a wolfish boy laying on his back a foot or two from where he once stood... mere feet away from what would have caused him a serious injury. Narrowing his violet gaze, Leiz remained silent and assessed where he stood in relation to the black cloaked man and incapable-looking teenager.
"Practically out of sight. Good," he mentally quipped, leaning up against the tree. Leiz held his hand ever closer to the bruiser, each finger momentarily making contact with the handle of the firearm. He felt at unease. Such was prevalent and obvious in his lips, which he so unknowingly pursed. Habitually, he pressed his upper row of teeth against the collagen of his lower lip.
Blinking and shaking his head, Leiz reminded himself that his chagrin was unwanted and that all of these distractions shouldn't really detract from the mission's priority. He was a soldier. All that mattered was the mission. Intensifying his focus, Leiz shrugged everything off as if it was nothing and stood where he did in a brooding, patient fashion. "Those two are bound to leave sooner or later. Same goes for this... mutt. When they've vacated the area... I'll make my advance."
[[While I'm still certainly trying to accept the fact that Hero randomly crashed into a bar in the other thread, I wish for there to be no animosity to be between us as a result of your spontaneity. You are forgiven for both accounts of brevity and explosiveness. xD]]

The fall was bad but it didn't hurt Sol... much, he was able to roll onto his hands and knees at least. "Note to self, never jump from tree to tree like some kind of ninja." He noticed the person in front of him, the same one he had seen from above, though he couldn't quite tell if it was a girl or a boy, at least the person had somewhat of a male scent to them.
"Sorry for falling in like that." his nose caught the scents of the other two that were supposedly here. He then noticed two other figures ahead of him and... the other boy. They looked like they were talking but about what? He wondered if the other kid knew anything, Hey buddy, do you know what those two are doing?" he asked the green haired boy with a curious tone.
Why all of this would happen the moment he stepped foot on this world, why this chaos would find him of all Nobodies, only Kingdom Hearts knew. He didn't understand, nor did he care to. He only wanted to check the area for anything suspicious- aside from himself, of course, because even he knew that men in black coats always looked slightly out of place- and was unfortunately ending up with far more than he desired. Or expected.
"What am I doing here?" he asked, as if clarifying. Distantly, he noted that once his world was created, no being that stumbled over its own words such as the one before him would be present. He preferred clear, clean conversations. "I am waiting." For what, he refused to share. The Somebody had no right to be part of his plans.
"Or," he started, expression neutral because he quite honestly didn't feel like pretending at the moment. Keeping his golden eyes on the Somebody before him, he summoned three Dusks; one appeared behind the boy, while the two others were sent into the woods to investigate. "Maybe I'm here to show you how much danger you are truly in."
{Seriously, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to be gone so long, yo. But I'll ask you to do one last thing for me: please ignore the dryness of this post. D: }

Hero's eyes widened, and he almost fell over before an emotion caught his balance. An emotion that didn't belong to him, a gut feeling that wasn't his own. Bubbling hatred arose in Hero - why, he didn't know. Looking at the white creature made him angry - it was like instinct. Just as a bird's reflex is to fly away when danger comes, Hero couldn't remember feeling this much hatred towards something, someone. This creature.. no. Somehow, by some means, he knew what it was.
"..Nobody.."
Every inch of Hero told himself to take the crowbar he had and lunge at the wish-washy-like creature with all of his might, but he bottled it in. Suddenly, Hero saw his vision flicker, all the color being replaced by red. Not this again..
His eyes were a bright red, but somehow, Hero managed to retain consiousness. He turned towards the man in black.
"Who are you?!" he demanded forcefully, in a harsh and cutting tone rather unlike his. Blood started trickling down Hero's hands. He was gripping the crowbar too tightly.
Leiz shot the boy an incredibly derisive glare, hissing through his teeth in an attempt to get the stranger to remain quiet. "Keep your mouth shut and stay the hell d--"
Suddenly interrupted by the all-too-familiar wails of incoming dusks, Leiz's eyes immediately averted from the wolf boy to the forest's exit. Two flailing, white shapes flew in indeterminately, not yet spotting the two, but getting dangerously close to noticing them. Leiz's facial features hardened as he lost his calmed sense of demeanor, becoming anxious. The warrior within anticipated the battle that was sure to follow, but the accompanying schemer, the one that thought, didn't want a battle at all.
"I am sick and tired of these fuckin' distractions," Leiz uttered in a hoarse, irritated tone, deciding that it was too late now to take a covert approach. Retrieving his magnum-like sidearm from a holster hanging tightly at his backside, Leiz brought it to a steady hold with both hands. He aimed the weapon at both of the dusks flying aimlessly amongst the trees of the entrance of the woods, firing off two well-placed energy volleys at each.

Sol's ears drooped as the guy's...girl's...ugh, it was too confusing for him, he'd have an easier time telling the difference if he could get the stranger's scent. Though with a few new scents entering the area Sol figured it will have to wait. He managed to see the source of the new scents, a pair of strange white monsters. "First Heartless and now these things, geez, wonder if there's an in between monster."
Sol readied his senses and watched the two white monsters come closer to him and the...stranger. He quickly took in the stranger's scent and from the smell he was pretty sure it was a dude. Anyway, time to deal with the problem at hand. He watched the male prepare a gun and fired at the two creatures. Well, better get started.
Sol's hands became shrouded in darkness that extended outward from his hands and formed his two swords, he quickly positioned himself and threw his blades spinning at the creatures. As the swords spun through the air a dark aura surrounded them and soon made them into spinning saws more than swords, Sol watched from a distance as his weapons aimed for their target, all he did at the moment was make a pair of fists, in case he needed to get closer for some hand-to-hand.
[[Alright, time to take matters into my own hands! (Not that it matters, since we all kind of agree on the direction that the thread ends up taking.)
Basically, this thread has gone on too long - at least for me and Dirbs - and we really don't want to feel obligated to post in a thread that's been dragging on for so long. So we're going to summarize the ending to this confounding event.
Xemnas pushes the attack with his dusks, but becomes disinterested and leaves. ... he dies of a heart attack in 2036 after cinammon heart candies clog his arteries.
Hero turns into a muppet and runs away. ... he later goes on to replace Waldorf several years later, but nobody cares.
Same goes for Sol: he runs after fighting a bit of dusks. ... the producers of the Twilight films later try to hire him to play Jacob for a reboot, but after slashing out their throats, Sol has effectively doomed his unwanted acting career.
Leiz wants to linger around, but XMR calls him away. ... he later goes on to form a glam rock band, but dies a few years later when a stage light falls from above and crushes his head. In one Radiant Garden news reporter's words, "nothing of value was lost".
Have a nice day, everyone. Thanks for the thread.]]
