In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Nickname: Aki, Bug, due to his bug like eyes.
Age: 13, however he is extremely short for his age,and appears about 11.

Powers: Chill:Blasts an icy wind at the opponent Icicle:Launches a sharp,icy spire up from the ground beneath the opponent.
Weapon: He wields a great sword,named "Glacial peak" that is double the size of him, however, he wields it with ease. It has engravings on it that read "The perishing winds of the unknown shall become one with the soul". Aki wields it with medium speed swings and swipes, usually aiming to smash the opponent's weapon out of their hands, or to temporarily stun them for 2-5 seconds. The only downside of Glacial Peak is that due to its size, it produces a lot of recoil, and makes the user lose strength quickly, especially because Aki is small for his age.

Appearance: Aki has a childish, innocent face with large, bug proportion eyes. His hair is purple shoulder length hair that is styled into slicked back spikes. He wears a hooded, black and white checkerboard waistcoat over a bare stomach that has two black belts strapped across it, and a shark tooth neckalce slung over his neck. He wears khaki shorts that have two useless straps hanging from the waist. The shorts also have two zipper pockets on each leg that hold peppermints, one of Aki's favourite snacks. One of his most recognisable features, though, is his Glacial Peak great sword slung diagonally across his back in a leather sheath that is decorated with a snowflake pattern. He has bare feet, and wears a bandage at ankle height on his right leg. His other most recognisable feature, is that half his face is scarred, grey and burnt.
Personality: Aki is extremely hyperactive, and acts childish and sweet most of the time. He is generally kind towards people, unless they make him angry or upset, in which he flaps his arms about and stamps his feet. He has a deep hatred for people who betray their friends. He can also be childish to the point where he cries if he gets extremely upset. He loves to eat large amounts, and is constantly hungry, even eating leaves if there isn't anything else. He enjoys playing pranks and booby trapping unsuspecting people.Unfortunately, his weaknesses include being easily tricked, being timid, and breaking down nervously when he is afraid, to the point that he curls into a ball and starts quivering. He is surprisingly strong for his age, as he can wield an enormous great- sword with one hand, and is also very fast, even being able to run along walls and wall kick between trees at great speed. He is terrified of fire, due to a scarring experience when he was 9, and when he sees it, he will act on his insticts and launch ice towards it.

History: Aki looked all around himself in panic. The fire was coming, closer, closer. The smoke filled his throat and nose and choked him. Smoke filled his eyes and burned him. A blazing pile of rubble collapsed from the ceiling, landing inches away from Aki. He had to find a way out. But he didn't want to. He just couldn't run through fire Aki spluttered . The smoke whirled around him and then evaporated into nothing. The incandescent rage of the fire began to surround him, encircling him, like a viper about to suffocate it's prey. Aki screamed. The shrill sound of his voice bled away into the crackling of the flames. he dropped to the floor and curled up, snivelling. This was it. This was the end of him. he would never see anyone again. No light. No sea. No beach. He would become a shrivelled, charred, corpse amongst the wreckage of the burned mine. Aki faded away from the light. The fire became a distant glow amongst the darkness. He was slipping away...Slipping away...Away...
Aki woke. There was a pale stinging in the back of his throat. His face burned and throbbed. Aki's vision was still blurry.He shook his head and rubbed his eyes.He was in the mine. The mine that seemingly seconds ago had been burning with flames seconds ago, was now encased in ice. Aki stopped for a moment to recall what had happened. His friend had been playing with him in the mine, then that flaming torch had fallen over. His friend had run out, but Aki had been left there. Then he passed out and then...? How had all the ice appeared? Did someone else cause it? Or had he? Aki sat, puzzled. Upon checking his reflection in the ice, Aki almost jumped back at the site of himself. Half his face was black! Charred! Aki pulled himself away from the grotesque image. "Dan?" Dan was Aki's best friend,and they had been like brothers for as long as they could remember. That was definetely subject to change. Aki stumbled towards the exit. Awkwardly, Aki ran towards the beach. It was empty. Except for Dan. Aki looked at his smug face through red mist. "Bastard" Aki stared at Dan solemnly. "You left me to die in the fire and smoke." Dan smirked at Aki. "So ya did survive,huh?" Aki unsheathed Glacial Peak. Dan unsheathed a pair of Tantos. "You betrayed me. I know clearly now. You knocked that torch off. You were jealous. You tried to kill me!" Aki charged at Dan,swinging his blade. Aki roared, soaring into the air, then bringing it down on Dan's head,who quickly jumped back. Aki pivoted round on one leg and struck Dan on the nose with the hilt of Glacial Peak, who then punched Aki in the stomach, sending him sprawling to the floor. Dan repeatedly kicked at Aki's head.Dan began his umpteenth kick, his foot coming closer towards Aki's head. Aki braced himself. The sharp pain never came.Aki lifted his head. Dan was staring at his leg, which was now completely encased in ice. "What have you-what have you done to me?" Aki leapt up, and delivered a final strike that left Dan, bloodied and cut, lying in the sand. Aki turned away.
Role Playing Sample: Aki ran towards the sea. The waves splashed past Aki's ankles,then doubled back on itself and sloshed into the foaming brine. Aki stood for a moment, enoying the feel of the water between his toes, then pulled off his waistcoat, clambered onto a pier, and dived into the sea. For a second, Aki was submerged in water. He gazed in wonder at the exotic fish and coral. Swiftly, he kicked his legs, and came shooting up to the surface. The crystal water was like liquid diamond as it warmly rushed against Aki's skin, splashing and spitting. Aki looked out into the distance. Seagulls were circling around a certain bit of water. Aki decided to investigate, as he swam out towards it. Realizing what it was, Aki began to swim away desperately. However, it was too late. Aki was pulled towards the whirlpool, kicking his legs and shouting out; but he was too far away from land to be heard. The water swirled and bubbled around him, pulling him towards the inky blackness below. Aki was dragged underwater, splashing and screaming helplessly, before he shot upwards. Aki gasped for air as he was pulled down again, and the process repeated. Aki grabbed onto a floating piece of driftwood, but lost his grip. Aki was pulled under, a piece of rock smashing him in the face. The world began to spin, as flashes of strange images occurred in his mind.
Aki awoke. He was definetely underwater, for sure. But how was he breathing? Aki dismissed this thought. It was a dream. It had to be! It couldn't be real! How could it be real? But... it was real. Everything was real! He was breathing underwater! And he didn't need to swim! He could walk! It was like he was in a giant air bubble. He was. Aki saw something approaching from the surface. The water around him began to bubble. The ground was rumbling. The bubble was fading! Aki began floating to the surface. He broke through the water and gasped for air. He turned to see a gargantuan tidal wave heading for him! Aki began to swim frantically towards the shore. The tsunami was five metres away from him. he couldn't make it! The tsunami would break Aki's neck and smash his ribs. Taking a last minute gamble, Aki held his breath and dived underwater, swimming towards the bottom. Aki felt a tremendous force send him ricocheting towards the direction of the shore. Aki's face smashed against the rocks as blood erupted from his nose.The tidal wave died down and crashed back on itself before it hit the island.The water around Aki turned red as he stepped out. Clutching his nose, he stumbled to the pier and sat on the end, cradling it. Blood carried on pumping out of his nose. Aki wiped it with his hand then looked off into the sunset, falling off to sleep. The sun skipped across the silver ocean and lit up Destiny Islands. Aki was already awake, fishing rod in hand. It wasn't really a fishing rod, just a piece of thick wood with some string and a hook. Aki waited. Nothing bit. Aki grabbed a sharp stick, ran to the pier, and dived in. He spied a fish. With precision and speed, Aki shot the spear at the fish, landing a perfect kill.He pulled it back to land, lit a fire, and began to eat.
