Powers: Cloaking Field: The people of Tyreal are born with an inept ability to cloak themselves from any onlookers. Water and Intense heat mess up the cloaking field, but if used correctly, Raiel can remain out of sight for long periods of time. Any attacks initiated on her disable the cloaking field, and she must reactivate it in order for it to be of use.
Hover Boots: In an effort to make it easier to walk across grass and dirt without being seen, Raiel invented hover boots that allow her to glide across any surface. It doesn’t allow her to fly, but she can use it to walk over water, provided her boots aren’t splashed. If they are, they can shortcircuit and electrocute Raiel. She also has limited traction, so she cannot run without possibly sliding past her mark and even falling over. It can be used as long as wanted, and can offer a quick getaway across a large body of water.
Masking Sound: Using a small mask made of pure energy, she can cover her mouth and nose to mask all sounds from talking and/or normal breathing. The air from normal breathing is filtered through the energy field. But there is not enough air trapped that can be taken in from continuously deep inhales and exhales, nor is there enough for breathing fast from activities such as running. As such, Raiel can easily choke if taking deep breaths or breathing fast. This power can be used as long as wanted.
High Jump: Raiel, having the need to move quickly and often using jumps to get away or into a scene using the shortest possible distance, has developed her high jump skill to its max capacity. This allows her to jump higher and farther distances.
Magical threads: Using her magic skill passed down from the Tyrealeans, Raiel has attached magical threads to her hidden blades so she can throw them and easily retrieve them. Energy is a difficult thing to break through and must be disrupted through a large amount of force or a more powerful energy spell.
Technical Tool: Raiel, always loving to work with her hands, created a tool that she could use to hack computers, disable security systems, modify cameras, and keep track of her missions, plus several other things that help her in her assassinations. It is completely holographic and appears around her entire wrist
Strengths: Having trained as an assassin, Raiel has increased her agility far beyond that of a normal human. As such, she can run faster and for longer periods of time, maneuver around objects easier, and is quick on her feet. She is also able to strategize easily, having to expect every possibly outcome as it arrives and able to come up with something on the spot to easily remove her target.
Weaknesses: Raiel is not as trained in social works as she primarily keeps to herself. She also has an indifference to pain in that she feels the pressure from a stab or the heat from a burn, but she does not flinch or move from it, not able to truly feel the pain that comes with it. While it helps keep her going easier, she can easily overlook a broken bone or a large gash because of it.
Weapon: Saijira and Jaisira:[/url] Two identical daggers that lay attached to her forearms that are named after twin cats of hers back on Tyreal. These hidden blades stay concealed beneath her large sleeves. They can be thrown and retrieved with ease due to the Magical Threads, and can simply be grabbed and taken in her hand. She can even push her hand forward and thrust the blade forward to strike with it that way.
Saito: This larger dagger is named after her brother who is extremely ill because of a strange illness that caused his cloaking field to come within his body. This dagger hangs from Raiel’s side and is used if something happens to the magical threads and her hidden blades fall. She also uses it for her most important kills and never wipes the blood of of it. Instead, the blood collects in a small vial in the hole of the dagger. Once it is filled, Raiel keeps it out of memory of her kills with that dagger. She can also place a vial filled with poison or acid inside the hole and strike with that. When it strikes, she can release the acid or poison into her kill causing further damage.
Manato: This whip, named after the father that raised her to be an assassin, is used for both tactical reasons and attacking reasons. Using it to wrap around poles to swing around or climb up, she can also use it to wrap around weapons and possibly disarm an opponent. It also has it usual striking capabilities causing great gashes if hitting at max speed.

Appearance: Raiel has a very basic appearance that allows her to appear as stealthy as possible. She wears a full body suit that goes from head to toe colored completely black. The fabric used to create this suit is a very slick fabric that allows air to rush past it very quickly and with little resistance. A hood on the top of the suit covers her eyes slightly so as to keep them unable to be seen by her enemies. She has adapted to this limited amount of sight and is able to work quite efficiently with it. She wears black gloves underneath sleeves that go well over the length of her hands, at least 5 inches past her fingertips. Underneath these sleeves are strapped two hidden blades that are always pointed forward. These allow for quick assassinations as well as ranged fighting. Her blade, Saito, rests at her waist and is easily grabbed for strikes when killing important people. And her whip, Manato, rests on her back to easily be grabbed for tactical retreats as well as ranged fighting.
She has a black mark on her face that goes straight down from the tip of her nose to the top of her chin. One earring is on her right ear. It is a simple earring adorned with a blue sapphire. This was a present passed on to her by her mother. It is customary for the mother of the child to pass on a piece of jewelry to their children when they left the home as they could always wear it with them at all times as a symbol of their mother always watching over them. Raiel continues to wear it and has not taken it off for years. She rarely removes her suit, feeling as if she is not herself. Her technical tool rests on her wrist, pulled up whenever she needs it.
Personality: Raiel literally has a crazy personality. She has no regards toward other’s lives and only cares to further herself in the world. She will take any mission offered without regards for the danger to the mission because she feels that she can take on any mission with ease. She was born with a rare disease in which she does not feel true pain. She feels the pressure from a stab or the heat from a burn, but she does not feel the actual pain from it. As such, she often will overlook simple stab wounds and even larger wounds, such as a broken bone.
While she does not care for the lives of others, she does care for her own. In fact, her worst fear is losing her own life. She will retreat from a battle if she feels her life is truly in danger. She is a hard person to get to know and usually shows her slight insanity and disregard for life with the way that she talks. She boasts about her abilities and feels that there is none out there that can kill her. The only missions she does not take are those that involve killing a known bounty hunter, assassin, mercenary, etc. She feels that she has a connection to them and will not attack them first. But she will defend and counter attack if she is attacked first.

History: Raiel Manetai was born on a world known as Tyreal. The people of this world, if purebred Tyrealeans, are born with a passive cloaking field that they can utilize at their will to mask their presence. They also have abilities over energy and can manipulate it in several different ways. Some have been known to be able to create mass amounts while others are known to create items from energy. Whatever the case, the Tyrealeans are a formidable group of people.
The Tyrealeans had believed for the longest time that they were the only ones in existence. They eventually realized their mistake after a crash landing from a gummi ship occurred on their world. The man was quickly captured and the ship taken by the government of Tyreal. After interrogation, an assassin took the man's life before he could get back to his ship. The government stripped the ship down to analyze the properties of the Gummi Blocks. After having analyzed it, they rebuilt the ship and sent a team into space to look around. Other worlds were found by the away team as well as more gummi blocks, allowing the world a chance to mingle with other worlds and see what lie in the vastness of space.
But this is Raiel's story, not the story of Tyreal and it's people. Not too long after Raiel was born, her mother had a son that her father took a great liking to. However, tragedy struck the family as the mother passed away during child-birth. Having lost her mother, Raiel was trained to be an assassin solely by her father, Manato. Her father was a well trained assassin who knew several ways to kill people and even passed on his favorite dagger to her when her training continued. But tragedy hit once more as they realized a rare but fatal illness within her brother.
Saito, her brother, was born with his cloaking field within his body. As such, he could not hide from the dangers of the world and could easily get attacked. The energy from the field also caused damage to his internal organs. A cure has not been found for this yet, but it can be treated… at great costs. The family lost most of their money to keep him alive, but they doubted that he would ever be able to be a true assassin. Raiel’s father soon quit killing people as a profession to look after his son and teach Raiel. The treatment for Saito’s illness was keeping up, but they didn’t know how long it would last.
As Raiel got older, she was told of the existence of other worlds and ways in which she could go to them. She was allowed to go on what they called the pilgrimage. Assassins, Bounty Hunters, and Mercenaries took the pilgrimage to take their first true kill. Raiel went to the world known as Olympus Coliseum and killed a man who was crazy and causing people to think that the end of the world was coming. It was proven that she had received training from one of the best assassins as she quickly took his life and returned with his head. It was her first kill with the blade passed down by her father.
Manato lived long enough to see her return with the head of the man she killed but passed away soon after. The stress of trying to take care of her brother had gotten to him and he passed away. After turning in her mission, Raiel was given an earring that was stated to be passed on by her mother before she died. She said to give it to Raiel when she was old enough to leave and go on her own. Raiel immediately put it on and went back to her brother, who was given a necklace given by his mother.
Raiel took Saito from Tyreal, vowing to return with plenty of money to fund research for a cure. She paid for several treatments for Saito before leaving, using the last of her father’s money to do so, and took him to Traverse Town. Renting a small place for very cheap, Raiel eventually killed the owner so she did not have to continue to pay rent for the place. People came looking, but the paperwork on the place that she stayed in could not be found, so they were left alone until any evidence could be found on the subject.
Raiel would find people she could take missions from regarding assassinations. Whether it be girlfriends who found out their boyfriend was a cheater and often went with other girls or if it was an employee of an unfair employer, Raiel did not care. She only cared if the pay was good and if she did not have to give her name. If a name had to be given, she only gave them “Rai” and left it at that. That way she could not truly be found out. Usually sleeping in the day and working at night, Raiel became accustomed to the Nocturnal lifestyle.
Now at age 28, Raiel continues her work as an assassin and plans to leave Traverse Town as the jobs are getting scarcer and scarcer. She has kept up the treatment of her brother and only values his life. She would gladly give her own life in order to keep him safe. She was an assassin, and nothing would get in her way now…
