In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Name: Jake Harrison
Nickname: None.
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Good.
Powers: Engineering: Jake is a pretty dang good engineer and mechanic. In fact, it's his favorite thing to spend his time with. He just loves tinkering around with devices and the like. In fact, he uses his basement and garage as places to hold his projects and work.
Fire: Jake can use some basic fire magic. He only learned it to open up some new possibilities for his engineering and to help him with it.
Fighting Skills: While Jake is mainly a thinker and experimenter, he does recognize the importance of self defense. He is pretty handy with a blade and decent in hand to hand combat.
Weapon:
Jake, using his mechanical skills, has crafted himself a sword for use in combat. It's handle is wrapped in a black leather. The blade of the sword is about 4 feet long and made from tempered steel. The blade has a shine on it that really comes unexplained, Jake isn't much of a fighter. The sword is in the style of a traditional Japanese sword in that it has a slight curve, is one edged, and is used in a different style that double edged swords.
Appearance: Jake is lean and tall in comparison to Leeroy, who is shorter and somewhat wider. Tall being he stands at about 6 feet, give or take an inch or two. He has shoulder length, dark brown hair that he wears either in his eyes, or flipped above them, though it sometimes appears black when he has just gotten done with a project. His dark green eyes seem to stand out against his hair a bit when they aren't covered by it. He has a couple small scars one his face and his body, most of them from trial and error he has made through his projects. He has slightly tanned skin.
For clothes he prefers something simple. He mainly wears a short sleeved, collared, light gray, button-up shirt sometimes with a white under shirt. He has a pair of slim black jeans he likes to wear with some white tennis shoes. It's either the jeans, or a pair of dark colored shorts. He also sometimes wears a red bandanna around his neck when he is working to soak up some sweat. It can get hot being an engineer.
Personality: Jake is a technical sort of person, keeping to himself and those he chooses to talk to. He isn't one to make friends on the spot, but he also is not one to pass up that kind of opportunity. He likes his work, and has a passion for experimenting. He also has a witty humor and usually will take a chance to make some sort of witty remark or sarcastic comment. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and gets easily frustrated when someone makes a negative comment about it. Being the much smarter of the two, Jake gets irritated with Leeroy's lesser intelligence and how he doesn't show much interest for experimenting. Although they have their differences, they are like brothers and always stay by each others side. He loves a little excitement and adventure, which is why he left his home world. Although he can be a good guy to hang around, he can have a short temper, especially when working. He dislikes annoyances and things that disrupt his work or what he's doing at the moment. At first he may seem patient, but if you're annoying him, he's probably starting to ignore you. He can also be a romantic at times, though he never has kept a real long relationship.
Original World: Radiant Garden
Current World: Twilight Town
History: Jake was born as the middle child of two loving parents in Radiant Garden. Well....maybe not so loving. The father was an arrogant, self absorbed jerk who only cared about himself and his oldest son, Jake's brother. His mother was neglectful towards all of her children and both parents were hardly ever home. It was during his time alone that Jake would start working on small little projects to rub off his boredom and loneliness. It was through that, he gained his love of being an engineer and a mechanic. His younger sister died at an early age from a sickness that could have been cured if the parents gave a damn about her. This happened when Jake was about 13. After that, he gave his parents a good 'screw you' and left.
Out on the roads, Jake fended for himself as best as he could. It was during that time he met Leeroy, a fellow homeless teen, who would soon become his closest friend. The two decided that sticking together was the best bet at increasing their chances at surviving on their own.
As the years went on, Jake lived his life the way he wanted to. Always made time for mechanics. He also had a few relationships. Those didn't last long. It went on for another 3 years, until he was 16. Then, he ended up in Traverse Town. He never really remembered how he ended up laying on the rocky pavement of the First District, he may have been sleeping when it happened. All he knew was, well as they say, he wasn't in Kansas anymore.
After that, life got a bit easier for him a Leeroy. They finally managed to get a roof over their heads and get some money rolling in. Thanks to that, Jake could now make his hobby his work. He began doing engineering and mechanics for money, and doing his own little side projects for himself. Two years went by. And when he was 18 and Leeroy was 19, they said goodbye to Traverse Town and moved to someplace else. Twilight Town. And that's where they are right now.

"You forgot to pay the bill for the air conditioning and the cooling, didn't you?" Jake said, sweat rolling down his forehead and face and onto the floor. "Wait a second, there's a bill for that?!" Leeroy exclaimed, sweating as well.
"Yes there is Leeroy. It's the reason why it is over 100 degrees in here!" Jake yelled, taking off the welding mask he was wearing and stopping the blow torch to turn around and talk to Leeroy.
"Well what about that other cooling system you made? You know, in case this happened?" Leeroy asked, sitting down in the chair behind him.
"It overheated..." Jake grumbled, going back to welding the metal plate back onto a piece of machinery on the wall in front of him. "I'll finish it later." Jake said to himself, walking up the stairs in his basement and motioning for Leeroy to follow.
"What are we doing?" Leeroy asked, following Jake into the kitchen in their apartment.
"We're gonna fix the air conditioning." Jake said calmly, bringing a stool down below the main air duct.
"Go downstairs and grab my tools." Jake said to Leeroy. "Alright," Leeroy said, going back down into the basement. A few moments later, he came back with the tools.
"You know, this could have been avoided if you had just paid the damned bills." Jake said, grabbing a screwdriver and beginning to open up the main vent, which contained the parts needed for functionality.
"Alright,so where should I start?" Jake asked himself, looking into the vent. Looking towards something he assumed was the motor, he said, "This should do it."
Meanwhile, Leeroy was trying to find a way to cool himself down. Eyeballing the fridge he said to himself, "I wonder if that willl work..."
He opened up the door to the freezer and stuck his head in. "Jackpot." he said to himself.
He enjoyed some minutes of cool until the ice started to melt. "Damn..." he said, closing the fridge.
He then went over to a couple windows and opened them. It wasn't as cool out today as he would like it, but it was much cooler than the inside of his house.
Jake had given up on the air conditioner, much easier to pay for it than spend all this time working in this heat. "Leeroy, please tell me next time you're gonna pay for the AC." he said from across the room, wiping up some of his sweat with his towel.
"Of course I am! This heat is just unbearable..." Leeroy hollered back.
"I'm gonna go outside and cool down a bit." Leeroy said, walking out of the kitchen and into the main hallway.
"Alright. Pick up some water if you can." Jake said in response, sitting down in an armchair and picking up some blueprints and a pen that were laying down on the floor beside the chair.
"I may not be as smart as you, but I'm not that stupid." Leeroy said, opening up the door.
"I know, I know." Jake said with a laugh, writing something down on the blueprints. "Just make sure you get some ice too while you're at it." Jake said, wiping some sweat from his forehead.
"Will do!" Leeroy said quickly, going outside and shutting the door behind him.
Some time later Leeroy returned, carrying a pack of bottled water under on arm, and a pack of ice in the other. After quickly putting the ice in the freezer, he tossed Jake a bottle of water.
"Thanks." Jake said, opening up the bottle. Several other blueprints had piled up around him. And by several, I mean a few hundred. Each one had been edited in some way, things added, things crossed out, etc.
"You had that much time?" Leeroy asked, staring down at the various piles of papers and pens, some had been completely emptied of ink.
"Yep." Jake said, almost completely soaked in sweat. "This heat ain't so bad after you have been sitting in your own sweat for about an hour." he said with a smirk.
"Well I'm cooled down." Leeroy said, laying down on the couch. "When do you plan on paying that bill?" He asked, looking over at Jake.
"When we get paid." Jake said, putting another blueprint in a pile at his feet.
"I sure hope that's soon." Leeroy said.
Name: Leeroy Carter
Nickname: None
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Good
Powers: Strength: Leeroy is the stronger of the two. He is better built muscularly than Jake. Though he isn't as agile as Jake.
Cooking: Leeroy is a much better cook than Jake, and really is something he likes to do. Though, it doesn't have as big as a role in his life as engineering and mechanic type stuff has in Jake's.
Fighting Skills: Leeroy is skilled in hand to hand combat, and with a hammer or mace. He is the better fighter of the two friends which is something they both agree on.
Weapon: Unlike Jake, Leeroy has no need for fancy blades. He chooses to use a simple mace, crafted by Jake from steel. The handle is covered in red leather and the head is in the shape of a large hammer's head.
Appearance: Leeroy is shorter than Jake, but has more muscle. He stands at about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and has short, black hair. He has light blue eyes that stand out against his dark black hair. He has sideburns and a tuft of facial hair on his chin. He is never seen without some sort of bruise or cut. Whether it be from fighting or an accident. His arms also are covered in various tattoos.
For clothing Leeroy wears pretty much the same thing. For a shirt he wears a sleeveless white shirt with some black shorts. When it is cold out, he wears a black leather jacket over his white shirt and some blue denim jeans.
Personality: Headstrong, friendly, and a bit stubborn are just a few words to describe Leeroy. Although he is the older of the two, he views Jake as his superior because of his intellect and skill with machinery. He is a devout and loyal friend, and an excellent person to have by your side. He isn't nearly as smart as Jake, and although he secretly is ashamed of it, he almost never lets it show. He really likes making new friends and isn't afraid to talk to someone he just passes by on the street. He is always willing to give overs a second chance if he feels they deserve it. He doesn't like it much when Jake attacks him verbally when he makes a mistake that wouldn't be made without some more brains, but he still views Jake as his closest friend. He doesn't have much love for machines, but he shows interest in them for Jake's sake. He likes to go for more physical activities and things like music. He can't stand it when someone thinks he is trying to be like Jake by showing an interest in engineering and mechanics. He's his own person. And he likes it when people recognize that one single fact.
Original World: Radiant Garden Current World: Twilight Town
History: Leeroy's mother died when he was young. He doesn't like to talk about it. His dad wasn't really the same after that and left after Leeroy turned 14. His dad wasn't ever mean to him though, and Leeroy doesn't ever blame him for leaving. The only thing Leeroy wished he would have done is give him some money before he left. Out on the streets and only, he learned how to cope with his past and survive on his own.
It was during his solitude that he met Jake, one of the people who would become his greatest friend. It was Leeroy who thought of the idea of sticking together to help each other survive, which was one Jake readily agreed on. Although Leeroy was one year older than Jake, he began to view him as a superior because of his intellect, initiative, and willingness to finish what he had started.
Leeroy and Jake both found themselves in Traverse Town one day. Leeroy at the time was 17, and was excited to find himself on a new world. Eager to make a new life for himself, he made residence in an old house with Jake that soon became the place the two would live in for the next 2 years. They were both able to find jobs in their new world and got some money rolling in. This made for a very positive change in their lives.
It wasn't long before Leeroy heard about Gummi Ships. He had heard of their purpose, and when he told Jake about them, the brilliant mechanic was skeptical, but agreed with Leeroy to try and build one. As the time went on, Leeroy grew even more hopeful and Jake less skeptical, this project went on for the remainder of the two years the duo would live in Traverse Town.
When the vessel was completed, Leeroy was 19, and Jake was 18. The project really brought out Leeroy's hopefulness and Jake's engineering skills. It was a hard project to make, and sometimes it seemed near hopeless. But with some positive thinking, and a little outside help, they were done.
It was Leeroy's idea to build the Gummi Ship, and it was Leeroy's idea to use it to travel to another world and set up a new residence there. Jake, eager to try out his newest creation, readily agreed with this proposal. During this venture, Leeroy gained a love for flying and travel, and Jake learned that his engineering skills made him into a pretty good pilot. Sometime after countless flights and returns to Traverse Town through constant trial and error, they were able to make their way to Twilight Town, where Leeroy's dream became a reality. Once they were there, they set up residence with some money saved from their time in Traverse Town ever since the project began. And that is where the make their lives now.

You are lacking for one of the histories. No they won't be composited together, because they are two seperate characters. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt of having to type so much, so hop to it. The WIP status ends after 7 days.

Thank God. A response.
I'll get to it don't worry.....Nothing else to say.
EDIT: Actually, I want to ask about what and how I should edit, so I Have a better chance of doing this right the first time and not screwing up and having to do it again. Thank the Lord that I don't follow the whole Seppuku thing.

Well, actually I don't know how exactly to put this.
I guess I'll be blunt.
I'm scrapping these two characters. You see, I had an idea for a character who really fit what is happening to me right now. It's nothing negative. It's actually pretty cool. You see, I have a band, and we're doing a debut tour around the South Eastern United States. I'm traveling a lot, and I thought of a character that was a traveler, roamer, wanderer, whatever you want to call it. He is also inspired from the song "Wherever I May Roam" by Metallica. And I have some ADHD, so I figured it would be a bit hard to make his bio and edit this one as well. So, there you have it. Do whatever it is you do with characters that meet this same, cruel fate.
