In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

~Dragon Scale~
This material can be found from a creature called the Water Flan. Description: It looks like...literally a blob of blue jelly. They are soft-like jelletin, which gives it such a high defense, so please be careful.
Plauisble Inhabitat: Well being a water flan I suspect it to be where a large body of water is at; there aren't any in Twilight Town, so perhaps you should check out another world. Also I've heard some of them...likes the shade of caves.
Legato found himself at a beach. "So this is Destiny Islands? What a nice place.[/color] The sun was glistening in the waters and the beach gave out a unique beauty which Legato found calming. Though he wanted to relax, he knew what he had to do here, but he couldn't do it alone.
"Arthas said to meet him on the beach, since I guess this is a beach, where is he." Legato said to himself. He was the only one he knew, apart from himself, that took this quest. Looking for him, he shouted "Arthas! Where are you!"

The soft sound of boots hitting sand could be heard as Arthas jumped from a palm tree, holding a coconut from the treetop in his hands. "Welcome to Destiny Islands, friend. Nice, isn't it?"
With a drink from the food in his hands, he gave a small smile and said, "I don't believe we've formally introduced ourselves. My name is Arthas Kinohorin, of The Guardians of the Worlds. It's a pleasure."
Legato was shocked when something suddenly jumped down from a tree while holding a brown, circular object in his hands. He took a quick step back, reacting suddenly to the appearance of the thing. He then noticed it was Arthas, who said:
"Welcome to Destiny Islands, friend. Nice, isn't it?"
It's amazing! I've never been to a beach before! It's so pretty! Legato said excitedly to Arthas. Legato was amazed such a world existed. The beauty of the Destiny Island was amazing.
"I don't believe we've formally introduced ourselves. My name is Arthas Kinohorin, of The Guardians of the Worlds. It's a pleasure."
"Hi there! My name is Legato! What's the Guardians of the Worlds? Oh yeah, before I forget, put this on." Legato said happily, giving him the CD sticker. "Quick Questions. Do your spells have cool down times? If they do, do you want to make your magic more powerful or reduce cooldown times? I'm going for magic as the description said it had high defense. By the way, I'm more of a supporter than attacker so yeah, sorry about that" Legato rapidly said to Arthas, hoping he could keep up.

For someone who quite obviously had places to go and people to pick up, Leiz was unwittingly putting himself through more trouble than he would have liked to acknowledge. It was just a small hunt, right? After all, that's what the poster told him.
"I should know better than that," he berated himself, lightly smacking a nearby palm tree. He narrowly avoided a falling coconut as he passed by, which he seemed to be blissfully unaware of. "These kind of bounty requests end up being longer than the client says they are."
Regardless of his thoughts, however, he felt somewhat entitled to leave his comrades in Twilight Town for a couple more hours. In the mean time, he roamed the beaches of a remote island amongst the seas of the Destiny Islands, searching for the elusive creature known as a 'water flan'.
What he found instead, though, surprised him.
A member of his crew had been interacting with another blonde-haired boy, whose name Leiz had deduced through eavesdropping. His origin was unbeknownst to him, but if Leiz had to make a guess, he'd say none other than Twilight Town. The two were obviously here for the same reason he was, so he didn't concern himself with the pleasantries of asking the age old question, 'why are you here'.
He waved to Legato with an unenthusiastic demeanor, only taking a brief glance at his crew member's acquaintance. "Hello, Legato, and ... Arthas."

Arthas was cut off by the arrival of yet another man, one he didn't know. He extended his arm to invoke his katana, but realized this stranger was familiar with the one named Legato. As he lowered his arm, he put the sticker on his arm under his cloak, not sure what it was for, then nodded to the newcomer before turning back to Legato.
"The Guardians of the Worlds is an organization devoted to protecting the hearts of the worlds from those who would want to take them. And as for my magic, I do have a limit, but no extremely powerful spells. I know the basic ones and Libra, but not much else."
Of course, that was a bluff, for these were people he barely knew. He decided to keep his true power hidden until needed, and turned back to the stranger.
"It seems that you're helping us as well. Care to introduce yourself? I'm sure you already heard my introduction." In all honesty, he was just suspicious, not trying to come off as an asshole. He just hoped that the message conveyed.
"Hello, Legato, and ... Arthas." said a horribly familiar voice. Turning around, he saw the presence of the captian, Leiz, making his way towards them.
Shit! Legato thought to himself. He didn't get the captain's permission to go here and the captain had a furious temper. Looking sheepishly at the floor, Legato said:
"uh... Hi there captain... Didn't know that you were coming uhh.." He wasn't sure what to say next. "I uh... I'm sorry! Please don't kill me! I'm so sorry!!!!" Legato pleaded to Leiz. He did not want to be at the receiving end of one of his anger spouts.
"It seems that you're helping us as well. Care to introduce yourself? I'm sure you already heard my introduction." He heard Arthas ask Leiz.
"Oh yeah! Arthas, this is my captain, Leiz..." Legato said quickly. Moving next to Arthas, he whispered "He's a guy by the way."
Turning back to Leiz, he asked. "Are the others with you?"

A grimace took over the boy's face as if he had tasted or smelled something foul, but the reason for his frown was a lot less mysterious and sinister than one would have thought. At least, it was a lot less mysterious to people who already knew him. Violet, Anger-stricken eyes fixated on Legato, showing signs that perhaps he had heard what he had said.
"Gee, thanks. I'm glad other people don't mind taking the liberty of clarifying my identity every time there's someone who looks like they can't discern genders," he said with a sneer, crossing his lithe arms over his black windbreaker. Even if his voice was all one had to go on, they might still come to that very same conclusion - that the one before them was either a man with a very high tenor, or a female. Leiz didn't take pride in that at all.
"No, Legato. They're probably not in Twilight Town anymore, considering that you ran off all namby-pamby. Everyone's stuck in a crowded ship for two days and they're content, but then you get them into a large open city for not even a whole day and they're all over the bloody place like it's an amusement park."
He sighed and paused, looking over to Arthas before giving a not-so-formal introduction. "Yeah, I'm Leiz. I'm here to help you guys out. But me first, mainly. Wouldn't have come otherwise, right?"
Arthas facepalmed at the squabble between the two, over what he didn't know. However, he knew the job came first, and he turned with katana appearing in his hand, saying over his shoulder,
"Well, let's get to work, men. The request said something about water...yet a shady area? Perhaps a cove or underwater cave?" Taking a few steps, he noticed some kind of wood structure in the distance, one he had never seen before, and pointed at it.
Legato stood there, cowering. He didn't like getting shouted at by Leiz. The captain scared him when he was like this and Legato didn't say anything, fearing his life was on the line. After a while, Leiz stopped shouting at him.
"Well, let's get to work, men. The request said something about water...yet a shady area? Perhaps a cove or underwater cave?" Arthas said, swinging a katana that wasn't there before over his shoulder. Taking a few steps, he then said "Why not try there?" Pointing towards a wooden structure in the distance.
"Oh yeah! That looks good, let's go! But before we go, do you both have those CD stickers on? I need to know that." Legato said, preparing himself for the inevitable battle. If they did not put them on, he wouldn't be able to help them at all. He needed to be sure and they needed to be ready.
"Oh, right. Your ability ... thing," Leiz replied with a neutral tone, looking over to the wooden structure that Arthas had pointed out to them. Certainly an acute observation, this he knew - if they weren't going to search for coves, Leiz likely would have come to the same conclusion. "Just slap it on my shoulder when you get the chance."
Taking point without even consulting his two associates, Leiz began walking over to the wooden building without the slightest hint of reluctance in his step. The quicker he was finished with this, the quicker they'd get back to Twilight Town and the quicker they'd get back to their travel plans.
Falsetto, Anil and Helena were all too ecstatic to see other places ... and for some reason, Falsetto just couldn't shut up about Radiant Garden. He would love to silence their cries for exploration, if only for a few hours.
"So, this thing's called the Water Flan. From what the description gives, it's heavily resistant to close combat tactics. I've got a gun ... Arthas, you've got spells ... and Legato, I'm not really sure what you can do, but you should hang tight in the back and see what you can do from there. But - if we have to get up close - I would say that Arthas is the most well-equipped to deal with it. If it's made of a soft, jelly-like material, sharp weapons are our best bet."
