In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It is simple, my allies. This human provides us with what we need-a heart. Each of you will take a separate crystal and focus your element on it. Xigbar, you will have this one-"
One with blue and white floated towards the Sharpshooter, landing in his hand as Xaldin continued. "Demyx, though it's not fully your element, you take the blue one. Larxene, the yellow one is entrusted to you. As for myself, this one will suffice." He reached out and grabbed a jet black one, clenching his hand around it.
"Now note that the Nobodies created will be imbued with your class of magic, as well as being loyal only to those who are present at the time of creation. When we release the hearts of the beings, we will fuse them with the human's, only causing the human's Heartless to form instead of the Aeons."
//OOC: Xigbar's is Vaelfor, Demyx's is Shiva and Larxene's is Ixion. Xaldin will have Bahamut in this instance.
"Now, shall we begin, my friends?" said the Lancer as he lowered to the ground on an air current, next to the human.
At Xaldin's word, the blue and white crystal drifted towards him on the slightest breath of wind. Xigbar opened his hand and watched it settle into his palm. He examined the shard, curious as to what he had been matched with.
He quickly put a name to the aura he felt. This creature was, for the most part, non-elemental; it was energy. Xigbar smirked in satisfaction. This would be relatively easy.
Soon Xaldin had finished speaking, departing for the ground. The Freeshooter followed, tearing a rip in the space before him and warping to the throne base. The human looked out of place on the pale white floor. Xigbar stepped forward, resisting the urge to nudge it with his boot, and stood beside the Lancer with the crystal in hand.
It occurred to him that he didn't know how they were to extract the Heart of the unconscious man. And so he waited, yet again, concentrating on shifting his energy into the stone as Xaldin had mentioned. Perhaps it was his imagination, but as he stood there the aeon seemed to stir impatiently in his grip.
Once Xaldin said his name, the blue crystal floated towards Demyx; landing right in the palm of his hand, as it reached him. Demyx looked at the crystal curiously, he could feel it's energy vibrating in his hand yet...the aeon seemed a bit relaxed; as if it was in no mood to rush. The Melodious Nocturne smiled, seemed like this aeon and him would get along just fine. With that thought, he listened to Xaldins speech; and watching as he lowered himself down to where the human was followed by transporting through darkness. He then stepped forward next to Xiggy his friend, and focusing his energy into the crystal as Xaldin had said to do so, waited to see what would happen next.
Larxene reached out and snatched the yellow crystal from the air, rotating it slowly with her fingers as she examined every facet of it. Xaldin said that they would need to focus their element on the crystals. A simple enough task for her: she could feel the pure electrical energy of the Aeon within tingle on her fingertips.
She gave a small smirk and in a flurry of shadows joined her fellows down at the center of the floor, completing their circle. In silence she regarded the Lancer, curious how exactly he would draw out the hearts of the captured beast, and how he planned to bind their hearts to the pathetic human, electrical energy flowing over her in anticipation.
Wisps of wind surrounded Xaldin's hand, and he held it outstretched, aimed at the man. Then, with a small smirk, his hand suddenly closed, crushing the crystal and causing the image of a hooded boy to appear, held in grey chains of wind. Suddenly, the image was gone, and a ball of light appeared to fuse with the human, who's eyes shot open. He let out a pained scream, then collapsed again, shaking.
"This will have to be quick, for he won't last long."
The next move in this process was an unexpected one. Xigbar watched as the Wind Lancer destroyed the aeon crystal with tendrils of wind. After transferring a last bit of energy into his own he followed suit, compressing the space around the crystal in his hand, crushing it at once; immediately he felt the similar rush of energy and looked on as a ball of light shot towards the man's chest.
Breaking the crystal. . . . The aeons within seeking the closest Heart, that of the human before them. . . . Suddenly, mind whirring powerfully, Xigbar began to have an understanding of what they were about to do.
"Ahh," he chuckled. It was simple, yet never would have occurred to him before now. "So. . . now, who's to do the honors? Or are we all supposed to pitch in corrupting it?"
After the two other nobodies crushed their aeon crystals, Demyx did the same. He transferee a bit more of his energy into the crystal, then closing his hand crushed it with ease. At once The Melodious Nocturne felt a rush of power fly out of his hands, an image of a fine woman appeared before turning into a ball of light and entering the human's chest. At this the nobody smiled, "cool..." he said in awe.
Following her colleagues’ examples, Larxene allowed her electrical energy to flow into the crystal before crushing it within her clasp. The power it released was tantalizing, and like with the other shattered crystals a light sped from the still crackling fragments to the human’s heart.
Larxene regarded the human again, coolly. She had yet to fit the puzzle together, figure out what exactly Xaldin intended to use the human for. From the sound of the words that left the Freeshooter’s lips, Xigbar had it figured out. She gave the Nobody a sideways sneer before locking her thunderous eyes on the Lancer.
((Sorry, Xiggy, but since your RPer has poof, I will skip you. O:))
Once the Aeons had merged with the human being, who began to convulse slower and less violent, Xaldin acknowledged Xigbar's question by stepping forward and placing a hand on the human's head, focusing the power of his Corridor of Darkness. Yet, his mind was blank of any destination, so it manifested as something different.
Shadow Heartless.
As the greedy beings sensed the power of the multiple hearts, they swarmed the man, attacking him and corrupting the hearts inside the vessel. With a satisfied grin, Xaldin still held onto the head of the man, floating out of reach from the Shadows as, finally, the hearts were freed. With a final yell, the man and the souls of the Aeons released, and four giant beings akin to the Aeons appeared, in a sleep-like state. In the middle of them all, a Dusk slithered off, ready to serve its new lifestyle.
As all this finished, the Whirlwind Lancer chuckled, satisfied his plan had worked, yet hesitated as something seemed to flicker into the room, then disappeared.
"Hold on. I sense...
He turned his head, lances appearing as something sounded outside, akin to a roar.
"It appears our creature's Heartless has appeared rather quick...We need to go outside I believe, friends."
Then, with a gust of wind, he floated before the Bahamut Nobody and placed a hand on its forehead, wind enveloping it.
Then, as he disappeared in darkness, it's eyes opened and followed its new master, ready to fight it's total opposite.
Xigbar had been correct. Without any further ado, Xaldin stepped forward and preformed similarly to how the Freelancer had imagined, corrupting the Heart of the human precisely and efficiently.
A roar. The Heartless of the aeon-bound human, apparently, had appeared at once. Xigbar glanced at Xaldin curiously. He was about to ask about the Nobody itself, but his words went unspent. The beast appeared only moments later, slowly beating its great wings in the middle of the hall to create a torrent of wind similar to his master's. Xigbar watched as Xaldin quickly laid claim to it.
Xigbar had been next to crush his crystal. Sure enough, within moments of the birth of Xaldin's great dragon Nobody, a very different drake emerged from the shadows, and a second roar joined the first. It would get crowded in here. Fast.
Stepping forward to mirror the Wind Lancer, Xigbar sent waves of his energy down his forearm to be imbued in his new vassal. With a step back and a turn he opened a corridor of darkness large enough for them both. He would depart with his creature - Valefor, he corrected himself mentally, having learned it's name when his hand was upon the drake's brow - and leave room for Demyx's and Larxene's beasts to come into existence.
"C'mon, you," he said, deceptively lazy in his command, and the two vanished from the white room in a swirl of shadow. In the Realm of Darkness he simply followed Xaldin towards where the battle would commence.
