In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Demyx was wandering about Twilight Town, his arms crossed as he tried to sort out all the thoughts in his head. He felt bad for leaving Crystal back in the castle, but he needed time for him self; there was just...too much going on. And like always, The Melodious Nocturne had no idea how to deal with it. Plus, he knew Xaldin wouldn't let anything happen to her. Afterall, the undine was basically his key to make the nobody actually work! And there was no way the Whirlwind Lancer would give that up.
'Man...this sucks!' Demyx thought, a picture of Xaldin's face clear in his mind. 'Stupid Xaldin...there was no reason to get Crystal involved...none at all.' The nobody closed his eyes, his thoughts though they seemed angry were still calm. The Nocturne swore, if there was a time he wished he could express emotion, it would be now. He was just so angry! And yet...at the same time he wasn't. It was so difficult be a being of nothingness at times, because it was times like these when you remember...that everythings a lie.
Demyx didn't have a heart, and so had not emotions...or feelings whatsoever. It was frusturating, but what could he do? And Crystal...she wouldn't be in the situation she was in, trapped in a tank if it wasn't for him. And he knew that. "Maybe if I make a deal with Xaldin..." he muttered underneath his breath, but he knew it was hopeless. The nobody had messed up BIG time...and now he had to just deal with it. It was funny...but a moment Demyx could actually say he felt guilty, but he knew that was only in his head. He then looked up at the sky, and trying to clear his mind of everything just let out a short sigh.
Sunset Hill was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Twilight Town, and Rose was taking advantage of that fact to catch up on a little nothing-doing. She and Halen sat on the hill, back to back, leaning on each other, as she listened to music on her wrist computer. A song came on that she both loved and had memorized, and she began singing along happily.
"I want you to remember A love so full it could send us all ways I want you to surrender All my feelings rose today And I want you to remain The power of children can amaze I'll try not to complain I know that's a pisser baby
The chemicals between us The walls that lie between us Lie in this bed The chemicals displaced There is no lonlier state lie in this bed..."
As the nobody tried to clear his mind of all thoughts, something reached his ears. He looked around, was that...singing he heard? He closed his eye's and listening to the anonymous voice which held no figure just yet, pictured the notes being sung in his head. He smiled, how the Nocturne loved music. It was the only thing in his non-existant life that felt real to him. However, the next thing he did happened without his own accord. He suddenly raised his hand up, summoning his beloved Arpeggio. And gripping it firmly in his hands began to strum the chords on his sitar. He knew the song which the voice was singing, and so played along...not opening his eyes ever, while he tried to engaged himself in the song.
Her eyes snapped open. Someone was playing... SOmeone was listening, and thought her worthy enough to accompany. She had always wondered how good a singer she was really, but, she had never sang around people when she could help it...
She smiled. If someone thought she was good enough, then, hell, she might as well keep going. She stood up, and continued singing, he voice becoming stronger as she sang with purpose.
"I want you to remember Everything you said Every driven word Like a hammer, hell, to my head
The chemicals between us The walls that lie between us Then lie in this bed The chemicals displaced There is no lonlier face lie in this bed
The chemicals between us The chemicals between us Lie in this bed..."
As the song continued, Demyx could hear the voice becoming stronger; a touch of feeling finally starting to show. The Nocturne smiled, 'This is why...I'm so jealous of other people.' he thought sadly. Music was the best thing in the nobodies life, and though he sounded great by himself; there was always...something missing after he finished a song. And he knew exactly what it was... emotion. Another reason why it sucked to be a nobody. Sure a song can sound good, but without emotion it could never be great...it would always be just ok, and that's how Demyx viewed his music all the time...just ok.
But somebodies were different, they actually had hearts and so...were able to make a simple tune turn into something amazing. The Nocturne let out another sigh, but then tuning back into the singing; continued to play. This time his eyes open, he looked around his surroundings. Maybe he could find out where the voice was coming from before the song ended. His eyes looked around widely, however he had no such luck. 'hmmm....' he thought, 'Maybe I should just follow the voice...' And so, closing his eyes again; the nobody turned around and did just that; opening him eyes just to make sure he didn't bumb into something. After a few seconds, he could hear the voice more clearly. "bingo." Demyx said smiling.
She started walking towards the guitar. Truth be told, she wanted to know exactly who it was who was playing along with her. She was shocked to see a member of the Org. 13. She remebered the cloaks, though, not the names or faces. She frowned slightly, then smiled at him. Nobody or no, he was a damn fine player, and he was playing to her.
"We're the hollow men We are the naked ones We never meant you harm Never meant you wrong I'd like to thank All of my lovers, lovers, lovers, lovers, lovers
The chemicals between us The army of achievers Lie in this bed The chemicals displaced There is no lonlier state lie in this bed
The chemicals between us The chemicals between us The chemicals
The Melodious Nocturne followed the voice until he finally saw a girl, with short red hair and hazel eyes. She obviously saw him too, however the expression on her face was not something he expected. She was...frowning? Wait that wasn't right...why would she do that? Did she perhaps think he was someone else? The nobody wanted to ask, but soon her lips curved into a smile; which just confused the nobody even more. He smiled back, still playing his sitar as the girl continued to sing. Perhaps they could talk after the song was done, though...after seeing that frown Demyx couldn't help but worry maybe this girl actually knew what he was...hopefully that wasn't the case. If it was...oh man...there might be some trouble.
"That's a fine instrument you got there. Come on up. I feel like singing more. And you seem like you need a release." Wow, two Nobodies and a Heartless. She was making some strange friends. But she wasn't complaining. The woman had viciousness in excellent measure, Seed was like Halen, and this guy seemed like he would actually be nice. "I'm Rose. What's your name?"
The nobody laughed at the girl, as she mentioned he looked like he needed some release. He smiled up at her, and shaking his head slightly muttered, "You have no idea." He stopped playing his sitar, and running up to where the girl was, heard her mention her name. "Rose huh?" he said, dropping his hands to his sides, as Arpeggio disappeared; dissolving into a puddle of water. "That's a very pretty name, I'm Demyx! Nice to meetcha Rose." At this the Nocturne extended his hand towards the girl, and with eyes bright with what looked to be excitement, gave her a playful smile.
She didn't bat an eye as his guitar melted into a puddle. She had a feeling he could call it back whenever he wanted. After all, Nobodies had powers over the elements that she couldn't even begin to imagine. She shook his eagerly proferred hand, and led him back to the top of the hill. Halen glared at Demyx, then turned away, looking unblinkingly into the sun. "So, Demyx, Ima guess you're a Nobody. Beyond that, you're a member of the Organization. And, you are Myde's other. Don't ask how I know this stuff. The important thing is, I don't care. Halen does, but then again, he's a Heartless, so he always gets upset around Nobodies."
As Rose led him back to the top of the hill, she glared at him. 'uh-oh...' Demyx thought worried. 'that can't be good.' He gave her a nervous smile, however that soon changed once the girl spoke again. "So, Demyx, Ima guess you're a Nobody. Beyond that, you're a member of the Organization. And, you are Myde's other. Don't ask how I know this stuff. The important thing is, I don't care. Halen does, but then again, he's a Heartless, so he always gets upset around Nobodies." The Nocturne was shocked, just how in the world did she know all of that!? And Myde...so that was the name of his heartless huh? He wondered what his other self was like, maybe he was like him? Nah, probably not. He gave Rose a look of disbelief, but then he began to smile again, and soon...he even laughed. "Well..." he said walking to the girls side, "I...wow I didn't expect that." He gave out another laugh, and scratching the back of his head asked. "So? do you want me to leave then or something? Cause..if it's alright with you, I'd rather not get into a fight. Using energy is such a pain."
Rose chuckled. "Did I not just say I don't care about that stuff, Demyx? I am on freindly terms with another Nobody, a blond woman, calls herself Xena. She kicks ass. I don't hold things people can't control against them. YOu can't control being a Nobody, so it doesn't bother me. Besides, how could I dislike someone who rocks so hard?" she asked with a big grin. "I much prefer making friends to making enemies. Enemies aren't fun. Plus, mine tend not to last very long," she added, patting the barrel of the shotgun slung over her back.
Demyx laughed, as the girl patted the barrel of the shotgun that was slung over her back. "I see." he said, before sitting down on the ground. So this girl didn't care he was a nobody huh? Hey! Whatever worked for her, at least he didn't have to make a quick escape now. He looked up at the sky, and thinking about what Rose said was concerned about the fact she had met another nobody...that had blonde hair. 'Larxene...' he thought with a sigh. It was obvious within the orginization, that the Nocturne...and Nymph hated eachother. There was not a day that went by where the two didn't fight, which made life sorta hectic at times. Demyx let out another sigh, and looking up at Rose said in a casual tone. "Your voice is nice."
Rose blushed slightly, smiling. "Thanks. I don't much sing in front of other people. In fact, you're the first. And that was only cause you played along with me. Didn't realize people in these worlds knew songs from my world. You play very well," she said, nodding absently. "So... Something's bothering you. Feel like talking?" she asked, wondering just what could upset a Nobody so much.
Demyx gave the girl a blank stare, after she asked if there was something he wanted to talk about. He opened his mouth, and raised his hand as if he was about to speak; but then sighed, and dropped his hand down at the ground. He then shook his head, saying "Nah...it's not that important anyways...I just...need to figure things out that's all." The Nobody looked up at the sky, 'Crystal....' he thought sadly, 'Im sorry...'
