In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The ginger blinked a few times with surprise. "How'd you manage to do that?" he inquired, curiosity festering in his mind. He played the gravity-defying stunt over in his mind, trying to figure out how such a feat were even possible. Perhaps this kid knew a thing or two about the art of illusion?
Regardless, the Nobody trudged onward, jumping off the tall wall. He landed with practiced ease on the other side, rising to straighten his posture and dust off his coat. He then made for the Mansion's door, and once there, offered the handle a tug.
"Let's see how lucky we are. . ." And, as peculiar as it was, the door creaked open on its old metal hinges, screeching their presence to the immediate atmosphere. It was almost as if the Mansion had been anticipating guests.

Alias ran to the door and looked inside with curiosity, the mansion looked old...but some how, well kept, even with the cobwebs. "Wow Axel...It's so...calm..." HE said softly walking in, it was like stepping into the twilight zone, it was as if something was watching you, and you couldn't place your finger on it. It was dangerous, and yet, rather melancholy. "So Axel, what where should we snoop first?" He asked
Once his eyes had adjusted to the darker lobby, he took in the view for a moment. The walls and mirrored stairwells matched the color of the burgundy-brown floor. And while most of the furniture and other such things had long been cleaned out, a few eye-catching objects remained: like the strange glass case at the very center of the room, and the tall stands that stood sentinel near each stairwell, a golden Pegasus frozen in place at the top of each.
"So Axel, what where should we snoop first?"
The soft question reminded him that they were here to explore, and Number Eight gladly bit at the opportunity to take charge.
To their left, a strange door sat open a couple of inches, not enough to see inside, but just enough to entice the curious mind. A smirk tugged at one corner of the Ginger's mouth. "Bingo!" One finger extended toward the intriguing door.

Alias looked where Axel pointed and walked over to the door and gently nudged it open and looked inside. There wasn't much in here, it looked like maybe an old Dining room? "Axel, do you have any idea how long this place has been abandoned?" He asked noticing some fairly new scratches on the wall that weren't as dusty.
The Nobody leaned against the frame of the door, peering inside from the comfortable perch he'd easily shifted into. Dusty green eyes quickly took in the details of the eerie room: the old furniture, the dark burgundy walls and the marks that tainted them... The faded, even frosted glass of the window panes toward the back. He could definitely see why rumors of the Mansion's haunting were going around.
But as for how old this place was? The Nobody responded with a lousy shrug; a prerequisite to the proceeding statement. "I'm not really sure. But the rumor around town is that it's older than the rest of Twilight Town." That's about the only answer he could give. Axel was no history buff, and typically preferred to write history than to read it. He enjoyed living in the moment... And this room was making this one dull. So, with arms now crossed, the Nobody sprung lazily off the door frame, standing straight again. "Let's check out the rest of this place."
And with that, he turned away, leaving Alias to make a decision about what to do from here on his own... Even though The Flurry got the feeling that he knew what his decision would be.

Alias nodded and followed his red haired friend. "How about upstairs?" He said looking up, seeing past the banister that there was a door up there. "I wonder if there is anything neat there..." He said and headed for the stairs, with, or without Axel. He was curious about this place, older that twilight town? This place felt timeless, so how old could this mansion be?
Well, this certainly was getting nowhere fast. And unfortunately, the Flurry had an agenda to keep to. His self-proclaimed "break time" was over. The Superior was sure to lose faith in his abilities and tighten the reigns of his freedom if he didn't bring some news something meaty back to the Castle soon.
The redhead shrugged. "Eh. Well, it looks like it's time for me to go... Orders to keep to and all." One hand unwound from its crossed position and waved a rather lazy farewell, and the Nobody turned to leave. "Perhaps we'll meet up later?" But he doubted it.
And just as quickly as water could douse a flame, Axel was gone.
