Name: Zenith Arceon
Nickname: Drezden, Drez
Age: 16, going on 17.
Gender: Male
Species: Psuedo-Human
Position: Chaotic Neutral
Powers: Elemental Infusion:Zenith has the ability to infuse his weapons with the elements. Each grants the Halberds a magical addition, which deals elemental damage and has a chance of dealing corresponding elemental status effects. Consumes 10% of Drezden's max MP.
3 post cooldown; another element can be used after 2 posts.
Weight Control: Zenith can manipulate the weight of himself or anything inanimate (or a willing person) that is near him. Anyone affected doesn’t feel any difference, and the shape/atomic makeup of the affected is not changed(an exception being his halberds). 12% of Drezden's MP per target. He often uses this to extend his jumps, disrupt physical attacks, or change the form of his halberds.
Immobilize: Drezden can stop all movement within a 15 foot radius of himself for 1 post. He is also affected by this, and so he uses this for a ‘time-out’ for strategizing. Everyone can still attack from where they stand. A strong-enough opponent can nullify the effect of Immobilize. 15% MP and 2 post cooldown.
Mindscape Projection: A door to a world of Drezden's creation appears; it typically looks like the outside environs.
-He can make this door appear at any time, and conceal it at will. Ambush is a viable option by making his portal in an already-existing door. He can concentrate for one post to make it physically disappear.
-The door sucks in anyone who opens it(Drezden can exempt people he concentrates on).
-His battle options in here are expanded reasonably; he can manipulate the environment to his advantage.
-He can move the door anywhere in the current world, providing fast transport.
He can only summon the door three times per topic, can stay in it for only one post by himself (more if other people are in there) and has a 4-post cooldown.
When someone finds his mindscape door, enters it, and defeats him, the exit is revealed, and the victor gets a semblance of this ability(although weaker). Alternatively, there is always a secret route to escape; one just has to find it, and wholeheartedly will it to open.
Limit Break: Vertigo Incision-
Drezden jumps, and in midair slashes diagonally and vertically. Blades of elemental energy extend the range of the slashes. He lands, and performs fast dashes at the opponent while spinning himself and his halberds(like a dash version of
Kurt Zisa's attack). Stopping abruptly, he puts his halberds, side-by-side, above his head. The opponent is assaulted with elemental attacks. After this attack, Drezden is severely fatigued.
Usable every 12 posts.
Weapon: Two identical Halberds with collapsible poles; they have blades at each end. The parts of the Halberd with blades, pole and all, detach. These are connected to the main part of the weapon by extendable chains. He wields one fully extended, gripped in the middle. He attacks with the other collapsed to the size of an axe, the pole on his back and one piece wielded as a knuckle-blade. He has no trouble wielding them fully-extended, as he's trained his mass control to make these near-weightless. He can change their form for varied attack options.
A cross pendant with a foreboding aura. If looked at directly, it strikes fear in opponents.
Picture: Appearance: Zenith is around 5'11" and 150lb. Drezden has black mid-length hair, extending about ¾ down his neck. His hair is parted in the center, and is mid-to-very spiky. He has a very muscular build for his age, especially his arms. He has greenish-blue eyes that stand out in comparison to his hair. His outfit consists of comfortable black jeans, with a purple shirt that comes down to his forearms. Over this, he wears an all-black jacket made of material similar to the Organization XIII cloaks. He has red fingerless gloves with black stripe accents on the fingers. Instead of shoes, he wears flexible foot guards with cloth wrappings, allowing for comfortable and quick movement.
Personality: Overall, Drezden is arrogant, slightly malevolent and battle-hungry. His favorite food is sushi with LOTS of wasabi, being as daring as he is. His favorite color is purple, and he likes calm areas. The liking of the latter is mostly only when he's had a lot of excitement lately. Around other people, he is quiet and reserved, due to not having much to say anyway. A sort of living enigma, he often finds them to be too boring to give a crap about; this stems from probably the only excitement he could find was fighting. However, he is quite easily creeped out. His actions most often speak louder than his words. So far, he hasn't been in close contact with anyone, so he has potential for it; however, he still likes doing things by himself. Probably, he'd turn whatever he's doing into a competition to make it more interesting. He’s a bit of a romantic, but he won’t fall for anyone like some kind of floozy. On a basic level, he has a sort of solemn mask he takes off around friends, due to his mistrust of others at times.
Original World: A mystery to all.
Current World: Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden.
History: Bang. Boom. Whatever word can describe it. The last thing he remembered: the explosion that destroyed what he had but never truly grasped. He remembers some of his life before what appeared to be an attack; a family, a seemingly normal life that is now gone. A family, society and a real life, all gone. But the worst part is: he couldn’t remember why it happened. There are faceless people that he can’t really remember. It seems his was a world unknown to outsiders, however, they were also ignorant to their existence. Their people were different but it didn’t seem like it, some were normal like other humans but the lucky ones had powers varying from parents. He guessed that he was the luckiest since he has powers and, for all he knows, he’s the only person who knows their world’s story. There may be his kind elsewhere, but thus far he only knows ‘me, myself and I’.
{Before/During KHI}
He woke in a canyon. Blue rocks, with an unreal miasma about it. Darkness.
At the time, he was confused and, well, desperate. He only had some munny and his own abilities. The shadows promised me answers. I got no such thing; I instead lost something. Not exactly sure what it was, but it seemed important. He felt... tinged. Stained. He wandered around this indigo valley, not knowing where he was.
"I suppose this must be another world. I always thought that it couldn't just be us."
But... how did he get here? And if there are many worlds, why here?
He took comfort with discovering the name of this place: Hollow Bastion. A fitting name for such a place.
On the topic of this darkness, he came across these weird... things. They were like the shadows, personified. He chased after them, as they seemed to melt into a pool of darkness.
Then, nothing. Black. It felt like endless falling, until---
"Umph!"
So many different places... first Hollow Bastion, and now... Traverse Town?
The locals told him it was a place for those who had lost their worlds; he'd fit right in. He didn't get too cozy, as he might just pop into another world at any second. Wouldn't have surprised him if it did happen.
{During KHII}
It's been almost a year since he had arrived. Whoever he is. He has been trying to find answers to the questions that are the simplest, but the hardest to answer.
He finds that the hole in me that the darkness made is closing. Whatever it took, he has again, and more. He got a little world of his own, a door to whatever he wants.
{After}
Drezden is looking for a way to other worlds.
After being unexpectedly dropped in two worlds, he sort of wants to... go there knowing he wants to. Being stuck in a world when he now knows that others exist... well, it just wouldn't suit him. He’s working on a way to see other worlds. Who knows what awaits him?
Role Playing Sample: Drezden walked through the big doors in the First District.
I wonder where these lead.The doors opened, leading him to see a statue of two dogs. They seemed to be in love or something, an emotion not yet felt by him. Feeling a bit sad he decided to move on. He walked up a slope to find a small door. Seeing it was just an abandoned old house he advanced onward. continuing he found a another door with weird writing and a flame on it. It wouldn't budge so Zenith went back to the main plaza where he saw those odd... dark things again but some were different then the ones he had seen in the canyon where he had woken. There were five of the weird all black small ones that looked like slightly human bugs. There were also more humanoid ones, wearing metal helmets. The three of them were dancing around in place which made him feel uncomfortable. Then comes this big fat looking one in a helmet comes out of nowhere. It was at least twice Drez's height and who knows how many times his weight.
There was this moment where everything sort of froze and then, they charged. He had to duck out of the way and then two Halberds appeared in his hands. Assuming he had to fight back he ran forward to face them. He didn't really know what I was doing but his first slash hit one of those Shadow Bugs and I was surprised when it went through it and didn't destroy it. After slashing it a couple more times it disintegrated into the air and disappeared. he made my right-hand weapon really dense on the follow-through of his swing, using gravity to smash one of the creepy creatures into a wall with a ton's worth of blunt force. Even with his powers, it took a lot just to keep the Halberd up during the attack.
Drezden turned his attention to the huge lump of fat and shadow.
He thrusted at it with his left-hand weapon, only to face massive recoil. This strategy wasn't working. After an ambush by the remaining smaller dark creatures, he decided to take the same approach. Zenith waited until it prepared to attack him, then made himself about as dense as a feather. He leaped over it, landing at normal weight.
He hacked away.
Big Boy fell on top of him, and faded away after five seconds; that was enough to damage and nearly suffocate me. He then set his sights on the peons; he was going to end this quickly. He jumped high into the air, slashing wildly. Two shadowy insects were defeated. He landed, and rushed the creepy dancers. He missed one, but the other was shredded to bits. He stopped suddenly and stabbed the air above him with his Halberds. Standing back and watching the fire, ice, and lightning, there were no more shadows to be seen.
Questions/Comments/Suggestions? Expressing my interest in a Keybearer. I know I won't get one right away, but still. Also, can I have first person RPing? I know it's usually third person and such, so I'm making sure to ask.
