In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Leviathan slunk through the water, it's mechanical body undulating as it passed through the water, stalking its prey. It was the Guardian of Atlantis, and as such, it could suffer no such interlopers as these to pass.
It continued stalking the ships, staying just out of eyesight, it's mechancal sensors keeping track of the ships. Then, finally, it deemed the time right to attack and turned, heading straight for the ships. It's mechanical pincers clacked in the water as it rocketed towards the ships, on a direct collision course, aiming for the engines of the Traverse Ship.....

As the alarms blared, Max spun around from the window. That was a warning alarm, letting the crew know there was danger. He moved quickly through the corridors to his room, grabbed his war-pike, and began heading in the direction of his gummi ship. If this was anything like that heartless, things would be bad.....
OOC: there are no turns, cookid. there are rounds. You post once within the round, which ends on a certain date, in no certain order. It's your choice if you want to wait for a response to one of your posts from someone or not.
He looked at Mikhail, then his cane, and sighed. "No injuries, just something going on with Deathblade. They made me carry this because it's tiring me out pretty bad. . ." He took a deep breath and leaned on his cane. He was more tired than he should be. . . but he was okay, right?
Aside from random bone spikes shoving their way through your skin and bouts of dizziness? Yeah, you're perfectly fine.
Saxen rolled his eyes. Deathblade was just trying to be a pain. Oh well. Mikhail had called Milo over. Good. He enjoyed getting into the more intellectual parts of things. Violence. . . it never appealed to him. Sure, he enjoyed a good fight, but that was just sparring between friends, never with an intent to do harm. Milo came over and interrupted Saxen's thinking, but that was perfectly okay.
"Hey, Milo. Do you remember us? We had asked you to tell us about Atlantis before that creature attacked the ships. I was hoping you'd be able to tell us, now, since we were interrupted, then."
((Please, tell me if I totally missed something. . . I wouldn't put it past me. XD))
((OH my bad I thought we were doing it in a posting order))
Traverse Town Mothership
Sweet heard the alarms go off. Well that couldn't mean anything good. Sweet stood up from the crewman he was working on. He stared at him and told him to stay put. It seemed this trip having one problem after another. First a giant black monster thing now who knows what.
Sweet grabbed his tools and ran to the window. He couldn't see anything yet but because the alarms were blaring there had to be some danger that had already attacked the ship. Sweet only hoped it wouldn't cause as many casualties as the black monster had.
Ravian jumped as the alarm went off. He had almost screamed, having been entranced by a small fish that had kept swimming just on the edge of his view. It was gone now of course. He looked around frantically wondering what had happened. He had heard the sound of metal hitting metal ring through the water, but he hadn't felt any jarring movements or even a real shift in direction. So if the two ships hadn't hit each other, what had happened? The answer revealed it self just after Ravian thought of the question. He hoped the ship was okay, they didn't need to lose another one. Along with half of that ship's population.
He finally looked away from the fish he had been watching and to the ocean floor to see a large number of ships littering the area. One last realization made him realize that just rocks alone couldnt sink all of these ships. Or even most of them. For that matter. He listened for orders, or even speculations. Really almost any information would be appreciated.
“Certainly! I’d be happy to…” Milo jumped when the alarms started blaring, screaming out their warning call. It needed no translation. The sound was universal for DANGER, NOW IS THE TIME TO PANIC!
This was more or less exactly what Milo did. He was not a technician, he was not a leader, a strategist, a pilot, or a doctor, or anything that might be considered useful in these kinds of situations. All he could do was stare out the giant windows of the ship and watch in horror as their death came swimming towards them. Swimming?
What was that thing? It was like nothing Milo had ever seen in any science picture book or exhibit. The scholar realized in dismay that it was no other than the fabled Leviathan, come right out of the pages of mythology, alive and terrible. It thrashed its powerful body and Milo knew they could be next in joining the ranks of sunken ships and failed missions at the bottom of this endless blue World. He gazed at the monster and saw for a moment the eye of the beast and it was nothing like he could have imagined.
It was the color of highly polished amber…no it was definitely glass lit from the inside! Milo could see the gears shift and turn, “Jiminy Christmas, it’s a machine!”
(( Getting this back on schedule, as it fell a bit behind in my absence. Next round ends August 23rd. Next post is reserved for Sumdood. ))
Commander Lyle T. Rourke
Machine. Though the commands for attack perched precariously at the tip of his tongue, Rourke paused as he heard the panicked shout from the lobby. He strode out to see for himself.
The scrawny scholar knew what he was talking about. Those glaring eyes held no life, yet contained a terrifying energy that would have chilled a weaker man to the bone. The colossal metal body quadrupled the size of each mothership. They would never be fast enough to outswim it, no matter how many hands Rourke had manning the engines. Grim, the Commander turned on his heel back to the control room, and this time a different set of orders broadcasted from the mouthpiece he spoke into towards the entirety of the Ulyssus Fleet.
"Evacuate the ships. I want every crew member in possession of a gummi ship to take as many passengers as they can handle and follow the runner gummis out. Those with electrical weaponry, concentrate all efforts on stalling the beast until other commands are given. I want no one left on board."
No sooner had he spoken than a group of three small, compact runner gummis sprang from the docks to await those they were to lead towards a safer destination.

Nyra Rei Kaze
"Ravian!" Nyra shouted instinctively as the huge, strange sea monster loomed into view. She turned to him after the commands of Lyle Rourke sounded over the intercom, racking her mind to try to remember how many seats there were in his gummi ship. Surely they'd be able to take at least one other with them to safety, hopefully two. The new series of events were happening so quickly there was practically no time for fright, only action.
Spinning back to face Audrey, Nyra looked at her for a moment before grabbing the latina's wrist. "You're coming with us, aren't you? Ravian's gummi has thunder cannons. We can help hold the thing off for a bit. Then we can get out with the rest."
Her heart twanged sharply as she locked eyes with the mechanic. So soon after the destruction of the Twilight mothership, and now they were forced to flee the rest. It's not your fault, there's nothing you can do - Nyra longed to say something. But she held her tongue.

The Leviathan charged the ships, deadly claws ready to tear the intruders apart. It rocketed forwards so fast, the crew of the fleet had barely begun their evacuation before it struck the Radiant Garden ship. It was a light blow, intended to turn intruders away, rather than kill. However, it still tore the rear of the ship open, sending water in and pulling drowning humans out. The huge mechanical beast swerved in the water, heading for the other ship when it saw no signs of the intruders leaving.
A soft glow emanated from it's mechanical mandibles and, in a spectacular display of power, sent a powerful, destructive beam of energy into the other, undamaged ship. The Leviathan's targeting algorithms had been off at the time, and so it was a glancing blow to the second ship. It still, however, tore open the side, pouring water into that one just as quickly as the first....

(Twilight Town Mothership)
Max cursed as he felt a massive tremor shake the ship, which had caught him off guard and nearly knocked him over. He regained steady footing, however, and began to all-out sprint for the gummi ship bay. It took him several minutes of fighting the crowds in the corridors, he managed to reach the gummi ships and hopped aboard his. Before he disappeared inside, he screamed out for anyone who needed a ride to hop on his ship. Then, without waitingfor anyone to voice their taking him up on the offer, he dashed inside to the pilot's seat, and began starting the ship up. It didn't seem like they would have much time....

(Radiant Garden Mothership)
As alarms blared and explosions rocked the hull of the ship, Lumaria ran towards the gummi bays, hoping to find someone to ride with. As he did, he potted Nyra, Ravian, and the engineer girl together, near Ravian's ship. He dashed up to them, panting hard from the exertion.
"Hey," he said, breathing heavily, using his control of sound to make his voice,"you guys have room for one more?"
OOC: remember, Lumaria is known as Jacob on the expedition to everyone else. Lol
"Evacuate the ships." That was never good, he wondered what was attacking them and why only the ships with electrical weapons were attacking this....thing. Which he still didn't know anything about. But it was apparently dangerous and big enough to take down both ships.....in the water....he cursed his luck but didn't discharge. Even knowing that water mitt flood the area any second, he would save it for the gummi ship, he wanted every advantage possible against this new enemy.
"Ravian!" Nyra? Why was she, oh right he was her ride for now. He jogged over to her "We've gotta hurry and get to my ship. She can come if she wants....I guess." he said motioning towards the Latina girl near her. "If she really wants to be in one of the attacking ships. It might get rou-" he stopped as the monster passed by their observation deck, suddenly wishing that he didn't want to know about this creature.....or machine. It seemed to be some sort of mix in-between the two. But it was big, bigger than the ships. He hadn't thought it would be possible to outsize these things. But he also hadn't thought there would be heartless here.
He looked back to Nyra with a nervous smile "actually, are you sure you don't want to get on one of the escape ships?" he said seeing her reaction to seeing the girl's reaction to the....machine...thing. He wouldn't blame her for taking the easy way out. It was an intimidating form.
It was then that Jacob walked up to them and asked for a ride "my ship only has 3 seats so you'll need to either sit on the ground, share with someone or find another ride" He began to walk backwards towards the hangar. "Either way we've got to go to the hangar" he then began to run off, making his way to his ship, when the leviathan struck the ship. As the ship lurched he was slammed into a wall falling to his knees though quickly getting back up. "Who bets the ship is already sinking" he said annoyedly. Before entering the hangar.

Sweet listened to Commander Rourke speak. Evacuate oh this beast must be quite fierce if it was going to force the team to retreat from the Motherships He then started running to wards the hanger. In there it just hit Sweet, he didn't have a gummi ship.
"Dang," he told himself but then he remembered what the captain said if he didn't have a gummi ship others were to take passengers if they had the room.
Sweet looked around for any ship with a spot open for him. This trip really wasn't what he was expecting. Sure he thought they were going to face some form of danger but a giant black beast in space and now this new threat that is capable of destroying a mothership. But Sweet shook his head and continued to look for any open ship.

Evacuate! Right! Milo turned to run but found himself coming in a complete circle. Which way was to the gummi ships? What was the evacuation plan exactly? Where? Go where?!
People seemed to be fleeing in a general direction and he decided it was good enough for him. His heart hammered in his chest and sweat beaded on his forehead. They were so fragile. So vulnerable. Something told him they weren't all going to make it out alive today.

Rose grabbed one of the nearby people, and snapped her fingers. Halen jumped out of her shadow, and grabbed ahold of another. "Alright, we are getting THE FUCK out. Move, people!" She turned, and ran, charging towards the Gummi bay. Then she had a better idea. She pointed.
Halen grabbed someone. He didn't know who. Never had been good with names. He pushed them in Rose's direction. She had already started running when he recieved the command to open a portal to the bay. He snaped his fingers, and the portal opened.
Rose stopped before running through. "Everybody through here! We'll keep it open as long as possible!" She then jumped through, and Halen made sure those two people followed as well, before diving in himself.
On the other side, Rose turned to Halen. "You keep that portal open as long as you can, then come straight to me, okay?" The Heartless nodded, and turned to the portal, exerting his formidable powers on keeping it open, and making sure it could support lots of people.

[Traverse Town Mothership]
It has been a long and bumpy ride just to finally reach the sapphire planet called Atlantis. There was nothing but gruntwork from the very beginning including finding the sheperd's book in the chilled mountains. Their expedition had led them throughout space, a rugged astroid belt that cost them time and resources, and pesky iritatants called heartless. Helga wondered if she knew all of the chaos that was insured through this trip would she still take it. But who can really compare headaches, migranes, wounds, bruises, and losses to the big motherload? With a strong motivation, Helga Sinclair endured it all and still ran her ship and crew with a stern iron fist.
She was able to keep her cool through the Dark Predator attack, and with a smirk on her face, she openly welcomed anymore suprises; they hadn't stopped her then, and they sure as hell won't stop her now. With her crew smaller from before, she kept her eyes keen on the grand scheme; they still needed forces when they finally land, "Alright boys let's proceed..."
The sonar system was up and running; if she recalled correctly, there was a specific land structure they must reach, an air pocket. First they must find their way to it, and THEN they'll be at this lost world, the crowned jewel, Atlantis. The ship followed suit with the others; all was well until a large approaching object was target.
"Captain, you may want to see this," her eyes snapped from her pondering, and her head twisted sharply causing her braid to hit her cheek. She didn't need a second invitation once hearing the accelerated beeping emitting from the sona's speakers. "It-it's really big captain. Do you think it's...that thing again?"
At the moment, Helga really didn't care if they were going to intercept the Dark Predator again; it had already struck a low blow to them, and they surely didn't need another attack like that one. She even doubted that the engineers could've repaired some of the gummis in such haste in time for another on-slaught. Looking at the size of the bloody thing, she felt a chill with a foreboding sense that this was far more troublesome than the heartless they faced. Regardless she couldn't leave her crew in the dark as danger and possibly death was creeping at them...again, "Sound the alarm."
Red lights flashed throughout the mothership, and the noise rang and vibrated against the metal walls. Helga was already on her toes to reach for the closest radio to contact the other ships, but her fingers stilled once seeing it. It was dark and obsidian giant mechanical lobster swimming towards the Radiant Garden's ship. It's been struck with a formidable damage, "EVERYONE HEAD FOR THE GUMMI'S NOW!"
Boots clamped against the floor in a frenzied panic heading towards the smaller ship for escape. It wouldn't be long before this ship and the other to be attacked as well like sitting ducks surrounded by gators. Helga had to squirm and push pass people, and on her way she found him.
"You," her voice was crystal cut as she reached out to grab Milo, "coming with me!"
He was a valuable assessment to this entire operation, and she would be damned if he didn't get in a gummiship, or treaded to far from her and get himself killed. With her anxiety and rushing adrenaline, she could've nearly threw the boy into the closest opened gummi she can find.
"Whoahh!" Milo's stomach lurched as he was practically flung to safety. If he hadn't already thrown up all the food he had eaten back in the previous World, he would have been heaving right now. And beans, bacon, whiskey and lard were NOT the four food groups he would recommend throwing up, no matter what Cookie said about their nutrition value.
Instead, he was being dragged like a glasses-toting rag doll, by a woman whom he suspected could have easily beat him up in a fist fight. No, he took that back. She could probably beat him up with that glare of hers. But there was little time to think about that as the sirens blared and the rush of panicking crew members plugged his senses.
