In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

This place was also so familiar it always had that relaxing feel...the one that gave u hope of a better tomorrow....that kept u from harm, that brought back several good memories. Such things people cherished and held onto....however not al memories of thsi place were of joy.
As the mansion stood as proudly as it always has....it recieved a long forgotten visitor, strange that it would be under these circumstances. The grass remained undisturbed as always....until they were suddenly spread apart by a foreign wind. A few seconds later a dark circular rod of darkness started to form, within a few moments it burst open revealing a rather large male covered in a tattered coat with a peculiar weapon in his hand.
The man landed slowly one knee as if bowing to the building in front of him. Slowly standing up, the male examined his surroundings to see if anyone was present...any lurker could easily the the strange pale skin and silver glow of his eyes as he looked around.
Once the being was sure that none were around he simply allowed a soft sigh to escape his lips. Afterwards his intimidating look vanished leaving him weaponless and in a completely new civillan outfit of white and red. He could easily be mistaken for teen if he wasnt nearly a giant in height. '
Caxnon took one look at the building then stepped over to push the gate open.
'' Funny.....it feels like....home. '' he stated as he pushed.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "STOPLIGHT, LOCK THE DOOR"
Damn it, there's someone else in here. A single ray of sunlight filled the foyer as the doors were pushed open, the creaking sound echoing across the lobby. These disturbances were more than enough to let her know she was not alone. Frankly, she hadn't expected anyone to take a stroll around the Old Mansion, one of the most ancient buildings in the whole town; it was pretty much abandoned and quite the object of local urban stories. Some of the townsfolk even claimed it was haunted, but the mercenary believes this infamous status was nothing more than an attempt to keep children away.
This time, Nadia Verdansky was working for a rather unusual client: young, normal-looking, knowing certain information that such types of people wouldn't usually know. But who was she to judge? After all, her employer had promised her several valuable items and that was good enough for the mercenary... at least for the time being. If the data she had been instructed to extract turned out to be even more valuable, well... let's just say she would need an extra bonus or two in her payment.
But now, the huntress would have to deal with the unexpected visitor. Hopefully he would just be passing by, without any plans to hang around for long. Sure Nadia worked well under pressure, but having your main exit blocked is not exactly a factor you would like to have. Before the newcomer even got a chance to step inside the building, the mercenary had already raced up the stairs, crouching beside the library's door to analyze and observe.
So, he was a male.
Fun, fun, fun. Let's see what you are up to, little plaything...
( Ah damn it i swear i posted but the net must have disconnected urgh)
The old building was just as tranquil as he remembered it, and as expected it hasn't recieved many visitors. As the male stepped in he could tell that something about it was a bit off. The main exit was closed sure...but something told him to be cautious.
Caxnon shrugged off the thought it was probably just old memories of this place trying to mess with him, that happened quite often these days. However, he was also known for being extremely paranoid. The nobody turned towards the exit and lightly touched it with his hand. Instantly a rock solid ice wall formed blocking anyone from leaving or entering the manor. If the wall were to be disturbed the sound would alert him quickly, just to be on the safe side Caxnon added a tiny feature to the wall anyone who decided to touch it, would have to deal with the tiny ice shards that were present.
These were harmless of course that is until they entered a person's blood stream, his ice never melted easily anyway. Once his little insurance was complete he proceeded to move towards the stairs. He could feel nor hear any wind therefore all windows were closed...and weather the room had gotten colder was of no concern to him...he walk shirtless in a blizzard and have nothing to worry about.
It was still strange though he could have sworn that he was being watched. '' I should really get myself a gun'' Caxnon thought as he slowly climbed the stairs/ The blond stopped right in the middle of the stair case so he could see it from all angles. He then raised his fist and slowly started counting with his fingers.
'' Five seconds until i begin my search..'' he said and soon began counting.
If there was no answer then he'd remember to take some medication pills...otherwise...his deduction skill were still working perfectly.
But, unfortunately for Caxnon, she was one step ahead.
She was always one step ahead.
Nadia certainly wasn't bluffing when she went around telling everyone how great of a bounty hunter she was. Sure, she probably wasn't the best out there (she had found herself outsmarted several times, but that is another story) but she knew what she was doing. Back at the Smuggler's Moon, she had placed among the top five mercenaries during the Great Hunt, the biggest treasure hunt and hunter challenge in that part of the universe, and it certainly hadn't been just pure luck.
From the age of fourteen, Verdansky had received training from her adoptive father, Jolak, who taught her everything she needed to know about hunting. From how to shoot a gun to deactivate a whole mine field in less than a minute, Nadia had learned it all from her mentor and she was definitely grateful for it. Many of those skills had saved her life more than once, after all, specially when she ended up competing against other hunters for a juicy bounty prize.
And now, even though she didn't seem to have any opposition, the presence of this man complicated things a bit. She had expected to have more time to do her job, perhaps even create another copy of the information she needed to extract for her to read later or go around the mansion in search of any valuables left behind. But now, well... she'd have to hurry and get the hell out of the building as soon as possible; luckily she still had that smoke grenade with her.
As soon as the mysterious man turned around and started to freeze the door, Nadia figured out that messing with that one would be unwise. Her huntress instincts immediately led her to open the door beside her, not making a single sound as she stepped inside while the newcomer was distracted. By the time Caxnon had even started heading for the staircase, the door had been locked and little to no sound had been emitted.
He seemed to notice another's presence... probably hers.
Turning around, Verdansky noticed that the riddle her client had talked about had already been solved by someone else and the path to the basement was just there, waiting for her to step in. Oh well, this did buy her some time. Nadia noticed that the stairs' were made of a metallic material, and concluded to take off her boots before heading downstairs to avoid any major commotion.
And, like a mere ghost, she quickly went down and stepped into the next room.
