In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

That was the first thought that went through Shudin's head as he arrived in Traverse Town. It was a true statement, though, as Shudin had left the world a few years ago for his home. By the looks of it, things had changed.
What's happened to this place? Snow covered the ground and rooftops... While icicles hung from the lamposts and other surfaces. Shudin could see his own breath in the cold air. During his years of refuge here as a child, he had never seen snow in Traverse Town. "Well, that explains why it looked different." he said, thinking out loud.
Shudin had been able to hitch a ride on a Gummi Ship, thanks to an acquantance he'd met. Originally, Shudin had no plans to return to Traverse Town, but when he saw that it looked different from above, he changed his mind, and asked to be let off. There was some hope in the young man that maybe with this change to the town, there'd be a different outcome in his search for his sister.
Shudin then realized he was shivering. He headed for the clothing shop, and purchased a warm, navy blue coat, which he put on after going back outside. "Much better.." he said, as he leaned against a wall, and tried to decide where to start his search.

((I have clearance to post here, non?))
Curran had lived in Traverse Town for several years, and it was only recently that such a cold wave swept the world. As she had no definite place to live at the moment, the little girl took refuge under the awning in the First District. Then again, why would she live anywhere else in this world?
She saw a man talking talking to himself, it seemed... She hadn't seen him in her years in Traverse Town. Even though it probably was a coincidence, she decided to stay away. She didn't know who this guy was, why he was just.... standing there, or what he was here for. Feeling intimidated, unsure, just a big bundle of emotions, she peeked over the edge of a pillar, her head illuminated by a magical, ever-shining candle behind her.
