In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Bats flew overhead, as the glowing moon hung in the night sky. The air was still, but there was still a chill in the night. On the outskirts of Halloween Town was none other than, the nastiest scare of Halloween Town, Oogie Boogie. He was out causing mischief to all the poor inhabitants of Halloween Town.
"Well looky here," Oogie said picking a rat that was by it's tail. Oogie let out large laugh before dropping the poor creature down his gullet.
Oogie then continued to walk along the outskirts of Halloween Town. He wasn't real sure if he was going to find anybody, but it was worth a try. A few bats chattered above Oogie, before he shooed them.
"Darn Vermin," he said still walking.

N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "PERFECT BY NATURE, ICONS OF SELF INDULGENCE"
((God, I love your Oogie XDD))
Those goddamned wings.
As she felt the chilly wind on her cheeks, Nadia couldn't help shivering in that moment of weakness. Sure, she remained clueless on the world's peculiar magic but the huntress was certain of one tiny, little thing: she hated it. As soon as she had stepped out of that Gummi Ship (yes, she was still hitchhiking when she needed to go somewhere), a strange feeling began to make itself known throughout her body and, before she knew it, she had this hideous pair of wings flapping in her back. Oh well, at least the long black dress she now wore (part of the magic, apparently) was alright, though slightly ripped and definitely restricting her movements.
Now she could just hope that she didn't get surrounded, or she'd be forced to run naked across the town.
Strange... there's no one out here... The mercenary walked through the streets of Halloween Town, glancing around but failing to catch any glimpse of movement. She trembled once again, feeling a horrible chill run up her spine as her new form's wings remained exposed. Of course, the female had thought about taking advantage of this new body and attempting to fly, but didn't even try upon noticing her wings' size. They weren't exactly what you'd call "big".
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she kept roaming through the town, practically aimlessly until she decided it was enough. Screw directions, she'd just get there on her own. However, as soon as she turned back and started to head toward the town's exit, Verdansky stopped dead on her tracks as an unknown, loud laugh echoed across the town. Was someone else out there? How could she have missed them? But what if...
Not willing to take any chances, she loaded both Opal and Obsidian and continued her march out the town and toward that strange forest...
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "JUST WHAT WE ALL NEED, MORE LIES ABOUT A WORLD THAT"
((I take your compliment to my mouth... It makes a good snack...))
Oogie continued his leisurely stroll for awhile, but after awhile he found no one in sight which made him quite bored. He crossed his arms and noticed someone walking to wards the woods.
"Well well well," Oogie said to himself. It looked like there would be someone to mess with after all. Oogie put on a manic smile before running after the person.
Each step caused the bag of bugs to shake, but after awhile he could see himself closing in. The person seemed to have mini wings and a long dress, but other than that she looked like, what was there names, oh yeah a human.
Once Oogie was within arms length of the person he could tell it was a girl and with a large laugh he said in a singing voice, "Well well well what have we here a girl traveling on the outskirts of Halloween Town, I'm really scared."
Oogie stopped singing, and let out another laugh. "Well miss girly girl what are you doing here?" he asked.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "NEVER WAS AND NEVER WILL BE, HAVE YOU NO SHAME? DON'T YOU SEE ME?"
Talk about creepy.
She hadn't been that far away from town when the bug bag approached her. Normally she wouldn't have minded this strange and obnoxious creature, but Nadia realized that its laugh was identical to the one she had heard before. At least that took care of the mystery but the mercenary still couldn't figure out if it was for better or for worse. She did not turn to look at it; the mere tone of its voice was so repulsive that she didn't even hesitate to raise Obsidian and point it at the creature's face.
At least she knew that she was handling a he.
"Mind your own business, tubby. I have no time to deal with you... and you're boring the shit out of me. So I suggest that you go on your merry way and look for someone else to entertain with your lame circus act if you're not going to be of use to me." Reality hurt and, from her experience, the mercenary could already visualize the two possible outcomes: one, he would run away crying to his mama's arms or two, his irascible being would explode and she'd be forced to shoot his face down to the ground. Dear lord, if she had to clean this mess she would totally demand a bonus on her payment.
Unless...
Perhaps he can be useful to me. After all, a native would know their world like the palm of their hand.
"But, of course, I might be "persuaded" to converse if someone knew how to get to the "Hinterlands"... yet I doubt that would be your case." Was she perhaps overdoing it? Possibly, but a weakness like the one she believed to have found had to be exploited in some form or shape.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "YOU KNOW YOU'VE GOT EVERYBODY FOOLED"
The girl held up what appeared to be a sword straight at Oogie's face. OOgie smiled and raised his hands.
"Oh I'm really scared," he said in a mocking, sarcastic voice.
Oogie let out another hearty laugh as the girl tried to come to a deal with Oogie. Perhaps though this girl could be usefull to Oogie. He hadn't heard from Maleficant in quite awhile so he decided to take the Hellfire Council under his own arm. Perhaps, he could get this girl to be a new member.
"Well miss girly girl I do know where the Hinterlands are, in fact it's just a little ways that way," Oogie said pointing his his pointed arm somewhere to ward the forest.
"But, Girly girl I have somewhere even better you can go to," Oogie said with a large smle on his face.
He pointed his ppointed arm in another direction saying, "Just that way is my humble little tree house go there, and I just make you a deal you can't refuse."
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "LOOK HERE SHE COMES NOW, BOW DOWN AND STARE IN WONDER"
"Yeah... thanks, but no thanks. I have business to take care of; business that's certainly more important than... treehouse tea parties." She spoke, her voice dripping deadly venom as she glanced up at the creature once more. The bounty hunter hadn't needed to think twice before uttering her reply; she certainly hadn't been born yesterday, and his words reeked of nothing but trouble... the kind lonely, horny males were ready to give.
She sighed, lowering her weapon as she turned on her heels; though she had already mentally prepared herself to shoot that thing and whatever lied inside if needed, Verdansky still found herself clutching Obsidian a bit too tightly. After all, she couldn't lower her guard and walk carelessly throughout that world just yet, not with this bag full of bugs roaming around. Sure, she had no idea if he had any talents besides his horrible sense of humor, but that was precisely what kept her in a state of alert. Lacking enough intel on Halloween Town's natives definately placed her in an uncomfortable situation and she didn't want to take any chances.
Offering Oogie Boogie nothing more than a simple, curt nod, Nadia began to walk away, attempting to follow the creature's directions and find her way to the middle of the Hinterlands. According to her employer, she was to find a... peculiar set of trees in the heart of the forest, specifically one with some sort of four-leaved plant image. That would be her first stop, and, as the mysterious man had said, "where things shall get interesting for you".
Talk about lack of information.
But the pay was good, and if this man wanted her to burst into a tree and bring him some goods, the mercenary was willing to do so... unless, of course, her employer was outbidden by someone else.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "OH HOW WE LOVE YOU, NO FLAWS WHEN YOU'RE PRETENDING"
Wha she dear decline my proposition, me the illustrious Oogie Boogie, was the only thing Oogie could think about after the girl finished speaking. He was vaguely aware she put her weapon down, for Oogie was to self-enveloped in his own thought process still complaining about the girl rejected his offer.
Oogie almost didn't notice the girl starting to walk away. Is she trying to ditch me the great Ooogie Boogie, Oogie thought to himself giving a shocked face at the girl.
"Hey girly girl, did I say I was done speaking with you?" Oogie asked stamping his foot and crossing his arms.
"Perhaps I would help you, like the good ole jolly boogieman I am," Oogie said.
Oogie let out one final laugh before starting to sing again.
"Well well well, What have we here, Someone thinking they can go farrrrrrrrrr, without Oogie's help, That's a bad scarrrre, You're jokin you're joking, I can't believe my ears, would someone please shut you up, I'm drowning in my tear, you're funn, I'm laughing, you are really to much, now if you ask nicely I could do my stuff," Oogie sang in his usual jazzy voice all the while dancing aroung the girl, but then turning back into his normal voice.
"What do you say hmm, come to my little tree house, and good ole Oogie will help you out," Oogie said putting a large grin.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "BUT NOW I KNOW SHE NEVER WAS AND NEVER WILL BE"
Good ole jolly boogieman?
Ooh, I'm shaking in my boots. Rolling her eyes, Nadia lightly shook her head, finding herself unable to stop feeling pity for the critter. Seriously, if everyone in Halloween Town was just as pathetic, if not worse than this guy... well... let's just say she would find it curiously hard to stop wondering about the world's survival... or perhaps why the hell that particular world remained standing. Heartless loved hearts, after all, and mentally challenged individuals were certainly one of the easiest kinds of prey they could find. Still, that made her ponder about their eating habits; perhaps smart and educated hearts like her own turned out to be tastier at the end of the day?
But even then she had to admit that the bug bag's offer was slightly tempting, and not in a perverted or sexual sense. The guy seemed smart enough to do some plotting of his own, but dumb enough to get manipulated and tangled by others' plans. Verdansky had met all different kinds of people throughout her past years of hunting and this was what she liked the call "the powerful doofus". Perhaps this guy had someting more useful to offer than mere information to get her job done. Perhaps he had a secret stash full of new kinds of grenades, or an interesting bundle of darts. Perhaps this guy could give her all different sorts of abilities, never even seen before by her rival hunters.
However, everyone had a price and this "Oogie" would certainly not be an exception; he wasn't that much of an idiot. But maybe... just maybe... this guy would ask for a really simple task to be done, like the death of some random citizen that pissed him off or exterminating all the Heartless in a certain area. She took a deep breath; the bounty hunter didn't like it, but she would play along to satisfy her curiosity... at least for now.
"Alright, Oogie Boogie. Make your offer. If I'm interested I'll go and play in your treehouse for a while. Otherwise, you are to leave me alone... or I'll seriously shoot you this time. Oh, and believe me, it will hurt." Nadia looked at him, dark eyes of amethyst staring deep into his own; it was Oogie's time to shine and catch her attention. If he played his cards right, he could probably get what he was after in this case.
The mercenary tapped her foot, awaiting a reply.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW YOU'VE BETRAYED ME, AND SOMEHOW YOU'VE GOT EVERYBODY FOOLED"
"Oh I know it would," Oogie said sarcastically to the girls threat.
"But what I have to other is something real simple girly girl, You see I used to be a part of an organization, but our old leader has gone missing, so I've to put it simply taken over her position," Oogie said with a mischievous smile.
"Now we need some new members, and you seem frightening enough to fit the bill, mostly," Oogie said with a laugh.
"Now girly girl, if you want to join as I said just come to my darling little tree house, and I can promise in time you will not regret your decision," Oogie said putting his foot down on a rat trying to run by him.
Oogie scooped up the rat and ate it whole. The poor creature could only let out a small cry before entering the gullet of Oogie.
"Tasty," Oogie said wiping off his hands.
"Now as I was saying my group is now recruiting, and you seem... dangerous enough for the job, what would you get. well what would you want, that is the real question?" Oogie said now going back to his crossed arm pose.
Oogie was close to striking a deal. He knew it. He was good with this..... well maybe sometimes, either way his efforts would boost the Hellfire Council's numbers, which was always a good thing. Now after his recruitment of girly girl, which he was confident he would do, he would conquer Halloween Town, and become the new king of Halloween, or so he hoped.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "WITHOUT THE MASK, WHERE WILL YOU HIDE?"
So he wasn't only a stalker and a child molester. Oh no, he was also a filthy little backstabber, betraying his superior by taking over her domains. How nice; this was getting better and better as time went by and it wouldn't be long before Nadia randomly burst into laughter. She was seriously trying to contain the annoyance which had spontaneously transformed into amusement, and she was struggling hard.
However, she had to admit that the bug bag's offer was, in fact, quite tempting. As dimwitted as he was, Oogie Boogie had to have a neat list of villain contacts she could use for her own benefits; being Halloween Town's bad guy had to have a bright side or at least a couple of advantages, right? Verdansky pondered, wondering if she should bite or not. After all, this could also turn out to be a nasty bait to reel her into that disgusting mouth of his. But if all of it turned out to be true...
"Congratulations, Oogie Boogie. You have finally said something interesting and caught my eye." Nadia spoke, flashing him a smile before glancing around. The street was deserted, empty as before. Halloween Town's citizens were probably hiding within their homes, terrified by the boogeyman outside. Still, precautions needed to be taken and she didn't trust the villain's wits enough to leave it all up to him. "Ok, so let's go to your "darling little tree house" of hope and wonder... and rape. We'll talk payment there."
Gesturing a hand for him to lead the way, the huntress followed closely, Obsidian still within reach. She was definitely interesting in joining this organization but she felt as if Oogie had left a few details out in purpose. To start off, what was their purpose? Why did they even exist? What did they seek to accomplish by gathering a bunch of badasses and bitch their way through the universe? Also, if she was to claim her reward she had to be aware of the group's funding limits. Where was the gigantic pile of treasure she could snag?
There was also the fact that Oogie Boogie probably wasn't the most powerful nor the most capable member of the group. She'd play along with the bug bag for now, but once a better party emerged... well, she would stand closer to such individual. Oh no, she wasn't backstabbing the boogeyman; Nadia would still do his dirty work now and then to keep everyone happy. However, if factions started to emerge within the organization she would need to play smart and save her own ass.
Nadia Verdansky certainly wasn't going to be everybody's fool.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "I CAN'T FIND YOURSELF, LOST IN YOUR LIE"
((trying to think how best to get nadia in the meeting from this topic))
Oogie grinned, and as usual let out a hearty laugh. He knew he would get to the girl sooner or later, he always did, and if he didn't he could always BUGger off, but this wasn't the case now nor would it be for while hopefully. Now though, Oogie was one step closer to being the Seven-Holiday King then after that the council could start laying claim to more and more worlds, and with the help of the heartless, things would be made alot easier. Actually the thought of all this made Oogie very happy indeed, but then again it would make anyone happy.
Now Oogie was rambling in his own thoughts, and he needed to get the girl back to the tree house. Though one good thing about Halloween Town was that even at night the moon was so bright you could still see well.
"Follow me," Oogie said now heading towards the tree house. The tree house wasn't to far away from there current location only like a five or so minute walk. Oogie would have to inform the girl though of all the various traps armed around the Tree house otherwise things would end in an unhappy state, because believe it or not bear traps hurt if you get caught in one. Oogie knew that from experience.
Oogie assumed the girl was following him, because he was starting to see the tree house now. Yeah it would be hard to miss the tree house seeing as how large it was, though it was in a hole and that never helps something be seen, unless the people you want to see it are a bunch of moles, which is usually not the case.
"Almost there girly girl," Oogie said looking ahead of him at the tree house now getting closer and closer until it was a giant mass compared to Oogie and Nadia.
"Home sweet home," Oogie said looking up at his beautiful structure. Well it wasn't really that beautiful, but hey it was massive, and That's what counts. Now it was about time for Oogie to call all the other Hellfire members, for the time was near.
"I'd watch my step if I were you girly girl," Oogie said, "I have a few toys set up all on the tree house, and it would be a terrible shame to see one go off on you."
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "I KNOW THE TRUTH NOW, I KNOW WHO YOU ARE"
((He could have her wait around the treehouse for a while and then he would have gone to summon Cloud of Darkness. Nadia would eventually get desperate and storm into that room. But if you have any other ideas, let's use them.))
Letting a soft sigh escape her lips, the mercenary trotted away from the Hinterlands, heading toward another of the graveyard's exits. She turned her head back and glanced at the forest for a moment; it seemed like her own mission would be postponed for a while... for as long as she talked to Oogie anyway. Maybe this wasn't such a bad thing after all, as the villain could possibly know a couple of fun facts about her destination. And like Jolak always said, "first thing you need to know about bounty hunting: get as much information as you can, it can save your life".
It wasn't more than a couple of minutes after leaving the graveyard when they reached their next stop: Moonlight Hill. It certainly was a... curious looking structure; Nadia didn't really know what to say about it besides that. It was then that realization suddenly hit her: they had yet to see even one Heartless and that was quite strange in a world as dark as Halloween Town. She had expected to be fighting hordes of them on their way to the tree house, and yet... well, nothing had popped up. Something was certainly amiss.
Managing to shrug her worries off for a moment, Verdansky continued to follow the boogeyman, this time up the hill. However, it wasn't long before she noticed that th3 road was nothing but a dead end; the hill abruptly terminated and didn't seem to lead anywhere. Raising an eyebrow, she parted her lips to say something about it... when it suddenly "uncurled", connecting the hill to a nearby cliff. The pathway was narrow, but it was a pathway nonetheless. Taking a deep breath, the woman proceeded to step on what seemed to be unreliable terrain, fortunately reaching the other side before the hill's end decided it was time to curl away.
'Okay... the sooner I get out of here, the better.'
And just when the huntress had started to believe that things couldn't get freakier in the world of Halloween, she saw it. The term "tree house" was certainly an understatement; that thing was massive. Mouth ajar in awe, Nadia admired the overall complexity of the building. That thing was certainly no castle of dreams but it was quite the fine base. Easy to find? Sure. Easy to penetrate? Unlikely.
Nadia followed the bug bag through the wooden bridge, slightly unnerved by its apparent fragility. She was seriously trying not to fall into the depths below through one of those gigantic holes and fortunately all those years of training kept her safe and in her toes. Now she could see why she wanted Oogie as an ally and not as an enemy.
But she certainly wasn't an idiot.
"Mhm... I can see that quite clearly. After you, mister boogeyman." Indeed, she didn't want any of these "toys" blowing up on her face.
N A D I A V E R D A N S K Y "AND I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE"
((Hmm That'll work so you'll just post in the meeting after this as if it was your next post on here and this would be the last post on this topic. Sorry if this post is short can't really think of anything >_<))
"Nice to see someone around here has good manners," Oogie said, Of course were Oogie was going to take the girl was to the casino room of course. That's where he planned on calling all the Hellfire members, so what A better place to bring the newest member.
"Well then come this way," Oogie said ascending the tree house and going around until he finally reached the green door that looked like his truly.
"Here we are my personal favorite room, now though I actually have to do stuff in here, before you come in, so just sit out here and do something like torment bats or something, I'll come back out when you can enter," Oogie said, though most likely he would forget all about Nadia, doing whatever he was going to do, but who's to blame him. He is the Boogeyman after all. He does what he wants when he wants to.
So the Boogeyman opened up the door, and walked inside were he started to prepare for the Hellfire meeting, and of course send out the heartless messenger to call the members.
