In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It was a normal (which was a matter of perspective) day in the world of Wonderland. The Queen's guards ran after the random creatures she requested to be beheaded, the oddities followed their daily routines and completed unproductive tasks. However, the card soldiers that encountered the world's newest oddity were barely prepared for what the came across.
It appeared as if a small tear had appeared in the air, slowly expanding until it was the size of a doorway. A man in a cloak with a katana on his waist steppe dthrough it, looking around before noticing the card soldiers.
"Let's go, the portal's suffering interference!"
As the man struggled to hold the failing portal, he looked and saw the cards drawing their spears, and released the portal with a snap as his allies burst through it. Then, his katana unsheathed, he faced the soldiers, who he noticed looked...hesitant.
He took a step forward with katana extended, and smiled as the cards threw their weapons in the air and ran away, screaming in fear. He smiled and resheathed his katana in the pocket of darkness it resided in, then motioned towards the castle in the distance.
"So, do we go there or somewhere else?"

Skell could hardly take it in from the near-crash landing she had on the grass from exiting that portal in a hurry. In addition to the rush, the moment she stepped out the first thing she saw was an army of cards with spears pointed at them. The site was both threatening and invigorating! Realizing that she should probably be prepared for a fight, she clumsily felt around her pack and coat for her paintbrush, then realizing that it would be better to use fire on cards. Yet, as soon as she was ready, Arthas had scared the lot off.
She has proven to be such a great help right now.
"Good work there, Arthas," she began, eyes immediately taking in the growing environment as the cards took less and less of its space.
It was... absolutely beautiful.
Skell absentmindedly took hold of the little boy's hand beside her as she turned on spot, admiring the vibrant colors and horribly clashing combinations. It looked like an abstract acrylic painting, to a point. A scene someone pulled from a dream.
"Where... should we go?"

R I C A R D U S D A R ' N A L A "I AM CHANGING, TRYING EVERY WAY I CAN"
Another world, another adventure.
It was exciting yet terrifying at the same time, and Ricardus seriously didn't know what to think anymore. A few hours ago he had been wandering aimlessly throughout Twilight Town's warm and soothing suburbs, but now there was just... grass. Grass and more grass. His face remained plain, serious, certainly not showing any emotion related to the inner conflict ongoing within his mind. He plucked a single strand of red hair behind his ear as he glanced around, reminiscing recent events... and what he could recall of past ones by now.
After "borrowing" that spell book from the library's forbidden section (not like they'd miss it anyway as it was hardly read, or at least that was what Ricardus had told himself to shake off the guilt coming with the crime), the boy had seeked the other two and they had all exited the building as soon as their business had been dealt with. The trio decided to call it a day and parted ways, promising to meet again in the morning. But as soon as he had woken up from a deep slumber, the young teenager found himself with a new hairstyle... and a new hair dye color applied on his head.
He had been certain that all of it hadn't been part of some strange dream sequence he was having, but now... he wasn't so sure.
Ricardus, of course, has been asked about the sudden makeover but he had merely brushed off the queries, calling it "a new appearance for a new adventure". He was surprisingly quite a good liar, another thing he had just relearned about himself... and he wasn't sure if he was happy to know about it. But anyway, that wasn't the time to undergo any guilt trips. They had to find some information about this new place before they were threatened again by more... card soldiers and their spears.
Suddenly, he found his hand grasped by the older girl beside him, a red taint flushing his face. The boy wasn't sure if he was nervous or just plain embarrassed; not that he found holding hands uncomfortable, but still: he was old enough to, you know, be able to walk on his own without wandering off.
"Well, I don't know... it's your call, I guess. Going there might not be the brightest idea though; the soldiers didn't exactly give us the warmest of welcomes and they certainly won't forget the "group that appeared out of nowhere" anytime soon." he spoke, attempting to shrug off what had happened. The last thing he wanted right now was to find himself unwelcome in this new place, meet a heartless queen and have his very own head roll on the ground.
