Powers:Asterokinesis - Ariana draws her powers from stars/Sun far above. The only way to seal her power is to seal her - completely envelop her - in an unbroken sphere of psychic energy or the likes, breaking her connection with the skies up there. Which essentially renders her helpless. Being indoors or worlds where the Sun nor Stars (For example..Atlantica?) turns her into a floppy as well.
Astral Blast - A short ranged blast of astral energy. Low damage, 2 post cooldown.
Starfall - Calls down a wave of purple orbs that contain the energy of stars in a target area. Enemies are smacked for moderate damage. Damage reduced by Shell. 5 post cooldown.
Nova - Emits a circle wave of astral energy from herself that spreads out for approximately 4 meters. Deals low damage to enemies affected. Damage reduced by Shell. 5 post cooldown.
Stellar Wind - Ariana exudes her energy to heal those around her. Heals anything touching her/she is touching by a moderate amount. Sets a 8 post cooldown on all skills. Heal reduced by Shell.
Solar Flare - The nearest stars pinpoint their energy on Ariana, allowing her to unleash a powerful beam that incinerates the enemy if he is close by, dealing heavy damage. The further the enemy is, the less the damage - at the longest (6 meters) the ray does low damage. Twice per thread, sets a 10 post cooldown on all skills.
Weapon: PhantasmWhen not in use, Phantasm appears to be an innocent blue aster flower in her hair. When removed and focused on with her powers, Phantasm transforms into a harp. The transformation process barely takes a second. It settles on the ground if she is sitting but seemingly hovers in the air before her if she stands. Damage sustained by the harp is instead taken by Ariana.
Her attacks (Plucking the strings) send a small bolt of energy that deals rather weak damage. (Think of wet clothes slapping you in the face) She can exert enough energies to shoot three bolts per post.
Picture: Appearance: Ariana wears a long, blue dress that reaches to her feet and drags behind her as she walks. It is rather glittery and seems to emit the lightest of glows. The sleeves are long then her arms, and she tends to have to pull them back before fighting. She wears a necklace with a small blue jewel.
Her silky, smooth hair hangs all the way to her waist, and any stray strands of hair is tucked neatly behind her ears. Her eyes, too, are blue, and she has the gentle looks and airs of a mature teenager. The right side of her hair is a large blue aster flower, Phantasm.
Personality: She is mostly polite, kind and formal to strangers, but amongst friends and family she loosens and takes on a more playful manner. Intelligent and considerate, she tends to put others safety before hers, capable of being more stubborn then a thousand pack of mules if need be.
She seldom fights unless pushed into it or forced to, but certainly holds nothing back when she fights. As most of her skills are...highly destructive to public objects, she dislikes fighting in narrow spaces and such. She can be rather caustic when she loses her temper, but that doesn't happen very often.
She is quick thinking (But sadly, not very quick moving) and plays the role of strategy better then taking the front lines like a brute. Perhaps the biggest irritation of her personality is the incapability to turn down a person in need of help...in dire straits, that is. She isn't very easily fooled, and can easily turn a blind eye to those seeking to take advantage of her. She is mostly benevolent and pacifistic though.
Original World: Ganymedes
Current World: Traverse Town
Video Game:History: Far off in the universe was a world with untold power untapped. Ganymedes was a treasure hoard of siphonable energy, and that took the form of two fountains at the top and bottom of the world that continuously spouted energy.
Ariana was born while Ganymedes was still peaceful. People mostly lived in harmony, but the energy that fell back to the ground often conjoined into annoying, uppity creatures that would like nothing more then to rudely expose your innards.
Most conveniently, the people of Ganymedes (Ganymedians?) were more then capable of utilizing psionic ability, granting them the ability to use kinesis skills of different sorts. Coincidentally, both Ariana's parents wielded Asterokinesis - using the practically limitless energy that came from the stars. Ariana inherited this which became the focal point of her prowess.
Defending oneself was vital if you wanted to walk out of the town without risking evisceration. Therefore, Ariana's parents, being skilled mages themselves taught her everything she knew to this day.
At 10, Ariana and her family realized she made a dang good harpist during one music class. Her mother had one of her "genius" ideas and persuaded Ariana and her father to use a harp as a weapon.
Their reactions, expectedly were are you out of your freaking mind. However, Ariana found herself incapable of using most weapons - swords, blades, axes and other pointy or sharp things were either too heavy or she was not willing to wield. Her aiming with guns and bows as terrible.
Finally, they conceded and decided to give it a try. Getting a normal harp and letting it fuse with Ariana with her parent's help, she found that instead of smashing the harp or creature's skulls or strangling them with the strings, she could shoot bolts that weren't that painful but certainly did the trick over time.
Then, the Heartless came. Eating away at towns and cities and villages, the world was set into a frenzied panic, crime and corruption started to grow and foster. Finally, the world was torn between people wanting to steal the world's energy for themselves, to use the world's energy to wipe out the Heartless or to just steal the world's energy..and probably do something with it.
Ariana continued serenely practicing her skill, because her town had decided to stand and try and fight against the onslaught.
They never had the chance. Massive amounts of morons had congregated at the fountains and all of them tried hightailing with the energy at once. The world couldn't handle it and was literally torn asunder. The world warped and twisted at once, and people were sent flying through space and time.
Ariana recalled humming and playing her harp before a flash of blue dropped her into the dirty alleys of Traverse Town. Leaving her really quite confused.
