In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Powers: As of starting out, she has but one ability that she barely has control over. She simply calls it her sixth sense, although it's very weak. On its own, it will only warn her of immediate oncoming dangers, with barely enough time to react (assuming she does know how to react). If she concentrates, she will be able to at least know what is beyond the corner. Anymore than that will require very heavy concentration, and it may not succeed. Also important to note, until she can get better with it, anything involving heavy concentration can usually leave her very worn out. The heavier the concentration, the more tired she will be afterward.
Weapon: She is currently untrained in the art of combat, but if someone is willing to teach her, she will be very willing to learn.

Appearance: Morgan has a preference for wearing baggy clothing, especially hoodies. She likes to wear her hoodie up, often and a lot. Because of this, it is usually very difficult to see her facial features or even if she is a girl or not. When her hoodie is off, it reveals straight red hair up to her shoulders, usually in a way that allows her to hide her face. When not hiding her face in any way, shape, or form, one can see that she has white skin, a few freckles here and there, and light blue eyes. She is not a very tall girl, standing at about only five feet and two inches in height, and despite her baggy clothing, she is actually of average weight, leaning toward the skinny side. (forgive me, I was never good at giving exact measurements in weight). She does wear lots of t-shirts, ranging from simple to dull to very colorful, but she can always be found with the same navy blue hoodie, decorated with a single spider on the back. Lastly, just for the sake of keeping with details, she wears black socks and walks about in white and blue sneakers.
Personality: Morgan is an incredibly shy girl. She actually is very afraid of meeting new people, because she is fearful that they will either reject the part of her that is the real her, or worse, make fun of her. Too afraid to confront this aspect of herself, she takes to hiding. Should she find herself having to be in public, she will have her hoodie up in hopes of hiding her face. If she does something that she deems embarrassing, she will have her hoodie up. In other words, it is very difficult to catch her with her hoodie down.
Normally, around strangers and new people, she will speak as little as possible, giving as little information about herself as she can. Those who are able to get her out of her shell, however, will find a very unusual and quirky fan girl. An avid lover of books, comic books, and video games, it is very easy for her to run off her mouth about any of these three topics, and she will often express wishing or desiring to have powers and abilities like her heroes. Don’t try to get her to talk about her one super power if it is noticed, however, for she’ll immediately deny its existence or claim to have no awareness of it. Despite her extreme shyness and her unique fan girl quirkiness, she is a simple, fun loving, and sometimes sarcastic girl, usually making quips if it seems appropriate to her.
There is one a very easy way to get her out of her shell, though it will only serve to hinder her ability to overcome her shyness in the long run. All she needs is a mask. As long as she has a mask on, she’ll have no fear of what others think of her, since it is the mask that will be marked and not her. An optimist to the very end, she hopes one day to finally let go of her shyness and let everyone see the real her deep down inside, without fear of how people will react.
Original World: Twilight Town Current World: Twilight Town
History: There isn’t really much about this girl for a good chunk of her life. Born and raised most of her life in the suburbs, she had quite a bit of trouble fitting in with others. It did not take her long in her early life to discover books, in which she would immerse herself in on a daily basis. As a young child, about age four, she read all kinds of books, starting with children’s books, then picking up comic books a year later, and eventually working her way up to the more challenging novels and fantasies by about age seven. She discovered video games when she was six years old, and found that her favorite kinds of video games are role playing games and most action/adventure games. These stories and games, filled to the brim with heroes saving the world, has made her envy and wish she could have an adventure of her own, storming castles of evil wizards and saving princesses in captivity. This extreme fondness of these stories and games, however, has also caused her to be rather out of touch with society. She quickly found out how difficult it was to relate to most of the other children in twilight town, particularly due to the fact that she had almost no interest in heading outside. This difficulty in relating to others as a child made it difficult for her to make friends.
It was around age nine that sealed her shy fate. She finally worked up the courage to try heading out and spending time with the outside world. Having almost no judge of character, she made the unfortunate mistake of trying to make friends with some of the local bullies. She was, unfortunately, an all too easy target, having been tricked, humiliated, and pushed around into a filthy puddle. Feeling afraid and severely embarrassed, she ran for her life, trying to get away from these bullies. If that was the only time, she would have been OK. Mustering the courage to head out again, she quickly discovered that these bullies had a talent for finding her when she was alone and defenseless, quickly cornering her and picking on her when no opposition could be found.
Eventually, she finally found her salvation in the form of the underground tunnels. The first time she hid in the tunnels, she was hopelessly lost, and did not arrive home until very late at night. Despite her frightening experience in getting lost, the tunnels have proven to be an excellent escape from the bullies. In time, she learned every nook and cranny of the underground tunnels, making it her home away from home. Any time she needed to do errands, she always traveled via the tunnels when possible. If at any moment she was spotted by the bullies, she always escaped into the nearest tunnel whenever the chance presented itself. However, even this wasn’t perfect protection. More often than she’d like, she would be very easily cut off and victimized to their pranks.
All that changed at about eleven years of age, when she discovered an uncanny ability to know when her bullies would be around. At first, she simply assumed that having been bullied by them a lot has made her become very aware of their presence, and she took advantage of it every time she sensed them. She soon discovered, however, that it was not just limited to bullies. Any time she came into harm’s way, such as a ball head in her direction or if she unintentionally walked into the path of the trolley, this sixth sense of hers would warn her of danger, only barely giving her enough time to react. It took some practice, but she eventually learned how to use this to stay safe. Thanks to this, she was able to avoid them nine times out of ten, and even when they did find her, this same ability made it very difficult for them to corner her. Eventually, the bullies finally lost interest in her, and stopped picking on her altogether. The fear of being made fun of still persisted, however, and she continued to hide whenever possible.
For the next three years of her life, she refined and toned her ability to sneak by unnoticed, learning all the different routes and paths normally not taken, and finally adopting clothing that made it difficult to identify her. This has made her very agile and nimble, but her preference of flight over fight has done nothing for her self-defense capabilities. Still, she hopes to one day finally overcome her shyness and finally be as brave, and maybe heroic, as the heroes she admires so much.
Role Playing Sample: "This is it..." Morgan thought to herself, "A new route... something I haven't tried yet... if this works, it'll be a direct path to the tunnels, and no one would even know I was there..." Morgan had been wanting a more secure route to her comfortable and safe tunnels from her home, so for the past week she scouted the area to see if such a path existed. It seems there is one path, one that took her almost all the way to the tunnels. Only one part of it ran the risk of being found by the public, but it was such a small distance that she was certain she could sprint there without being caught.
“Well… if it worked for some of my heroes…” Morgan stated, putting on her trademark hoodie and gulping loudly. She felt quite nervous, which was very understandable. The first step in this trek was directly out of her room, which was an apartment at least three stories above the ground. With a “Here goes” she leaped out of her room and onto the rooftop of the neighboring building. She then made a mad dash, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, bounding across canopies when needed. It had thus far proven to be a relatively safe trek, as long as she kept her momentum.
Just a few more calculated jumps and its home free! Morgan thought to herself as she jumped and grabbed a hanging rope. The idea was to use the momentum to swing from the rope, across the street, and onto the building on the other side.
It’s working, she thought excitedly, It’s working! It’s WORKING! It’s not working! It’s not WORKING!!! She unfortunately overestimated her swing, and found herself swinging right back onto the building she was swinging from. Her six sense started screaming that she was about to hit the wall hard, but what could she do? Let go and she would fall to her doom, or at least to a broken arm. So she did the only thing that seemed safe enough; she allowed herself to crash face first into the wall.
“OW!” she cried, rubbing her nose while still gripping the rope, “Is it broken? It’s not? OK good…” Morgan quickly climbed up the rope to the roof, not wanting to attract any more attention than she may have already done so.
“That went as planned,” Morgan groaned to herself as she paced around the rooftop, kicking about any pebbles that may have found their way up there. “I mean what a brilliant idea! Run across the roof tops and swing off the rope across the street so that I can get down to street level on the next two jumps! That sure plenty safe and do-able! Maybe next time I’ll catch a plane on my next swing through! Morgan, you are such an IDIOT!! I know, right? I mean, it sounded like a good idea at the time, but clearly it was one of my stupider ideas, ya know? Well, maybe now you’ll know better than to assume you’re like the Prince of Persia or like Spider-man! Ouch, me… you didn’t have to rub it in like that…”
Defeated and embarrassed, with her hoodie up, she safely climbed down and made her way back home, deciding to try again.
You know what they say, if at first you don’t succeed…
