In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Lightning looked around the strange town she was in. She had never seen a place like this back on Cocoon and she was very confused. She noticed someone heading down the stairs from where she was. She decided to follow the person. She found herself in an open area and saw a blonde wearing a beanie similar to Snow's. However this blonde was to young to be her future brother in law.
She walked over towards the boy intent on finding where she was. She felt kind of stupid for having to ask someone where she was. She knew she would sound ignorant but she needed information she wasn't gonna make the same mistake she did with the Fal'Cie incident. "Excuse me could you tell me where I am?" Lightning asked the blonde.
((Just a side note for RPing in the future when you said where my charrie was going that was power-play or something like that I do believe. I don't mind much though so just a heads up for the future.))
Seifer woke in the morning, and peered out his window. Another day in Twilight Town. Seifer guessed the day would be another boring day, filled with the same boring people. So, he put on his vest and coat grabbed his struggle bat and walked down to the sandlot.
Seifer was unaware that the girl with pink hair was following him until he reached the sandlot. He turned, and then noticed the woman approaching him. Seifer didn't recognize this woman. She must have been new.
Seifer shot the girl a gaze as she walked ever closer to him. As the woman asked her question Seifer crossed his arms and listened.
"You're in Twilight Town, my town, now where are you from outsider?" Seifer asked with his usual tone.
This day might not be as boring as I thought, Seifer thought waiting for the woman to reply.

(Sorry about that.)
Lightning decided she didn't like this kid right off the bat. He was to arrogant for his own good. She made sure to restrain herself though. Until she learned more about this place 'Twilight Town' he had called it. She couldn't afford to start a fight with some arrogant citizen especially not this snot nosed brat.
"I hate to burst you're bubble kid but i doubt you have any right to call this you're town." She said glaring at him. If he thought she was gonna just bow down to him because he claimed that this was his town he was sorely mistaken. The only thing Lightning hated more then being used was people who thought they were better then others by divine right. Lightning was able to keep control over her emotions enough to not draw her sword though. "Could you tell me anything about those white creatures?" She asked ignoring his question about where she was from. She was pretty sure she wasn't on Cocoon or Gran Pulse.
((It's all right, was just giving you a heads up for the future.))
Seifer snorted, he would get this woman later.
"It is my town when me and my committee are the ones keeping it safe," Seifer said scowling back at the woman.
Seifer didn't like this woman. Not only was she an outsider, but she an annoying one also. Why what right did she have to say this wasn't Seifer's town. Great another annoying one for our town, Seifer thought.
"The white creatures are outsiders like you, they plague the towns citizens, and that's about it," Seifer said with distaste to the woman.
"Now I ask again where are you from?" Seifer asked again.
If this woman wouldn't comply Seifer would have to make her comply with force. The woman looked like she had some battle training, but Seifer still figured he would have her beat in a good old fashion struggle fight or street brawl.

Lightning was getting more annoyed with this child's arrogance. She had thought Hope was annoying at first but she had changed her mind. This kid however was pure arrogance and she wouldn't be changing her mind about him. She looked around to see if there was anyone else around but couldn't see anyone there besides the two of them. "So you don't know what the white creatures are called. I see I guess I'll have to find that info elsewhere." She said as she started to walk past him heading for the other set of stairs.
"What does it matter where I'm from? As you already said I'm just an outsider here. Just think of me as someone passing through." She said making her way to the exit of the Sandlot not caring to be around the arrogant child. She could tell he was itching for a fight and although she could easily take him she didn't want to hurt an innocent.
She continued to walk towards the stairs not caring where it would lead her. She hoped that it would lead her to more people who might be a little more friendly. She had also seen some train tracks earlier which meant there was a train station.
Seifer just continued to scowl at the woman. He knew what they were, and he even told her what they were, but did she listen.... maybe.
Why did Seifer want to know where the woman came from? Because she may have come from a bad place or a good place, Seifer didn't know which though he guessed bad.
Then, Seifer just watched as the woman continued to leave. Is she really just leaving like that.
Seifer shook his head. He ran into yelling range, so the woman could hear him.
"Hey wuss," he called out to her then asking, "What's your name?"
A name was one thing though Seifer would not let walk by. He knew all those local to the town, and I woman like this Seifer would want to know the name of in case she caused trouble around the town.

Lightning couldn't believe the nerve of this child. He was still trying to get info out of her. She had to keep herself from laughing as he insulted her. Surely he wasn't stupid enough to start a fight was he? After all she had a real weapon well all he had was a toy. Though she wouldn't draw her sword against another human being unless she actually had to. She figured telling him her name couldn't hurt.
"My name is Lightning." She said calmly turning around to face the child. Even though she thought he was an annoying prick she had no other leads to go on. Plus she could get a little bit of an idea of the layout of the town. As with finding where she was information of any kind was needed to survive. [color=Pink}"Where do the Train tracks go?"[/color] She asked more interested in that then anything else right now. After all train tracks had to lead somewhere right?
"Lightning," Seifer said to himself. That was a different name.
"Well I'll tell you were the tracks lead if you tell me where you're from," Seifer said to Lightning.
The woman wasn't completely stubborn, for she gave away her name. That was one step. Seifer still didn't like her though.
Seifer noticed something strapped to Lightning's waist. It looked like a sword, or gun of some type. Seifer would have to keep that in mind for later. If he did come to blows with Lightning, he wouldn't like to be caught at the end of the sword gun.
Seifer crossed his arms again waiting for Lightning's response. It was making Seifer annoyed that she was so resistant on revealing ere she came from. This made him very suspicious.

Lightning smirked while looking at him. Even though he was annoying she had to admit that he was good at getting what he wanted. She looked at him thinking. She wasn't exactly sure how to tell him. "I'm from somewhere far away from here. The name of the place won't matter you've probably never heard of it." She said.
She hoped that he wasn't trying to start a fight. Because even if she could take him she would have to hold back. Her Gunblade wouldn't be drawn when fighting a civilian. She looked at him critically. "So where do the train tracks lead to?"
Well that was descriptive description of Lightning's home. Seifer shook his head. He considered taking back what he said, but he figured it would make him seem like the better person if he told.
"If you have enough munny you can take the train to the beach or Sunset Terrance from the tracks," Seifer said pointing to wards the station.
"Now I feel you have insulted this town enough," Seifer said with spite.
"Do you know hoe to struggle?" he asked Lightning.
Seifer knew Lightning was going to leave, but he still wanted to get back at her with a struggle match. There were some spare bats in the sand lot storage if she didn't have one.
Seifer knew though once they struggle then he would have a fight advantage. He knew how to fight a good struggle.

Lightning looked at the boy. As he pointed in the direction of the station. She was going to head up there and see if she could find anything out. However before she could leave she heard his question. Struggle? Was that some kind of fighting competition they had here? She noticed the toy like weapon he had and figured it had something to do with the Struggle he mentioned.
"What exactly are the rules of a Struggle?" She asked her interest peaked. She knew that using magic would be out of the question since she doubted a normal child like this had any magic at his own disposal. However since she didn't know the rules or laws of this world she figured she shouldn't use magic unless she was in a life threatening battle. This kid probably couldn't give her a life threatening battle with that toy anyways.
"The rules of struggle are simple. Two people brawl for three minutes, and each person has 100 orbs," Seifer said then continuing, "At the end of the three ,minutes whoever has the most orbs is the winner, we have a tournament for that every year."
Seifer bent his neck a little causing it crack slightly.
"Now I myself like street struggle which is basically fighting until one of the fighters gives up of course, both struggles require special struggle weapons," Seifer said taking his bat out.
Seifer then pointed his bat straight at Lightning. A smile grew across his face and he let out a chuckle.
"I challenge you to a street struggle match or are you to chicken for fighting?" Seifer said in a mocking tone.
Seifer had confidence in himself. He knew his fighting skills. Though, he did think that fighting this lightning wouldn't be the easiest.

Lightning thought about it for a minute. Even if she didn't have any experience in childish competitions like this she was certain she was the better fighter. And if one obtained someone else's orbs by fighting them she figured she already had this in the bag.
"Alright then I accept you're challenge." Lightning said as she walked over to an abandoned Struggle bat. She picked it up and gave it a few practice swings so that she could get used to the lighter weight weapon.
She then held the bat pointed at Seifer in a challenging manor. This fight wouldn't be to hard. Or at least she hoped that it wouldn't. After all she had been in several battles through out the years she was a member of the Guardian Corps after all.
Seifer cracked his neck a few times, then he got into his fighting pose, blade arm extending out while his whole body stays relaxed. He smiled. This would teach this woman, not to be so resistant with information.
"We'll do street struggle so no orbs," Seifer called out, "Only fighting till one of us gives up."
Seifer stood there waiting. He thought of how he would play out this fight. Just fight like normal, he thought to himself. If the woman proves to be very good though he would have to improvise.
Seifer used his non-sword hand to point at Lightning. "Ladies first," he called out, getting ready to deflect or dodge the first attack.

Lightning smirked to herself. If she was gonna go first then this fight would be even easier. Plus she didn't have to worry about collecting orbs just go all out on him. She decided to start out simple though and just ran straight in at him swinging forward in a wide arch so that she left herself open.
She was hoping that the boy's arrogance was reflected in his abilities in combat as well so that he would take the bait. That way she could judge his abilities a little better. After all in a fight it was good to know what kind of strategy your opponent utilized. She had learned this during her battle with the Fal'Cie. Knowing your enemy truly was half the battle.
