In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Seifer caught Lightning's swing with his bat. She was a bit stronger than he thought, but nothing he couldn't handle. He broke off from the deflect, and jumped back. He figured he would do what he did best taunt Lightning, and get her angry or something.
"Pathetic," Seifer called out to Lightning, "Is that all you got."
Seifer used his other hand to gesture her to attack again. Of course he was doing this because he could, while it may not be the smartest move it would the right move for Seifer. He stood there bat extended and waited for Lightning to attack again.
Seifer though reminded himself that Lightning looked like a hardened fighter, so he should still keep his wits up, and stay observant.

Lightning smiled while looking back at Seifer. He was able to block her attack which wasn't what she had expected but she realized that he might be different then she first thought. She decided to go so much further this time. She rushed at him much quicker then the last time she attacked. When she got closer to him she lunged forward with a thrusting motion.
She was aiming right for his chest and if she was using her sword it would be a fatal attack. However with a foam bat it wouldn't really do much damage. At most it would probably knock the boy back unless he dodged or blocked it. Although she doubted with how fast she was going that he could.
The bat did hit Seifer sending him back a few feet, but he this as an advantage. He was on the defensive before, but now he could put himself on the offensive, and While on the offensive Seifer was quite a force to deal with. He was now far away enough to do his leap. So, he jumped about 5 or so feet into the air, and shot himself at Lightning.
Seifer said, "Isn't this romantic" though right before he attacked. This was one of Seifer's special moves. He used it in almost any battle he fought in, which is to say allot of battles.

Lightning smiled as she noticed Seifer coming down at her. She jumped away from him just out of his reach. She then rushed forward again and lashed out with a slash at his mid section. She wasn't expecting to actually connect with this hit like she did with her last strike. This time she was hoping he would block this one.
She still hadn't gotten serious during this battle yet. She was still gauging her opponent's strength. She was playing a game of attrition compared to Seifer who was fighting to win. She was certain she could out last him especially since she wasn't fighting to win.
Seifer turned to see where Lightning had gone to. He luckily saw her in time to roll out of the way. That was a close one he couldn't let himself get hit again.He stood up from his barrel roll, and got into a fighting stance again. His neck was getting stiff again so, he cracked it again.
Seifer ran in and swung at Lightning, at her stomach area. Seifer knew he would not give up, but this woman was giving him a run for his money. He was used to struggling other boys from Twilight Town, but Lightning's style was different. It was stranger somehow.
Lightning was glanced by Seifer's attack and jumped back a little ways. She hadn't expected to be hit by his attack. She was a little bit surprised by his strength but other then that she wasn't worried. She charged at Seifer again this time going for a cross body strike this time.
She wasn't sure what his reaction to this attack of hers would be. But she could still wait a bit longer before finishing it. After all she wanted to make sure he was good and tired before she finished the battle.

Lightning jumped up and over Seifer as he struck at her legs. She flipped up and over the boy to where she was upside down looking at his back. She swung the bat out at the back of his head. Even though it had taken longer then she thought it would she had finally drawn Seifer in. By appearing to have dropped her guard she had left many openings and he chose one that was easily exploited.
"Get you're head out of the clouds if you wanna win." She said as she landed and jumped back and away a little bit.
Seifer of course got bonked on the head. It wasn't that bad of a hit though. It was more like, a nudge or large tap on the head. Either way though since Seifer was crouched, and since Lightning was behind him, he quickly spun around a swung again trying not knock her over.
From the corner of the sandlot a new figure appeared. It was non other than Netti. He noticed Seifer fighting some new woman. That was... cool. Netti rested his rifle next to him, and he stood there watching the fight.

Lightning smirked and blocked his attack. She decided that she had waited long enough. She swung at Seifer as fast and hard as she could. She intended to end this battle as quickly as she could now. He wasn't half as bad as she thought he would be.
She noticed someone else near the exit to the Sandlot. She saw that this person had a rifle and wondered who exactly this person was.
Seifer got Lightning's struggle bat on his own but in hi kneeling position it was hard to push back, and boy was she pushing hard. Seifer used the rest of his strength to push back on Lightning's bat bat, but after a few seconds the struggle blades go pushed back to wards Seifer until finally Lightning's bat hit him sending flying back words.
Seifer just laid there stunned. How could he have lost at the sport he was best at. This all just stunned him. He slowly, though got back up.
"Good.... fight.... next time, I won't go.... as easy.... on you," He said between long breaths. He shot one last scowl at the girl, before leaving the sandlot.
Netti who had been watching for some of the fight appeared now out of the corner of the sandlot. He grinned. He was a lot friendly than Seifer, and he liked meeting new people.
" Hey," He called picking up his rifle, then walking over to the woman to say hello.
"I saw you fight you were pretty good," Netti told Lightning.

Lightning looked back at the rifle wielding warrior. "You can't really call a fight between a trained warrior and an inexperienced kid a fight. It was more like an effort in futility." Lightning said as she turned to walk away. However she stopped since this person seemed a lot different then Seifer.
"Tell me do you know anything more about the white creatures that exist here?" She asked hoping to get more info then she did out of Seifer. If she had to she would go to the train station and see if she can learn anything more about the creatures somewhere else. She still intended to check the train station to see if her sister or one of her friends was somewhere around here. Although she didn't think they were around here anywhere.
Netti shrugged the boy looked like a good enough fighter. Netti was about to talk, but then Lightning turned around, and asked a question.
"Eh the white beings," Netti thought for a moment.
He thought he knew what Lightning was talking about. White slinky creatures have been hounding Twilight Town, but more or less he just shot them if they got near or tried to attack Netti.
"Well All I know about them is that they are tough fighters, and that they have been hounding the town for awhile," Netti told Lightning.
In fact as Netti said that two dusks appeared in the center of the sandlot. Netti tapped Lightning's shoulder.
"Look there's the white creatures there," He said pointing his rifle at them. They would most likely attack soon. Though one or two of the dusks were usually no problem Netti ad a decent shot, and could usually outrun them.

Lightning looked and saw the white creatures as they appeared. She drew her sword and got ready to vanquish the creatures. It looked like he didn't know there names either but she had a certainty that he could help her find out more.
She ran towards one of the Dusks and slashed at it cutting it in half quite easily. However she didn't really have a second to rest as more of the Dusks started to appear. She looked around and tried to figure out if there was any exit she could use to escape them. Seeing that the slow moving creatures were blocking most of the exits she figured that the only way she could get to where she needed to be was by destroying the creatures. She took a breath and focused as she changed from the default Role of Commando to Ravager.
"Thundaga!" She said while waving her left hand out in front of her. Lightning fell from the sky striking multiple of the dusks and destroying them almost instantly.
Netti watched as Lightning fought. He was going to help her, but, the way she was clearing out the nobodies, she didn't seem like she needed help. He watched as all the white husks dissipated into nothing.
Netti, nodded as he saw Lightning's thundaga clear out the rest of them. Once there was non left, like in a cliche action. movie another nobody appeared behind Lightning. Netti took aim and fired destroying the white creature.
"Missed one," He said holstering his weapon.
Netti crossed his arms, an walked over to Lightning.
"Now those weren't some boy, so can I say you fought well now?" Netti asked chuckling slightly.
Though the white creatures were gone right now, Netti did glance around the sandlot in case. Sometimes, the white beings would hide then attack. Some even dive into the ground, and then they attack.
