- Buckler: A metal shield that is fairly sturdy and blocks fairly strong physical attacks. Doesn’t offer very much magical resistance, but physical resistance is good enough
- Blind Bombs: A type of explosive that, upon explosion, releases a chemical that inflicts Blind status and moderate damage. //Can only use 10 a thread at maximum. )

+the Flintlock + Onion Bombs
+ Healing Rod+ Onion Bombs
+ Blade + Shield + Bombs
+ Sword + Shield + Bombs
Picture: AsheAppearance: For one of 20 years old, Ashe is considerably smaller then others. She has a small build and a slender frame. Sandy blonde hair reaches above her shoulders, and her eyes are a gray color. She is rather attractive, but any man who would be foolish enough to point it out would be smacked across the face. She wears a beige cropped shirt that is also connected to an elaborate shoulder piece, both of which show her still-developing bosom. She has another navy-colored article of clothing that covers her stomach and flairs out in the back, reaching the beginning of her thigh. A pink miniskirt held up by a belt covers her pelvic area, with a pair of short shorts underneath that. On her legs are metal bracers that go to mid-thigh and a pair of pink boots. She also wears bracers on the top halves of her arms.
She also has a disguise when she wishes to go into public as Amelia. She wears a simple pink dress with yellow designing, fingerless gloves, one forearm bracer and buckle boots that reach to just below her knee. Either way she is dressed, her sword and buckler will always be present, but in her “commoner” wear, the sword’s scabbard will be a simple leather one, where her “noble” wear will sport a scabbard with gemstones.
Personality: Ashe is what some would call a very “proper” person, talking in the tongue of the nobles without noticing it. Her style of talk is very formal, and doesn’t use compound words such as “isn’t” or “can’t”. But, if you know her well, you find out she is very strong willed and has an immense stubborn streak. For her, she will get her way or somebody will suffer. Her pride is also very important to her, and insulting it will lead to pain for the insulter. And she
especially does not like comments on her form, which will most likely lead to a sword aimed at your heart.
But Ashe also has a soft side for those she learns to trust, helping them with anything they may need help with. Assisting others is her specialty, and she doesn’t mind not being in charge unless the need arises. Although she will never find another to replace her late husband, she will grow close to others.
Ashe’s main goal is not to return to Ivalice right away, but rather to find all of those who were sent to these “other worlds” and help them return to where they belong. Because of this, she will try to make contact with all the Hume she recognizes and will attempt to befriend viera in the worlds as well.
Sometimes she seems like, for lack of a better term, a bitch, but she is actually very caring. She just has a bit of a trust problem.
Original World: Dalmasca, Ivalice
Current World: Currently Radiant Garden
Video Game: Final Fantasy XII
History: Ashe’s early life wasn’t particularly eventful, for she was taught the etiquette of a princess from an early age and was named the sole heir of Dalmasca from birth. Her responsibilities were many, but she handled them with ease. Apart from nobility training, she also learned to defend herself with a number of weapons.
In the year 704 Old Valendia, Ashe was informed that her father, King of Dalmasca, and the King of Nalbradia had arranged for her to marry Rasler. Ashe understood that this was to solidify the alliance of the two countries, but she was nervous because Rasler was an old childhood friend. However, when they met for the first time in years, Rasler told her that he could not marry her. This upset Ashe, and she went to Marchioness Argas, her caregiver, for comfort. It was then when she overheard Rasler and the General of Nalbradia discussing plans about her father. Curious, she follows the General only to see him in a Neo-Rozarria Faction meeting, and learns that the faction plans to assassinate the king. In her shock, she accidentally catches their attention by knocking over some boxes, but Rasler appears and hides her behind a column. In her anger, she tries to break free, but falls through the weak floor into the Garamsythe Waterway. Intending to help her, Rasler jumps down along side her.
After they get over the shock of the fall, Rasler explains that he refused to marry her due to a fear of the Faction assassinating her, believing that postponing the marriage would keep her safe. Ashe forgives him and heals his wounds, but suddenly the water level begins to increase. Ashe took her love’s sword and vowed to lead them out of the Waterways and back to the palace, which she does successfully. Upon their return, they make it to the king’s bedchamber right before the Faction gets there. To Ashe’s surprise and utter disgust, Marchioness Argas is the assassin. Argas offers them to join the Faction, which Ashe stubbornly refuses, and are soon ambushed by several faction members. As they were fighting, Argas went to kill the king, only to be surprised by Captain Basch emerging from the sheets and taking off her arm. The rest of the knights entered the room and arrested the faction members, which also included one of their own, Sir Forz. Since she is safe, Rasler asks Ashe if she will marry him, which she eagerly agreed to.
At the age of 17, Ashe marries Lord Rasler, but soon after, Rasler went to fight at the Battle of Nalbina Fortress, where he is killed. Ashe, widowed not even a year after her marriage, is devastated and declares vengeance against the Archadian Empire. Soon after, Archadia launched a full-scale invasion of Dalmasca. King Raminas agreed to a peace treaty signing, but is assassinated by Judge Garbanth, Basch’s twin brother, who posed as Basch to frame him for the murder. As these events unfolded, Ashe went into hiding, and her uncle, Halim Ondore IV, ruler of Bhujerba, announces that she has taken her own life. She assumed the name of Amelia, found a former captain in the Dalmascan army, Vossler, and formed the Resistance, a group whose purpose is to win back Dalmasca’s independence. The group took their time, not causing any problems until Vayne Solidor assumed his position as consul of Dalmasca in the year 706.
During the massive banquet Vayne arranged, Ashe and the Resistance attempt to take back the palace, but are unaware it is a trap. As the Archadian forces overpower the Resistance, Ashe is forced to retreat to the sewers. There she meets Vaan, Fran and Balthier, who save her from a groupof Imperials. They form a temporary team as they go through the sewers, but are all captured by Archaidan soldiers. Ashe was taken to the airship Dreadnought Leviathan, where she was imprisoned by Judge Ghis, who confirms that she is indeed the true heir of Dalmasca.
After their breakout from prison, Vaan and his companions, now with Captain Basch, are once again captured and taken onboard the Leviathan Dreadnought. As Ashe first saw Basch she smacks him since she thinks it was he who killed her father. But, when Ghis reveals his plan to assassinate Ashe as an “imposter”, knowing that she would need the Dawn Shard and the Dusk Shard to prove she is the true heir of the Dynast-King. However, when Vaan reveals he had stolen the shard, it reacts to her presence, but is soon taken by Ghis so he can hide the proof that she is indeed the heir. Ashe, Vaan and company are able to get free with the help of Vossler, who disguised himself as an Archadian knight with Ondore’s help. As they try to escape, they run into Larsa and Penelo, who offers an allegiance to Ashe, even though he is an Archadian lord. She accepts, and then proceeds with their escape. The team managed to defeat Ghis, and they commandeered an airship, successfully getting away. All the time, she solidifies her clain to free Dalmasca, and agreed to go and talk to Ondore.
But, upon talking to her uncle, she learns that he can not assist Dalmasca, since it would be impossible without the Dawn Shard or the Dusk Shard. He finally advises her to do nothing, which Ashe furiously opposes. After she leaves, she attempts to steal the Strahl, Balthier’s airship, but is caught by the rest of the team. She then begs Balthair to “kidnap” her and take her to get the Dawn Shard, which is the proof she will need to take the throne. Balthair agreed, but only with a guarantee of treasure from the Dynast-King’s tomb, and the team sets out, having to leave the airship right before the Jagd due to the magicks.
On their way across the Sandseas, Vossler re-joins them, and accompanies her, but shows his concern with her allying with Sky Pirates like Balthier and Fran. She defends them, however, saying they are to be trusted and have their uses. Once they reach the bottom of the tomb, they fight the Esper Belias and defeat it, which Ashe reveals to be the “treasure” she promised Balthier. As they are about to get the Dawn Shard, Ashe saw an apparition of her husband, which Vaan can see as well (but thinks it looks like Reks, his brother who died in the war). Ashe takes the dawn Shard and leaves the dungeon, but then the team is once again captured by the Archadians. Again, they are taken to Judge Ghis on the Leviathan.
When they get on the Leviathan, Vossler reveals that he had made a deal with the Empire to save Dalmasca, which makes Ashe sad that the man she trusted most betrayed her. The group is then taken to the Shiva airship, where Ghis begins testing the Dawn Shard’s power. As they are being led to the prison quarters, Fran senses an immense amount of Mist and goes into frenzy, freeing everybody. Vossler tries to stop the group, but takes a fatal wound as a result. As he dies, he charges basch with the task of watching over Ashe, which he takes with pride. As the dawn Shard begins to destroy the Shiva, they grab another airship and escape yet again, watching as the Dawn Shard destroys the entire fleet of airships and returns to Ashe’s hands soon afterwards.
Returning to Rabanastre, Ashe vows to use the Dawn Shard to defeat the Empire, but Vaan points out she has no knowledge of how to use it. Fran suggests the see the Garif in hopes that they have knowledge of its power, but are let down as they find out that the Garif were clueless of its abilities. The night after that, Ashe saw Rasler’s ghost again, then encounters Vaan, who said he could see it too. They decide to keep the secret, and soon encounter Lord Larsa once again, who asks them to meet an ally at Mt. Bur-Omisace. Ashe agreed, and Larsa accompanies the group.
After reaching to wood to Bur-Ominasce, Basch questions Balthier’s intentions and discusses the possibility of a truce between Dalmasca and the Empire. After entering the Wood, they learn that it is not letting them in, and visit the viera, looking for Fran’s sister. They find her in a magicite mine of Archadians, and the barriers are lowered. They soon reach Mt. Bur-Omisace and meet Al-Cid Margrace, who discusses future political plans with them. Even though Ashe opposes an alliance with the empire, she foresaw that there may be no other choice. However, when Emperor Gramis is killed and vayne becomes Emperor, she goes to destroy the Dawn Shard with the sword of kings, so the Empire could not use its power. She intends to travel to Draklor Laboratories to speak with Doctor Cid, bus stop at the Phon Coast Hunter Camp. Balthier questions Ashe on what she wishes to do with the Nethicite, comparing her drive to his father’s, who he reveals to be Doctor Cid. He vows to support her all the way to her goal as revenge forhsi past, and warns Ashe not to overuse the stone’s power. Once they finally reach the Laboratories, they attempt to destroy the Dawn Shard, but fail in doing so. Instead, they return to Balfonheim Port with the Sky Pirate Reddas, where they discuss the possibility of war with the Empire. Reddas tells them that he had spoken to the Marquis about the subject, and says he supports challenging Vayne with the Nethicite. The party follows Doctor Cid to Giruvegan in hope to find answers. Before they leave, however, Reddas tells Ashe to remember the devastation of Nabidus before deciding to use the Nethicite.
Once they reach Doctor Cid, they learn the the Occuria’s wish for Ashe is to be the new Dynast-King, and give her the Treaty Blade to get more Nethicide from the Sun-Cryst. They also appoint her the task of destroying Venat and the Archadian Empire, but Ashe is shocked by this, and returns to Giruvegan, unsure of what to do. Reddas joins the group, and Ashe and company travel to the Pharos at Ridorana. Ashe still doesn’t know what to do, whether to destroy the Cryst or use its Nethicide to fight the Empire. They reach the top of the Pharos, but are ambushed by Gabranth. He tells her to avenge her father’s death and that he was the assasian of the king, not Basch. Ashe attempts to defeat him, but is stopped by Rasler’s apparition, which she learns is only an illusion made by Occuria to control her. She refuses to be controlled, and realizes revenge is not the answer. They fight and defeat both Gabranth and Cid, but are too late to stop Cid’s plan to wake the Sky Fortress Bahamut. Ashe attempts to destroy the Sun-Cryst, but fails, but Reddas sacrifices himself to let Ashe progress to the Bahamut.
As the Empire and Resistance airfleets meet, Ashe and the party infiltrate the Bahamut. Even though Ashe and Vayne have nearly identical goals, Vayne stills saw war as the only way out. The party defeats Vayne, then does it again when he merges with Venat, becoming The Undying.
As they escape back to the Strahl, they immediately communicate both sides of the fight. Basch impersonates his now late brother, stopping the Empire’s attacks, and Ashe calls off the Resistance. Larsa then declares himself ruler of the Empire, and ends the war with Ashe’s help. Then Ashe notices the absence of Balthair, who is on the falling Bahamut. Ashe begs him to get off the ship, but he tells her not to worry, fixes the ship just in time, and saves Rabanastre.
//One year laterAshe is crowned Queen of Dalmasca, yet stays in touch with Penelo, telling her of her duties as queen. Penelo relays this information to the others, saying that even though war is over, Ashe must miss the others, especially Basch. Balthier then returns Ashe’s wedding ring, his down payment for assisting her, having found something much more valuable.
//2nd Year of RuleHowever, peace would not last. Strange types of Mist started appearing, summoning black creatures nobody had seen before. They ravaged Ivalice, and caused the disappearance of many people. Ashe, acting as a queen should, readied her personal airship, Anima, bringing with her the Treaty Sword and plenty of supplies. She traveled into a massive cloud of Mist that, upon entering, warped into a portal and transported Ashe into Gummi Space. Confused on where she was, she was soon attacked by Heartless ships, which disengaged the engines of Anima. Ashe was forced to abandon her ship via escape pod, and didn’t have time to grab the Treaty Blade. So, as her ship crashed into another world, she crashed into one where her next story would start.
Radiant Garden.
Role Play Sample:[/b]
The swish of a pink dress was all Ashe heard as she stood, looking at the castle that dominated Radiant Garden. Yes, it was a majestic castle, but long since abandoned by its ruler. She had gained very little information of the world from the residents, but knew enough to survive. Luckily, one kind lady was able to warn her of the dangers of the Heartless, and Ashe took those words very seriously. Several times had she encountered the beings of darkness, but she, occasionally with Belias’ help, could dispatch of them properly. Yet today she seeked something different, and as she approached the opening of which showed the other castle—what she called the “heartless castle”, she saw the wreckage of her escape pod. Glad that she made it out unscratched for a moment; she reached inside it, grabbing the sword she hid inside of it. Nay, it wasn’t the Treaty Sword, but it got the job done. But she was disappointed that her stash of bombs was few, for she had little time to grab any. Just as she went to leave, something caught her attention, and she turned, shield and sword in hand and anger in her gray eyes. She had come to recognize the scent of these Mist beings, and faced the single one that appeared to her, her eyes widening as she saw it.
It appeared in the guise of a large lizard, and without a moment’s hesitation charged at her. She barely dodged a spinning attack from it, and managed to get close enough to lay a deep cut across its chest. But, as she watched it, the Heartless suddenly shimmered and disappeared. Bewildered, she turned around; looking for it, then saw a glow before two missiles sent her flying. As she got back up, she took a bomb from her bag and threw it. Upon detonation, a gas filled a radius Ashe stayed away from until it dissipated. The lizard reappeared, blind, and as Ashe approached it, her hand glowed with a blue light.
”Be gone, creature of the Mist!” she said as seven mines fell before the beast, exploding with a small cry from her mouth. After her attack, she felt it come again, and repeated the attack. As the glow around her hand faded, she watched as the creature seemed to gasp in surprise, then fell, turning to nothing but a crystal heart-shaped object that floated into the sky. Sighing and sheathing her sword, she walked back towards the city, having enough excitement for the day.
But the excitement came to her, as several large shadows approached her, rising out of the ground and striking her from behind. With a cry of surprise, she pivoted and held a hand to the sky. A magick circle appeared around her, which became surrounded by flame, and from behind her appeared the figure of her Esper and guardian, Belias. With a mental command, he charged at the Heartless and swung his blade, taking out three of the six. As he did this, Ashe began using a spell with the last bits of her mana, and a green light enveloped her as the Cure spell did its duty. Then, drawing forth her sword, Ashe charged alongside the Esper, anger bellowing from her mouth.
