In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Imagine it; a sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. Little children running around playing without a care in the world, their parents sitting on the park benches chatting away about said kids. Today was that day in Twilight Town, the exact kind of day that Seed abhors. He walked to his apartment window and opened the window and let out a long sigh. In his head he was already trying to find a way to ruin this day for others but came up with a blank. The Heartless wanted to try something new; something unexpected. Seed slumped over to his wardrobe and pulled out his usual attire and dressed himself before heading out, not even a psycho like him would go out nude in public. Walking out of the building a kid tripped over him and her ice-cream fell to the ground. To say the least the little girl began crying and her mother quickly came over to comfort the youth, she was about to scold Seed for tripping her child but when she gazed upon his face she just blushed and composed herself and her daughter and they both were out of site in no time. Seed just smiled, that woman was one of his one night stands; for all he knew that kid was his.
The Heartless spent some time just wondering around thinking of a way to annoy people when a brilliant idea popped in his head. Everyone likes songs right? So why not give them just that? A song no one will be able to get out of their head. And any old town won't do for this special performance, no, no he wanted to give the Sister town a special greeting, so, with guitar in hand, and suddenly sitting on the fountain in Traverse Town (Space magic rocks). He gave a few musical strums and the crowd’s attention was drawn to him quick. With a generic guitar beat he began his song.
”The indulgence of your lives,
Has cast a shadow over all the worlds”[/b] His voice as smooth as velvet and his attire changed to a baggy white shirt and tattered blue jeans. But as for the crowd, a disturbed look span over all the faces and several kids had ran to their parents and hid behind them. But the Heartless continued
”Your devotion to our appetites, Betrayed you all An apocalyptic blight, More destruction will unfold. Mother Earth will show her darker side.”[/b] As this verse was said the sky darkened and the air seemed to fill with an eerie aura. Seeds illusion magic was the cause and it was only going to get worse. Much, much worse.
”It’s just another way to die. “There can be no other reason why. You know you should have seen it coming, “Consequences you cannot deny. Will be revealed in time, Bodies fade as we darken the sky, A sign of devastation coming.
By this time the citizens were frantically looking for a way out of the shroud of darkness that had encased them but whenever they moved out of the dark they found themselves stumbling right back into it. Kids crying and others curled in a ball trying to ignore what was going on. Some were even beginning to see horrors from their dreams and backing into walls or corners to in vain to escape. But Seed just went on.
”You brought another way to die. Can you repent in time?
“The time bomb is ticking, And no one is listening.
Your future is fading, Is there any hope you’ll survive.
“Still we ravage the worlds you love, as millions cry out to be saved.
Our endless maniacal appetite, left you with another way to die.
Our greed and hunger led to your demise.[/b]
When the word “demise” was done echoing through the air, the darkness lifted and the visions ceased. Seed stood up with his normal cloths clad on his body and his guitar vanished into the air, he took several steps forward and eyed everyone he could, drinking in the fear like a vampire. He simple spoke, ”After all…” he paused,”IT’S JUST ANOTHER WAY TO DIE!!!!!!” he screamed and it echoed through the town followed by his maniacal laughter and the sounds of children shrieking in terror and parents scooping them up running away from Seed.
”Ah, I feel better already. How bout you?” he asked as he sensed that someone or several people had actually stayed or came to him. Seed wanted to see how this was to turn out ever so much.
This strange man... The way he'd sung, it was so beautiful, and yet so wrong... He'd sung of dark things. Against the white of the snow around him, he looked more dark and less tan. Cat ears flicked against the chill, both of the icy Traverse Town air and the dark chill from the man's song. Hugging his coat about him, Vayne regretted coming down to the cafe dressed in nothing but his winter coat and his standard maid uniform he used while working at the Hotel to pay for his room.
White stockings contrasted sharply with his black shoes and black skirt, hidden beneath a black coat. Black was, as the lady at the store had put it, "incredibly 'in' right now"... whatever that meant.
His cheeks were frosted pink by the biting night air. He'd meant to buy a scarf, but his meager paycheck would not allow for it. Not this week, anyway. Nose rosy, he took a tentative step towards the man, when he spoke.
"Ah, I feel better already. How bout you?"
The question caught Vayne off-guard. He hadn't thought he'd been too incredibly loud making his way towards to man. If anything, he'd been trying his hardest to make no sound at all. His catty agility was one of his proud skills. It was one of the few perks that came with the ears...
"I don't think 'better' is the right word for it," Vayne said hesitantly. "I feel... uneasy. You feel really dark, and those things you sang about didn't sound nice either..."
What was he doing? This man was very clearly dark, and may even be dangerous. What was it that had possessed him to answer the question? The man wasn't even looking at him. He couldn't see Vayne at all. If he'd stayed quiet, no one need have known he was there at all.
"My name is Vayne," he said. Even in the face of this strange man who made him feel uneasy, he couldn't help but surrender himself to his own polite tendencies.
Shouta touched the curtains of the hotel room, watching the sky. Sol had been the one, kind wolfboy he was to provide for him for now. Shouta sighed softly. His parents were gone, his world was gone..now he had to fend for himself. But, he thought with an annoyed look, what and where was he to work.
He was more concerned with why the sky was suddenly darkening. Of course, the sky was always dark - it was always night here, but somehow it was just getting darker, okay?! Shouta heard a drifting melody and a low voice, but was unable to discern what exactly was being said - but he saw people gathering at the fountain. The fountain was pretty! It spouted water. And now the fountain was singing?
That. Is. Awesome!
Feeling that he HAD to check it out, he turned and shot straight out of the room, returning once to put on his clothes and once more to lock the door.
By the time he approached the fountain, the fountain seemed to have stopped singing. For some reason, it seemed lighter now and was replaced with the slightly unsettling feeling of those dangerous black animals. Frowning, he headed for the fountain, noticing two males.
The first he knew was male because, well, duh, he was facing the green haired man. The second was wearing a dress, but he had seen the boy a few times in the hotel so he knew the dressed boy was male too. The two seemed to be chatting, completely ignoring the fountain.
Talk about not appreciating talent!
He didn't want to waltz past them and rudely interrupt their talking though, so feeling a little disappointed, pulled his own dress straight and leaned against a lamppost, hoping he got to look at the singing fountain soon.
..Oh, wait a moment, the green haired man was holding a guitar..
This was such a perfect night! While he had not so long ago finished helping Shouta find a place at the hotel to stay, he also waited for Vayne to get off of work. So Sol had decided to take a stroll around the town, and it seemed like the town itself was just making this the best day for Sol. So far he had not met anyone else on the streets, which meant that he wouldn't take any crap about his ears, tail, and clothes. Second, music seemed to fill the air, and it was such a good song that Sol was hearing! Granted it was a bit dark, but Sol couldn't help but hum along with it.
Wonder who's even playing this song. Eh, might as well find out, I got a bit of time before I need to see Vayne anyway. So by following the sound of the music, Sol made his way towards the fountain. On his way there, he noticed the sky getting darker than usual. "Huh...that's new..." As he neared his destination, he noticed people were freaking out. Strange.
"Geez, what's going on? A Heartless outbreak?" If it was Heartless, then he had better check it out. He knew that chick Jadis would want any Heartless that wandered into town to be wiped out anyway. So without haste he jolted for the fountain, only to find Vayne talking to a green haired man with a guitar. So he was the one who was making the music?
Not a bad looking guy...but his scent...it's...off... And speaking of scents, Sol caught the scent of another boy he knew, Shouta. He saw the young silver haired boy leaning on a lampost, watching Vayne and the other guy talk. "Hey Shouta," he called out to the fairy boy, waving at him as he walked to Vayne and the other guy. "Hey Vayne, what are you doing here? And who's this guy?" he asked gesturing to the green haired guy.
Wind swept through his hair and the snow made the creepy and sinister grin pressed over his face seem all the more usual, like it was meant to be there amongst the afterglow of his performance. His cadence. His Allegretto con fuoco . But the one thing he didn't expect was a random, seemingly, odd chick strolling up to him. What did he look like? Some guitar hero looking for groupies?
"Look, kid. The first words out of your mouth to the guy who just sang a song about the darkness eating people whole is not," And he did a mockery of the others voice, scoffing as he finished, "What's your name?"Idiot, he mentally added. The not so mentally stable Heartless was back in his sleeveless white, light green and black jacket and black trousers. Expression bored and placid, was this really the reaction he was going to get? Not a single person wanting to attack him? Great.
"That it! REALLY? THAT'S ALL I FUCKING GET? TWO WOMEN AND SOME WHORE WEREWOLF THAT -SOMEHOW- GOT AWAY FROM ME?" A finger jabbed in the direction of Sol, he didn't even care about the other two at the moment. But holy hell, was this night quickly becoming some dull ville snooze fest.
"Oh yeah! Don't think I forgot Sol, useless mutt.."
Glaive met hand faster than Vayne had even registered it happening. He had heard Sol greeting him and some other boy about his age who'd just sort of walked up and leaned on a light pole. The bite of the cold night was bitten back by the surge of adrenaline. Sol had been the target of a particularly nasty remark (nasty, at least, in Vayne's book). He'd been right, in part... This man was definitely dangerous. He should have known when the sky darkened like it did, he was not normal.
He'd mocked his politeness, but that was okay. If at first you don't succeed, keep trying... right?
"Darkness doesn't always eat people," Vayne said, banishing his glaive and taking a step forward. "I'm proof of that. My world fell to Darkness, and yet here I stand." Of course, Vayne neglected the small fact that he had not been on his world when it fell... Eliana had seen to that.
Vayne smiled a bit. This world was his Exhibit B. People and items were escaping from the Darkness to this place each and every day. Of course, under the White Lady Jadis, it was less of a struggle to survive here once you got here. At least, where Heartless were concerned.
However, he still felt strangely drawn towards this dangerous man... He felt familiar. The dark aura and his unstable personality. The incessant talk about Darkness and the whole thing about the Heartless... This man was almost exactly like Lea. Except for his appearance.
"Say..." Vayne mused, "You wouldn't happen to know a person named Lea, would you? You both feel the same as a weak Heartless..."
Another step forward. Something about this man was calling to him. It was his dark aura. So much like Lea's... He was worried he may get too close. He may provoke the man to attack. Yet he felt like the closer he got, the safer he was. The more familiar everything was. Another step closer, and more haze over his brain, lulling him into security.
Lea felt this way, and he was like a big brother... So surely this man can't be all that bad.
"My name is Vayne," he repeated. "May I please have your name, sir?"
"Ngh.." muttered Shouta, rubbing his head. Sol's sudden entrance cause him to jolt back involuntarily, smacking his head into the very solid lamppost. "Hai, Sol," he murmured, not sure nor caring if he heard it or not, more worried about rubbing his head.
He blinked and his head tilted slightly. Women? Two women? There were women here? He looked around curiously - all the women that were standing around had long since fled. Maybe the women the green haired guy was referring to were invisible. Ooh, so one could be standing right next to him! He skipped forward very carefully, making sure his arms were out and waving slowly before him - to him, it was to make sure there were no invisible women in his way, but to the others he probably looked completely insane.
He made his way closer to the three males until he was right behind Sol. About to ask him a question, he blinked when the other boy made a long, stick thingy with sharp ends at the end. Then, he instantly un-made it! Shouta frowned as the boy began talking about darkness and himself..
The boy went to the green haired guy, so the ice fairy tugged on Sol's arm instead. "What's a uhmn, hoo-ar?" he asked innocently. If Sol was one, it must've been something good. "Are you a good one?"
He looked at the green haired male hopefully. "Can I be one too? Oh!"
Maybe it was a job! Coincidentally, he needed a job. "Does being a hooar pay~?"
A short pause. "Hey! Sol's not useless! And he's not a mutt, his ears and tail look nice and white like a pretty pure bred wolf ♥."
And then he sent a glowering look at the grass haired boy.
Well this guy sure wasn't the nicest one out of the bunch. Sol thought his song was pretty good, but what kind of audience did he expect? He did sort of scare off all the other people off. So he should probably be grateful that he even still had an audience. "Look buddy, for your information you did scare everyone else off, so just be glad we're still here. And these two are boys! Not girls..." Though when the guy mentioned, a whore werewolf, and pointed to Sol and said his name. Sol was a bit shocked.
"Hey how do you know my name? We've never met before, so either fuck off, or at least apologize to these two." He said gesturing to the approaching Shouta and talking Vayne. It really was interesting that Vayne was talking about Darkness and himself to the guy. Sol hoped he was being careful, the green haired guy didn't really seem like the nicest bunch.
Sol raised an eyebrow when Shouta started talking about a "hooar". Did he mean whore? Guess he misunderstood the word. "Uh...it's uh..." Sol felt a bit awkward trying to explain the concept to such an innocent boy like Shouta, "It's a person...who...makes love to other people on a regular basis. And no, you can't make money being one," Even though Sol knew that it was possible, "Trust me, it really isn't worth it Shouta." Said the werewolf as he turned his gaze back to Vayne and the green haired guy, who Vayne called a Heartless.
Heartless? Vayne thinks he's a Heartless? Well the guy's scent isn't really human...but I dunno...maybe he's like Shouta. Guess he's half something then...
Seed stood there, simply drawing a blank and expressionless face at everything that transpired in under five minutes. Few things he mentally noted, those were not women, just really girly men, good to know. Sol is being really annoying, an asshat, or any combination of the two. Green hair flicked as tossed his head to the side with a scoff, eyes narrowing for a moment in disgust.
"Oh boo hoo. Poor wolf boy hit his head and can't remember shit, I feel sooooo bad." If words were venom than the ones the Seed of Discord spat out at the Wolf would put a Brown Recluse to shame. He held no love or even liking of him, what good was a mutt if all his barks never turned to bites. All he gave to the other two was a glance, a narrow of green eyes, and a scoff. "Then don't let them wear dresses. A mocking mental note.
Ignoring the "weak" Heartless comment, Seed shoved aside Vayne and made straight for Sol. The Wolf was here, here and not in the Castle, where he -belonged-. "And -you-," A hand shot out, going for Sols head hair and yanking it back. "Are you trying to get me in trouble? I mean, I had Even practically shoving his beakers down my throat because you somehow slipped out."
The shove allowed Vayne to return to his senses. This man was nothing like Lea. He'd grabbed Sol by his hair and started ranting on about a castle and someone shoving test tubes down his throat. Test tubes? That must have hurt... but there was no time to consider how painful shoving glass tubes into your esophagus may or may not be. Vayne summoned his glaive again, pointing the blade at the verdant back of the man's head.
"I don't know who you are," Vayne said, "but I know that I can't allow you to harm my friend."
Of course, it would be nice if you didn't harm me either... Vayne thought.
He couldn't waiver, though. One sniff of fear about him, and he was sure that, whatever this person was, he'd surely be able to smell it all over him. Even in his stockings. Especially in his stockings. They never seemed to remain that nice lavender smell they were when he first took them out of the drier for longer than a few minutes. Which was irritating because Vayne really liked that smell.
No, the smell in his stockings would be one of fear, which even normal people ate up like hungry sharks when they got a whiff of it.
"I must ask you to release him," Vayne said. "It'd also be nice if you took a couple steps back, but I'll settle for just the first one."
Shouta frowned. Why was everyone yelling at each other? If they wanted to say something they didn't have to shout. He watched Sol curiously, cheering up - that was easy! Making love...playing matchmaker? Oh! So..being a whore was pairing people up ♥. That sounded easy enough. Or maybe it was creating love? So if he said I love you to someone that was one job as a whore done.
"Oh, but it's so easy," he pouted. Maybe it gave very little money. Leaning on Sol and watching, shocked as the other waiter-waitress-something-boy-from-the-hotel was pushed aside, Shouta jumped out of the green haired guy's way just in time. He had to decide between helping the waitress boy or helping Sol, and decided on the latter since he was being, well, held by the evil boy.
A small ball of snow formed in his hands, and he promptly threw it at the green-haired guy's head. "Hey! Let let..him..go.."
Guess this guy just wasn't getting it. Sol didn't know this guy at all! But...how did he know Sol? The two had never met before. Heck, not even on Sol's homeworld had he met a guy named Seed. So just who was he? "I'm serious, I don't know you. And I seriously don't know how you know me. Maybe you should explain that first." He said as he gave the green haired boy glaring daggers.
He didn't even seem to care for Vayne, since he ignored him! Geez, this guy really didn't have any manners at all. And Shouta wasn't really making the situation better, but Sol could ignore him. He felt like this green haired guy would probably start trouble no doubt. And he was soon found right as the guy suddenly brushed past Vayne and grabbed his hair and yanked it!
"Hey! What the hell?! Let go dammit! I told you, I don't know you and I don't know who the fuck Even is! So let go, or your gonna have some serious shit on your hands pal." he said as he watched Vayne take out a double bladed weapon and Shouta hurl a snowball at the guy. There was no way he could take on all three if they worked together.
"Cdibet lumt" A voice of a young girl said, jumping on top of the various buildings that towered over the districts. Since when did Traverse Town get cold? Rina never remembered Traverse Town ever suffering from a winter, especially one like this. However, this made life hard for Rina.
As she jumped from building to building, she heard the sounds of what sounded like shouts coming from somewhere. Rina stopped.
"What was that?" She said to herself as she turned in the direction of the sounds. Not really sure what it was, she needed to prepare herself for what was ahead. But what element should she use?
"Equip Element: Fire" She said, as her guns reacted to her words and shifted so that the bullets were now charged with fire. Why fire? Because the heat would make up for the chilly atmosphere that imposed itself on Traverse Town.
She then began to jump across the buildings towards where she heard the sounds and eventually, she reached the spot where all the commotion was happening. There seemed to be 4 guys, one with cat ears, one with green hair, one with wolf ears and tail and one who had ice powers, as she watched as the boy formed a ball of snow in his hands and threw it at the green boy, who was gripping onto the wolf boy's hair.
Rina saw enough of the situation to realize that she needed to act. Moving along the buildings so that she was closer to the group, she aimed a bullet at the Green-haired boy and shot 4 fire bullets straight at him.
"Hey! Green Haired Boy!" She shouted, putting on a cocky smirk as she shouted at him. "Let Wolf Boy go, or you'll pay!" She continued to shout, both pistols aimed at the Green haired boy.
