In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

How long had it been? Since Synthest had awoken from his autopilot and viewed the world around him? Since he'd fought his way free of the Dark XII's grasp and finally torn himself from that vile Elaeus' hold? How long had it been since he had helped Kaze in Twilight Town?
Or before that... In his old life. In the realm of sleep, in Worlds forgotten, so far away from here. He wondered why he had to wake up. Why he had to leave everything he loved and hated behind.
Or maybe, he wondered most of all why they just let him go. Just like her... Keisha. Why would she just die and leave him there?
Synthest felt the presence of people around him and did his best to block them out. If he had learned anything... It was that the only thing people could do was turn. People were weak. They would all eventually turn to Heartless, once they were infected with the Darkness. That, or die. He'd seen it during his time as a soldier. Then, when Ocean was attacking the Worlds. He'd only known one human to survive. I'm the only one. A lifetime ago, literally, he'd been infected. The Darkness coursed through his veins in a very physical way, but for decades, he'd fought it off. And to avoid dying itself, the Heartless kept him alive and healthy.
Thus, he tended to hole himself away. He could smile, that only took a few muscles, but actually feeling didn't matter anymore. What was the point? All of his friends... Lloyd, Keilah, Kaze, everybody. They all disappear. Everybody goes their separate ways. Then you're left alone. And they don't care whatsoever. Life is about one person, and it always will be, despite how selfless one person can be. At the end of the day, the person surviving is the only one who matters. No matter what, people want to live. And death is the only thing that can exterminate every plan.
So why was Syn so lost? Why was he using a fake name? Because the one known as Vonne died a long time ago... When Keisha had closed her eyes for the final time and his hero, a man named Keyon, had disappeared into the night, leaving the young man with a non-fatal wound.
"Give me a reason to exist."
What was he supposed to do now? Talk to himself all day? Please...
The shadows writhed behind him and he grinned. Heartless? What a nice day.
