In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Species: MAH (Magically Altered Human) A human altered by specific machinery and magic to bestow powers to the selected individual. Due to high risks of dangerous explosions, extremely quick decomposition, and other painful deaths, a single power/profession is all that can be given.
Position: Neutral
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills: Skills Subject #13: Subject #13 was made with pure strength in mind. His magically altered body gives him strength beyond that of a normal human and then some. As such, lifting Odin isn't a problem for him, though his swings are sloppy and slow until he can get proper training. With a punch, he could do some mighty good damage, though, so close combat isn't much of an option against this guy. [Passive] Come, Odin!: Dante can summon Odin in the same fashion as an actual Keywielder summons their weapon. That's about the end of the similarities between him and an actual Keywielder. [Passive] Weaknesses[/b] He's inept in fighting. He can throw in the few punches/slashes and kicks, but as for abilities, he's not much to write home about. His mind is malleable and is prone to planted suggestions. As it stands now, he could be used on either side with little to no idea on what his actions truly accomplish. He has little idea about the outside Worlds. He doesn't even know of their existence. He's a relatively fresh mind that's set out into the Universe with a hidden ability. Weapon/Items: Odin Odin is Dante’s Replica Keyblade. It’s a Blade that was made for pure, crushing strength. The entire weapon resembles a war hammer in design and is used about the exact same way. It has a thick, cylindrical stock with three holes going down either side of it. The head of the blade has two, large hammer-like apparatuses and, between these, two small cubes. A small point is located on the back of the head and is used for piercing through armor. The hilt guard is blocky and thick to support the heavy weapon and the hilt is thicker than most. The hilt is covered in a special grip that makes control of the weapon easier. The Keychain is a small shard of a crystal. Some designs in green and gold are etched into the head of the Replica. The whole Blade is completely silver, save for the hilt guard which is black and the designs. Does not have to power to unlock/lock Hearts or Worlds. Doesn't have the power to unlock normal locks of any kind. Secondary Weapon[/i] Fists/Legs and Feet: Dante was altered to be stronger than a normal man. If he can’t call Odin, or the fighting calls for close-quarters, the MAH will switch to his fists and such to crush people in the face like that instead. Picture: N/a
Appearance: Subject #13 // Entry #3 Subject is a human male, age nineteen, healthy condition. Body type is medium. Athletic and strong, perfect for project. Toned body. Slightly tanned. Black hair covering eyes. [Note: Cut Bald.] Eyes are mahogany; odd color. Height is 6'1". Weight is 189 Lbs. Tattoos on lower arm, upper arm, shoulder, and back. Black color and tribal designs. Located on right arm and right side of the body.
Sub-Update // Entry #23 Subject #13 not accepting the energy currently. A forceful beam of energy cut across his right arm. Was able to stop bleeding and stitched it up in the fastest way possible. Permanent scarring obvious. Will continue procedures as planned. Beginning tests on Subjects #14 - #20 tomorrow as well. Subject #13 will sit in suspended animation in the Machine until the schedule allows for more tinkering. Subjects #4 - #10 are currently stable.
Sub-Update // Entry #32 All Subjects were a success. Project Yggdrasil has ended. Project Valhalla will begin after much needed rest. All Subjects placed in Machine till my return. Clothing has been chosen for the Subjects. Subject #4 wi- {After a few paragraphs} -s well. Subject #13 will be a bit more simple. A tight t-shirt of dark gray color with a black, leather belt with a silver buckle going diagonally across his chest. A decal in silver is on this shirt and is in the shape of a snarling Fenrir. Shorts of a sandy color. Black belt. Shorts reach to shin. Boots of a dark brown color with black laces. Rings on left ring and left pointer finger. Wrist bands on left wrist as well. Armor will appear on right arm. Right arm is sleeveless and frayed at the shoulder. Glove worn on right hand. Fingerless.
Personality: Subject #13 // Entry #2 Subject #13, Dante Hyubasi, is a normal young adult. Energetic and high-spirited with many friends that act just the same. Not many things seem to bother him, but something may be lying underneath the outer shell of his being. Other “Outer” personality aspects are that he’s a fan of sports, thus he is competitive in nature. If one word was to describe him, it would be “Brawler”. He may be nice, but he won’t hesitate to create a new hole into the body of his competitor. Lovable, understanding, not a nuisance to anyone. That’s and odd personality indeed, Subject #13.
Subject #13 // Deeper Analysis #1 A deeper look into this Subject’s psyche reveals his slightly troubled past. He lost his father in a working accident and had only his mother to comfort him. Her comfort was short lived, as she became broken and a shell of her former self. His childhood was decent, save for the depressed mother, and he made the best of what he had. Therefore, he has a problem with comfort [Note: Alter this.] He is easily angered on the inside, but let's none of this show outside and only shows his happiness. His competitive nature is due to, not only the sports he plays, but the need for praise from someone due to not getting a lot from his parents. [Notes: Alter out personality flaws.]
Subject #13 // Alterations I have carefully reprogrammed Dante’s personality, making sure not to plant a seed that might corrupt the garden of his being. He is now more comfortable around people and doesn’t need the praise of others to sustain him. Although these changes have been made, he is quite blank, almost emotionless. It’s not bad, but it allows him clarity on subjects that the others don’t bother with. It seems that now, he has a strong sense of what’s just. At least what he deems as correct. This might prove to be troublesome if his clarity forces him to recollect the memories he has lost and piece together the puzzle of his disappearance. He’ll see me as an unjust man. He’ll set out to kill me. I don’t suppose it would be to difficult, either. I’ve lost much of my strength making the Replicas and I grow weaker by the day.
Original World: Kareen A World that is as far in technological advancement as Twilight Town. This World consists of an outer rim that contains the higher social classes and greater shops with items of only the highest quality, a middle area made up of a suburban, middle class folk that work in both cubicles and the mines that dot around the middle ring, and finally the inside circle made up of the poor social classes. This is evident by the buildings and social norms of those who live in their respective rings. Jobs here range from all types of manual labor. The majority of mines are located in the innermost area. Current World: Twilight Town

{Many of the audio and written logs are either just static or are ruined by smudging or burns. Some remain, however.} Subject #13 // Entry #1 Got my pick of another human today. Male. Nineteen. Dante Hyubasi. I have an idea already planned out for this young man. The optimum time for capture is in two days. Preparations beg- {Smudging ends the entry}
Subject #13 // Entry #11 Subject #13 has finally accepted the energy. It has been two days since the success of the operation and twenty-seven days since the beginning. It has been, to date, the toughest of the 24 Subjects. The work was well worth it. He has already begun to move around and speak, but only mutters the occasional "What". In due time, he will regain the basics of his persona. His name, age, how to speak the way he used to, etc... Subjects #14 - 24 are beginning to show signs of awakening as well. The common gurgle can now be heard from many of them during random times of the day. In a few days, they'll be walking around and conversing with each other.
Subject #13 // Entry # 27 Subject #13 has began to talk. He's confused, as everyone is at first. He is worried about his safety here in the lab. I consoled him by telling him that he was safe in this room. He continued to ask questions, such as why the room was safe and how I knew that he was going to be okay. I answered them all until he became hungry. I fed him the norm and he finally went back to sleeping. He's quite the talkative one, but it's a sign of great success. The later Subjects have already been moving around the underground facility. They have already made friends with each other. Some have made enemies. Here's hoping that Subject #13 will be just like the others.
Subject #13 // Entry #29 Subject #13 is doing remarkably well with everyone. He made friends almost instantaneously. His first friend, one who came up to him the first moment they made eye contact, was Subject #6, Eden. She is my White Spell user. They began to talk for about thirty minutes and they would've talked for longer, if it weren't for the others who wanted to meet Dante. The next person he met was Subject #10, Richter the Fire user. He gave a greeting and then proceeded to tell the newcomer that these were his people. Deep down, I don't think Dante enjoyed the man's cockiness, but no irritation was shown outside. He simply nodded and met the others.
Valhalla Project // Update #1 The goal of this next project will be to create the closest replica of a Keyblade that I can conjure. It will be nowhere near as strong as the true thing, but it will be a powerful weapon indeed. To make this a weapon to replicate the workings of a Keyblade, I will have to power each one up with a piece of something important; a piece of my own Heart. I can only do so much as give it the ability to appear to them at their beck and call, for I am only one man. I've made a machine capable of completing such as task as this. I have no name for it, but it is important in my research. The designs have been thought up. I will now begin processing the blades and fitting each Subject with the one that matches their personality.
Subject #13 Valhalla // Entry #1 Subject #13 has been fitted next. At first, I couldn't quite put my finger on which of the two Replicas of Strength I would give him, but I eventually decided on Odin. It's a very powerful Replica with long reach and the ability to crush armor like a soda can in the right hands. These hand, I believe, belong to Dante. I will begin the formation of his Keychain shortly after I finish the fittings.
Subject #13 Valhalla // Entry #2 Subject #13 was summoning his Keyblade all day today. He didn't talk with the others, or show off. He simply stared at his hand and summoned and de-summoned his Replica. After the recreation time, I approached him on the subject of his seclusion from the group. He replied with a question I wasn't prepared for at the moment; "What is my purpose, Doctor?" It wasn't that I didn't have the answer, it's that I never expected a Subject to ask it. I told him to sleep on it and to find his own purpose. I have no idea what I was thinking by telling him that.
Final Update // The New Generation I have finished my work. Project Yggdrasil and Valhalla have been a great success. Now to move onto Project Ragnarok. I have sent my many Subjects through the Sea of Stars and have given them the most basic of things to begin their journey. I have given them a note, their clothes, a sum of a thousand Munny, and then locked their many powers away. This has a purpose, locking what makes them themselves. They will have one goal; Destroy each other. In the note, they are told to find those with a crystal keychain. Once found, they are to remove them from existence and take their crystal. Once done so, their chain and the chain recently acquired will merge with one another. This unlocks more power. I will be waiting for the final showdown between me and the surviving Subject. Once again, this all has a purpose. The Subjects will learn this through their travels. Dr. Roland Proctor, final update.
Role Playing Sample: A breeze blew through the serene area in the hills of tall grass and wildflowers. Trees, willows and pines mostly, were dotted around in some parts of the hills, but just enough to give a calming feeling; a feeling that said "All is right with the World." In the town below, the breeze cooled off the many citizens in the heat of the day. Many were shopping, but some were simply hanging out and about. The tram was running again and whoever could get in was lucky, because the cart was air conditioned. Not the best of days, but not the worst either.
The businesses weren't bustling as much as they used to these days. With newer stores with larger selections opening up, some of the older ones had to go out of business. The ice cream shop was the one left standing, though. It sold all types of tasty treats, ranging from the simple single scoops of the desired flavor, to the most intricate of sundaes. The ice cream that took the cake, though, was the Sea Salt Ice Cream. This treat was taking the entire town by storm. It had just enough salty flavors to match with the sweetness and made for one of the most delicious treats that would rock your taste buds.
Up in the hills mentioned earlier in the introduction, there was a young man. His eyes were shut off from the outside world and he seemed to be dreaming. The tall grass shot up around him and closed him off, effectively hiding him within the foliage. He was dressed odder than most and almost seemed to have a beaten and tattered look to him. The stranger slowly opened his eyes to the feeling of two ladybugs resting on his nose, fluttering their hidden wings and showing off their colorful shells. The stimulation caused the young man to take in a deep breath and sneeze furiously twice, sending the little bugs off on their way.
The confused stranger rubbed his eyes and looked around the green, rolling hills and trees waving in the wind. He quickly stood up to brush himself off, grass bits floating to the earth below and becoming one with it. A bulging feeling was felt in his right pocket as he stood up and he dug in. The first item that the strange man took out was a small pouch with a draw string. Loosening the string and opening the bag, he found shiny objects shaped as diamonds. This could be worth something. He tightened the bag and felt around in his pocket again, finding a slip of paper folded and sealed with wax.
Closer examination of the wax showed nothing but a flat, red surface. Odd as it was, the man peeled the seal away and opened the note, reading slowly as to not miss something important. The note stated his name; Dante Hyubasi. It went on and on about how his weapon, this "Key Blade", was in his possession. It wasn't anywhere in the grass; Dante had already looked. He was left with a thousand "Munny", which must've been what those things were in the pouch. Everything was still quite the mystery to Dante.
Stumped at what next to do, he began to travel in one direction down the hill, hoping to find civilization on the way.
Questions/Comments/Suggestions? Go ahead and... uh... tear it a new one, I guess. I'm satisfied.
Hey, I'm Zeph, and I'll be assisting you with this profile. ;]
While the way you present your information is clever, and will hold for the Appearance and Personality, the History ought to be primarily written as is standard. (Third person, unbiased view.) You may add the entries and first person logs for enrichment, but for the most part we need a clear overhead look at what's going on. Who on earth is the speaker? Why in heaven's name is he replicating a keyblade, and how did he learn how to go about it? If you answered these questions in the dialogue, I likely missed it, but other details are essential regardless. If some of these questions aren't actually relevant to your character, you may want to rework how you've structured your application.
This hidden ability you mention also needs to be laid out in the open for this profile, if he possesses it now but it hasn't yet been 'unlocked'. If he plans to obtain it later, or will be taught it from elsewhere, you may submit an updated profile after some roleplay and development.
Slight issue: Replica Keyblade. How does anyone know about Keyblades to 'replicate' it? The knowledge is not overly common, especially in a world that may not have seen enough darkness to call for the wielders.
I think we can start there. 7 days to edit.
