====================================
Name: Makoto Malheur
Nickname:Age: 18 (Looks 16)
Gender: Female
Species: Crystal Bearer (Augmented Human)
Position: Good Aligned
Previous Position: Pilot (Part-Time Position on board Space Station 15 in Deep Space)
Previous Position: Nurse (Main Position on-board Space Station 15 in Deep Space)
Previous Position: Waitress (At her step-dads Cafe in Radiant Garden)
Powers and Abilities:-Crystal Body-A trait that all Crystal Bearers are born with that increases all their physical and mental abilities by a certain amount due to the way their bodies were born. One third of their entire bodies are composed of a crystal-like material and as they develop, so does the crystal-like material that composes their body till half of their entire bodies or even seventy is composed entirely of crystal. Though the crystal-like material is only visible to the outside via a small growth somewhere in the Crystal Bearers body, which in turn develops as the user does. Often reflecting the users abilities, strength and health via it's coloration and shape.
In Makoto's case, her Crystal Body has evolved to an advanced state, and half her brain has been augmented by her crystal. Drastically increasing her mental abilities to the point where she seems to have a computer brain. Though unlike a computer can do two or three things at once (focused or not), in the same way that a standard person can do one thing. However, while this ability allows her to maximize some of her mental abilities without any risk or danger, her ability to learn is not augmented in anyway.
The Crystal Body trait is also not without it's weakness, as all crystal bearers have more weaknesses that they would care to show. Starting with their bodies ability to heal, which is hampered due to their physiology, and as such their ability to heal their own wounds is limited and medicine tends to have very little effect on them, only healing magic seems to have any decent effect on them. This weakness also spreads into their susceptibility of Status Effects, which can only be cured via with high level cleansing magic or the strongest of antidotes. With everything else having absolutely no effect on them.
-Crystal Magic-An unique ability limited to those born with with a crystal sticking out of their bodies. THough those born with crystals are not forced to rely or even use Crystal Magic. It is the magic that they are most familiar with, as casting Crystal Magic comes off as asy as breathing to them unlike with Standard Magic, which requires some effort to be able to use. Though while Standard Magic is just learned, and it's done, Crystal Magic is a longer process. Though the person is able to use magic fairly easily, they aren't able to use it skillfully right of the bat and must train themselves for their magic to even resemble the spells they are trying to use.
Crystal Magicians have the potential to both learn every type of spell available and make those spells stronger than the standard spell. This comes with two major drawbacks however, as Crystal Magicians start off only being able to use spells from one kind of element and learning spells from other elements requires plenty of effort or luck. Learning how to use other elements doesn't even assure them that they'll learn how to use spells from that element, and in the end, it all depends on what spells they want to learn and how much effort they put into it.
The process in which a Crystal Magician learns how to cast spells of another element that is not her own is very similiar to the method of the Blue Magician. To learn how to use magic of varying elements, they have to be exposed to the element for a long amount of time or be damaged by the element. To use elements that are not their own, their bodies have to adapt to it and their crystal has to assimilate the element and make it its own. Needless to say, it's a challenge.
In addition to that problem, Crystal Magicians have a hard time learning new spells, let alone mastering them due to the biological nature of their magic to the point where it could takes from a week to several months or years for a Crystal Magician to master a spell. Though... this drawback does come with a reward, as Crystal Magicians can alter Mastered Spells in a variety of ways. From increasing their power to increasing their range or minimizing the effort they take to casts. In addition to being able to use them creatively.
One last thing to note s that Crystal Magic can be used at a whim, with little to no preparation. However, it's still magic and it's usage requires both Stamina and Magic Power. Given how Crystal Magic gets stronger as its user does, it's balanced. Though... when a Crystal Magician is out of Stamina or Magic Power, they are prone to fall unconscious, or be hindered.
Crystal Magic Spells and Abilities:-Crystal Telekinesis- Gravity Element 100% Mastered! Learned Naturally
A very flexible spell that's easy to use but is often disregarded and ignored in favor more powerful spells. Costing the lowest amount of mana of any spell, it is a surprise that it isn't used for more often, even if it's only for minial things. But that's where Makoto takes her stride, for in her hands, the hands of a Weapon Master, the weakest spell becomes a force to be reckoned with. Allowing her the ability to bring her melee combat into mid to long range at a relatively low cost.
In terms of usage, the ability is infinitely flexible in out of combat situations where it can be used to lift objects. Though the limit of that weight lifting capacity is limited by whatever Makoto can lift, i.e. if Makoto can't lift it with her own hands, she can't lift it with the spell. However, she can lift several at once, so long as she can carry then individually. Though this added weight that surpasses her limit, does tend to take it's toll on her.
In terms of battle usage, the ability is only hindered by Makoto's own limitations and the force she's dealing with. The maximum range of her ability lies on her perception, if she's on the ground and involved directly, her maximum range is around, sixty feet. If she feels the weapons too far away, her control will become shaky and it will be harder to control. The limit of the strength she puts into controlling objects from far away, is the one she is familiar with (which is her own). The only true limitations of the spell are based entirely on the user, (which in this case is human) and fatigue. The more the spell is pushed, the more it will cost to use and the spell requires Focus to work.
-Crystal Magnet- Gravity Element 100% Mastered! Learned Naturally.
Variant Usage: Crystal Magnet-Spiral Shield! 15%
-Fatigues Upon: 2 Uses
Variant Usage: Crystal Magnet- Repulse! 50%
-Fatigues Upon: 5 UsesAn evasive and miscellanious spell in nature, Magnet is a spell that is often learned so that the user can learn stronger gravity-elemental spells, and then, left forgotten. In it's base usage, Magnet is only an orb that materializes above the users head and attracts everything with a thirty to sixty feet range towards it, and clings it to itself for a few seconds. Due to it's nature, it's also a very easy spell to use and master, even for Crystal Bearers
Spiral Shield t's first alternate usage, requires that instead of a ball, the spell is shaped into a disk and that it's effects be limited. When done correctly, the spell created a shield-like disk that the caster can use as a shield. With it's limited strength, the 'shield' draws in any incoming attacks and redirects them to itself. Which either possibly blocks any melee attacks or weakens the strength behind it (If the attack isn't redirected). This technique is called Spiral Shield, and it requires a helluva timing to use effectively.
The second variant use of Crystal Magnet, is a much simpler one to explain and use. It's also a lot easier to use in comparison to Spiral Shield. The variant does the opposite of what Crystal Magnet does, it pushes objects away with magnetic energy and the way that is done can vary. But only for those who master the ability, for users of the technique, the only variable they can change is the power they put into the spell. Either they repel with a lot of force, or a small amount, either way the spell has an Area of Effect and using it in close quarters, would have it's disadvantages. In addition to the spell being completely chaotic.
-Crystal Cure- Holy Element 30% Mastered! Learned in Deep Space!
Fatigues Upon: 3 UsesThe most basic of Holy elemental abilities, and for many young adventurers, an infinitely useful one that allows them to rely less on healing potions. Much like it's standard form, Crystal Cure's main function is to heal wounds in one way or another. With it's secondary function leaning more towards dealing Holy damage against the undead. Unlike it's base form, Crystal Cure can be used in in a variety of ways and has more practical uses in day to day life while serving as a powerful tool.
For Makoto however... the spell isn't quite there yet. Though she can use the spell to heal wounds, the amount healed is negligible and the effort she requires to use it, makes it a very unappealing option in combat. As a stand alone ability, it isn't worth using. When used in combination to Makoto's skills as a nurse however, Crystal Cure becomes an all in one tool that greatly complements her skills. In-fact, the only reason she can even USE the spell at all, is due to her time on board Space Station where she worked as a Nurse and needed to use it occasionally.
-Crystal Fire- Fire Element 1% Learned!
At the time being, the spell's potential, limits and effects are unknown. Not even an usable spell yet, Crystal Fire is the name of the first spell Makoto will eventually learn. Crystal Fire merits mention only because Makoto obtained an Affinity for Fire, and theortically, the potentially for the spell. Though this potential can't really be lost, awakening it is the problem.. which as mentioned, isn't easy to do.
As it stands, Crystal Fire allows Makoto to either start up sparks at her fingers or increase the temperature on anything she touches. In addition to a light resistance to fire.
Learned Abilities:Healer's Touch:
A special trait that all nurses develop once they reach a certain level of skill. Borderline supernatural, [the ability allows the nurse to sync with their patient and get a glimpse at whatever it is they are feeling.] Though this is not actually a fact, it is rumored that the Healer's Touch ability allows the nurse to treat their patients with unnatural skill. Though this can be debated given the training nurses have to go through.
Weapon Master:
A tittle more than an ability, the Weapon Master tittle is granted to those who have mastered the use of more than five weapons and can freely use them. As an ability, Weapon Master is a growing skill that allows the user to switch and use weapons freely, without consequence. In practical use, the weapons Makoto can use via Weapon Master are...
Futuristic Guns (Pistols Shotgun Riffles Dual-Wield Pistols)
Crystal Weapons (Swords Spears Hammers and Rackets)
Space Ships (Fighter Ships)
Throwing Weapons (Throwing Stars, Knives, Windmill Shurikens, Junk)
Weapon:Due to her abilities and training, Makoto tends fights with large variety of weapons. Though amongst these, she tends to focus on a few of her weapons more than others (these Main Weapons) and uses the rest as cover, a distraction or sub weapons. She tends to keep these weapons on either her ship, her bag of holding or a safe spot somewhere, though she does carry a handful of them on her at all times.
[Total Weapon Carrying Capacity]
Main Weapons: 2
(And)Sub Weapons
-Melee: 4
-Ranged: 40-Main Weapons-
Crystal Sword:
A sabre-like lsword whose blade is made of a magical velvet crystal that resonates heavily with magic, and crushes the hands of those who dare grip unto it's decorated handle but cannot control gravity. Those who cannot overcome the mechanism, would never be able to wield the sword, for it was made to be wielded by those with control over Gravity. The blade itself serves as a Magical Sword, poignant
and powerful to some extent, but not perfect.
-Windmill Shuriken x2-
Two oversized shurikens made of a sturdy material that allows them to cut through stuff, and spin so fast that they seem like Cold Saws. A rare weapon to find, and even harder to properly wield without killing ones self. While extremely effective, these are rarely used for good reason.
-Plasma Riffle-
One of the three basic energy weapons that everyone who worked under the Galactic Federation, should know how to use. Be they pilots, chefs or nurses, basic gunmanship is a must and this is the weapon they are handed to train with, and use. While a little outdated, this riffle is a solid weapon in it's own right and formidable when used by a skilled marksman. With knowledge on how to make more rounds for it, Makoto keeps it around and occasionally uses it for fun/
-Energy Pistols x2-
The very first weapon that anyone working under Galactic Federation should know how to use, especially pilots going into deep space. An easy weapon to wield, capable of summoning an energy grappling hook and whip if needed to deal with hostile foreign life. This weapon has two modes, it can shoot to stun and it can shoot to kill. Byhabit, it's always on stun and Makoto ALWAYS carries at least of these when wearing her alternate outfit or when she's in space. Good habits die hard after all.
Sub Weapons:
Melee: 2 Random Swords, 3 Random Axes, 2 Random Spears, 2 Small shields, 1 Rod and 1 Staff.
Ranged: 20 Random Arrows, 6 Random Daggers, 20 Knives.Picture:Base Appearance:Alt. AppearanceAppearance: Base Appearance:
A rather flamboyant girl who by looks, takes very good care of her body and hair. Who comes off as childish at first glance, with the clothes she wears on a day to day basis being for the most part, colorful or constratful. With most of her clothes or her dresses borrowing on Red, Pink, Purple or Blue colors with black, white an golden often complementing the main colors to give her clothes a 'Princess' like tone to them. Though she can and has worn more 'Plain' and 'Serious' clothes on a day to ay basis, she strongly preffers colorful clothing for the most part. The appearance she bares out most often, is the one in the picture.
In terms of features, Makoto bares very few distinguish traits that make her stand out. Namely her multicolor hair, and red eyes, which became like that due to an magic accident she had while young. Other than those, her body feature are for the most part, normal. Aside from her Blue and Blonde hair, her hair is both short and straight. Though it doesn't really matter since her hair grows in fast, and she's almost always painting it. Her skin is also very smooth, though her body type is average body, despite the fact that she's a tad on the small size and isn't skinny.
Alt. Appearance:
Occasionally, when Makoto wants a change of pace or she's preparing to go on a trip on her Gummy Ship, she changes her apperance lightly. She puts on some pink eye contacts and wears a set of special glasses that work like sunglasses, minus the black color, and she paints her hair black. Abandoning her usual colorful apparel, she zips up in a olive green full body suit that protects her from the elements in space. The suit itself can be worn loosely, or it can become skin tight. The suit itself is from the galactic generation, and she only wears it as a memento.
Personality:A curious girl whose main motivation in life is to find, break and or surpass whatever limits the world around her has. Who just so happens to be a paradoxical perfectionist who strives to master whatever art she's focused in at the time. Only for her interests to change the moment she achieves a state of perfection (Which isn't hard given her standards...), and her attention to move into the next big thing, or in some cases, a revisit of something old.
Driven to be the very best she can be cause of her paradoxical perfectionism, she bears an extremely positive outlook on life and subconsciously shows it with her mannerisms, appearance and the way she uses her abilities in a balanced manner. Though she's happy to be alive every morning, she's not naïve about the possibility of that being her last day. Even if she's working on something, be it at a cafe, a project or on someone, she acknowledges that she could be studying or learning how to do what whatever she's doing, better. With that mentality, she tends to display or think about extrovert and introvert traits or activities.
Yet she doesn't always display these traits and in-fact, in most day to day situations, she just walks on by with a small smile on her face. Silently admiring the world while going on with her day, and waiting for something to get her attention. Ether this be a misplaced item, or an interesting looking individual, that makes her want to approach and learn more. Even if half the time she comes off as awkward for one reason or another, she does try her best to be welcoming in one way or another.
However, not everything is pink and sunshine, and Makoto had long since learned that. Though it wasn't something she wanted to openly admit, it's something she was forced too and it's what made her develop some Scholar-like habits. Pulling up on the zipper of her alternate outfit, she commonly takes long retreats to the library and indulges herself with reading material. Though by habit, she tends to always read three books at a time, even it makes her oblivious to the world around her.
Due to the rules of the library, and a bad habit, Makoto becomes really quiet and heavy in both wisdom and patience when she goes to the library and reads (or whatever situation where she's forced to learn much and not comment as much). With her eyes becoming a bit bigger, she clings unto a grimoire and speaks as little as possible. Her thoughts becoming more centered while she's in this state of sorts. Even if these traits aren't limited to when she's like that, they're more prominent, as in most other situations, she doesn't show them.
If there's one thing that ruins Makoto's day the most, is a pessimistic person or an overly prudent zealot who thinks of himself as god. To the point where she doubts her optimist thoughts, for letting the world allow such ignorance to go on unhindered and without consequence. It's one of the few things that truly get on her nerves, aside from being mocked without a justified thought and unjustified killing done for money. Such a trifle things piss Makoto off, and one of three things tend to happen when she's angry. 'Hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn' becomes a reality, she leaves or she breaks something to relieve her stress.
Even if Makoto isn't perfect, she tries her best to seem that way and hide her imperfections. Which for the most part, come from her trying to be the best and failing, or some lack in her personality. Most common of which is her nature to push things till they break, which more often than not, doesn't end well for her.
Original World: The Crystal Kingdoms (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles)
Past Residing Worlds: Twilight Town. Then Space Station 5 in Deep Space.
Current World: Twilight Town (Visiting)History:Given life into a world where the use of magic was frowned on, Makoto was born as one of the rare beings capable of using Magic. With a tiny heart-shaped crystal sticking of her chest, she was branded a Crystal Bearer and disliked immediatly by those around her. With exception of her parents, which took it better than most other families would.
Cause, as she became older her parents found it harder and harder to take care of her. Day by day, more people hounded them with weapons and nasty words, seeking desperately to kill the 'abomination' while she was still young. But, it wasn't just the racist travellers that tore down their patience, as Makoto's ability with magic forced them to pay for things that did not need to be paid for. Till eventually they were endebted, and the last straw was strawn. (2 years Old)
Taking her on a pleasent stroll, her parents abandoned her deep inside a cursed wood were ferocious monsters were said to linger. Her fate was to be the same as the countless other Crystal Bearers that were brought to those cursed woods, and left to die, or so was the common misconception.
For when Makoto lost two parents, she gained six instead, when the forest's secret was revealed and the Yukes walked out from the bushes. For it seemed that the 'Extinct' race of armored bird-creatures called Yukes who countless years mastered the art of magic, had found one last haven in the world.
In this forest Haven, the Yukes took in the 'cursed' Crystal Bearers and raised them as their own children. Being the parents they would never have, and the teachers who would lovingly teach them how to survive in the world. It was with the Yukes that Makoto shared her fondest memories and delighted in many joyous experiences.
Though that wasn't the only thing she experienced, as the Yukes were very strict teachers. Very disciplined and wise, as they forced every last Crystal Bearer to master all of the arts. From cooking to crafting to fighting and to magic, all Crystal Bearers were expected to master or know to a good extent, all of the arts of the world. So that they could survive on their own, and prove the world that they were worthy of being alive.
That, was the plan the Yukes had for Makoto. Though like many things, it didn't come to frutition as on Makoto's eight birthday a great calamity struck the Crystal Kingdom. The Heartless invaded, and they were remorless. Stricking down every civilian they could, only the Crystal Bearers were spared the fight of death as the Yukes performed one last act of love to save their children. (Age 9)
After a long trip through the worlds, Makoto finally arrived at her new 'home' in Twilight Town. Once there, she crash landed into an alleyway and suffered from a light case of Amnesia. Brought on by the mental drama of seeing her 'parents' and everyone else she loved, die. Like many other Crystal Bearers, Makoto was lucky enough to be found by an adult, and be taken by them as their family. In her case, that man was the recently divorced 'David Hackleberry', the strong musclebound owner of the mildly well known “Twilight Cafe”. Where he and his employers prepared the best cake in all of Twilight Town, but suffered from not being all that well known.
Stricken by a fortunate Amnesia, Makoto managed to hold on to her child-hood innocence as all of her memories with the Yukes were wiped clean and the Heart-shaped Crystal on her heard seemed only like a fancy necklace. Even if her amnesia brought on the unfortunate fate of removing her discipline, Makoto had a very healthy and loving relationship with her adopted father. Despite the fact that David Hacckeberry often had to punish her for her wild and reckless behaviour, it was all for the best as both benefited heavily from the situation. While Makoto learned to restrain herself, and to enjoy the simpler pleasures in life, her Father gained the strength to carry on with his life.
Only two years after her arrival in Twilight Town, Makoto had not only regained everything she had lost thanks to her adopted dad. But it was also around her Eleventh Birthday that she regained most of her forgotten memories, and learned how to properly control her Crystal abilities; due to not only the training the Yukes but her experiences as a kid in Twilight Town. Yet, something inside of her made her use those abilities to her Dads favor, and she began to work at the Cafe as a Waitress. Dressing up in the most colorful clothes she could find, she made herself as cheerful as possible. Using her abilities to control gravity to not only dazzle the crowds, and draw people in, but help out wherever she could. Ether it meant cooking en mass or taking tables, she did it all joyfully. (Age 11)
Slowly but surely, her actions had effect and in no less than three years, “The Twilight Cafe” was one of the most well known cafe's in town. Not only due to Makoto's actions, but the actions of the staff which in time, followed in her steed. This in turn gave Makoto more free time, and a bit less Munni, however it was around this time that Nobody's started to appear in Twilight Town. With more free time than she could handle, Makoto began to spend her time either with her friends, at her school (or the library) or at the forest where she searched and haunted Nobody's. Even if her main motivation for killing Nobody was bad, i.e. she only hunted them to hone her skills and to limit how much trouble they caused. She also killed Heartless, but these were rarer to find than the Nobodies. (Age 14)
Much to her dismay, it wasn't even a year before her actions started to have consequences as through her occasional hunts, the heartless became aware of her and started to chase after her. They chased after her strong heart to the point where she they even attacked her while she was inside her home, albeit, very rarely. Due to a story that I won't highlight for privacy reasons, it was one of these sneak attacks that forced Makoto to pick up a new habit; to always have a weapon or two around in case of a Heartless attack. However, this new habit wasn't enough and the Heartless attacks picked up. Eventually, Makoto was forced into a corner, with both Heartless and Nobody pinning her down with Corridors to Darkness spawning all around. Taking a desperate action, she jumped through them and entered the Portals. Only to then find herself in a brand new world...(Age 15)(Note: It was her infamy that got the Heartless/Nobodys to hunt her down. After she left, they would have most likely forgotten about her and moved on. Her strong heart was a bonus, self-preservation was their goal)
That world was Deep Space, and unlike her first arrival in Twilight Town, she wasn't given a warmed welcomed. Shackles and brought to court, she was taken prisoner on board a Space Station and eventually, she was held by a court. There, she explained the situation, though her pleads weren't enough and she was sentenced to work for three years on board the space station. Though this decision was mostly brought on due to lack of Working Staff, and a lack of trust.
With her sentenced filled out, she was given the job of Pilot, and was treated as an adult. However, the job of Pilot was very rarely called on at Space Station and in exception to the weekly Training Drills, most pilots had free time to hand out. Initially, Makoto used her free time to continue her studies and so, she spent most of her free time in the library. While initially this solved her free time issues, once she learned that she could read two, three or even FOUR books at once, she quickly finished reading every book the Space Station had to offer. (Age 16)
After she'd finished reading everything in the library, Makoto spent her time around the ship and starting small talk. However, most of her attempts at small talk ended in failure and she wound up in the bar more often than not. Moreover in one occasion, she came across a small Organization of spellcasters amongst the space station that met in the Virtual Reality Chambers everyday for an hour or two.
Thinking that their organization would help her hone her abilities, she joined, though this was only temporary. For not even three months after she joined, she found herself forced to quit, after having realized that she would not be able to catch up to the clubs other members. Yet, her time in the Organization did pay off and she was able to obtain an Affinity for Fire thanks to her time there. Not only that, but it broadened her horizon and made her aware that she could become better at Magic at the station.
Her curiosity awakened, she became more observant of the space station and eventually noticed the high amount of people that came and left the medbay everyday. Drawn in by curiosity, she took in a part time job there, and felt herself at ease while she helped the sick. Holding all of the medical know-how the space station held from reading books, she turned out to be a good helping hand. Even if she was initially sloppy, cold and calculating, she eventually lightened up. With her efforts paying off when she was granted the tittle of “Nurse” just one year after she took up the job. (Age 17)
Eventually, after an uncountable number of hours working, the three years she was sentenced with, Passed. Free from her duties on-board the ship, she stood as a changed girl, with quite a reputation to boot. In fact, it was this reputation and her outstanding work, that motivated the higher-ups to give a Gummi Ship as a reward for her work, in addition to giving her new clothes and weapons. Baring her newest outfit and tools, she stood at the dock of Space Station 5 and had a heartfelt party with hew crewmates before she departed. (Age 18)With a new ship on her shoulders, she headed back towards Twilight Town to see what happened in the years she'd been missing.
[In Relation to Kingdom Hearts]
Between Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts:
Makoto was living in the Crystal Kingdom, her homeworld and then Twilight Town. She was living in Twilight Town when Kingdom Hearts happened.
Between Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2:
Makoto was living in Twilight Town, and occasionally fighting Heartless. She left Twilight Town before the Canon-Stuff relating to Roxas happened. She was most likely a friend or school mate of the Twilight Town gang, but she never knew Roxas.Role Playing Sample: Makoto carefully parked her fighter-ship esque Gummi in a vast empty crevace in the outskirts of Radiant Garden. Dust picking up around the ship as the ship's engine continued to run, while Makoto flickered several switches and knobs off. Twisting the key to the left, she ship powered off and stopped dead in its tracks.
More silent than a deadman while the black-haired pilot, Makoto, twirled her seat and made her way off the ship. Opening a door by the ship's back, (which opened upwards), she looked at the landscape and took in a deep breath of the nostalgic air.
A small crowd of critters, and Shadows gathering around the crevice she had landed. Instinctively curious at whatever strange creature defiled their norm while Makoto pulled her things towards her and prepared to leave. Flickering her middle and index fingers towards herself, four packing bags flew towards her and positioned themselves behind her.
Lifting her right foot high, she took her first step out of her gummi ship like a soldier, and like good followers. Her baggage followed not too far behind, as the door to her gummi ship automatically closed. "Black Hole Power!" She yelled out, her head turned towards the ship. The ship responding rather curiously to her words, as it started to fade away and became invisible.
Giving herself a little nod, she walked upwards and left the crevice. The critters that had amassed around her ship choosing not to intervene in the face of a creature who seemed stronger than them. Except for the small screw of Shadows that lingered with the crowd, and choose only now to intervene.
Creeping towards her like silent assailants, they kept their distance from her and waited for the right opportunity to attack. It was dusk, so it would soon be night, and with it, an ideal opportunity to attack. The small crowd of slightly-less-puny brained Shadows thought. Lurking within the shadows from which they got their name, they stalked.
But by the same virtue, so did Makoto, as she almost foresaw the eventual attack after she had arrived. For shortly after she had left her ship, she had unzipped one of her bags and brought out an old forgotten friend. Bearing a purple blade and onyx hilt, she wavered her Crystal Sword short to her heart with her Crystal Telekinisis.
But as the darkness came, and the distance between the outskirts and the town became shorter, the Blade began to move around her like a circle. Like a security officer doing patrol in a museum, the Crystal Sword waited attentively for the Heartless to attack. Even if the Crystal Sword was only a tool, and Makoto was the one doing all the work.
Then, it was completely dark and only the light of the city illuminated the outskirts. "Seems like I misjudged the time..." Makoto thougtht to herself in a sadenned tone. Having already walked two hours straight from her ship and towards the city, without a single rest in between. She had also been constantly using her Telekinisis, which didn't help her out, and made it worse. With her heart beating faster than norm, and her stamina beginning to tire out.
But what was wrong for her, was right for another, and sook the pack of three shadows attacked. Lunging up from her front, and her sides, they attempted to finish her off quickly before they could fall for help. Baring out their sharpened claws, they attempted to dig in their filthy fingers unto her.
"Crystal Magnet- Repulse!" She muttered out loudly. Thrusting her hand straight into the air, as her crystal glowed in an onyx light. The mystical energy of gravity materializing around her hand, she released a strong way of repulsive energy and sent the shadows flying away from her. The spell she had used coming off as the opposite of Magnet.
"You're very crafty for being Heartless you know..." She announced, her body gesture simply screaming out, "You messed with the wrong girl at the worst time" as her Crystal Sword flyed around her. Cutting through the air like butter, she guided her sword through the air with her finger and attack the Shadows.
Easily dispatching with the three shadows with her sword, she catched her breath and turned her full attention towards the city. It had been a long day, and the hollow attack didn't make her feel any better. It was late, but in a matter of minutes, she'd be at an inn where she could get a room and get some nice well earned sleep in a comfy bed.
