In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I didn't know wether to post this in the OOC or here, but w/e.
I was thinking about KHWD's plot. Possibly, since KH secret scens clearly suggest it, could Xehanort be brought back? It's a bit rich of me to try and suggest something like this - I'm not even a full member yet - but just throwing it out there. @-@
This probably would have been better in Plot Central, actually. But no matter.
With the plots we have right now, Xehanort wouldn't really fit in so well. Especially since we don't include BBS on WD. Some time in the future, however, he might be able to make an appearance and complicate things further. ;]

>> *coughs* we actually do include BBS -3-;; we're just not permitting those canons to roam here. >> He can't come back because technically his extensions such as: his nobody and heartless are alive and well here. He can't be brought back...if his halves are still roaming. *crickets*
Tee-hee. Exactly my thinking. By 'some time in the future' I had a thought that if the Light eventually finishes off Xemnas and Ansem, or they fuse together in some way, we may have a Xehanort to contend with.
Although we're probably getting years ahead of ourselves. XD

Yes, Xehanort could be brought back. However, as Ellie said, with both his Heartless and Nobody wandering, it would be quite impossible. Even if all three were to be able to exist, as upcoming games elude to, the process and possibility of which are unknown and unpredictable. It could invariably create ripples along each and every member of both the Org.XIII and DarkXII, which creates an almost impossible-to-govern set of circumstances and events.
However, should Ansem and Xemnas decide to ever coexist and set aside their differences...
Quite very much so... though it would certainly be an interesting turn of events. The World That Never Was no longer in the grip of a civil war, both groups under one banner, barely managing to get along. Though I'm not sure the forces of the realm of Light could muster the kind of counter-efforts necessary to combat that kind of thing.
They'd have to gather. . . an army of Light. The keybladers. Princesses. RGRUC. Guardians. Various OCs and other canons, and heck, even some world canons. The dragons that are the foundation of the Land of the Dragons probably have immense power, too, if they could be coerced into assisting. (Probably if they are told their world will be destroyed if the Darkness prevails, they'd help. But the Org XIII/Dark XII will be fighting for them, too. Perhaps some of the dragons may even split allegiances.)
When all comes together it would be an even war. World commoners, like residents of Traverse or Radiant Garden, would assist in battling the minor Heartless/Nobody/Unversed? adversaries, while the rest of the army could focus on the big guys.
We should keep these ideas around. The site plot's picked up speed, but we still probably won't get around to this stage for a while yet.
If we're serious about this, I'm very gung-ho for it. Even foregoing the Xehanort return, an allegiance between the XIII and XII would be enough a catalyst to make this happen. "Enemy of my enemy" and all that. I would love to see it happen.
Okay, not that I'm diagreeing with the premise off Ansem and Xemnas are Xehanort's, but just to get perfectly technical, didn't Xehanort take over Terra's body? Would that not, technically, mean that Xemnas and Ansem are as much Terra's Heartless and Nobody as Xehanort's?
...
Where was I going with this? I confused myself and forgot.
Xehanort actually IS coming back in the last chapter of Sora's story.
Since the pecking order went like this.
Ansem came around being all "WARG DARKNESS WARG* then Sora was all pew pew pew pew pew with his Keyblade and then Ansem died.
Then Xemnas came around and was all "I do say, Nothingness is eternal old chaps, wont you join me for tea and lasers?" and then Sora was all pew pew pew pew pew pew pew and then Xemnas died.
HOWEVER, since the Heart and THEN Body where destroyed I guess that means the two can once again join and have Xehanort with full power which is....crap

well the creator of KH once explained the following:
when a heartless is destroyed, it's heart goes to KH. When later the Nobody of that heartless is destroyed, it's body (and memories) also return to the heart in KH and is reunited with it.
If a nobody is destroyed before his heartless is destroyed, the nobody dissapears and ceases to exist. Meaning the heart can never regain it's memories or body.
with that explanation the chanches of xehanort coming back are high enough to be certain about it.
As best as it can be figured by way of appearance and mentality...
Master Xehanort + Terra = Xehanort.
Ansem = Xehanort's Heart from Terra's body.
Xemnas = Xehanort's mind from Terra's body.
It is likely though that Terra resounds in both of them. Evidenced when he fought back initially against Master Xehanort's first taking him over, his guilty look of reluctance to answer Braig when he asked if Xehanort was still Terra, and why Xemnas talked to Aqua's armor and calls her "friend". Master Xehanort never saw her as more than a pupil at best.
