In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I was planning to create soon or later a nobody character and I would like to know if the lesser ranked nobodies like a samurai type can use/summon them at will or rely in one of the Organization XIII members opening one to use them.
Well, humanoid nobodies/heartless aren't allowed, soo, if you were planning on that nobody being humanoid, that would be a no-no. And I guess it would depend on the character. Because (correct me if I'm wrong), through RP I think characters can learn to control the corridors. And I'm thinking that original charries could wield that ability IF a good reason was given. But again, I'm not sure, and I'm not an Instructor, so I might be COMPLETELY wrong........ O.O"
I thought the human form restriction was for the human-like nobodies like the Organization XIII leaders, but if that extends to other nobodies like a samurai or a berserker then thanks for clarifying that.

No, its just Human heartless and nobodies that aren't allowed unless already accepted. If you want to RP as a Samurai or Berserker, go for it. I mean... If you couldn't... Then it would be like just saying "No nobodies or heartless aside from the Organizations"
As for the Corridors of Darkness thing, I said that they would be able to, but my opinion may be very biased as I have a nobody character. Personally... I figured that with the lack of a heart, emotions, and the like... They gain that transportation to go from place to place almost instantly, Lesser Nobodies included, as it has been seen numerous times that they come and go from time to time. But I'm in no way a staff member, so I'm not entirely sure how much my opinion matters.

well just to throw this out there.
If your characters was able to travel through the realm of darkness, how would he or she be protected? Please realize that traveling in darkness can damage the heart, and the known protection are the black cloaks that Organization XIII, Mickey, and Riku wore. Without it, your character's heart would be in high jeopardy of being devoured by darkness.
Also in the Characater Development, Organization related cloaks are no longer accepted.
The same would go for Nobodies. They can't travel in the Realm of Darkness without protection, because nothingness isn't accepted to neither Light or Darkness. Darkness would devour nothingness making nobodies non-existence.
All of that is canon by info given in Chain of Memories.
But if nobodies had no heart Elaeus, wouldn't that mean they are able to wander through the realm of darkness without worry?
With what you just said, the cloaks simply protect from the darkness consuming their hearts, but you also said that nobodies are not accepted in either realm. How is it that the nobodies of Organization XIII can travel through Corridors of Darkness?
I agree with what the gist you said, though I simply have a little bit of trouble understanding the last bit.

The reason Organization XIII can use the Corridors of darkness is because of their cloaks. The cloaks pretty much give them a dark scent that Darkness itself cannot see past and see that a Nothing is there. Very vauge I know, but thats the gist of it. The cloaks protect them.
But with my HUMAN character Maverick, his heart and mind have been tainted by darkness so much that he is now under the belife that he is a psuedo-heartless/ Dark entity. Too much darkness is not part of a complete breakfast...

Then how is it that Mickey did travel through a Corridor of Darkness, even when he wasn't wearing a cloak? He jumped through one that, I believe, Xemnas made in KH2, yet... He wasn't wearing the cloak at the time because he threw it off after Goofy got hit on the head. He jumped through when Xemnas said something like "Why don't you ask your King?" When it came to Riku. Now sure, I haven't finished CoM just yet... Just recently got Re:CoM last friday, but 358/2 Days came first because... it was newer...
Another example? At the very end of the game, the portal of darkness appeared and Mickey, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy all went through it, leaving Riku and Sora behind to fight Xemnas. Again... None of them had an organization cloak, but they were just fine when they were seen on the islands once Riku and Sora got done killing Xemnas. I just don't see how this whole thing works out when there are a couple of examples where people weren't wearing the cloaks.

*shruggles*
Because in the game they are canon characters who tend to be exception to the rules, and the game designers are trying to get the point rather than being bound by their own outline.
Like how many would say Roxas have emotions, which would contradict everything a Nobody is. Namine is the supposed direct Nobody of Kairi, who heart never feel to darkness to make one.
On the subject of Namine, we learn in 358/2 that a "clone" project was being led by Vexen. Since Namine is no where near a deviation of Kairi, I suspect that Namine may not even be as real as a Nobody can get.
Reason for Roxas having "emotions", in my view of this, is because of what happened at the end of 358/2. If that makes no sense play the game or wait till we can reveal spoilers.

As far as the cloaks are concerned, as I understood it, they were what allowed the Organization to access the dark corridors, as Seed made mention of earlier, having neither a light nor a dark affinity. With the cloaks they gain that ability to be in association with the darkness, and thus use the same corridors as the Heartless. I don't think it has anything to do with protection from the darkness, as they have nothing a Heartless wants, and similarly no heart to taint.
On the subject of Mickey, as I stated, believing myself that the cloaks are not as important as some have suggested, I think one could enter a dark portal and enter the corridors if one with that affinity were to open it for them, as with Pluto constantly running into previously-formed portals throughout the game. As for Riku's failure to open a corridor before Namine stepped in and saved them, Mickey commented on a lack of connection to the darkness. If he were able to open his own portals he probably would have done it himself. With Riku's freedom from the dark hold of the Heartless, and no cloak to give him that dark 'scent' or affinity, he was disconnected from the darkness, Mickey as well, in my mind.
Overall I think they are used by the Organization to simply allow them a means of efficient travel, having only an affinity to nothingness, and no gummi ships to speak of. And for Mickey and Riku, the idea of efficient travel applies, dark corridor travel being far quicker than any gummi ship flight.
Those are my thoughts on the subject.

Well after I had made my post above, I thought maybe you needed one to create a portal, but even then... It didn't make sense as to how Namine could create one. She never wore a black cloak. Neither did DiZ, though for all we know with DiZ is that the bandages saved him from that. Who knows? Nor do we know if you HAVE to have those in order to travel through as no human nobodies outside of the Organization and Namine were shown throughout the games. No human formed heartless were shown at all, except for the Dark Sora that Riku created in KH1. Now sure... I don't know if anything was ever said about the cloaks in CoM as I have yet to beat it. I just got Re:CoM recently, and the GBA CoM I lost a long time ago, not being able to get past Riku in Sora's story (Or Riku Replica... Not sure...) But I haven't seen anything in KH1, KH2, or KH: 358/2 Days that said that you absolutely HAD to have that cloak to make or travel through the portals. One thing I think is known is that you don't need one to travel through it (As shown in Mickey, Kairi, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto), though not sure on the whole making it part.
