Name: Xemnas
Nickname: Superior, "Ansem", Enigmatic Man, No. I, "Unknown", the Boss
Organization XIII Title: Superior of the In-Between
Age: Actual: Approx. late twenties - early thirties
Appearance: Early to mid-twenties
Gender: Male
Species: Humanoid Nobody
Position: Leader of Organization XIII
Powers: Xemnas is agile, and capable of using swift combos with his Etheral Blades. He is capable of flight, and short-range teleportation. He is also quite intelligent, and able to manipulate others when need be.
Being the Organization's Superior, he wields control over Nothingness, as well as Sorcerer Nobodies. It is assumed he also holds control over the other lesser nobodies. Xemnas is also capable of summoning and utilizing Corridors of Darkness, unaffected by them, seeing as he lacks a heart.
Guard: Xemnas creates a quick energy barrier directly in front of him, which can cancel one attack that hits it, and in the case of a melee attack, knocks the attacker back a couple of feet. The knockback causes little to no damage.
Clones: Xemnas is able to create "clones" of himself as distractions for his opponents. They are only capable of using basic attacks, or Guard, and vanish upon being struck. A maximum of five can be summoned at once, but at the cost of a longer recharge time: 1 post/clone. So, 1 clone = 1 post, 5 clones = 5 posts.
Invitation to Nothingness: Ensnares opponents in a sphere of darkness, which drains their life force. If the attack is not stopped before 6 battle posts, the one caught in the sphere is killed.
Sorcerer NobodySorcerer Nobodies appear to be clad in a light gray cloak, which closely resembles those worn by Organization members. However, its face is always covered and the sleeves permanently connect its arms. There are a few stray black markings on the robe, and a white Nobody emblem at the bottom. They are ridiculously flexible like all other Nobodies, but unlike the rest, seem to constantly pulsate for reasons still unknown. They fight using magic cubes with melee attacks.
Limits: All-Vanity: A barrier surrounds Xemnas as he hovers around the battlefield. Touching this barrier deals damage to the opponent, and they cannot attack Xemnas by piercing it. Two large lasers of great power are fired from the palms of his hands- a long-range attack that inflicts heavy damage if hit. Usable once every 10 posts.
Obliteration: In an act of desperation, Xemnas surrounds his opponents within a sphere of thousands of etheral blades, which are fired off repeatedly until depleted. Due it's power and nature, it is only usable once per thread, and must wait at least 5 posts if All-Vanity is used beforehand.
Weapon:Etheral Blades: Two blades of energy that Xemnas uses to channel Nothingness through. The blades extend directly from the palms of his hands, vanish and appear according to his will, are solid despite appearance, and are used more for battering/bashing weapons than cutting. They can also be used as projectiles, either from his palms, or from any point in midair, where they can stall before firing. They can take on a variety of appearances, but the two most common ones used are:
Interdiction
Infinity
Picture:Appearance: Xemnas stands tall, with a sturdy, well-built frame (not bulky like Lexeaus, nor fragile as Vexen). He has a dark skin tone, and golden-amber eyes. His silver hair runs down to about his mid-back, aside from two bangs on either side that rest in front of his shoulders. His hairstyle and facial structure heavily resembles Terra's, only appearing slightly more aged.
In terms of clothing, Xemnas is most often seen in the signature Black coat of the Organization. Along with the coat, he wears black pants, black gloves, and black knee-high boots, with a silver lining along the top.
Personality: Being a Nobody, Xemnas lacks true emotions. He claims that this gives him a true understanding of the heart. However, he only understands the emotions of rage and hatred, unable to remember other emotions.
Xemnas shares some traits of both of his original selves, Master Xehanort, and Terra. Like Master Xehanort, he can be manipulative and cruel. He is also very determined in his ambitions, and will do anything necessary to achieve them. From Terra, Xemnas retains a familiarity with Aqua's keyblade armour (referring to it as 'friend'), and has a desire to reach the Chamber of Waking in Castle Oblivion.
Xemnas lacks any real friends, even among the Organization. The two people he could be considered closest to are Xigbar and Saix, but even that is a stretch. This makes him appear distant, and cold to most.
The Superior acts very calm and authoritative, usually making exaggerated arm gestures as he gives long, overdramatic speeches. These speeches usually are about his plans, or theories, which could give the impression that he has an ego... Which one could say he does. After all:
"If Light and Darkness are eternal, than we Nothings must be the same... Eternal"-Xemnas
Original World: Radiant Garden (sort've...)
Current World: The World That Never Was

History:Xehanort enjoyed researching the nature of the heart under Ansem the Wise at first. He rose to be considered one of his most brilliant apprentices in a short amount of time. However, Ansem got cold feet, and forbade his apprentices from further research into the heart. What a fool! Xehanort and the other five apprentices continued their research behind the old man's back, sinking further into darkness. Eventually, the six of them surrendered their hearts to darkness, creating Heartless and Nobodies.
Xehanort had stolen his mentor's name in writing, and would do so again as both Heartless, and Nobody. However, the nobody would add in the letter X, and be known as Xemnas.
After awakening as a Nobody, Xemnas sought out the Nobodies of his fellow apprentices and gave them their new names, and ranks before banishing Ansem the Wise to the Realm of Darkness. Afterwards, the six Nobodies found The World That Never Was, and used it as their headquarters, and sought out to create Kingdom Hearts. While the other members wanted it as a means to become whole once more, Xemnas wished for it's power, to become more than whole... to become a supreme being.
Regardless, the promise of becoming whole was a good way to gain members. While humanoid Nobodies like Xemnas and the other five were rare, they still occurred. Soon enough, the Organization had twelve members, and control over the lesser nobodies. The thirteenth, and final member Roxas piqued Xemnas' interest, as he was able to wield the keyblade, like his original self, and bared a near identical resemblance to a 'friend' of one of his previous selves.
Indeed, Xemnas retained memories of both Master Xehanort, and Terra. However, these memories weren't fully defined, and were more like brief snippets.
Shortly after Roxas joined the Organization, Xemnas went to the remains of Radiant Garden, now known as Hollow Bastion, intending to go to the Chamber of Repose, and visit the armour belonging to his other 'friend' as he often did. However, this time, he encountered the young keyblade wielder Sora. He was certainly capable, but not a threat to the Organization at the time. If anything, he was a boon.
However, Xemnas had a replica of Sora created, as a fail-safe. With three keyblade wielders running about, things seemed to be going smoothly. Even better, the Organization had found, and set up another headquarters at Castle Oblivion. Xemnas sent Marluxia, Larxene, Vexen, Lexeaus, and Zexion to C.O. to start experiments on memory, using the recently captured Namine. Marluxia was placed in charge, while Vexen was given the order to continue work on the Replica Project. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned at C.O. Word came back to Xemnas of Marluxia and Larxene's plot to overthrow him. Xemnas sent Axel to deal with this, and to also seek out the Chamber of Waking.
Soon enough, Sora and Riku were lured to the Castle, but instead of turning them into tools for the Organization, the two boys wound up eliminating all the members stationed at Castle Oblivion, save for Axel. To top it off, Namine was lost, and Sora was placed in a sleep to regain his memories.
It was an unfortunate turn of events, though Xemnas moved on, and turned it into an opportunity. He still had two keyblade wielders collecting hearts for him. It also turned out that Xion's existence prevented Sora from waking up. Xemnas then tried to force Xion to absorb Roxas, and become a true replica of Sora. However, she failed, and was destroyed, while Roxas left the Organization, soon being rejoined with Sora.
Once again, it was an unfortunate turn of events, but it was "probably for the best." As long as Sora continued collecting hearts, all would be well.
It wasn't until the Heartless invasion of Hollow Bastion that Xemnas would be seen. He had just been out to visit with the armour of his 'friend' again, when he went to observe the battle. However, he had been seen by King Mickey, Sora, and Co. and fled. After the battle, they managed to catch up to him. The mouse called Xemnas by the name he had abandoned years ago, while the boy asked about his friends. Xemnas responded that he knew nothing of Kairi, and that he should ask his King for answers about Riku. With that, Xemnas retreated into a Corridor of Darkness, with the mouse giving chase. He would evade the mouse, however, and return to the Alter of Naught to watch over Kingdom Hearts.
Later on, the keyblade wielder and his friends would arrive in the World That Never Was, storming the castle, and defeating the rest of the Organization. Xemnas would remain at the Alter of Naught, until he noticed a beam fired at Kingdom Hearts. Upon inspection of this beam, he found his old mentor Ansem the Wise, somehow still alive, and trying to convert Kingdom Hearts into data. Xemnas took the opportunity to mock the old man, and blame him for the worlds' suffering. Ansem retorted that they both knew nothing of the nature of the heart. Ansem's machine then began to malfunction, forcing Xemnas to retreat as it exploded, damaging Kingdom Hearts, and sending a rain of hearts down to the Dark City below. Xemnas lamented this loss, and asked Sora to go and fetch more hearts. Sora refused, and after some words, the two fought, with Xemnas losing. Still alive though, he joined with Kingdom Hearts to gain the power necessary to eliminate the "fools" who opposed him.
Sora and Co. would follow him into Kingdom Hearts, and do battle once again, where Xemnas would again lose. However, he was not finished, and faded away to merge with the World of Nothingness, waiting until only Sora and Riku were left at the Alter of Naught. Here, he would eliminate the two keyblade wielders once and for all. Though, even with the World of Nothingness and the powers of the fallen Organization members, he would lose again, this time dragging his two enemies to the Realm of Nothingness for one last fight. Yet again, he lost, and was defeated once and for all.
Or at least, that's what everyone thought....
Xehanort's Heartless had reforged himself, and prevented Xemnas from rejoining his heart upon defeat. Instead, his strong will allowed him to return as well. While his Heartless created an army of the Organization's heartless, Xemnas revived the Organization, and gave them the promise of even stronger hearts. Xemnas then tore Roxas and Namine from Sora and Kairi, without their knowledge. He also had Vexen try to recreate Sora's Heartless, but in the end, this failed like the Replica project.
Upon returning to the World That Never Was, the Organization found the Dark XII inhabiting their castle, and war broke out, eventually being halted by a ceasefire. Now, two castles occupy the world: One for either group. The tension remains however, and the two groups could begin to fight once more. Xemnas left for the Realm of Darkness in order to acquire more power with which he could destroy both the Dark XII, and the keyblade wielders. Upon his return, however, he has found his Organization in disarray, and now seeks to restore order to it.
Role Playing Sample:A corridor of darkness opened atop the Alter of Naught, as a figure stepped out of it. The figure was wearing a black coat with the hood up, obscuring his face. Black gloves covered his hands, while black, silver-lined boots were worn on his feet. The figure carried no weapon, yet he still gave off an intimidating presence. The corridor closed behind the hooded figure, as he looked up at the empty, dark sky.
"It seems we must begin anew."
The figure removed the hood, allowing long silver hair to rest on either side of his shoulders, while golden eyes stared at the spot where the synthetic Kingdom Hearts once shone. This was Xemnas, the Organization's Superior.
Something else caught Xemnas' eye. On the horizon, the outline of another castle could be seen. If the Superior had a heart to feel with, right now it would probably feel rage. The Dark XII and their castle were an unwanted stain on this world. To think that neither his organization, or the keyblade's chosen had eliminated them in his absence... It was puzzling.
What had become of the rest of the Organization, anyways? Xemnas decided to make a plan before setting off. First and foremost, he would check on the other members, and re-organize them. Next, he would need to eliminate the Dark XII, and rebuild Kingdom Hearts. Lastly, the meddlesome keyblade wielders would need to be disposed of.
Xemnas recalled his destruction at the hands of Sora and Riku. The two were certainly capable. Then there was the royal mouse, Mickey to consider. At least three keyblade wielders to dispatch... Not an easy task, but not an impossible one, either. Xemnas may have lacked enough power last time, but this time, he would not make the same mistake.
Xemnas began to walk towards the staircase down, but then turned his head to look upon the Alter of Naught once more before leaving. It looked so barren, and empty without the glow of Kingdom Hearts above it.
"You shall be complete once again... And then, nothing will stop us."
With that, Xemnas descended the staircase into the castle's interior.
