In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

New books Found a book on water-based magic while looking for tomes on inter-worldly travel. Might be worth having a look over in a spare moment.
Energy pills failure Consuming energy pills did not succeed in maintaining consciousness for more than five hours - only ten minutes more than the longest recorded time so far. Waste of time and munny.
Inventory for Atlantis Sword, Star Shard, Wayfinder, Body Paint, Hunting Knife, Crystal. Must stock up on recovery items.
Star Shard theory The method of travel using the Star Shard does not seem to be through the use of teleportation, but rather through reaching an incredibly fast speed that allows inter-worldly travel, using the 'heart' as a navigation system. If the navigation system were to be harnessed over much shorter distances, such as say, behind an opponent, could it have combat applications? Worth investigating.
Odd darkness Some thoughts about the darkness that surfaced during the exchange with Kairi. Possible reaction to overuse of as of yet unfamiliar power. Perhaps a natural defence mechanism of the heart attempting to maintain balance within itself. Not likely, but not impossible. Rather unpleasant idea of sentience within the heart.
Multiple World theory With the countless worlds that make up the universe, it is possible that in a place far beyond our reach, there is a group of disconnected worlds that operate independently of our current system, with other ways to counter the Heartless threat - or on the other hand, have no effective way to combat it and lose their world in the process. This might be that there are hundreds, thousands of worlds that have been lost to an unseen darkness. Or, if it is the former that proves correct, contact with these worlds may prove to be of great value in pooling resources and combative forces in the fight against darkness.
Shopping list For tonight - Eggs, prawns, chicken, beef, squid sauce, sesame oil, mushrooms, peas. No useable rice available in RG, so possible need to travel to LoD for that. If there is any dried seaweed and ginseng - tuna, garlic and onions on way back.
Darkness Inhibition Training By infusing several spell orbs with my light magic then engraving them with a reactive magic instruction to respond to a certain level of darkness within their vicinity, I attempt to repeatedly make contact with this inner darkness at no surplus magical cost. Hypothetically, as both my mind and body grow more accustomed to hosting this darkness, I will be able to maintain greater synchronisation with it when I enter my dark state.
So Why Don't We Go Came across an old friend (Kairi) while collecting some books - first time I've seen someone from one of my past travels. Fell asleep as I usually do and got cold water poured over me by a socially unstable ninja. Spent some time senselessly running about outside looking for her before we found her on the roof, only for her to disappear again. Decided to help her with her combat abilities - may as well get a customer for the Mu.
The Mu - Kairi Took Kairi through the basic hook sword form and magic-molding drill. Very peculiar weapon she has - wielded like a sword and yet looks nothing like one. Hook swords were the closest thing I could think of. To fulfil the exchange, she taught me out to use light magic - a very rare magical attribute, a mystery how such a novice magician such as herself is able to use it. Something very odd happened in the process however - a great physical pain inflicted from within without magical input. Kairi was obviously disturbed by it, but thankfully relations didn't break down - would've been rather put out by that. Exchanged Wayfinders - must think of a better arrangement for that enchantment. Hope I can see her again.
Star Shard A very peculiar visitor - an anthropomorphic mouse who introduced himself as a king of another world. Highly suspicious, but an incredibly intelligent individual - the sheer breadth of his knowledge is astounding. Relayed to me fears of a threat to a previous world of my past, Atlantis. Explained to me that the amulet I'd been carrying since childhood was in fact an item called a 'Star Shard' - it turns out that it is because of this charm that I have been dragged across the worlds all my life. Instructed me on how to control it, succeeded in travelling back to the Land of Dragons - cannot describe the feeling of being free from the fear of being torn away at any moment. However, the visit unwittingly brought to attention signs of unrest within the world - encountered these creatures called 'Heartless' and after a brief misunderstanding with my old mentor, Captain Zhao, learnt of impending threats from both within and outside the borders. Upon return, bid Mickey farewell and began to make preparations for travel to Atlantis.
The Mu - Synthest Was preparing inventory for Atlantis when a client entered the Mu. Seemed to have a very particular skillset - good melee combat abilities, an unusually strong affinity to fire, a unique synthesising power but with a magical handicap. Cleared his magical flow system a little and taught him to use a form of Command Meld. To complete the exchange, I tested out using the Star Shard in a combative context, which worked well. However, upon getting him to refine his fire magic to a highly lethal degree, the darkness returned and I had to subdue it. Turns out that he also has a similar condition - his advice was very informative. Wonder where he'll go next.
Wil-tem Adlantis-ag Net Gawid-in Nageb-yoh Warped to the tunnels leading to Atlantis. Made myself look more like an Atlantean and greeted the nearby ranger patrol. Serendipitous meeting with Princess Kida, agreed to go ahead of patrol to the bridge to the entrance of the city. Only moments later, a drill broke through the rock face, and had to convince the Princess who came a few moments later that I was not a threat.
Old Friend A girl I knew from Destiny Islands - first person I've ever seen from my past. A mystery even now - she holds an incredibly powerful light I've never encountered before. Optimistic and cheery - always be that way.
A Mouse King of a distant world. Showed me how to use the Star Shard - owe my life to him. Deceptively powerful and incredibly wise - much I could learn from him, had we the time.
A girl I used to know in Twilight Town - wonder how she's doing now. First real friend I ever had, but haven't seen her since I left. Always looking out for everyone - maybe I ought to try and visit her.
