In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Shoulder length blonde hair swayed in the slight breeze that blew across the rooftops of Twilight Town, where Ai, stood. She had come this to world as a stowaway on a Gummi Ship, in search of that which the good professor had made for her So far, her search had been for naught, and she had done her best to avoid those who would oppose her, the heartless black creatures of shadow However, she heard that familiar noise behind her and watched as several of the said creatures appeared. She knew they didn't want her, but she knew they had to be stopped.
From the compartment in her arm, her tessen fans slipped out, and she jumped from the roof to the road, landing directly in the middle of a small group of Shadows. Though she had no heart, the creatures recognized her as a threat and proceeded to attack her.
The sound of something running through air was heard, and the Shadows disappeared, having been hit by a spinning attack of the fans. Ai brought them back to her body, the razor metal edge glinting she snapped the fan shut. She watched more appear ahead, and ran towards them, ready to fight.
”Ka~mi~sa~ma~ Arigatou~” Emi sung to herself, as she happily skipped through the streets of Twilight Town, with no distinct destination in mind. She was just happy at this moment in time, and didn’t want anything to ruin it. ”Unmei no~ Itazura demo~” She continued singing, just enjoying the eternal twilight in her new home. Having met someone as nice as Eri almost as soon as she’d woken up in a strange place was lucky, but it had cheered her up a lot. ”Me~gu~ri~ Aeta koto ga~ Shia~wa~se~ Nano~”
Unfortunately, her happiness was short-lived. As she rounded the next corner, what she saw immediately damped her mood greatly. The same creatures from before, on her home world. They were here too. Emi froze where she stood, unable to move. The mere sight of the creatures was enough to put her in a small state of shock. She just stood there and watched as something landed in the middle of the group of creatures. Suddenly they were gone, and in their place, Emi saw a blonde haired figure but it did not stay there for long. It quickly moved on to the next group of enemies which had only just spawned.
The destruction of the first creatures snapped Emi back into reality. She realised that they could, in fact, be killed. Not the Emi would be any good at doing that. But she figured she could at least help the blonde haired person with getting rid of them. The girl started running towards the creatures, her long pick hair flowing behind her. She was unsure if she’d actually be of any help whatsoever, but it was worth at least a try. ”Hey! Need a hand?”
((The song she's singing is Renai Circulation ~ Hanazana Kawa in case you're wondering~))[/b]
The next group of creatures proved to be a bit more of a challenge, with a couple new varieties of creature. With a mental command through the mainframe of her mind, she captured images of each type she saw, then dispatched them with her fans, which were now locked open by a simple metal clip. At one time, she did lose one fan to a humanoid-like creature, and it did ran away, but a cleverly thrown fan incapacitated it.
As she fought, her sound-input devices (aka ears) picked up another voice, and she flipped away before acknowledging the voice, looking at the girl who had come up to assist her. Immediately, her mental processer kicked in again.

"Assistance would be nice."
With that simple, monotone statement, Ai turned and stood next to Eri, her fans once again prepped to fight. As she watched, more Heartless appeared before them, and a silent alarm sounded in her head.

"You'd best get ready for fight or flight. There's a powerful enemy coming."
“Assistance would be nice.” is what the girl said to Emi in reply to her offer. To be honest, Emi was hoping for her to say no meaning she could just leave and let her get on with it but, since she had said yes, Emi had to stay and try her hand at fighting these monsters. Emi took a look at the girl, who was now stood next to her, and saw her ready to fight whatever came her way with the two tessen fans she was equipped with.
“You’d best get ready for fight or flight.” Emi heard her say. “There’s a powerful enemy approaching.” This didn’t really bode well. Emi suddenly became even more frightened than she already was. ”A.. Powerful enemy..?” She barely managed to get this sentence out. ”You mean.. There are bigger ones..? I thought.. There were only these two types..” Oh, how wrong she was.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a large black pool appeared on the ground in front of the two girls and out from it came a giant black creature. A whole lot larger than the small fry that had previously plagued the streets. It completely dwarfed them, and the two girls. Emi watched as it rose from the ground, completely frozen with fear and shock. She was unable to move a muscle.. ”That thing.. It’s fucking huge!” She somehow managed to shout out, before collapsing to the ground, onto her hands and knees. ”I don’t think.. I’ll be able to fight..” She muttered quietly, ”I can barely move.. I’m too scared..”

As the brief command ran through her mind, she faced the human girl to her side, and briefly placed a hand on her shoulder.
"If we do not fight, we endanger the city, and I will fail my master. We must do what we can to stop this monster."
Then, with that, she ran at it, feeling the levers and pulleys in her body work a little harder. As she sprinted at the creature, it reared, and crossed its arms before its chest, then shot energy orbs down at the cyborg girl. Her response was to charge not away, but towards one of these orbs and jump at it, deflecting it back at the Darkside with a slash of her left fan. As it hit, the creature reared a bit, then shot another volley of orbs, which Ai was forced to dodge.
However, in doing this, she had allowed them to track on Emi. With a short "Catch!" to the pink-haired girl, she threw her one of her fans (closed, so as to not hurt the human), then jumped to the top of the Darkside with a single bound, landing a powerful kick and a slash of her fan before jumping down to avoid its attack.
"Use that fan as an extension of yourself, not just a regular weapon!"
“We must do what we can to stop this monster.” Those words rang in Emi’s ears as she watched the girl run at the creature, deflecting one of the orbs it fired at her back at it, causing it to rear a bit. The monster then fired yet more orbs in the girl’s direction, which she dodged. But then, to Emi’s dismay, they homed in on her instead. However, she didn’t notice this at first as she was just looking at the floor still too scared to do anything.
“Catch!” She heard the blonde girl yell to her. This snapped her out of her fear induced trance and made her look up to see orbs of energy flying at her from one direction and a closed fan flying at her from another. Emi stood up, and caught the fan in her right hand, opening it up. She stood, facing the orbs, still not able to make herself move as much as she would want to at this moment in time. “Use that fan as an extension of yourself, not just a regular weapon!” was the advice given to her by the blonde haired girl.
Emi moved the fan in front of her, ready to defend against the oncoming orbs of energy. As the first one came into reach, she quickly slashed across it just as the other girl had done so before, deflecting it back at the monster. But the second orb came too quickly, and she was unable to ready herself. ”Eek!” She let out a short, high-pitched scream, before managing to make herself teleport a few feet out of the way of the orbs, bringing the fan with her. Still slightly scared and, even though her teleport was short, she dropped to her hands and knees again, letting the fan loose from her grip allowing it to fall next to her.
"I can't do this.." She muttered quietly to herself.

As she dodged the last barrage of orbs, Ai, looked around her, trying to find some way to reach an advantage. Several scenarios flicked through her head in less time it took a human to blink, and all were proven irrational and foolhardy. With a level look back at the Heartless, she watched it focus on the human girl, who had appeared to have teleported somehow. And that had caught the Darkside's attention.
"If you won't fight, then defend yourself! Refuse to, and you will die."
Ai began to run towards the human girl, her single fan held out to deflect attacks, but she knew that even with her enhanced speed she couldn't reach the girl. And, suddenly, the Darkside reared back, and brought a single massive fist down at Emi.
Without even computing it in her mind, Ai jumped at the fist, pushing her overheat limit to the max as she rocketed towards the hand. It was knocked aside with a powerful kick, and Ai landed safely, but then held her head as all she saw was red.
