Name: Shudin Darcana
Nickname: The Protective One

Gender: Male
Species: Human

Powers: Swordsman- Years of mostly self-training have made Shudin fairly capable with a sword in combat.
Cure Magic- Shudin knows the basic form of Cure magic, allowing him to heal minor wounds.
Shadow Frenzy- An aura of Darkness surrounds Shudin as he unleashes a quick barrage of physical attacks upon his opponent. The attack is imbued with a Dark element. Shudin currently is unable to tap into this ability at will, only using it when he's feeling a great amount of rage, hatred or other emotions that feed the darkness. Also after using this ability, Shudin won't be able to use for 5 posts, regardless of his emotional state.

Picture:Appearance: Shudin stands at six feet, with a slim, but capable frame. He has fair, unscarred skin, while his eyes are blue. He has a mop of untidy hair, which is also blue. In terms of clothing, Shudin is pretty simple. He’s often seen wearing an electric blue T-shirt, along with a set of black cargo pants. The pants have a few more pockets than average, and can be zipped off into shorts. Shudin’s shoes are a set of white runners. Lastly, Shudin has a sheath strapped to the back of his shirt. The cloth is black, while the metal parts are steel grey, along with a heart insignia near the bottom.
Personality: Shudin is kind young man with good intentions. Socially, he's not too skilled. He gets along well with people, but he doesn't form bonds with them beyond acquaintance. Truthfully, Shudin wouldn't mind getting to know others, but he's often pre-occupied worrying about his sister's whereabouts. Add to it, that nobody has tried too hard to become friends with him either.
Family is very important to Shudin, and has been ever since his got reduced to himself and his sister. He was very protective of Alliana before Radiant Garden fell, and to this day, he still believes she is alive somewhere.
The emotions that Shudin usually expresses most easily are anger and frustration. He does still experience joy, and other positive emotions, though he tends to hold it in.
Original World: Radiant Garden
Current World: Radiant Garden
History: For the first seven years of his life, Shudin was a normal boy of a normal family. A mother, a father, a younger sister named Alliana, and himself. No major experiences... until the Unversed appeared. While their existence was relatively short, the strange creatures did wreak minor havoc. Shudin's parents were among the ones who fell to them. Shudin and his sister were then raised in foster care. It was also around this time that Shudin became more protective of his sister, and began to train himself in swordplay.
Unfortunatly, one year later, Radiant Garden came under attack by a swarm of dark creatures that emerged from Ansem's Castle. Many of the residents attempted to flee. Some were successful... Others, not so much. Shudin, on the other hand, ran through the streets, looking for his little sister.
Eventually, Shudin caught sight of Alliana, and began to run to her, calling her name. However, the world became more and more distorted, with entire buildings, and people disappearing. Just before he could grab his sister's hand, Shudin's vision faded out as the world fell into darkness.
Coming to, Shudin found himself in a town. Alliana was not with him. Scared, the boy set off to look for her. Unfortunatly, she was nowhere to be found. However, Shudin did find others from Radiant Garden, and stuck with them in this new place, called Traverse Town.
Over the next nine years, Shudin grew up with the hope of one day finding his sister. Also in this time, Shudin came to know about the different worlds, and the Heartless. Until he was 15, the boy did odd jobs around town to earn munny. When he turned fifteen, Shudin bought a sword to protect himself with. He named it The Protector.
From this point, Shudin was more capable of searching for his sister. While doing patrols of Traverse Town, he would keep an eye out for somebody resmebling his sister. Unfortunatly, he would have no luck.
When the worlds were restored, Shudin managed to get back to Radiant Garden after paying a stranger to ride board his Gummi ship. Again, he helped out with the rebuilding efforts, but was primarily focused on finding Alliana. His search continued to reveal nothing, though, and Shudin found himself getting frustrated and angry more often. He would take out this anger on the Heartless every once in a while.
After two years of no results, Shudin decided it was time he looked to other worlds to find his sister.
Role Playing Sample: Shudin stood upon a cliff overlooking the Great Maw, looking across the land below. He could see the town of Radiant Garden, and Ansem's Castle off in the distance. Before that, was a stretch of uneven land, with the odd bits of ruin scattered about. The only moving figures he could see were groups of Heartless.
The young man sighed. There was no sign of Alliana here. All he could do for now was head back to the town, and scout out again tomorrow.
Shudin turned around, and took a few steps forward, only to see a mix of Soldier and Shadow Heartless appear.
"Really?" he said, drawing his sword, "You have to pester me?"
The Heartless lunged at the young man, who reacted with a few broad strokes with his sword, cutting them down easily. Another wave lunged forth, only to meet the same fate. Finished, Shudin sheathed his blade, and continued walking.
Maybe that kid did save the worlds twice, but that hardly changes things here.
After five minutes of uninterrupted walking, more Heartless appeared. Once more, Shudin drew his blade and cut them down. This was just like most other days. He'd scout out some area outside of town or in the castle, and find nothing, all the while being ambushed by Heartless. Then he'd go home to repeat it the next day.
It's useless looking around here anymore.... It's been two years.... If she's still alive... she has to be among the other worlds...The only way Shudin could get to another word though, was by Gummi Ship, and even that wasn't a guarantee. Still, it was worth a shot. Shudin remembered Cid had a Gummi Ship of his own, and probably had access to parts for them too. He'd have to ask him later.
When Shudin arrived back in town, night was beginning to fall. He could see shopkeepers closing up, while others were headed for home. It was probably best for Shudin to do the same, and see Cid about the Gummi Ship tomorrow.
As he entered his home, he unstrapped his sheathed sword, lied down on his bed, and looked up to the ceiling, losing himself in thought.
I'll find you sis.... No matter how far I have to go, no matter how I have to get there. With this resolution in mind, Shudin drifted off to sleep.
