Name: A.S.O. Design Name: Lichnost.
Nickname: Nosey(?)
Age: Produced 25 years ago to this day.
Gender: No gender, but it's design gives it a male appearance, it is therefore referred to as a "he" by others.
Species: Humanoid robot.
Position: Neutral.
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills:Grappling Hands - Allows Lichnost to shoot his hands similar to that of a grappling hook, with a thick rope of wire attached to the back insides of his hand and the insides of his arm, while still being able to use simple finger movement. Because of awesome future robot technology, it only takes Lichnost a post to retract it and ready himself to use it again, regardless of distance. (Maximum 40 feetz.)
Tour de Run Like Hell - With an infinite amount of endurance and enhanced speed, Lichnost has exceptional speed and can run for prolonged durations. He can run for a maximum of 1 post, and has to wait 3 posts before he can run at such speed again.
The Six Gazillion-Dollar Man - Being a robot and all, Lichnost can take great amounts of damage compared to an inferior human like ye.
Disposition Drives (DDs) - Lichnost can copy and download other's general personality and nature into something of a flash drive, and become a version of that complexion at any time. He also creates a gimmick ability relating to the personality and/or character he obtained it from, within limits of his own experience. He has a maximum capacity of 3 DDs, though he may receive extra slots through future upgrades. It takes Lichnost 2 posts to download said personality, though this time does slightly affect his other abilities in a negative way while downloading and installing, it may also cause buffering while watching flash videos online. Lichnost must closely observe, analyze, and conclude a person's personality before actually beginning to download it into a DD.
- Cannot run at top speed while downloading personality.
- Cannot use the full extent of his Grappling Hands while downloading personality.
- Allows enemies a slight chance to catch Lichnost off guard while downloading personality.
Weapon/Items: He IS the weapon/items?
Picture: Pictures can't begin to comprehend how elite Lichnost is. (But I won't say no to fanart.
)
Appearance: Lichnost is a high production automation, and therefore LOOKS like a high production automation. Over his many complex and misinterpretable wires, is a suit of silver chrome metal, with several lines running across it. The metal is stainless, non-rusting, and can take loads of damage at a time. Around his neck is a separate ring of metal, connected to make sure no malicious entity can violently rip his head from his torso. Around his head are two parallel lines from the bottom of his neck to the bottom of his eyes.
His eyes are lights, which glow a bright green, and are covered by circular pieces of glass, which are of course, smudge-prone. Around his wrists and ankles are also rings of metal similar to the one around his neck. His hands have lines starting at his wrists, and run up the back of his hands to each of the spaces of his fingers. His feet are toe-less, a flaw he insecurely covers up with socks and shoes, even though he doesn't need either. His upper arms and legs are not feminine, but not FREAKISHLY ripped either, but, you know, they ARE pretty ripped...
On his left shoulder is an engraving that reads "OMUZ." He also wears different clothes for different events, but usually just wears a t-shirt, jeans, and black sneakers. I mean, it would be pretty profane to be a naked robot just running about.
Personality: Lichnost is a clean slate when it comes to personality, until he pops a DD into his system. When that happens, he becomes whatever artificial complexion has been downloaded into the selected flash drive. He is built to take a variety of personalities without his artificial mind being driven mad. After being exposed to the action filled environments around him, he's grown a bit of a permanent cowardliness. Aside from this, he still sees himself as a new step ahead of human technology, and would boast about himself if he had the basic vocabulary to do so.
Being specifically created to be similar to that of a human being, he does in fact, act like a human being. He also sees himself as a bit of a ladies' manbot, and has sometimes shown tendencies of Hero Syndrome. Since he can only use a few words, he usually "talks" to himself, and analyzes the situation in his head. He therefore sees himself as the leader of most things, and doesn't put as much responsibility on others in his goals before himself. This could be the root of why he thinks of himself pridefully.
Original World: Adadamu.
Current World: Radiant Garden.
History: Created by several main scientists and engineers from Omuz, an evil company, bent on controlling the world Adadamu, the basic idea of the Lichnost was going to be a secretive turning point for the company. The robot was designed to have the capability to feel feelings, to have a personality of its own, to be human. The reason they wanted a robot like this, was to make up for that flare of motivation of power to stay in the fight, something humans had, but most robots seemed to be lacking. It was to be created for the sake of two purposes: To successfully create artificial personality, and then to make this robot the base for much more lethal, dangerous, disposable infantrymen.
After years of work from the employees of Omuz, the robot had been developed, and after a test run, they had realized that they had created a robot who could in fact feel emotion. As the thing was seen as just a test subject for their experiment, the thing was used little more then as a blueprint for other robots, ones who would be much more useful for the company's goals. While the others were being developed, Omuz only lightly ever used the prototype Lichnost, for things such as espionage of opposing companies and foul play. After the lethal AIs started production, Lichnost had little to no value left, being kept idle in a seperate facility away from the main city centering Adadamu, to be used for future references if the anything had happened to the other robots. Years after Lichnost had been put into its hibernation, it awoke from its dormant state unknowingly by a thief who had found and begun to loot the place.
The scavenger grabbed his newly found things and ran away from the thing, which he had found frightening. When it had left its urban cave, it had found itself miles away from the city. Analyzing the encounter it had with the thief moments before, it concluded that it should remain well hidden and stay incognito, to prevent public uproar. It lived sufficiently in the outskirts of the city, witnessing noticeable events, such as the success of Omuz's domination of the planet, and the later enslavement of the human race by robots. Not having a specific goal, it roamed about, nonchalantly.
On an undetermined eventful day, the world Adadamu had begun to be consumed by creatures spawning from the dark, known as Heartless. Lichnost itself befell into darkness with the remainder of the world. Oddly enough, it was later rebooted in a street in an entirely different place. After analysis, it learned it was in a completely other world then the one it originated from. It now continues its nonchalant roaming here, maybe with a hint of anticipation that its systems will be configured for a task to aim for.
Role Playing Sample: Lichnost began his daily walk around Radiant Garden's streets. He was frequently twitching his head, observing the area surrounding him. He was wearing a light grey hoodie and black jeans, covering his metal fishbowl of a head. He was beginning to have a feeling of fatigue from always having to cover himself in public. It's not like he wanted to run around bare and allow strangers to glance at his bolts and screws, oh no. He just wanted to freely walk without having to generally hide in a hoodie or cloak, it make him look exceptionally suspicious, and seemed to attract attention other then diverting it.
He could no longer take it, he had to get out of this forever-concealed state, he had to show people his superior self and maybe some of those intricate wires for those lucky ladies. Cautiously and slowly, he began to remove his hood from his chrome-dome, being careful spectators did not die of shock from the amazing discovery they would soon witness. He had finally shaken the remainder of the hood off him, showing his brilliant robotic face to society, he was ready for the soon awes and gasps that awaited him. He stood and waited, but nothing happened, no strange sounds, except from the pants of running children chasing each other, no strange looks except a few judgmental glances. No strange smells except from the man next to him. (If Lichnost could actually smell)
His past emotion of irk was now being exchanged for a surging feel of embarrassment. Were robots here usual, or just not the strangest thing the citizens here have seen maybe? Had all this ordeal and anguish of staying well hidden unnecessary? He grasped his pale silver head and would have exclaimed if he could have. He felt a hatred of himself coming; he could no longer conclude his analyses comfortably without a bit of paranoia now. He awkwardly moved to a bench with his head downwards and his metallic hands in his front pockets, while passing other apathetic bystanders.
As he sat down in the distinct seat with his left hand cupping his face, he began to form a sort of mechanical chuckle. He no longer had to hide.
