In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Your average guy, Reain doesn't give off much of a vibe to people other than looking rather lazy and normal, which is perhaps his most notable attribute, as he really doesn't stand out much, nor does he attempt to. The young man has a fair complexion with no scars or other blemishes to the skin, aside from rather worn fingertips as well as tough hands in general, marking him as someone that works with his hands. His frame is slightly skinny and has a fair amount of muscle, though not enough to make an impression on people, in fact the best word to describe it would be 'scrawny'. Despite being around 164 lbs he still manages to look like he could be blown away by a breeze and the clothing he wears doesn't do much to prove otherwise. Reain stands around five nine, not too tall, and not too short, allowing him to blend in quite easily among crowds or remain unnoticed. His face is slightly angular with a chin jutting out that just screams for someone to punch it, almost in a mocking manner. His eyes are a slate gray, equally as lazy as the rest of him, usually half lidded, or with one eye completely shut, normally his left, which is covered and hidden by bangs of brown hair. Said hair goes about to his shoulders on his left side, cut in a slightly spiked manner so that it juts out on one end while remaining relatively smooth and straight on another, framing his face. A constantly laidback expression is normally on his face, completed with a genuine cheery smile or grin despite the lazy look in his eyes and the general lack of energy coming from him.
Reains's outfit on the other hand, is the opposite of his physical looks, at least in color and vibrance despite the majority of it being black. He wears a longsleeved light black shirt with a white line going down the middle, and the collar remains firmly around his neck like a turtlenecked sweater, just without the heaviness of the material, staying light and breezy. The sleeves of his shirt are normally rolled up so they stay just a bit past his elbow but leave his forearms uncovered, generally bringing them down when the climate proves too much for him. Over the shirt is a bright red vest that stops near his stomach instead of going all the way down to his waist, having a pair of pockets on either side and white lines running through the seams like the one on the middle of his shirt. Around his neck his a silver chain necklace with a King's crown on the end, worn there as a simple accessory though he will turn around and use it as a weapon if necessary. On his hands are a pair of black fingerless gloves with iron bands around the knuckles adding to the pain of a punch. Reain wears several belts over his waist, the first being a red buckled belt almost reminiscent to a seatbelt buckle, and two yellow sash like belts that hang loosely below the first one over his waist, each one having a pouch on the back for him to store tools as well as several clips to hold more tools, a final black belt is hung underneath the first red one, with his two sash like belts hanging over it with several clips on it for more tools to be held. A pair of black and red bands extend from the yellow belts for decoration. Reain's pants are similar to his shirt in being light black with white seams, though on the inner part there's a dark blue section and a yellow pouch is sown on near the very bottom of his pants. Finally, he wears a pair of white and yellow shoes with zippers going down the middle of them, lacking shoelaces as well.

ersonality: As laidback and easy going as he seems, Reain isn't one for doing something unless he feels like it, literally. If someone asks him for a favor and he isn't in the mood, no matter how much one might beg, no matter how much one pleads, unless his whimsical fancy somehow determines that now is the time to do it, he won't, instead most likely laying on the ground digging in an ear with all the enthusiasm of a grumpy old man despite his age. The fact that he can be so half hearted in doing things at times, and yet so irrevocably stubborn when it comes to being asked to do something he doesn't want is astounding and also childish for someone of his age, yet he clearly shows no remorse or signs of caring. His dull manner in responding to things and slow to action movements further reinforce the 'old man in a kid's body' feel, although he really just likes taking his time and enjoying life as it is. Reain doesn't hold back his words either, having a rather free and loose tongue which might cause him to be at odds with others, since he'll state whatever he thinks of someone if he finds it necessary or 'fun', in fact he finds it better when people do the same to him, as he doesn't like lying or avoiding the truth, so when people are up front and honest with him often times he'll interact better with them.
Beyond all that, the most distinct aspect of his personality would be his aforementioned trait to not do something unless he feels like it, which is especially true in the reverse. If Reain finds something he wants to do, wants to have, or finds interesting, he will stop at literally nothing to obtain it or achieve his immediate goal. It doesn't matter what sacrifices have to be made in the present or if it will affect him in a long time manner, the minute he marks something as his personal objective or goal, come hell or high water he'll get to it. It wouldn't matter if he had to crawl through muck, or betray someone he likes, going against his personal principals even, what matters is what he wants to achieve and nothing else. Reain will be able to casually, if not heartlessly determine what is of the most value and help towards completing that objective, and if something is in the way or determined a hinderance to him, he'll release it without complaint or take care of it himself if that's what he has to do in the end. In that sense, the young man can take on a rather frightening mood swing, at least that's what it would look like to others. In reality he's being his same old stubborn self and always will be. There isn't even a way of appealing to a sense of reason within him since his own train of thought and moral compass are different from that of most peoples.
Most importantly, Reain's personal motto is "Do what you want, when you want.", which sums up his stance towards life and everything else it has to offer.
[H]istory
Reain was born and raised in Traverse Town, having no idea of the original world his parents came from before they wound up on Traverse Town, but apparently it was a world that happened to be moderately advanced in both science and magics, combining both in order to accel in the creation of Gummi Ships and Blocks to be used for the ships. His father would often talk about how they prided themselves on being an open world, one of the few with the resources that allowed them to travel between other worlds, though they knew what folly could come of bringing too technologically advanced marvels into other worlds, and adheered to a strict 'limited interference' policy, attempting to be traveling merchants of sorts and pioneers in exploration. Of course such an open world was equally open to the Darkness, and when the first appearance of the Heartless came, it was only a short time before the entire world succumbed to the shadows and was lost for all time. What few survivors of the world who hadn't been swallowed by the Darkness ended up in Traverse Town, and tried to intergrate into the society as best they could, Reain's mother and father on the other hand, preferred to keep the skills and knowledge of creating Gummi Ships fresh and opened up a mechanics/repair shop in addition to it. By the time Reain was born the shop was moderately successful, though no one seemed remotely interested in the prospect of owning or piloting a Gummi ship.
As a young boy Reain found great enjoyment in 'freedom' being allowed to do as he pleased when he was small, so long as he went along with his parents tutoring and helping out with the shop as soon as he could handle a tool, which wasn't bad or annoying to him either, since he genuinely loved working at the shop. He would sit on a chair for hours on end watching his parents work with envy, usually put off and pouty when his father told him to go out and play with the other kids, saying that the machines were the only friends he needed. It turned out such wasn't the case, as he got along relatively well with the other children of Traverse Town, though he was slightly known for being as eccentric as his parents, taking apart machinery and heading into scrap yards to find parts for his own creations. The young lad found enjoyment in talking with the outsiders that occasionally arrived in Traverse Town, the shop getting a few due to their repair and upgrade business, he never tired of hearing stories about other worlds and the travels the outsiders had, only being able to imagine what it was like and hope that one day he could do the same. One of the Travelers even went so far as to teach the boy a trick, a simple harmless magic spell that could only be used to protect oneself, the reason being that if he was to ever venture out into other worlds he'd need something to prevent himself from getting hurt, and Reain wasn't much of one for hurting others unless they asked for it, only being confrontational if something was in the middle of his objective and it was the fastest way about getting it, so there wasn't much of a problem with teaching him a defensive spell, only if he could actually learn it.
Ecstatic to have something new in his life to try, magic which his parents only spoke of and he only saw through the creation of Gummi ship parts or working ships themselves, Reain was overjoyed and threw himself into trying to cast the spell any chance he could. The eccentric mechanic kid turned into an eccentric wannabe wizard, a young thirteen year old boy yelling 'Reflect!' or some variation thereof out in the streets while looking utterly stupid in front of others. He didn't particularly care, as he was having fun and he was determined to try casting actual magic in at one point. When he finally succeeded, the boy was about casting it until he passed out from overexerting himself and had to be dragged back home and scolded for being so reckless, though his parents could only sigh at the end, his mother uttering 'That's our son'. As the years went on, Reain grew restless, tired of staying in one place and wanting to see what else was out there, beyond the stars, having created his own versions off the simple spell he learned, the boy, now an eighteen year old young man, told his parents of his decision to leave Traverse Town, who stared at him as though he was stupid, but since he had the 'I'm going to do this, period.' look on his face, they didn't bother arguing the point and happily suggested he try not to get killed and come visit eventually, as they'd hate to transfer ownership of the shop to someone not in the family. However, gathering the needed information is not as easy as Reain had hoped, he is still stuck on Traverse Town; he's getting closer and closer each day.
[W]eapons Touma relies on his trusty skateboard as well as a pair of monkey wrenches marked with strange symbols, in terms of magic he only knows one fundamental spell 'Reflect' and created two other spells of his own design off of it, called 'Rebound' and "Redirection'. Rebound functions as a reflect spell, save for the fact that it forms a single medium sized shield where the caster wishes, and will rebound anything that comes in contact with it so long as the strength of the blow or force doesn't overpower the defense of the shield. Redirection functions as a barrier bound to a single area, capable of changing the trajectory and force of the object the spell is casted on, though it can only be done on Reain person, or objects he has specifically 'marked' with a symbol that allows Redirection to be cast on it.
