Position: Good Neutral (she leans towards the good side, but isnt fairly sure what either side is about yet. She is clueless to the main plot crisis because her world was isolated)

Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills: Miki has seen others cast spells and use magic, but she has never been able to do so herself. Despite her lack of magic ability she is an experienced fighter. Her father and older brother taught her how to fight from a young age. She has high stamina and very good endurance. Miki’s strength is average of that of a 17 year old girl, but she is very agile and fast. She uses her speed and nimbleness when she fights.

Her fighting style is close combat and direct. She uses kick attacks more often than punches. Miki’s offense is superior to her defense. She knows how to take a hit.

Also, she has been trained with a sword before so she has the ability to use one. She doesn’t keep a sword on her though and would choose to fight with her hands rather than a sword instead.


Weapons/Items: Miki uses a type of high-tech specially designed fingerless fighting gloves. Her father made them using a barrier creator he received while in the army of their world. The barrier creator creates light blue shields using light, a plasma like element from her world, and Thunder. He infused this barrier creator into her fighting gloves so now when she activates her gloves a light blue shield forms over all her hands and arms up to her elbow. These gloves are either voice activated or touch activated so all she has to do is say the keyword or touch her fingers against the top of the glove on the blue sensor.

When attacking the gloves can have a paralyzing effect. Miki can begin to charge the gloves up [the gloves glow bright blue, and take one post to charge up]. Whatever body part she hits with her gloves becomes numb and immobile for a short amount of time [1 post]. If she manages to hit her opponent directly in the chest with a solid punch it can lead to full body paralysis for the same amount of time [1 post].

The shield that the gloves create is very durable, but they can be penetrated by strong magic attacks. The shields are also weak against ice spells and attacks. They can also be worn down after prolonged use. The gloves automatically shut down after 3 posts, but they can be turned on again after 2 posts of recharging.

Also, after long uses it tends to make her lose feeling in the areas covered by the shield. The feeling is temporary.




Appearance: Miki is 5 foot 4 inches and weighs about 125 lbs. She has an athletic build and lightly tanned skin from her hours out in the sun. Her light brown hair is cut short and hovers a little bit above her shoulders. She has dark blue/grayish eyes like her older brother and deceased mother. Miki has a small scar under her left eye about an inch long. It’s hard to see because it’s so light but is noticeable when close to her. She also has a tattoo on her right wrist. The tattoo is the initials ‘AH' in dark blue, beside that are the initials ‘MH' in dark green, and beside that in dark orange are the initials ‘BH'. AH was her mother’s initials, MH were her younger brother’s initials, and BH were her father’s initials.

She wears a loose white, racer back tank top and light jean shorts. Her shoes are a pair of short olive green running boots. The boots have good traction for running and jumping which is why she always wears them. They have a strap running across the top of her foot and they are a bit run down. Miki is always wearing her gray fingerless fighting gloves (the ones that create the shields) and a silver necklace with a small charm shaped like a key at the end of it.

Personality: Miki is a very positive, outgoing person despite her troubled past. She is loud and is not afraid to speak her mind. Her parents taught her to be selfless and help those in need before taking for herself. Sometimes because of her temper she can seem a bit mean, but she is good down to the core of her being. She is also very naive and pure minded. She never cusses and tends to be clueless around guys who show an interest in her. She’s never even been kissed. Miki is also polite to her elders and talks with a slight southern accent (which is the dialect of her home world).

Miki is a very athletic person and loves playing sports. She tends to be extremely competitive though and makes even the littlest of things into a contest. She is very stubborn and strong willed as well. Miki never gives up even when the smarter choice would be to give in.

Miki usually handles emergencies with a cool head. Even when faced with danger she doesn’t panic and stays focused. The only time she loses focus is if someone is severely hurt around her. Then her fighting skills are diminished some because half her attention is on the injured person. She also works extremely well with a team, but sometimes is afraid to join a team permanently. She is scared that she’ll end up letting her team down and someone will get hurt because of her mistakes. Miki is also sacred of failing and bugs. All bugs tend to freak her out even small, harmless ones like ladybugs and butterflies. On the other hand she loves warm, sunny weather and eating.

Overall, Miki is a dedicated and loyal friend who will stick by you through thick and thin.

Original World: Miki lived on a world named Passim. The world was slowly falling apart because of wars between neighboring cities and nations. The world was technologically advanced and used these advantages in war often. Eventually a weapon was created to be used in the war, but it ended up destroying the entire world. Only around 100 to 200 people escaped the world alive.

Current World: Radiant Garden

History:
Miki was born on Passim to Bryant and Aimee Hanson. She has an older brother named Michael and a younger brother named Mark. Her older brother is five years older than her and her younger brother is 4 years younger than her.
She grew up in the city of Decoris which was once named that because of its beauty. Years of war and fighting have turned the city into a place of filth and danger.

About the time she was 6 years old gummiblocks were discovered which led to the making of gummi ships. Miki was extremely interested in the prospect of different worlds and watched in awe as her world began to make contact with surrounding worlds. Unfortunately, Passim shut down travel to all other worlds. It was only reserved for the military, trade, and those who own their own ships. Miki grew up with the mindset that no matter how much she wanted to see other worlds she probably wouldn’t. Even if she could Miki would feel awful at leaving her family behind.
Her father Bryant began to teach Michael how to fight when he was 15 because Michael wanted to join the army like his father. Miki who was only 10 at the time joined the lessons. As she grew older her skills increased.

When Miki was 15 her father created fighting gloves for her to use. He used the Barrier Creator bracelet that was given to him by his army commander. Miki was so excited so after her father and brother left to sign Michael up for the army she snuck out to try out her new gloves. While she was away another battle had started in the city. She was forced to fight her way home. As she got near her house a bomb went off sending her flying back. Shrapnel shot by her face leaving her the scar under her eye. The bomb had hit her house directly.

Miki ran in to find her mother and little brother, but neither had survived the blast. She got her tattoos a few months later in memory of them.

Two years later she lived in the same city with only her father. Michael had been sent to fight in a different city and she hadn’t heard from him in over a year. A mysterious siren began to go off on a normal day. Miki, along with all the other citizens, had no idea what it was. Bryant knew though because he had been informed by his army commander that a new weapon had been created for the use of ending the war. He dragged Miki to the shipping yards where he forced her to hid on one of the ships as a stow away. They shared goodbyes and she was taken off world. Miki was able to see an explosion eat her world away from an underside window.

She stayed on the ship for a few days until they made port. While there she heard that some of the Passim army had sent divisions out onto other worlds earlier. According to the rumor Michael’s division had been sent out as well. Miki then stowed away on a Gummi ship heading toward Radiant Gardens in hope to find her brother somewhere.

SIDE NOTE:: All of the above occurs during BBS and the time leading up to KH1. When Miki arrives in Radiant Garden she is in the same time period as WD which was about 2-3 years after KH1 I believe?

Role Playing Sample:

‘Stay strong McKenzie, and please be safe.'

Miki’s head shot up as she awoke from her nightmare. It was her third night as a stowaway on the ship her father put her own, and she found herself gasping for breath as she awoke from the same nightmare she had three nights in a row. It wasn’t the flames of her burning city that haunted her, or the screaming of people racing around looking for safety. No, it was her father’s troubled eyes. The way his eyes seemed to have no hope left in them. That was what haunted her now. That was the last thing she saw of her once outgoing father before he was killed on her destroyed world.

Miki buried her head in her arms and took in a deep breath as she calmed herself. Her fingers lightly brushed across the tattoos on her wrist. Her pointer finger traced the AH and MH that was raised on her skin. Miki would need a new tattoo now. She would need two new ones. Another MH for her brother Michael who she assumed to be dead as well, and a BH for her now deceased father. All she wanted to do was sit there and sob. She felt that way since the moment she watched her world destroyed. Miki knew she had to be strong though. Just like her father said. He wouldn’t want her to mope around and do nothing. She lifted her head back up and began to stand. As she stretched her arms over her head the ship came to a sudden stop and she stumbled forward into a stack of boxes. She groaned loudly and slowly pulled herself up from the heap of now mangled boxes.

She dragged her feet to the bottom exit, on her way there she passed the small bathroom that she had used for the past three days. The bathroom had plumbing and a shower. It was as if the ship captain encouraged stowaways onto his ship. Miki stood casually in the doorway waiting for the door to be opened. As it did she was surprised to see that she was still in space. The ship had docked at a small space port. Miki stepped out of the ship onto the metal dock.

“Hiya. Thanks for the ride." She gave the workers unloading the supplies a soft smile. They all stared at her in surprise as she walked away from the ship. Miki had no idea where she was exactly and she wasn’t sure where she could go. All her family had lived on Passim their entire lives. It wasn’t as if she had an aunt or uncle on some other world.

“I’m telling you, Passim sent out a bunch of their military divisions before the world imploded on itself."

The statement caught Miki’s attention and made her freeze to her spot.

“You're crazy you old loon."
“I’m being serious John! They were sent out all over the worlds. Divisions like Red Fox, Alpha Eagle, Blue Wolf…”

Miki’s eyes widened. Her brother Michael was a Blue Wolf. His entire division had been sent to a different nation on Passim and she hadn’t heard from him since. It felt like her heart had stopped beating. She silently murmured, “He could be alive."

“Whatever. I got work to do." The John fellow stormed away. Miki gazed to the side to see the younger man who had been talking to the John guy. He looked sleazy to put it simply. His greased hair was kept under a backward cap, and he was missing some of his teeth. His clothes were old and tattered as well. Miki didn't hesitate. She rushed over to the man, “Can you tell me about where the divisions went sir?"

The man checked her out and a smirk grew on his face, “Maybe, little lady. For a price of course."

The man winked and Miki furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, “I don’t have any money on me and I'm not even sure what currency you take here, but I really need to know where the division Blue Fox went!"

“Listen baby, why don’t we take this conversation back to my ship?" The man leaned forward and Miki could smell alcohol on his breath. She couldn’t stand the poisoning liquid and strayed away from it as far as possible. He reached forward and touched her face. On instinct she grabbed his arm and spun it around she was holding his arm painfully behind his back. Miki breathed a sigh of relief when the scrawny man couldn’t even manage to break out of her grip.

“Please tell me where Blue Fox went sir." She said again. He began to yell profanities and she turned his arm a little tighter making him yell out in pain.

“Ok ok! Last I heard Blue Fox went to Radiant Garden! I don’t know if they’re still there though!" He howled. Miki smiled and let go of his arm. The man fell onto his face in the dirt.

“Thanks a lot mister!" She leaned over and helped him up. The man flinched when she did so. Miki turned on her heel and began to walk down the metal dock looking for a Gummi Ship that would be heading to Radiant Garden. Finally she found a smaller one that was being loaded. She waited until the workers left to pick up more boxes then she snuck on and hid behind a stack of wooden crates. She glanced down at her wrist and traced her tattoos again.

'Maybe I won’t need to get another MH tattoo.' She thought hopefully.

How long can the shield linger? Judge it by post count.
Give it some imperfections versus being impenetrable. There are people with a variety of strength here that can surely damage it. So compare it to a spell level.

+History:

To incorporate gummiships, you should input the discovery of gummiblocks, which would be like a year after BBS, the crafting of gummiships, the discovery of other worlds (since she just ups and venture off to Radiant Garden). Without those she wouldn't have any means to move from one world to another.

+ Seeing how she's physically combative; I doubt she'd have a lower defense, yet high pain tolerance.
I'd even the playing field by her low defense being compensated for the shield mechanism of her gloves.

Also I would even encourage to have the gloves do more, since I'm snatching away her high pain tolerance. So details of her gloves? What is this other element its composed of including light and this one 'only found on her world'? Seeing at its techno-logic, I'd easily say Thunder. And you can go all technical and say its powered by particular synthesis items. Also what affect does the shield have on others?

Alrighty only thing I might add..is just have an indicator of the gloves surging up to gain energy for it can paralyze someone. It would kinda suck that everytime she pretty much touches you...you're partially paralyzed.
