Hello and welcome! While I do immensely enjoy writing creatively, much of what I do revolves around writing music. I can compose in a number of different styles, with works for solo piano, choir (mainly unaccompanied), orchestra, chamber ensemble and those for the musical theatre being some of the many mediums I am able to create.
Among these, I have written several 'character themes' which I have composed to reflect various aspects of a certain character. Several people have expressed interest in requesting their own personal pieces of music written just for them, so I've opened up this thread to accommodate those requests. Here you'll find a list of past WD-based compositions I made, as well as information and instructions on requesting a commission.
Examples of my work can be seen below:
- Kuu's Theme - [Commission Type A]
A tranquil theme for Kuu, with a somewhat lullaby-like feel in the melody that is accompanied by a constantly moving current, representing Kuu's tendency to fall asleep in order to think without interruption. The perhaps unexpected shift to a minor chord in the restless, dense and otherwise completely major harmony touches upon the sorrow blurred under deep layers of the complexity formed by his constant world-travelling and intellectual exterior that sometimes leaks through.
- To The Stars - [Commission Type C]
An fast-paced, jovial theme for Yuna and Novi, its relentless rhythmic drive reflecting their common desire for exploring the worlds on a new, endless journey, giving a feel similar to a Gummi Ship theme. Yuna's maturity, experience and caring nature represented by the elegant, lyrical flute lines helps soften the loud, excitable and boisterous trumpet bursts and vibrant synthesiser melodies characteristic of Novi's youthful, energetic exuberance. The bells and chimes represent the 'stars', and the waves of strings the wide ocean of space upon which they will sail on their adventure.
- Nocturne pour le fin des rêves - [Commission Type F]
A more sombre arrangement of 'To The Stars', its translation being 'Nocturne for the end of dreams', where Yuna and Novi are suddenly aware of the darkness of the night sky as opposed to the brightness of the stars. The melody remains essentially the same, but with a different harmonic and rhythmic structure, reflecting how the ocean of stars, though technically the same as before, somehow appears changed from the way it once did. The 'stars' do not seem as bright, as shown by the lack of energy with which the glockenspiel rings, and the journey does not seem as endless as it had initially appeared, as shown by the more lilting accompaniment that contrasts to the constant motion of its predecessor.
I am currently taking commissions for both compositions and arrangements.

POINTS TO CONSIDER- I will start work on the music as soon as I receive payment, so sooner the better.
- Please do not reply to this thread for commission requests - fill in the form below and send it to me in a PM.
- The 'additional details' section of the form is very important as I will go by this information when composing the work, so try to give as much information as possible.
- Please don't send me requests asking me to work for free - I have ends to meet and I'm afraid that in my current position I cannot afford to work without a fee.
- While I will work to the best of my abilities to create a great work for you, I am not 40-year-old professional master of his trade, which is why I'm offering my services for less than 5% of professional prices. I hope you understand that the work you will receive will not be a John Williams masterpiece.
- Payment method can be finalised through PM once the commission has been accepted - I understand that different people have different preferences when it comes to this, so don't worry.
