In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I still can't find my way around the city....Darn it. Glacio had been in Radiant Garden for about a day or so from what he understood, but unfortunately for him, he kept getting lost. He saw many people in the streets, but he was still shy of the people here. They were dressed differently then what he was used too,and Glacio wasn't sure if they had acted differently or not as well. He at least new that he wasn't in immediate danger, this was because Schutz, his magical armor, had yet to appear on him. So that was a good thing. Something Glacio was looking for was either a guide or possibly an inn. Either one would have been of use to him as of now, but he still has yet to find any luck finding either one.So he sits down by a near by wall, and starts, thinking. I need to establish some land marks or something, but, well I can't really find any that stand out to me that much. "Oh well," Glacio said with a slightly depressing tone in his voice," maybe, maybe I might find someone or something that could help me, but for now i need to find a place to rest."
Sitting upon a tall brick wall, Vito Feralborn continued to gaze over the town. Almost a week had passed since the attack on his world that had sent him to this unfamiliar place and he was still anxious to leave. He hated being trapped in this one land without any means of escape. He longed to return to the forests of his home and return to the fight. But, was his world still there, or was it swallowed by the 'Heartless' creatures that attacked? He couldn't help himself from cursing the beautiful town that had become his prison for keeping him away from his people.
A shrill "Caw!" caused him to look into the sky and smile. A large dark gray eagle swooped down and landed upon his shoulder before she continued crying into his ear. Stroking her beak the way he knew she liked, Vito replied to the bird, "No movement at all? Guess the Heartless aren't planning anything tonight." His words were rewarded a confirming nod from the great eagle and a hiss from the serpent coiled around his chest. Even without their words Vito knew what the two animals were thinking (Leon was still resting inside the soul crystal upon his belt), Avas would be twitching and ready for any kind of action while Sythe would be more than happy to avoid any kind of danger. But Vito had been hoping for action himself, the almost regular Heartless and Nobody activity among the gardens had kept him distracted, honed his skills, and gave him the sense of accomplishment from protecting the townsfolk.
As he continued to stare at the distant horizon, Vito noticed the sound of approaching footsteps. He found this odd, as almost nobody (not even 'Nobodies') even traveled down this particular alleyway. Casting his gaze downwards, his emerald green eyes focused upon a teen who seemed only a few years younger than himself. Vito's sharp eyes could tell immediately that he wasn't a natural inhabitant of this world. His stark white hair, unusual eyes, simple clothing, and the way the he constantly looked around at his surroundings marked him lost. And yet the blade he carried also revealed his ability as a warrior, just like the sword Vito kept strapped to his own belt. Remembering how helpful the townspeople had been when he first arrived, Vito decided to help the newcomer.
"New to this world?" he called down to the youth before bracing himself and plunging off of the wall. He easily landed from the 20 foot drop about ten feet away from the stranger. During the fall Sythe had remained wrapped around him (though she did tightened her hold until he landed) and Avas simply glided down to reclaim her perch on his right shoulder. Looking back up at the seated youth he continued saying, "Lost souls of all kinds seem to be popping out of the shadows lately. Do you require any aid?"
Huh, who said that. He thought, as he turned around, when the stranger asked his question.
After Glacio had turned around, he saw a man with with a color of eyes, he himself had never seen before. "Are you asking me these questions?" Glacio asked curiously," because if so then, yes, to both of your questions. I am new here ,but as you could probably see, I am also lost so I could use some assistance. The only thing I know about this place is that is it's name is Radiant Garden." He was curious as to how the man had appeared behind him, but even more so, how could he help him. "Well since we are talking to each other I'm guessing, we might as well introduce each other, my name is Glacio, or Frosty if you would like, whats yours?" Glacio had asked.

Vito nodded once at the stranger's questions. It seemed that the more worlds that were attacked by the darkness, the more certain individuals would find their way back into the light. Who was saved and where they went was a complete mystery to him, based on what he had observed over the last week.
Taking a step foreword, Vito pumped his fist into his left pectoral muscle in the typical Beastkin gesture of mutual respect. "It is a pleasure Glacio. My name is Vito Feralborn, Beastmaster Warrior of the Beastkin Tribe." Continuing his introduction he said, "And these are my companions, Avas,.." pointing to the eagle on his shoulder, "...Sythe,.." motioning towards the snake wrapped around his chest "...and Leon." With that he gestured over one of the crystals lining his belt, an emerald the same shade of green as his eyes. Doing so summoned a small green light to appear from the gem and settled to his left where the light flashed once and formed itself into a large dark brown lion who gave Vito a soft growl of affection before turning his great eyes to the new young man before him.
Returning his gaze to Glacio, Vito said "Let me guess, your world was attacked by creatures of darkness? Then you either tried to fight or flee, but were still caught up in the growing tide before finding yourself here?" And stretching out his arms he added, "We have all suffered similar fates and now we are all isolated in this one foreign world."
"Yes, you just pretty much nailed it. My home,or apparently what you are calling a world, was attacked by these shadowy...things of all shapes and sizes. I am still not sure what they were, but yes I did try to fight, I managed to defeat many of those creatures, but they were everywhere, it seems as for every one or two i killed many more just came to replace them. I was however unfortunately overwhelmed by those creatures though," he had said sadly, thinking about his last moments at the place he had called home.
Home, I wonder if I will ever see it again, and if I were to, what condition would it be in. Glacio had thought, wondering what had become of his home. What about that dream though, is that part normal, should I tell him about my dream, maybe, but is that part normal, no, never mind, I won't tell him. Glacio had pondered in silence realizing that he was making Vito wait.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I tend to think a lot. So,um, how does that tiny jewel hold that giant lion that, you call Leon?" Glacio had asked honestly. Glacio did not remember studying how to put animals into gems with Azreal, his mentor.

It’s mid-day in the inner garden of the beautiful world of Radiant Garden. The weather is sunny with not a cloud in the sky. On one of the many benches sat a teen looking out at all the amazing animal shaped hedge and lush flower beds as the wind blows sweat kisses his skin. It has been a few days since Lucas landed in Radiant Garden and he still surprised by the new world’s sight and smells, wondering how the gardens could be so lush and green with roses as red as rubies.
"Man, this is the fifth garden I have seen and by far the best looking” he thought to himself getting up from his sit, strapping his swords to his back, “anyways time for patrol”.
Lucas made his way to the main streets of town being careful not to let his guard down in fear of being attacked. After a few minutes of walking, Lucas came across two men who seemed to be having an interesting convection. Lucas turned around not wanting to intrude and began to walk away that is until he heard one say, ‘Let me guess, your world was attacked by creatures of darkness?’
Lucas spun on his heels looking towards the man whom was speaking and actually not what the man in question was wearing, simple leather armor but it looked stronger some how.
“Excuse me for intruding, but did you just say something about creatures of darkness”, he asked regretting it as soon as he said it, Lucas you fool asking something like that.
Vito listened to Glacio's short story with mild interest and familiarity. Nodding again he said, "That sounds about right. Shadows attack, darkness consumes, and warriors are ejected to other worlds like this one." He motioned towards the wondrous gardens and water fountains in question. "A strange yet beautiful scenery that I've never witnessed before, although I still prefer the emerald trees of my forest."
A small chuckle escaped his lips upon listening to the younger warrior questioning the use of his companions. Vito was used to such statements, it seemed the ability to tame and bind with animals and share power between them was unique to his own world. Or at the very least, the practice wasn't known to the inhabitants to this world or any of its 'visitors'. "I just told you, I'm a Beastmaster. Back in my world, members of my tribe can form bonds with the animals of the wild. We fight together, learn together, and learn together. This here,.." he explained, tapping the emerald crystal on his belt, "... is Leon's Soul Crystal. With this item, I can transfer Leon's body and soul into the crystal's depths until I need him. His size can make him difficult to travel around with you see. I also have crystals for Avas and Sythe as well," he finished by pointing to a topaz and a sapphire gem stitched right next to emerald.
Pointed ears twitching towards the sound of another voice, Vito turned slightly to meet the gaze of the newcomer. Another youth, maybe even younger than Glacio here, wearing a simple coat over a shirt and jeans was approaching. Vito took particular interest in the two dual blades the teen currently had strapped to his back. "Heroes seem to be getting younger and younger," he quietly thought to himself with a silent laugh. Well if this lost soul needed his guidance as well, Vito could see no reason why he couldn't help both boys at once.
Turning to face the young intruder, while still keeping a position in which he could continue to engage Glacio, he exclaimed, "You are correct young sir, pure darkness given form apparently called the 'Heartless'. I suppose you've had the misfortune of engaging such monsters. By the by, our names are Vito Fearlborn, Leon, Sythe, and Avas, and this is Glacio," Vito introduced himself and all his friends with short, directed hand gestures towards the friend in question. "Might I be so bold as to ask for your name?"
For After a few moments, Lucas began walking towards the two men wondering if they had heard him. So when one of them replied, his answer shook Lucas to his very core. For a while Lucas did not speak believing his voice would betray his composed features as his mind raced with question after question.
“Heartless? Is that what you call those things”, Lucas thought balling his hands into fists, it was then Lucas realized he had not introduced himself, clearing his throat he said, “My apologies, I am Lucas Rhodes but you may call Luka if you like and to answer your earlier question, yes my world was indeed taken from me I awoke here in Radiant Garden only two days ago”.
Now that Lucas was closer he notice that the man who spoke to him had two animal with him, an eagle perched on his shoulder and an snake of some kind coiled around his chest, and while Lucas like reptiles, birds just didn’t seems to like him all that much. Something else Lucas notice was that both Vito and the other man, Glacio he believed the name was, carried swords but remembered why he walked the two men in the first place
“So what can you tell me about the Heartless, do they have any weaknesses?” Lucas asked hoping that the information could help him in some way or another.

"Well this is the first time I have heard what their apparent 'true' name is,heartless, they did indeed fight like cruelly where I was they killed anyone they could,"Glacio said remembering his fight against what he now knows as heartless,"I can tell you how I defeated them, but it might not be very helpful, since I don't know what their true power is."
It was all new to Glacio, the people, the colors, and, well just everything here was new to him. Yes, he had wanted to leave his home, but not like this. He had hoped for leaving peacefully, without violence, even though he was, indeed a knight. He though, had never really cared for violence, while his fellow knights were always bragging about the thieves they beat or abuse they had stopped with abuse. Glacio always tried to avoid violence whenever he could. The only time he had really drawn his sword was when he was sparring or when he had fought the heartless, but before he had only used his words, never using his sword keep and he hopes to keep it like that for a while unless the heartless show up again.
Hrm...this world is weird, but i am not sure in which way though, whether it is a good weird or a bad weird. Maybe I'll find out about that later, however though, there is something I do still need though. Glacio then realized again that he was thinking to himself. "Oh yes, by the way, is there chance this world has a high magician or a tavern?" Glacio had asked. Maybe I might still be able to train,or at least figure out whats going on around here while I am staying here, so I can help out.
Vito scratched his head, deep in thought before answering the concerns of his new acquaintances, "It's a pleasure to meet you Lucas. It seems the darkness has reached quite a number of different worlds based on the lost wanderers who keep appearing."
Vito sighed before continuing, "To be honest I've only been here for about two weeks now so I can only tell the little that I know. These Heartless apparently attack a world, do something to it, and it fades into darkness. It happened to my home and yours as well it seems."
"As for weaknesses, the weaker Heartless can be destroyed with conventional means." To express his point, Vito drew his sword with his right hand before holding it at his side in a non-aggressive manner. Then taking a slow breath to prepare himself, Vito opened his left palm and summoned small flames to flick around his fingers. So long as he kept the fire small and controlled, he could keep his cool without seizing up in fear. Holding up the blade and magical fire, Vito resumed explaining, "Basic weapons and magic seem to harm them enough to stop them. The problem is that for every Heartless we slay, there's always another five to take its place. I honestly don't know if they can be permanently defeated, but that hasn't stopped me from trying here." His explanation finished, Vito quickly doused the fire before his fear could overcome him and sheathed his blade back into its scabbard.
From his right shoulder, Avas the eagle then proceeded to whisper almost inaudible noises into his ear. "Well go then if you so want to!" he called out in annoyance before thrusting his arm and the bird into the air. He watched her flying over the tops of the surrounding buildings before returning hid gaze to the others. Feeling a need to explain he said, "Avas gets agitated after doing nothing for a time. She's a bird of constant action. She's off to scout the town and make sure the nearby Heartless don't try any kind of sneak attack and catch us off guard."
The young Beastmaster took a moment to think over Glacio's question before answering, "I think there might be a wizard somewhere in town who can teach magic. I've never met him so I can't say for sure what he can do. But I probably should warn you, I've learned that natural magics of other worlds don't work so well when mixed together. I admit to knowing nothing about your power, but I can't guarantee that anybody from this world can help you."
"Power? What do you mean by that, I thought all magic was the same,"Glacio asked, very confused, "My instructor in the arts of magic said, magic was the same every where, the only difference was the thought and element you put into the magic, but besides that it was the same."
With this said, Glacio started to wonder. When Azreal was talking to me about magic, did he know about the other worlds, or just this one. What Vito said, about magic being different in each world, is that true in my case? Well, it looks like I might have to find out. As Glacio was thinking, he realized that,he was in fact hungry and he needed a place to sit down.
"Oh yeah, you never answered the other part of my question do you know where a bar or a tavern is," Glacio asked, as his stomach growled.
As Vito answered his question, Lucas felt a little disappointed to hear his new associates did not know any more then himself. The conversation continued with Vito drawing his sword with one hand and summoned a small flame in his other hand saying basic abilities and skills can easily defeat the Heartless, but Lucas listened to what was being said.
When Vito’s outburst came, Lucas reflectively grabbed one of his swords. Then when he explained that he was “speaking” to his bird Lucas lowered his hand and watch as the bird took flight.
“Just a thought but who else is hunger?” Lucas asked absent mindedly, “Me for one is starving”.
As the eagle flew high into the air, Lucas looked on with grand interest wondering what to do now when realization dawned on him, “Great howling winds!” he exclaimed quickly followed by him recomposing, “Sorry about that but Vito is correct, Glacio, than is a wizard that lives here I saw him near the other side of town he probably has a house then too”.
"So now Lucas, how do we get from here to the magical wizard's house?" Glacio asked excitedly, "Would you by any chance know how to get from here to there?", Seriously though I'm starving, but I don't want to seem rude to Lucas who just said something brilliant. Wait, I have an idea. "Hey, why don't we try to get to his house, but maybe on the way there we could stop and eat." Glacio asked hoping the others would agree. If anything Glacio was excited, he met some people he now considered friends(hopefully) and they could all help each other out when needed.
Hearing Glacio’s excitement make Lucas smile inward, it was the first time he felt happy about anything since he been this world. Thinking of his world Lucas thought of his master, Dragon, and something he said to Lucas a long time ago ‘Power is one part of being strong, young one but you still lack the will and the will to win no I mean the will to protect what is dear to you and one I hope you find something to replace the pain of your lost’. As his master’s words faded into the back of his mind Lucas realized he had not answer Glacio’s question something he was about to remedy.
Before Lucas said anything his stomach growled so loud that he wonder if the others heard it, blushing slightly he cleared his throat, “Well I think than is a bar of some kind just down the street but I’m not familiar with this part of town regrettably”
“Oh wait, Vito are you hunger you are more then welcome to join us and maybe can get to know one other better” he said forcing a small smile trying not seem dull or boring
Vito paused a moment to consider their next course of action. He didn't know exactly where the old magacian lived but he did remember that he lived in a unique house somewhere near the town's center. He also had no knowledge of any bars or taverns in the immediant area, but he could think of a place where they could find a bite to eat.
Pointing off to the east Vito said, "There is a nearby inn in that direction. I've been staying there for the past week or so. If you'd like to follow me, we can see about getting you a meal and maybe even a room for the next few day." The warrior then took a couple steps foreward, the great lion matching his pace perfectly, before turning back to see if his new companions would be following him.
