In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It was a fairly typical day in Radiant Garden. The shops were up and running, with people casually going about their business. Some construction was going on at the edge of the market, but even that could be considered ordinary. Well, ordinary to anyone who resided in Radiant Garden on a regular basis....
Arriving in the Marketplace from the outskirts of town was a young man in clothing resembling that of a medevil peasant. His expression read both curiosity, and fear as he walked, looking around wildly. This was Shorik Cadoc, someone not accustomed to Radiant Garden, or any world apart from his own for that matter. What is this place? ...Am I still in Aerion? Confused, Shorik's attention was brought to the construction equipment at the edge of the marketplace. Such strange metal constructs... able to move with the pull of a lever, or the push of a button. It was so strange to the young man, he decided to investigate it further.
"Hey, you! Stop!" a construction worker shouted as Shorik began to climb a wrecking ball crane in curiosity. However, Shorik didn't appear to hear him and continued climbing the crane. The operator of the crane became startled, and accidentally caused the crane to swing wildly into a building! "Gah!" Shorik gasped, managing to hold onto the crane as it swung about.
When arriving in a new area, the first thing a hunter does is explores and learns what he can. He watches, observes, and then applies all of this towards his survival. And, with Noel Kreiss, this was no different. His recent arrival to Radiant Garden was all of a day ago, and he was trying to learn all he could about this new world. So far, he had scouted a good majority of the city itself, but he felt like spicing it up and exploring the outer regions.
Right now, he was looking over a construction area, on one of the cliffs overlooking it. His sword was sheathed and on his back, and he was crouched so as to be out of site. He wasn't here to fight, but to observe, and observe he did.
However, it soon became apparent that he wasn't the only curious one, as he watched a man climb the crane. He started, however, when the crane swung around, and stood when the other person had to hang on for his life. With a well-timed jump, Noel hurtled through the air, onto the crane, and found his footing. Then, he raised his hand and invoked a Ruin spell, waiting for an opportunity. And, when it came, he fired the spell right into the control box, stopping the crane.
As it came to a halt, he held a hand out to the other man.
As Shorik hung on to the crane, he saw a figure jump on to it from the overlooking cliffs. The young man was startled further as the figure launched some sort of spell at the control base of the crane. After a small shudder, the construct stopped operating. At the same time, the figure who'd stopped it offered their hand to Shorik.
"I suppose I could." Shorik replied, taking the figure's hand. Once he was safely on top of the unmoving crane, he took a look at the figure. Dark brown hair, blue eyes, male. His clothing suggested he wasn't from Radiant Garden. It looked a bit... tribal, but not of any known tribes from Aerion. Another outsider it seems... Perhaps he can be of help.
"Thanks for your help." Shorik said, offering his hand, "You can call me Shorik. Who are-?"
"Hey! You! Get down here!" the foreman shouted from bellow. Shorik looked down, and saw the rest of the construction workers forming an angry mob around the crane.
"...Great... Not even half a day in this place, and I've already angered the locals..." Shorik mumbled, before turning back to the other man, "Best to finish this at another time!"
With that, Shorik jumped off the crane, and landed on one of the rooftops. He took a quick look back at the mob to see it had split in two. One focused on him, the other focused on the tribal-clothed stranger. Not good... And so Shorik ran off across the rooftops in the marketplace, until he found a spot where he could escape to up onto the cliffs overlooking the city. Hopefully the mob would give up chase.... Hopefully....
