Ok. Before you read anything, just know that I am acting like this is a new beginning for me. SO, I will do all of the optional stuff and hope that it doesn't take 6 months to get this accepted... *cough cough* Dane *cough cough*
Name: 判決 (Hanketsu, which means "Justice")
Nickname: N/A (Mostly Because I can't find a good one. XD)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Neutral
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills: Considering his history, he has a few techniques.
[glow=blue,2,300]Invisibility:[/glow] With this skill, Hanketsu can:
1. Use it for reconnaissance.
2. Use it in combat.
3. Use it just to mess with people.
However, he can only use it twice per thread, can only hold it for 4 posts, and it takes 6 posts to recharge. If another character has infrared glasses or other devices like it, than invisibility is considered useless.
[glow=red,2,300]Energy Ball:[/glow] Using his own energy, Hanketsu can take some of his energy, compress it into a small ball, and launch it at his foe. The ball can move up to 20 mph and can be dodged easily with the right timing. If it hits, though, it can cause anything from a bruise to a broken bone in the spot that it hit depending on how much speed and force there is backing it. Hankatsu slowly begins to get weaker with each use. He can use it a maximum of 5 times before getting too tired and it takes 2 posts for the ball to recharge, but 4 per use for his energy to recharge. The counter for the energy recharge will only start after the ball recharge has ended. The counter will not start if another energy ball is use right after the initial ball recharge.
[glow=green,2,300]High Jump:[/glow] More of a passive ability. This just allows Hankatsu to jump slightly higher than the average human (about two inches higher).
Weapon/Items: (I don't get what's with me and katanas, but for some reason all of my OC's have to have them.) Hankatsu wields a katana. Nothing too special about it. Just a regular katana made out of Tamahagane (if you don't know what that is, here's a link:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katana#Forging_and_construction). However, it is special to him because the sensei of the mountain was the one who originally wielded it.
...What? Did you expect some "high and mighty magical weapon"? Dude. He's a human.
Picture:(It'll be here eventually. I just need to draw him...)
Appearance: Hanketsu just looks like an average human. His skin color is a light tan and both his eye color and his hair color are light brown. He has a natural body build with a little bit of muscle around his upper arms and chest, but not so much that it shows. His attire usually consists of a light blue pair of jeans with a small tear at the left kneecap, a red t-shirt with a picture of a katana on it, and black lace-up shoes. In his back pocket sits a pair of orange sunglasses that he sometimes wears just because he can.
Personality: Hanketsu is a calm, reserved sort of person. Just going where the wind takes him, most fights that he is involved in usually only occur when someone is just trying to cause trouble. However, Hanketsu still shows emotion from time to time, depending on the situation. His greatest fear, sadly, is rabbits. The reason for this is because when he was only 5, a rabbit bit his finger and drew blood. It's a strange fear, and even he admits it, but it's just something he cannot get over. Some of Hanketsu's favorite hobbies are watching the stars and training in swordplay. He dreams of becoming a better swordsman, but it's just a dream, mostly because nobody really gets to know him well enough to train with him, anyways. He's quiet and reserved around new people, which makes others feel very awkward around him. Unless he knows the people he has to work with, he will just either stay quiet and get the job done or do his own thing entirely. If you somehow get to know him, though, he is a loyal friend and will do anything to help you out.
Original World: Dawn Mountian
Current World: Traverse Town
History:
Arc 1: Before the events of KH1
Hanketsu was born on April 26, 1996 to a poor family just trying to survive. His father, 農家 (Nōka), was a farmer and his mother, 美しさ (Utsukushi-sa), was a stay-at-home mom, but sadly neither of them had much money to spend on luxuries. Their house was on a small plateau jutting out of Dawn Mountian. The soil was not very fertile and they barely got any rain. Because of this, crops were hard to grow and sell. Nōka could have tried for a better job, but farming was the only thing he knew how to do. So, Hanketsu started helping out his family at age 7 and did whatever he could so that they could survive.
Since he belonged to a poor family, the other children shunned him. All of this gave Hanketsu the idea that "the world is cruel, so deal with it." However, this idea of his was made even clearer when his father disappeared after Hanketsu turned 10.
Nobody knew what had happened. Nōka was just farming away, minding his own buisness, and the next moment, he was gone. All that was left was his hoe and watering can. Soon after, Utsukushi-sa became so filled with grief that she became ill and eventually passed away. These two events happened within just a few weeks of each other, causing Hanketsu to go mad with grief. After weeks of sobbing and starving, he finally decided to make an attempt to find his father. With renewed strength, he gathered some supplies and went off to search the entire mountain.
During his searched, he noticed the sky getting a little darker with each day, but it just seemed like an eclipse. However, on his way to the palace at the top of the mountain, he noticed a small black creature dash through the bushes towards him. unsure of what it was, he stood there like a deer in the headlights. At the last second, a person quickly jumped in front of Hanketsu and slashed through the creature. This person was 教師 (Kyōshi), the master sensei that trained the king's army. With no time to explain, Kyōshi grabbed Hanketsu's arm and they both ran to his dojo at the top of the mountian (it was next to the palace).
Once there, Kyōshi explained that those creatures were heartless and that they were in grave danger. He then proceeded to teach Hanketsu two techniques for self-defense: an Energy Ball attack and invisibility. Before he could finish the training, though, Kyōshi and Hanketsu were attacked by the teeming heartless. Kyōshi quickly gave Hanketsu his sword and told Hanketsu to run and don't look back. Kyōshi then dashed into the heartless hoard in order to delay them just enough for Hanketsu to get away.
Running did not help much, though, because everywhere he turned, Hanketsu was attacked by another heartless. After just a few hours, his town was destroyed, and in a day, half of the world. Soon, the entire world was enveloped and Hanketsu fell into darkness, unable to wake from the living nightmare...
