Fire- Her first spell and easiest ability for her to use. Takes the form of a fireball. (usable every post)
Blizzard- This requires a bit more effort than fire but not as much as cure. Takes the form of an ice spike the size of an arrow (usable every other post)

My best friendAppearance: Enzeru has long dark black hair tied back loosely with a bright blue ribbon. She has pale white, smooth skin. Her bright blue eyes are feminine shaped but adorned with makeup. Her nose is small and slightly pointed. She is short, about 5’5”, and dainty, weighs about 130lbs. She doesn’t have very long finger nails as they interfere with her gloves but she does keep a little length on them. As a caster her hands have not been subjected to physical action that scars or calluses hands.
In her hair, Enzeru wears a metal pinwheel shaped hairclip. The three main spokes are silver and the three behind those are bright blue and connect to the bright blue ribbon that loosely encircles her hair. Her under shirt is a white halter that crosses over the top part of her back while the lower is covered by her shirt. The front is a low cut round neckline. A bright blue strap crosses over her shirt and connects to her half skirt. Her belt is a black strap with silver loops and a bright blue side buckle that glitters with captured pyreflies. Her half skirt covers her left leg and has a black sash across it with mage written on it in Spiran. The skirt is outlined in grey and tattered on the bottom with the inside being the same bright blue in the rest of the outfit. Her shorts that she wears under her half skirt are also bright blue and short. Her gloves, which double as spell casting weapons, are bright blue with black leather straps. The roman numeral two is on both of her gloves symbolizing her desire to be part of a team. On her right leg she wears a bight blue ribbon. On her feet Enzeru wears bright blue boots with a black design leading up from the black soles. The boots themselves stop just below her calf.
Personality:Enzeru is motivated by her desire to return to Spira and bring by the fallen summoners and guardians who were lost in the fight to sin or on pilgrimage. While she is on her journey she also looks for other ways than the mythical life giver sphere that was lost with Spira. She fears that she might not be able to do so, that her past failures will forever haunt her. Enzeru also posses an acute fear of large bodies of water. She never really learned how to swim due to Sin and the fact they refused to allow her to participate in Blitzball. She also fears death.
It’s no secret that Enzeru really likes fire. However, she likes to try to push herself to create a super hot flame that turns blue instead of red. Sometimes she plays with her magic, creating fireballs and rolling them in her hands. She also really enjoys reading and makes a point not to mix her hobbies.
When Enzeru gets depressed or feels like she has in some way failed, she drinks. Back in Spira she spent a lot of time frequenting bars to follow rumors of dead people coming back to life or things that can help dead people come back to life. To her, drinking is usually very productive to her cause.
She is normally a fairly serious person. The things she has experienced in life have driven her to be so. When she was a summoner she saw a lot of death she considered unnecessary and/or horrific. This has hardened her a bit to the sight of blood and death. After her time as a summoner, she spent all her time gathering information that a lot of people thought was a joke. This helped her remain serious as to keep a name for herself as being a serious person and not one to joke, especially about bring the dead back to life. Which was not only considered impossible but also a taboo. This is not to say that in the right company she won’t loosen up a bit and have some fun. Normally it takes good natured, hyper, or laid back people.
When in a group she tries to carry all the weight no matter who is considered leader. Enzeru does not like to see those she considers friends burdened by anything. In hazardous situations she tries to protect others, often ending up hurt as she wears little protection and magic can only do so much. If there is an option to talk first and cast fire on someone later, she will take it. She tries to fight with her brain as much as her spells but sometimes doesn’t think about herself in a fight as much as she does others. She doesn’t want to see anyone else die, especially for her sake.
Sometimes, due to her age, she will play a motherly or older sister role. This usually happens when she tries to keep the peace or protect someone from something dangerous or stupid. She has been known to become attached to younger people who are high energy and feels that their energy revitalizes her.
Her two best kept secrets from her time as a summoner was that she looked up to Braska like a hero and that she admired Auron. She also respected Jecht but thought he was way too brash to be a guardian and often spoke ill of him because of it. It wasn’t until his ‘death’ when Braska defeated Sin that she stopped.
Enzeru suspects that she might be dead but she refuses to believe it or accept it. Every time someone accuses her she accuses them right back. She is indeed unsent but tries not to let it slow her down. This denial has eventually led her to believe she is actually alive as to escape her fear of dieing.
Original World: Spira (Final Fantasy10)
Current World: Radiant Garden
History:Enzeru was born to two priests who were faithful Yevonites. She grew up in a loving and very spiritual household. As soon as she could speak she was being trained in the temple to become a summoner. The temple attempted to try something different with her when they say she had a talent for black magic and a small ability for healing. They tried to train her up to be a physical fighter as well but after an accident where she nearly lost her life, they scrapped the idea all together. Instead they worked her hard enough to get her up to speed with healing and summoning. This left her little time for friends.
Durring her training her parents went on a pilgrimage of their own, not a summoner's pilgrimage but one of a priest, and their boat was lost at sea. Sin was blamed, naturally. The temple priests told her they were traveling to pray for her safty when she left on pilgrimage. This caused Enzeru to feel responsible for their deaths and go into a depression. After a while she stopped blaming herself and swore vengeance on Sin.
She worked harder than before and gained her first aeon soon after another summoner, one she grew up around but never cared to try to be friends with, Braska. She admired his skill, but throught he was both foolish and brave for leaving on pilgrimage with a family at home. She later discovered his guardians were competent fighters and wished she herself had guardians. Hours after they had left on pilgrimage, she did as well. The difference was, she was alone. Although she wanted to have company on her journey, Enzeru could not bright it upon herself to ask anyone to risk their life for her or with her. The more she learned about Braska and his guardians from her eavesdropping and casual observance the more she wanted to beat them to Sin. Not just because she wanted to show them up but because two of them had children at home and she didn't want to see any more kids lose their parents to Sin.
It was a long hard road, barely keeping a step behind the other summoner and his guardians by herself. However, she continued to refuse any offers by anyone looking to become a guardian. Near the end of her journey, Enzeru managed to pull ahead of them. She reached Yunalesca alone and was told she would have to turn back and find a guardian to become the new Sin. Angry that the founder of Yevon would suggest such a thing, she attacked and was struck down. Enzeru woke up a day later in an Albhed inn just in time to answer a call for a healer. She wasn't the best healer but was the only one in the inn. After she was told that Braska's guardian Auron had climbed down from Mt. Gagazet badly injured she grabbed a chocobo and ran it as hard as she could until they reached the home of the Ronso. By the time she reached there, it was too late. Braska had defeated Sin and Jecht had become Sin. The AlBhed whom owned the inn offered to look after the body. The Ronso looked after her.
A couple years later Enzeru had mentally recovered. This time her vendetta was against Yevon. She wanted to bring down the temples and bring together a team to fight Against Yunalesca and Yevon. She hated that she couldn't do it herself. But if she nor Auron could defeat Yunalesca on their own then it would take more, a lot more, strength. She decided her first temple would be a small one on an island with few people; Besaid. When she arrived there she learned that Braska's daughter had been sent here, of all places, and had talent to become a great summoner. Fearing the girl would get hurt in the crossfire, Enzeru left. She went straight to Bevelle and waited for the right time to strike the city.
Years passed and the mage never got the right chance. However, she began to hear rumors that Auron was alive and set out to look for him. If he could be alive then maybe there was a way to bring back others who had died. Instead of a vendetta of death Enzeru decided she needed to instead seek life. Those strong summoners who were able to take down Sin in the past, gathered together, would make a perfect final defeat for Sin. Once again she found herself one step behind him, always having just missed him only to hear stories of his journey with Braska's daughter. It wasn't long before she learned that little Yuna had defeated Sin along with her guardians and was still alive, no one was sacrificed. She began to wonder if it was time to submit to the new generation. However, during a celebration in a bar, Enzeru began to hear whispers of a dress sphere that could bring back dead people. This sent her on a new journey. Now all she wanted to do was to bring people back and end the suffering of those who lost loved ones.
Every year since the death of Braska and his guardians, Enzeru returend to the Farplane to pay her respects to the fallen summoner. She didn't start seeing Auron or Jecht until after Yuna defeated Sin for the last time. It wasn't long after that it was closed down because it was supposed to be unstable. Enzeru refused to be kept from her yearly ritual. She forced her way past the guards and rushed to the platform. She thought of the three, as she normally did, but Auron wasn't there. As soon as she discovered this, darkness descended on the Farplane and she lost consciousness.
She woke later in Radiant Garden to the sound of metal clashing. She fought hard against the overwhelming numbers of devils that stood in her her way, smiting them with fire and ice. Enzeru barely made her way to a strange building where she locked herself in a room until the fighting was over. She knew nothing of anyone else being here and thought that the new kind of fiend is what ruled the strange dream she woke up in. It was later she would meet a little girl, who lived in the house she took shelter in, who told Enzeru the truth. This wasn't a dream, it was another world.
(Timeline Note: She woke near the end of the second game during the battle. Yes she was sleeping for a while but that was due to the pyreflies not activating properly. Her long sleep is also why her magic is weaker.)
Role Playing Sample: Enzeru felt herself falling. It was as if the darkness around her had swallowed her up and threw her into itself. It felt as if it would last forever. She wondered if this was what dieing felt like and if she had died in the Farplane when the darkness took her. Then suddenly, it was as if the ground materialized under her. For a moment she laid there, trying to make sense of what had happened. Until a small voice called out to her.
“Hey, you, open your eyes. You‘re alive.”
Enzeru, not really thinking about it, did was she was asked. She was sitting in a strange room that reminded her a little of Bevelle except everything was dark save for the stained glass window before her and the mirroring stained glass on the ground under her. There were images all around the circle that reminded her of her life. In the center was an image of her in Bevelle, blue flames surrounding her.
“What is this? Where am I?”
For a moment there was no answer and Enzeru shifted uneasily. Before she could repeat herself, there was an answer. The same girl’s voice as before.
“This is the heart. You are here. This is your time to reflect on the past and awaken.”
The dark haired woman tilted her head, unsure what to make of this strange voice speaking to her. Certainly it couldn’t hurt her and surely that evil darkness that grabbed her wouldn’t sound like this. Though it sounded like a child speaking, it was as if the child had lived many lifetimes.
“I’m not sure what you mean.”
“You will be. Now wake up.”
The last words in the child’s voice echoed in Enzeru’s head and turned into the sound of clanging metal. Again, she opened her eyes but this time there was no ornate stained glass to greet her. There was a dusty cobble street, completely voice of people.
In the distance, the sound of metal could be heard; scraping, clanging, banging. The sound was coming closer. Unsure what to make of this, Enzeru scrambled to her feet. She began to think to herself that maybe this would be someone who could help her figure out where in Spira she was, if she was even in Spira anymore. For a moment, the mage wondered if this was the famous Zanarkand before it became ruins. A quick glance around told her it was unlikely. There wasn’t a single sign of anything to do with blitz ball. It was supposed to be a bigger deal back then than it was in her own time.
Now the clanging metal was closer. Slowly, they appeared from the shadows, the dark soldiers in armor. Following them were the little shadows. They seemed to crawl over every surface as if seeking something. For a moment she stood still, observing them with bated breath. Then, as if they were one entity, they turned and saw her. The shadows surrounded her and began to lunge at her while the soldiers blindly rushed forward for an assault, missing her when she jumped out of their way. Enzeru picked herself up off the ground and dusted off her half skirt. She pursed her lips and glared at the foes blocking her path from all sides.
“You things are messing with the wrong person. I’m in no mood. This is your only warning.”
There was no response from the bullies. She barely managed to dodge one of the little shadows as it leapt for her right side. Pursing her lips, she looked for an escape. There was a weak point in their formation where the shadow had jumped from. Creating a fireball in each hand, she stalked forward. Then she began to throw fire spells at anything in her way.
“I warned you.”
Putting her hands together in front of her she attempted a larger attack. It failed. Quickly, she switched back to fire attacks.
“What is this, why did that not work?”
Once the way was clear, she ran as fast as she could from the shadows, not bothering to stop and look back. She turned left, right, and right again to try to lose them. Then she came to a dead end. To her right there was a door. She tried the handle and to her surprise, it worked. Enzeru hid herself inside and locked the door. She grabbed a nearby chair and propped the back under the handle as tightly as she could.
Turning around, the mage was able to view her surroundings for the first time. She had apparently run into someone’s home to hide. She knew she had no choice in the matter and that those things would have killed her or worse.
“What were those things?”
Enzeru asked her question out loud and never expected an answer. As luck would have it, she got one anyway. The voice of a little girl responded.
“They’re heartless.”
“Yeah, I would say. Nothing with a heart attacks like that.”
“No, I mean that’s what they’re called.”
“Oh is that… wait a minute. Who are you? Are you the voice from my dream?”
From the doorway into another room, the girl emerged. She was wearing a pink sundress and matching shoes. Her brown hair was in two braids. She smiled at her impromptu guest and waved. Enzeru walked over to her and bent down to the girl’s level to speak. Surely the child was no more than about eight.
“Hello, I’m sorry I barged into your house like this. They chased me and this was the only place I could hide.”
“I know, you’re not the first person to run in here. You should go see the wizard, everyone else did.”
“Then that is what I will do. Where can I find him and how can I get past all of that out there?”
“He’s in the strange house. You have to be sneaky to make it to his house. A lot of people make it there but some don’t. If you leave when the sun is highest, you might make it there. That’s what most of the ones who meet him say they did.”
“It makes sense, those things do look like living shadows. Thank you. I’ll leave as soon as I can tomorrow.”
That night the girl helped Enzeru settle in so that she could leave the next day to look for the wizard. A lot of the buildings around here looked the same or like other buildings. Certainly all the had to do was look for the one that stood out from the rest and that would be her target. Maybe she could go to the roof of this house to get a better view before leaving out.
As the thoughts and plans ran through her head that night, it was difficult to sleep. Enzeru knew she had to get back to Spira no matter what. That was her home and something, or someone, was attacking it. The people there had suffered enough with Sin and they deserved to life their lives in relative safety. No more children should lose their parents. She glanced over at the sleeping girl and wondered if that had happened to her as well. Slowly, the mage was taken by sleep. Her dreams would be much the same as before. The stained glass window, the voice, the words; everything played over and over again in her head.
Questions/Comments/Suggestions? Is it alright for her to be an unsent as long as I explain the trapped pyre flies in her belt buckle?
Could the travel between worlds have brought her back to life completely?
Is it alright that I mentioned inactive canons in my profile but not in a way that would affect their story outside of what is canon?
Over time can I add more spells to my character?
