In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

So I want my character to have a non-key blade weapon for a long period of time before EVENTUALLY achieving a key blade. But I'm wondering. Having a non-key blade weapon does it make me weaker then key blade weilders?
Working up to a keyblade in the future is the right mindset to be in on this site. Aside from canons (even canon character keyblade-wielders require well-created applications), we don't allow members to start with keyblades. However, we are going to be opening up contests again to allow the possibility for more to be earned down the road. You can expect this in the coming revamp!
As for making you any weaker - not at all. Everyone's power is seen on more of an equal plane here, and it's up to the RPer to come up with creative ways to use what they have. So, someone wielding a gun, and someone well versed in the ability to fight with turtle shells... might actually be on fairly equal terms, as long as the RPers were able to feasibly make that happen.
I hope this clarifies any question you had. ^_^ Let me know if I can help with anything else! -Era
