In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Cyrus does not hail from any particular game, or series of note. The concept for his abilities does however draw influence from the Magick Archer and Assassin class found in the game Dragon's Dogma.
What was the inspiration for them / do they embody a particular feeling or emotion?

Species:
Genome
A race of artificially created beings. Designed in such a way that they could be easily mistaken for human, if not for their unnaturally white hair and glowing yellow eyes. Their bodies were designed to handle the harsh and unforgiving Badlands of Shadespire. This design allowed for increase durable and a greater talent for adapting to hostile environment. Each Genome also comes pre programmed with a set of skills best fitting for the type of work they were specifically designed for. In most cases this results with skills more inlined with that of a hunter, as Genomes were mass produced for the gathering of food out in the Badlands.
A unforeseen flaw in the creation of the Genomes race resulted in them always having a natural affinity for dark magick. This 'taint' within their very makeup causes most members of the species to be hostile, crude, and quick tempered. Which would prove troublesome to the humans that created them but alas they have a programmed desire to serve and see to the survival of the humans that called Shadespire home. There have been known cases of a Genome's will being able to overpower this desire but such individuals are always quickly dealt with. It is possible to remove the desire to serve but the process leaves most Genome's with further mental scarring and forces them to live the remained of their lives within the Badlands.
In terms of life expectancy the species tends to live as long as your typical human. There have been a few recorded cases of Genomes with accelerated aging, in these cases the Genomes have only been known to live to be in their late twenties. Genomes are viewed as a lower class of being within their society, even with all they do ensure the survival of the Shadespire people. This has resulted in a thick tension between the human and Genome kind. One that is only kept in check by the programmed housed within the species genes.

Following the rules we have behind character creation and in the spirit of keeping the application board up-to-date, we need to see work at least once every two weeks for pending profiles before we move them to the rejected board.
If you have anything you've been working on, now would be the time to post it. Otherwise, it will be moved to the rejected board until you're ready to start working on it again.
Edit: This profile was added to the "removed" section on June 5th at 11:26 PM PST, approximately 14 days after its last edit. If the owner would like to pick this character back up, they simply need to request it be moved again.
