In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

PLOT PAGE Mikhail Rutherford
Despite his relatively young age, Mikhail has been through enough to be considered a veteran in this "Heartless and darkness" business. Past adventures and experiences have led him to learn quite a bit about the dangers threatening the Realm of Light, and though he isn't quick to trust just anyone with what he deems "sensitive information", he does feel a sense of duty toward helping others (mostly the "newbies") get back on their feet. Whether it be by giving basic world survival tips or lending a hand in a fight, Mikhail's pretty much willing to assist those who know how to ask for help.
That being said, nowadays he tends to keep acquaintances and even protégés at arm's length. The Elonian knows better than to recklessly form emotional attachments in a reality where loss is an everyday occurrence. Perhaps the only exception to this is his closest friend and comrade, Maxwell Tendas, toward whom he shows a certain degree of protectiveness at times; as far as he knows Max is the only fragment of his past still standing. Nonetheless Mikhail does feel empathy toward others, especially those finding themselves in vulnerable and fragile states. He jokingly blames his old mentor, Jadis the White Witch, for these sentiments and that desire to fill that role of "Protector" in many people's lives.
The man's sympathy does have its limits, however. He has little patience for blatant arrogance, cruelty and selfishness and won't hesitate to call them out as he sees them. The former knight also sees pure idealism as a limited code to adhere to, thus condemning what he calls "short-sighted optimism" as well. He's more than willing to allow and even pursue pragmatic solutions to a problem as long as the needs and well-being of the many take priority.
Mikhail's talent for leadership thus comes as no surprise, but he currently opts not to play the part unless absolutely required of him. The stress of losing people under his command, both as a Knight of Audencia and as the Head of the Guardians of the Worlds, finally started to get to him. Still, his self-righteousness and thirst for justice have led him to start facing the darkness in his own way: as a sole fighter, akin to a vigilante of a sort. Word seems to have spread around Twilight Town about this "Crimson Blade" helping common citizens escape the Heartless with their hearts intact. The rumors do amuse him but he usually pays them no mind. If he's able to protect this town and give its people some hope in the process, why would he complain?
Currently looking for: character development, interactions with similar-minded individuals and new protégés, but I'm quite open to suggestions! Let's thread!
I think we were supposed to have a thread sometime!
Though right now I guess the timeline's like, got Mikhail and Shaizen together on a magical adventure, so we should probably be planning on having threads after that. If Shaizen would like to, I guess Mikhail could bring him back to Marmadue (in one piece or they can't play together anymore) or we could go for some other plot, whatever happens in your current thread!
I'll be stalking so I can push my presence on you when the time comes.

Marmadue & Mikhail
Yes, these two need to interact. I'm assuming Shaizen and Mikhail will end up whacking some more Heartless before retrieving the bag and making a run for it. Depending on how edgelordy Mikhail's feeling then, he could either accompany Shaizen on his way back to Marmadue's safe haven of rainbows and sunshine or just escort him back to the "safe" area before going back to smash some heads.
Such healthy coping habits, I know.
Besides that, perhaps Mikhail could assist Marmadue in getting ingredients for his healing concoctions? I'm not sure where he's getting them right now, but it seems as if supplies in general are dwindling. Maybe that could make a fun scavenging hunt of a sort.
And by all means, feel free to grace me with your presence kind sir!
Healing's magic only at the moment, knowledge of bits that are great for things is kind of useless when said bits don't exist in this new weird world! Maybe Marmadue should be given bits to study. For science. He needs it for the best potions. I guess they might be able to have a conversation about future things in-game, if Shaizen wants to hang out some more!
PS. new potions might turn Mikhail's skin blue, if he wants to take them out for a test run

Marmadue & Mikhail
I like this idea! Mikhail would be down for collecting such bits. For science. Plus, I have to say it: a happy Marmadue is an adorable Marmadue. When is he NOT adorable? Damn it.
Although I'm not too sure he'd be keen on cosplaying a Na'vi though, Edgelord here's too cheap to turn down free potions (even if they're test samples). That would be hilarious to play out.
Just an FYI, I'm raiding your plotter once Alice gets accepted.
Marmadue's like a big teddy bear. Fluffy and large enough to cuddle an adult human man. Truly everyone's dream. He'll be sure to use Mikhail as a guinea pig, if he really wants to aid SCIENCE...
