In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

While looking human Abnorms aren’t considered humans. For starters, they have distinctive horns on top of their heads, although they do possess normal human strength, they do have impressive regenerative abilities. Small cuts heal almost instantly but anything bigger than that does take time to heal not to mention the energy that it expends.
No one truly knows where they came from, some think they’re from a different planet, others think they are the next step on evolution, few think they are the answer to the earth’s problem. In any case, Abnorms are worshipped by some, hated by others simply because of their differences but most live normal lives, doing what everyone else does but there is one truth about the species. Never challenge an Abnorms to a game of rock, paper, scissors.

[PTab=⌛ HISTORY]
⚬ Home World: Orion ⚬
⚬ History ⚬
The world went upside down when the book “Abnorms, the next step.” Was published. In summary it basically states that the human race was no longer the dominant species on the planet of Orion. The new species was called Abnorms, born from humans but very different. The first Abnorm had a gift, his gift was to be a human calculator. He became the best physicist in the world at the age of 12, any problem that involved numbers he could solve it. The first Abnorm was able to create theories and publish papers that changed the understanding of the universe. Essentially, a world changer.
Over the next few years more Abnorms were born, all with different abilities. Some could do computer programs so advance that at one point the different electronic systems that helped make different products and services work became vulnerable to hackers but others with the same abilities created security systems to counter the attacks, others could figure out patterns meaning that they made great detectives, others became so sensitive to human emotions that no lie would escape them. One Abnorm was such a genius at strategy that she was able to beat any chess grand master at the age of 10. The human race went into a golden age. At first, abnorms where seen as a gift considering the amount of good they did for society, the logical companions. Unfortunately, it soon became clear what they could do. Humanity advanced on an exponential rate, but so did crime. Now criminals could predict where and when would the law bust into their homes by watching news broadcasts. Hacking attacks became more frequent with highly advanced malware that it only took another abnorm with the same skillset to counter them. In the end it became a double edged sword. Of course, Abnorms were generalized and blamed for the bad things happening out of fear of their abilities. The Centralized World Government (CWD), the unified authority of the world, had to make some changes, that's when the Centralized Correcting Facility (CCD) was born.
The CCD started by creating a mandatory test that every child had to take between the ages of 6 to 8, the age where abnorms started showing their true nature. If the child show they were abnorms they would be sent to specialized academies that replaced the standard schooling system the general population took. The academies functioned on brainwashing abnorm children into loving a system that would make humans and general society a priority to help and protect. The program was so effective it evolved over time to a point where Abnorms lost their sense or self, being mere tools for humans to use to make their own lives better.
A couple were able to escape the different procedures used at the academy and thought their kind was being used as little more than cattle which made them turn into a splinter group with the sole goal of dissolving the CCD and destroying the academies. This group was called "Project Change" and was quickly considered a terrorist organization by the Central World Government due to the fear Abnorms had when let free, thinking that could be used to their advantage they became violent, mainly towards CCD officials, but it backfired and the CWD had to step in. Starting a war.
Asuka was born to normal human parents, her parents were rare since they didn’t agree with how the CCD treated Abnorms but didn't like the violent approach "Project Change" took to correct a problem since it proved to the general population that their fear of Abnorms was well placed. A few years later they became suspicious of Asuka once she started arranging her books by genre and alphabetical order order at the age of 7. How she retained information like no child her age. How she was able to perceive the world in a very different way. Which led them to move to the country side and avoid her child to be turned into little more than a tool. It worked.
Asuka was home schooled from day one and it became clear that she had a proficiency to retain information. Whether books or movies she could only have to see it once to quote it completely. Basically a photographic memory.
Unfortunately the war escalated, not only was the CCD taking children to the academy but to counter them "Project Change" started taking Abnorm children of their own with the excuse of "Saving them from a live of slavery.". With two groups battling for domination Asuka's dad decided to train Asuka to defend herself should the time come. They taught her the difference between good and bad, teaching her that everyone was different and trying to control them by force was simply stupid and would cause fighting or resentment for a long time.
Thanks to her dad's military service and her ability to retain information she was able to become quite the force to be reckoned with. Some time in her training, by accident, Asuka developed, out of nowhere, four extremities that she called vectors, out of her love for mathematical coordinates. The vectors took a bit to get used to since they worked as new limbs but once she got the hang of them Asuka was able to figure out how powerful they were. (Details in abilities).
Sadly, one of the neighbors saw her and called the CCD. On top of that, "Project Change" got wind of her too and both clashed in Asuka's home town trying to get to her. Her parents immediately got into action, packing the essentials and escaped, the CCD caught up thanks to their superior mobility and they got separated. Asuka never knew what happened to her parents but knew that she wouldn't be able to live a normal life if she got found again so decided to go under the radar. For years now she has worked different kinds of jobs, retail, HR, nothing really that would get her caught in the spotlight but just enough to live a standard life.
Years passed and Asuka was able to live a normal life. "Project Change" lost the war and were hunted down, the CCD cracked down even harder, now forcing Abnorms into "Districts" away from the general population to be kept monitored. Anyone who resisted would be put down, anyone whose abilities could be put to use were made to work. Some Abnorms were even used to track down and capture other Abnorms. That's how Asuka was found, an Abnorm proficient in pattern recognition recognized her voice from one of the videos when her home was raided to the voice of a young girl working at a call center. This is the first time she had to kill someone, out of self defense.
While escaping she accidentally ran into a door that didn't look to have a destination. Who knew where she would end up.

[PTab=🧬 APPEARANCE]
Standing at average height Asuka isn’t the tallest in her age group, but don’t let that fool you. Thanks to her outdoor life she has built quite the muscle mass. It isn’t overboard since she didn’t spend every waking moment but it is noticeable if someone takes a closer look. She usually wears armor that unfolds from a metal structure that goes along her spine, it isn’t the best since it is pretty thin but it does provide ample protection in case it’s needed. She has long straight red hair and her eyes are crimson.

[PTab=✨ ABILITIES]
ABILITIES: Master of Hand-to-Hand Combat: Pretty self-explanatory, thanks to her time in the rebellion Asuka was able to master multiple fighting styles and can think on her feet. Although her size is small, she is able to use her opponents strength against them, hitting points in the body where it would usually cause quite a bit of damage.
Heightened Senses: Asuka’s senses are heightened, making her hear see, taste and touch things that a normal human wouldn’t be able to. Thanks to her abnorm ability she can see attacks coming and know how to dodge them or block them if necessary.
Regeneration: Regeneration is the process of renewal, restoration and growth that makes genomes, cells, organisms and ecosystems resilient to natural fluctuations or events that cause disturbance or damage. Asuka's regenerative ability makes it so she never has to visit a hospital, small cuts and scrapes heal almost instantly. Deep cuts heal in minutes but do take energy out of her, puncture wounds or anything worse would take hours but Asuka would have to sleep to concentrate on healing herself. She doesn't know if a limb grows and doesn't want to try it.
Vectors: Being an Abnorm has its perks. Aside from her high regenerative ability and her mastery in combat skills Asuka has a special gland that hardens her blood cells and produces a set of four elongated arms that act as extensions. She can use these extensions as weapons, basically hitting her opponent to unconsciousness. These extensions can block physical attack, that is unless that attack has any sort of magic involved. Her vectors don’t recognize magic as a threat since it isn’t technically physical so those attacks move straight through with no resistance whatsoever. Finally, the vectors move at high speeds to protect Asuka on their own but that does draw more energy from Asuka making the “auto-defend” function more of a drawback in a long fight. Besides, she can’t turn it off making the constant energy use a drag.
DRAWBACKS:
Asuka tends to take the peaceful side, always trying to find the way to end any situation peacefully. Although it works wonders it has been known to leave her in a vulnerable state for a surprise attack.
Although her vectors can block physical attacks, magic is out of the question, the magic projectile, or attack, slips right through them. Since her vectors don’t technically count as physical material magic just slips through them.
Her vectors aren’t indestructible either, even though Asuka can regenerate them at fast rate it does take from her stamina not only making her a slower target but making her vectors move slower.
Her heightened senses are useful but it doesn’t make her invincible. They are useless if Asuka doesn’t have the reaction time to counter the attack. Add to the fact the constant energy consumption from her vectors, she may block someone’s attack a couple of times but that doesn’t mean she can keep that up forever.
Asuka can be considered a suicidal person, she tends to jump in into situations that involve her loved ones without much consideration for her own safety. She has been known to take attacks for people she cares about leaving her useless.
Her vectors don’t go along with magic so she can’t use it. If she was to use it the magic would backfire on her making her take damage and leaving her in pain for a few seconds. The only way for her to use magic is some kind of catalyst powerful enough to be able to produce magic.
Her regenerative abilities are great, healing any non-lethal wound with no problem. But it does come at a cost, her regeneration takes a lot of energy. The worse the wound, the more energy it consumes making it impossible to fight if seriously wounded since her regeneration is working overtime. Add to the fact that healing magic doesn’t work with her, her regeneration is part of the gland which makes her body reject the magic. That includes healing magic, if a caster tried to heal her the spell would backfire on the caster causing harm to him/her.

[PTab=🔮 PERSONALITY]
Asuka can be categorized as neutral in all aspects, she does what she wants whether someone finds it wrong or right. Her upbringing has taught her one thing, never keep your mouth shut, never lie but most important never give up. She can come out as harsh since she doesn’t have a filter but by no means she comes is outright rude. Her first rule of thumb is respect, whether someone likes what she says or not is up to them.
Asuka usually tends to laugh and joke a lot, making it seem as though she’s an idiot. In reality she just wants attention, or rather… for people to notice her hence why the pranks and remarks about simple things. Having said that the one quality she lacks is control, to her everything is black or white. You are either in position A or position B, reason why she avoids organized group of people and rather stays with a group she cares about, not beliefs in. That’s why she always has a smile on her face, rather be friendly to everyone and avoid any kind of trouble but when the situation calls for it… she gets the job done.
She doesn’t necessarily have a belief system towards one particular entity or kingdom but she does have one thing going for her. Loyalty. May God have mercy to those who mess with the people she cares about; her actions are determined by three factors. Circumstance, emotion and loyalty, not necessarily in that order. That means that she isn’t governed by anyone, her independence is one of the things that some people find attracting. It doesn’t mean she won’t respect others cultures or beliefs; it just means she’ll simply say no if asked to join because you don’t join a friendship. You make it.
