Name: Reno
Age: Old enough to drink, that’s all that matters to you and him
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Neutral
Powers: Reno’s immune to lightning and status effects.
Electro-Mag Rod: Reno's weapon releases a surge of electricity that flutters towards the opponent, shocking them on contact.
Pyramid: Reno can create a pyramid that is yellow in colour around an enemy, this immobilizes them briefly, their only escaping being that they must attack the pyramid once.
Weapons: While being fairly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, Reno carries about an electro-mag rod. It's a long, retractable, silver nightstick that has a taser attacked to one end. He always keeps it on him and is attached to a black, leather strap that he always wears on his right wrist.

Appearance: Reno is a medium-sized individual that has a tone of paleness in his skin. This is probably noticeable because of the full set of red hair he has, having it spike up in several directions near the front (two clumps fall down to the sides of his face), and leads off to a spiky edge at the back. Pushed up against his forehead is a set of black goggles, though it seems they're there for more of decorative reasons. Along with the neutral colour of the goggles, Reno's dim blue eyes and silver earring he wears on his left ear take away from the mass amounts of red on his face. However, one of the more noticeable things that Reno bares are his two red markings, one on each side of his face, that start at his cheekbone and run up his face to just above his eye line.
Thanks to his 'duties' of being a Turk, Reno wears the usual uniform consisting of a navy blue coat/pants, white dress shirt, brown shoes, and although the Turks usually sport a black tie, Reno has taken it out of his uniform and the other members seem to not have a problem with it. He wears his jacket open, dress shirt untucked on the right side, the white shirt's collar rising above the black jacket and has the top two buttons undone. He usually places a hand inside one of his pants pockets and giving a somewhat slouch of stance.
Personality: Reno is one whom is lazy at times, though he truly does take pride in his work among the Turks. When on the job, Reno is a hard worker, persistent on following out Shin-Ra's goals. Off the clock though... Reno couldn't give a care in the world on whether Shin-Ra succeeds or not. Having to be working around constant workaholics, he seems to try and lighten the mood by following free from the pack, bringing a little of himself into the mixture, making sure things stay interesting to him.
To be one who's easily frustrated isn't all that great of a thing. He'll occasionally become annoyed with those who are working with him (more-so Elena than others), though he normally will try and balance that feeling with trying to lighten the mood with comments poking at his fellow crew. Since they work in the ways of the black hand they realize that a life is a life, it's nothing more once you take it away. Reno knows this well, partly the reason he's so quick to fight and not caring what their assignment's about. Although-- he does know his limitations as to what he can and will do, like he said, "A pro isn't someone who sacrifices himself for his job. That's just a fool"
Much like other characters of his age and personality level, this Turk can be cynical towards those of whom he meets. Laughing in the face of danger is something he will do on occasions, when he knows he's outmatched though... he knows to head for the hills. Also, Reno is a cocky individual that sometimes lets his attitude overcome his actions, finding himself in a pickle.
Original World: Gaia
Current Residing World: Radiant Garden
History/Background: Reno was always a tough cookie, never really could get along with one person without picking out a flaw or something of the sorts that just didn’t seem right to him. Sadly, this got him into trouble more-so than it ever had getting him out of it. This pessimistic attitude lead him to believe that he wasn’t where he was meant to be, all the people that he came into contact with in his life slowing him down from his true goal. His only answer, the place he could turn to was the Turks.
Assignment of partners was that of a somewhat random process. Seemed much too hard to believe when Reno ended up being partnered with a rather large, quiet individual; Rude, he called himself. Opposites attracted he supposed, also figuring that he wasn’t going to be spending most of his time with the guy, they’d just work, understand each other. In a sense, he was right, in many others, he was wrong. Sure, they understood each other, though they seemed to end up thinking the world of the other, a strong bond binding them together. The other would easily give their life to save their partner, no questions needed.
Some time after Reno had joined, an incident broke out. AVALANCHE leader Elfe and the leader of the Turks (Veld) had decided to try and disband, taking their own ways out, moving below the radar. They couldn’t figure where they had went exactly, or even the full reason as to why, all they could know from looking around was that the Turks had just been robbed of a few employees, Rude, Tseng and himself making up all that was left of the Turks. They were the future.
If you heard it from Reno, you’d say that all he did after this was babysit a little girl named Cissni, making sure she played nice with new First Class SOLDIER, Zack Fair. Sad to say, there was no other way to word it, he and Rude made sure she did her job of keeping tabs on Zack. Other than that, not much other than investigations of Genesis and Angeal, under Tseng’s orders, of course.
Time progressed, situations came to rise. The village of Nibelheim burning to but a large pile of ash was just the tip of the iceberg. The world seemed to plunge into a deep darkness, something that the likes of the population Midgar, even Gaia, had never seen before. It seemed to swarm, taking the world with it, along with the inhabitants.
Waking up some time after, Reno was surrounded by large canyons, quite different than he had seen through his travels. Right about now, only two things were running through his mind; where his partner was, and why his head hurt so damn much. The second question was easier to answer than the latter. Given his lack of PHS, a vital piece of equipment that Turks needed to have on them at all times for communication’s sake (a reason that the redhead didn’t exactly see eye-to-eye with), he was cut off from the group, making him have to go solo and try and regroup.
After near eight years of searching, he’d just given up on finding them all in all. He wasn’t even sure if they had survived whatever had happened. All he knew for sure was that he was on another world, one that the people had called
Radiant Garden. Sure seemed to fit the name... best stay where it was safe, at least that way he could get to know the area better.
Wherever Tseng and Rude were, they’d show up, they just had to.
Role Playing Sample: Walking out of the bar rather tipsy was that of a sharp dressed man, more so than the other people that were lounging around the bar. Well, let's just say he wasn't leaving out of his own free will, no, he was rather being thrown out in a subtle way.
"Hey, hands off!" he shouted angrily back at two of the goons that were nudging him out.
He made a small sneer on his face, gesturing rudely back at the people in the bar. All he wanted was a simple drink, but the tender insisted that he pay for each drink before he received another. Too bad Reno didn't swing that way, he prefer everything in one large paycheck. It wasn't like he couldn't afford it, since the Turks always had good amounts of money, and it didn't seem they cared much about a drinking age, since he looked older than he really was.
The men pushed him out the door, causing him to fall down onto the dirty streets. With a grunt he landed on the ground in front of the main entrance to the bar. The goons had a rather good chuckle before returning in to finish their drinks and whatever they could buy.
Slowly making his way up, he brushed off his jacket,
"You and your damn Gil..." he didn’t care if they heard him, not like they’d waste their time pummeling him again.
