In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

((No, no, fine. And Elaeus, your post was much better. ))
She so thought he'd fall for the human gig. After all, to her it was not begging for mercy, for if it was, Relena would have rather been dead. Merely it was like giving someone a fruit basket after they had broken into your house. It was just there to confuse them. Seeing as how Relena never was one to try and bargain with the person who was out to kill her, she thought it would work. But of course she forgot this was Elaeus she was dealing with and her offer was shot down like a balloon with a dart thrown through it.
He just wanted his hot cocoa...what a freak. Though somewhere in those dark pools he called eyes she could see something stirring. It looked like he was pleased with whatever he was imagining. How sickening, she was threatened to die, almost did die and the man that wanted to kill her got to have his hot chocolate and the pleasure of seeing her disgusted by him. Life was not fair to number twelve sometimes.
And so Elaeus went off, rambling about some nonsense she didn't care to hear about. He must have realized that no one cared about what he was saying because he suddenly changed the subject about wanting more hot chocolate. So with no one stopping him he started to walk to the kitchen...and had to tug on Arumial's sleeve while walking by. This only made Relena tense up more and pull her upper lip back to make a face that looked repulsed at something. And life just decided to throw one more brick at her; Elaeus walking by and flicked her hair.
Her hair. Her sacred hair.
She wanted to scream. No, scream would be an understatement. She wanted to put her lutetium sphere right through his skull and watch his body slowly melt away and see his heart vanish back to Kingdom Hearts. Then she would be able to chuck all the mugs he ever had around the room and play pinball with them whenever she wanted. But Ienzo came in the room and pulled her away from her dream and glorious thoughts.
Wait...Ienzo? When did he get back? This was definitely news to her and she blinked twice to make sure it wasn't one of Elaeus' tricks. But if it wasn't the real Ienzo than there probably would be a T-shirt on him that didn't have a hole it in, and his hair would actually be combed. So it was safe to say that this was the real Ienzo and not a trick of Elaeus'. Anyways, she noticed that he looked slightly different, changed, perhaps.
Her eyes slid to Elaeus, she knew those two were good friends, could Elaeus possibly have been the reason for his return? In fact, Ienzo looked rather sleepy and she had to snicker at this. Finally number six returned and she expected him to look more powerful or wiser, not...sleepier. Though she wondered what would happen next, with a good friend of Elaeus' being here. And she wouldn't exactly call Arumial a friend...
Arumial restrained himself from rolling his eyes at the entire ordeal. This was what the Dark XII had been degraded to- one was craving hot beverages, another was a hair-obsessed blonde with an emotional involvement with anything remotely related to steel and the new entry was a sleepy shadow-creeper whose dislike of association with others bordered on sociopathic. And himself? He was a shadow-jumping Heartless who actually didn't want to kill everybody.
All in all- a group of obsessive degenerates with too many inexplicable flaws to name. Give them some of the most powerful abilities in the worlds to add to the fire- what kind of sick creator thought of that?
But hey, let's be friendly- 'Hey, Ienzo! How's tricks?'
How's tricks? Maybe it really was too early in the morning...
((Umkay, it's been like 5 days, mind if I carry on?))
Ienzo waved to all as he stepped into the room. He looked around and reached into the nearest shadow, pulling out a brown jacket, which he slipped on. His gray eyes slid around the room, as bare as it was, and he smiled.
"Arumial... It's been too long. And Relena, you still got hair problems?" He waved to them both as he grabbed a mug from the deepest corner of the kitchen. Even if he couldn't remember much before his Rebirth, he knew that it would be here. He went to the sink and poured some water.
""Elaeus, if you need a new cup, I can get you one. Wanna take a Nobodies just to screw with them?" Of course it was a joke, but hey, what else would help out? Dry humor, even if it was talentless, was a good way to distract anger. Stupidity was a natural distraction.
Meanwhile Ienzo felt exposed out of the shadows. Everybody could see him, and he hated big entrances. But what could he do? Walk to the sink and not even say hi? If he was to follow orders, he didn't want to get on anybody's bad side as soon as he got here.
He shivered as he thought of that. Orders. Just like Xehanort. But he had to do this if he was to get his goals accomplished. It was stupid to brood over it. Unwise.
Ienzo smiled at them all and sat down at the table. He himself had no idea how to cook and knew that eating wouldn't help him in any way, but for some odd reason, he craves eggs. He relaxed in the chair and waited for some kind of response.

Elaeus looked towards Ienzo at his little joke. His lids were slightly ajar and a yawn stretched from his mouth, while successfully filling a kettle with water and putting it on a warm eye on the oven.
"Hardy har har Ienzo. Hardy har har," a small smile cracked on his face before stretching in another yawn as his body stretched like a feline. "So Relena was bored to play with mugs. Ienzo wanders amongst his shadows. What about you Arumial? I haven't seen much of you, since we were in that room with the previous Relena."
A hand scratched through messy bronze hair, while the other idly rested on the steaming kettle. His sleepiness made him a bit careless about the warmth that tickled his hand and up his arm. The whistle was slowly buzzing in and out of his ear. Taking it off of the eye he poured the hot water in the air. Naturally the water feel, but diamonds started to form around with a hard exterior of solid rock. It smoothed out nicely into a fine mug. Walking over he grabbed a hot chocolate mix package. With a low hum, he wiggle it to collect the essence on one side to make the pouring neat and less messy.
An quake shook through the mug, and Elaeus took a sip.
(sorry for the shortness; I've been using my muse/rp skills a lot today, and I'm drained.

...Previous...Relena...
They talked about the one before her like she was a dog or something. She now understood the whole concept of having members be reborn but there was no chance in hell that she was going down like the others before her...however many there where. But she swore as soon as she learned the truth about being a new Relena that she would not go down the same path as those before her. This Relena was staying with the Dark XII for as long as she could. Besides, she knew she was stronger than some of the members here.
She tossed her honey-coloured hair towards Ienzo and spoke coolly, "I can't even begin to believe that you're surprised." Her eyes scanned the other member's faces one-by-one until they rested on Elaeus. Now that he had his hot cocoa his face seemed more relaxed and she didn't get a vibe that he was about to kill her anymore. Her spheres though rustled inside the bag like they had a mind of their own. Sometimes Relena thought that they did however, like now for instance. She was getting this weird feeling from them, like they wanted to fight or something.
Though this feeling was quickly dismissed as everybody around her tried to calm down one another by cracking small--and terrible--jokes. Ienzo made one to Elaeus as he took a seat at the table with a mug that Relena hadn't shattered (This was rather surprising to her considering the pile under the sink that she hoped no one would find). And of course Elaeus made one to Arumial. She had to glower off into the distance--you could never understand the ways of a guy.
For her it was odd to see Ienzo out of the shadows. Odd enough for her to suddenly care about remembering where he came from. Meaning that when Arumial ran her over in the halls she didn't remember ever seeing Ienzo there. Something’s she was jealous of the powers other members have. But the funny thing was she wasn't so sure of her power anyways. For this she was thinking about how she never actually used her power in front of any of the other members. Again this was coming up and it was bothering her. Why did the other members use their powers so frequently yet Relena felt so secretive with hers?
She let out a sigh and quickly moved to be standing further away from both Arumial and the other two. Right now she couldn't hide the fact that there was a distinct clinking coming from the pouch where her spheres were kept. Something was wrong and a part of her knew it. That was the only answer she could come up with off the top of her head and it seemed to be the most logical. It was only best to be standing over where she was for two reasons. Because she was out of reach of the other members and because she wanted to hide the fact that she, Relena the Steel Blitzer, was in fact, nervous.

Arumial shrugged. 'I've been travelling. No success, so I thought I'd go down a bit further.'
He had been planning this for some time now. He wasn't making much success with just fooling around here and there. There were too many false leads and self-righteous fools. He didn't have time- he had to get the plan in motion before Ansem thought of giving them a job.
'I'm going to be off for a while. There's got to be something which can end this quickly, and Ansem's not pulling his genius together quickly enough. I'm going to find it, so we can actually get our work finished and stop lounging around arguing about mugs and hair.'
He looked at Relena meaningfully, but then smiled at them all. 'You guys be well, okay? I'll be back soon.'
With that Arumial left the kitchen, and soon later, the World That Never Was.
Ienzo frowned as Arumial left. Now it was just the three of them. And Ienzo knew that the Dark XII seemed to have fallen into disrepair. He was following a path that could kill him with one misplaced footstep. Was this wise of him?
Still, he had to stand beside his friend, even if he was a slight sociopath. He owed them his allegiance merely due to the fact that the "before him" died, and he had to prove himself better. It made him think of himself as a separate person, because he couldn't remember it at all. But he was destined to live. He wouldn't fall...

Elaeus rolled his eyes at Arumial; he had always hated assumptions. It was an itching urk that made his hand twitched, but he can't expect Arumial to know him on the personal level. He wasn't around in his other life, so he only have this one to assume and judge. The Earth Titan rather not go through the mental argument over the heartless, who have been merely traveling, while he, the Earth Titan, was actually progressing. His nose wrinkled. This man had assumed that he lounged about doing nothing, but argue with Relena. In truth, this was the first time actually interacting with this one.
"I have a feeling that this won't end well." His eyes remained on the spot Arumial was, as a reference. "There's never anything quick."
His eyes scanned towards Relena, "...You know I can here them....steel aren't they? What's plaguing your mind? There's no reason to hide it. You might as well find a way to ease it." Swallowing the rest of the hot chocolate, Elaeus was fully awake and prepared to get this day started. He had hearts to collect, well the light in the heart to collect.
"I wonder where that little hungry neoshadow is....he might have gotten to her already," the Heartless muttered to himself. "That reminds me. There's another Heartless about with a pyrokinetic trademark. I have a feeling Ale had returned again."

Relena watched Arumial leave with a look of anger, he just left her here alone with just Ienzo and Elaeus, what a jerk. Her eyes slid over to Ienzo as the sound of Arumial's footsteps faded off. Having just gotten out of bed it seemed Ienzo had quickly regained his composure. Lastly they moved over to Elaeus, she was still rather worried that he was going to try and kill her again, now more than ever because Arumial was gone. Right before number eleven left Elaeus had made a comment about it not ending well. Why then would he talk that way and then say what he was saying next?
"...You know I can hear them....steel aren't they? What's plaguing your mind? There's no reason to hide it. You might as well find a way to ease it."
Therapist Elaeus, it had a nice ring to it. However he wasn't the castle's therapist and therefore she did not give him a straight answer. Instead she pulled open the drawstring holding her spheres in the pouch she carried around and watched as the steel balls pulled themselves out of the pouch and smoothly slid down onto the floor. Relena was not technically controlling the whereabouts of wherever these spheres went, just softly setting them on the floor. So she was shocked when they rolled off in different directions on their own accord and found comfortable resting spots in nooks and crannies of the room.
"Steel yes, but do not underestimate the power they hold within them." She was very certain of the fact that Elaeus could not possibly hear or sense her lutetium sphere, she could not feel it moving inside the case it was held within, she could only feel the power--her power--that surged through it and waited for her signal like an obedient dog. "Reasons for me to hide my thoughts are numerous, you just saw my way of easing it." Her hand swooped down and pulled out the last remaining sphere from her pouch and inspected it momentarily before dropping it onto the floor where it merely hit the floor and did not bounce.
Instead the sphere paused when it should have rolled off in a random direction, turned in place, and finally headed off...right toward Elaeus. Relena tensed up in case the sphere decided to do something regretful and watched as the round steel weapon rolled eerily toward the Earth Titan. Like a horror movie she watched the seconds tick by and was relieved at last when it came to a full stop at one of his shoes. Just as puzzled as most people probably were, she watched on as the sphere began to gently roll into the shoe, bounce back, and repeat the process. The only message she could gather from the sphere was that it wanted to be picked up by Elaeus.

Ienzo watched with a strange expression as the small spheres rolled around, seemingly on their own accord. He was interested in them for they were just like the shadows. The shadows did as they pleased, but they had a large obedience to those who cared for them. He himself thought of the shadows as a single being, seeing all things, for they seemed to know all at once. It was like the metaphorical "grapevine" lived inside of them.
He put his hand into the shadow behind his mug and watched as it pulled itself away from the table and wrapped itself around his finger. Indeed, they wee gentle creatures... Sometimes.
He watched the two Heartless, still playing with the shadow, and yawned, pulling out a comb. It was about time to get ready for the day. It seemed that Relena had problems, and Elaeus was interested in them... The normal stuff for Heartless. But some had a harder time dealing with the sacrifices that a body had to make as it transformed.
He himself had almost no problem with S. He would share a Heart here or there, but that was no problem. And Heartless didn't get hungry. Feeding wasn't necessary, it just made them more powerful.
Ienzo let events unfurl before him, still watching the steel orbs.

((Okay, moving this thread along, alright with you?))
Sure, the sphere and Elaeus were it's only problem, but then there was Ienzo. Even though he was deathly silent, Relena was sure he had something, anything to say. So she casually strolled over to where she could see him playing with a shadow from his coffee mug. Like an expert he was letting the shadow twist around his finger and soon enough he released it to pull out a comb. Seriously, what was with guys and combs? She yawned boredly as she neared the space between them. It wasn't too hard to notice him watching her and Elaeus as he tucked away his comb. Watching just as silently as before.
"Your shadows...they seem to have characters...like they have a mind of their own. Am I right?"
One couldn't deny the odd performance given earlier by Ienzo with the coffee mug shadow. Ienzo had given that look like he wasn't doing anything at all. Hell, even Relena couldn't stick her hand into the shadows and pull out some little critter-like thing. Of course, she was sure that he couldn't hold up a spoon and make it jump out of the palm of his hand. (Then again she wasn't exactly sure what would happen if she tried to make a spoon move, she'd have to try it on Myde next time she saw him). They all had their special abilities that made them unique, but with Ienzo and shadows, they just seemed to have a special bond.
It was only common sense to think that his shadows were like her spheres, each had personality and character. Ienzo seemed more comfortable in the shadows, the same way a normal person would feel if they were beside a best friend or a pet. If indeed they did have personality, then did that mean that the rock and such that Elaeus controlled also had a mind of its own? Just how possible was it that her hypothesis was correct? So many questions left unanswered...wouldn't it be well-worth it if Ienzo knew even the tiniest fraction of them? Relena would soon enough find out if he did.
