Picture(optional):Appearance: Cissnei is a medium-sized woman with wavy auburn hair and fair skin. She typically wears a black pants-suit with a white shirt and black tie. On days off she favors less restrictive clothing, though this implies no dislike of her uniform. Black, fingerless gloves serve to protect her hands from her weapon of choice.
Her expression changes noticeably with mood. When on business or a mission, she is completely deadpan. Her smile when with someone whose company she enjoys is typically slightly flirtatious and always has a hint of caring. When angered, her glare is top-quality.
Personality: Cissnei knows that business is first, as do all the Turks. She will never disobey an order, and rarely lets personal feelings effect her duty. She does not, however, allow her job to consume her life as her boss does. On days off and when given temporary leave, she is often found on the beach or other relaxing social scene, near a target.
Unlike some of her comrades, Cissnei does have compassion. Business is first, but looking out for those who need it is second. It almost never is a conflict of interest- those who need, pay- but she does tend to go easy on those whose options are limited, and will attack oppressors and other "evil" targets mercilessly.
Original World: Gaia
Current Residing World: Traverse Town
History/Background: Cissnei grew up on the plate of Midgar. Her parents owned the Neyan Research Company, but were killed when she was barely a year old by terrorists who had taken advantage of the company's reduced budget, thanks to Shin-Ra, to get through the security and steal weapons. She was sent to an orphanage for the children of the wealthy.
As she was growing up, she learned to be tough. No one is as cruel as a child who believes himself to be entitled, and those were who she was surrounded with. At the age of four, a legal battle left her with no money- just the orphanage and a photo to remind her of her past- and the cruelty of her peers increased twofold. She became adept at self-defense, and found a knack for beating off adversaries with improvised weapons. She was an amazing shot with most thrown toys. Despite this, and perhaps even because of it, she was still mocked endlessly and shunned by all the others.
She was twelve on the day that her class, for her orphanage was also a school, was walking through the city. Her tormenting began as usual. Unheeded by her teacher, her classmates started chasing her around the street. Attempting to find anything to beat them off, she grabbed a plate from a nearby diner and threw it at the head of the nearest pursuer. From there, her memories are a blur. She recalls sirens, ambulances, her future commander making sure he was the one to take care of her, and the stunning knowledge that she felt no regret in taking a life.
Cissnei trained until she was fourteen as a member of the Turks, taking her new name from her old as was custom. Her weapon, made from a metal known for its durability, she dubbed 'Rekka', as she has every like weapon since. For the next two years, she continued under the watchful eyes of her team. Business was business. She did her job and never let them down.
Then there was Zack. He was a SOLDIER, but he had retained a semblance of humanity. She watched him carefully, as did Reno and Rude, as he became a First-Class. She became, to her shock, infatuated with him. No matter her attempts to repress it, her infatuation was seemingly apparent, as Reno and Rude began watching her as well as Zack.
Nibelheim. Where Zack was seen last. When reports of it burning reached her, so too did the Heartless. She fought them, and she won- what she could not beat was the destruction of the world. It collapsed into darkness, as did she. Her last vision before the darkness took her sight was a flash of black hair and red eyes. For some reason, she thought of Tseng.
Cissnei awoke as a humanoid cat. This scared her nearly out of her wits for about two minutes before she took stock of her situation. Her PHS' long-range capability was broken beyond repair, she was in a forest of some kind, and everyone else here was also some kind of animal. She had gone insane. Fantastic.
After determining that her sanity was not, in fact, impaired, Cissnei put her training to use. She described the Turks, Zack, and Genesis to the locals and set up some contacts. She quickly analyzed from the residents that this world did not have anyone else in her particular situation, though such things had been heard to have happened before. Taking their stories of aliens seriously, she took an old mirror and began signaling an SOS into the sky. She was gone in less than a week.
She was dropped off in Disney Castle, where she learned of the Heartless and the nature of the worlds. Working for the King, she earned enough Munny doing odd-jobs to afford a slightly beat-up Gummi ship and a repair of her PHS. Her contacts were wiped out, and she could not reach any of the numbers she remembered. She theorized that, should any of the Turks still live, their PHS systems were either in disrepair, lost, or rejecting her repaired signal as unknown. Once more, she set up contacts and descriptions, and she departed.
The next five years were spent doing mostly the same thing. She would go to a world, spend several months in a temporary headquarters setting up contacts and searching unsettled areas, and depart for another. After this, though, she had decided that enough searching had been done. Of her home, the only survivors seemed to be SOLDIER First-Class Sephiroth, who had, it seemed, become malevolent, a woman named Tifa, Yuffie (a Wutai), the Shin-Ra pilot Cid, and the Boss' pet project Aerith.
Setting up a headquarters in Metro City, Cissnei began work as a mercenary, often for the local police force when their best inspector needed backup that the primary force couldn't handle. At times, if the pay was right, she would travel off-world. It was directly after one of these missions that she found her team in Traverse Town. The only word spoken in greeting when she found them was from Tseng, though the look on Reno's face was priceless. "Report."
