In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Hunting was a job for the lionesses, so that was left to them.... Simba wasn't out for hunting, not at all. He was the king of the Pride Lands after all. As a king of the Pride Lands, he was more out patrolling the savannahs, looking for anything out of the ordinary, or anyone causing trouble around his homeland. However, eversince the 'Outlanders' had joined in with his pride, most things have fallen calm.
Only 'most' because there were still threats out there among the lands. Beings called Heartless. They had invaded Simba's home, and threatened the lives of him, his daughter, Nala, his pride, and the rest of the residents that also lived on this land.
If Simba was like how he was back when he was younger and living with Timon and Pumbaa, he would have most likely gone with the 'Hakuna Matata' perspective of living life. Living his life worry free and leaving problems for someone else to take care of. He couldn't do that now... not as the king and definitely not as a caring father over Kiara.
There was something that bothered him, though...
Mufasa, his father. He was a great king and father in Simba's eyes, and it was still a little saddening to remember the day that he had died because of his uncle, Scar. There was just so many things that Simba wished that he could ask his father. Stuff that pertained to being king and even to being a good parent.
It's been said before, though, he would never be like Mufasa. It's not that the lion had any intention of being exactly like his father, that would just be downright impossible.
Padding forwards across the grasslands, Simba gave thought to his current condtion and recent events.
Thoughts of what was going on and what next to do in the Pride Lands took up most of Simba's thought process and made it so that he didn't acknowledge what was going on around him besides what was in his line of vision. It had certainly been a long day already... with Kovu and Kiara now seeming to be the new King and Queen of the Pride Lands when Simba was to step down eventually.
Shaking his reddish mane, the King arched forward and stretched his front paws out, trying to keep himself more awake. He was almost done with the patrol around the Pride Lands... soon he'd be headed back to Pride Rock. He was sure that the lionesses were also almost finished with their hunting... they usually were about the time he got back to the pride.
He let out a sigh as he stood back up straight. A small sound of rustling was heard behind him, and Simba flicked an ear back before actually turning his head to have a look for himself. Must have been a light breeze that rustled the grass or something... for the lion King saw nothing there in the spot where he had heard the noise.
Shrugging, Simba gave a slight, yet quick raise of the brows, closed his eyes for a brief second and turned back to going back the way he was headed. There wasn't much for him to be afraid of out here, and the hyenas were pretty good about staying in the Elephant Graveyard unless it was time for them to be feeding... and even then, they were monitored by some of the lionesses that roamed about, taking up the slack of patrolling about the land.
Again with that rustle.
"Who's over there?" Simba asked rather defensively, looking back over his shoulder with a glare. If something or someone was out here watching him, then that something or someone had better watch out... messing with the King of Pride Lands wasn't going to be tolerated by intruders... especially if said intruder happened to be either a hyena looking for trouble or a Heartless.
Pirates, ninjas... very moot things when concerning the widerness of the savannas of the Pride Lands. Neither existed out there... there was also no animal to even compare pirates or ninjas to... well, maybe if you were talking about how stealthily a lioness could run to catch her prey, then sure, being compared to a ninja would be the way to go. Perhaps the way that Hyenas liked to take what wasn't theirs could be closely related to how a pirate acted... but again... the comparisons were moot.
The King's brow went up in slight suprise as soon as he saw what was there. A small, young cape fox cub. The fact that something like it was following him was amusing, what made it all the more funny was the fact that it had put on a threat display and even started barking at him! Although... the barks were more of high-pitched yips. Simba was doing his level best to keep him 'kingly' air about him and not burst out in laughter at the little creatue that stood before him.
Giving a slight cough to keep him from wavering, Simba sat down on his haunches and looked at the fox with a slightly amused look upon his face. He watched as the young fox gave up on the yipping, sat down, and then started licking the back of his paw... a real bold gesture, all right... The King gave a slight roll of the eyes, held back an amused scoff, got back up and circled the young, tawny colored fox.
"Alright kid, what are you doing out here and why were you following me?" asked Simba, continuing to circle the cub. He was hoping that he would look a little more intimidating than he just was... but given the size difference, it shouldn't have been that hard. The only thing that would have made Simba look unintimidatng was the fact that he couldn't hide that amused look that had etched it's way across his face.
The amused look lingered upon the King's face as the young cap fox cub turned and looked up at him. However, it seemed that the aimed for goal of intimidating the young cub seemed to waver. Didn't matter, though... Simba was just dealing with a kid. Not like he was a hyena or Heartless or anything of the sort. Unless he was working for them, in which case, Simba highly doubted.
"Saw our world and decided to drop by, huh..." Simba said, sitting back down while keeping eye contact with the kid. He wasn't sure what a ship was, but he decided that he would just go along with it and not question it. After all, there was always the case with Sora as he came and went from visiting the Pride Lands... though, admittedly, Simba was quite amused to see him, Donald and Goofy in African animal forms than when he first met them.
Even though the kid had answered his first question, he still hadn't told Simba why it was that he was following him. So, laying down and bringing one of his paws up, the King propped his head on it and kept his amber gaze on the fox. Drumming the ground with toes of his other paw, Simba asked his question again, "so why was it that were you following me?"
