In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Ienzo's silver eyes stared over the eternal rooftops of The World That Never Was. How long had he been here? A couple months? He could never really tell. After all, he had lost track of time. He actually read his age in how many Hearts he had eaten. Even now, he could only generalize what that count was.
He brushed his black hair out of his face and sighed. This life was almost pointless. What was his objective? What was his reason to exist? He really didn't know why he was here. He knew that there had to be some reason. It wasn't like he was a Nobody.
He picked himself off of the roof and jumped, feeling the wind rush through his hair as he flew towards the streets below. He hit the shadows of the rooftops, and they wrapped around his body, until he slowed. He hit the ground gently and stepped out of the swirling clouds of Darkness, still thinking about what to do next.
He scanned the area around him, and spoke to the Shadows. They told him that nothing was around. Nothing that existed, anyway. The Shadows could only feel the Light and Darkness in a person's heart. They had no eyes. Thus a Nobody was easily able to slip the detection of the Shadows throughout the city.
Maybe that was why the Heartless never preyed upon the wasteful beasts.
( My sincerest apologies. I've been in a muse slump for quite some time...
I hope my post is to your liking.)
A small-framed nobody glanced from side to side, the reflections of the neon signs above gently glowing in his dull lavender eyes, causing them to become luminous. His hair hung loosely over his right eye as it always did, the lights giving it a certain, abnormal shine.
It had not rained today, much to his dismay. The young nobody often enjoyed a bit of precipitation, hold the thunder and lightning. He always thought the rain brought a certain life to The World That Never Was, even if it was false. As far as he knew, this world shouldn't even exist. Any form of plant life was nonexistent, excluding Marluxia's vines and petals that seemed to appear most everywhere. Large skyscrapers touched the endless, monotone sky in most places, and any stars that appeared in that sky were swallowed up by swirling clouds. The only things that gave this world light were the city's neon signs, and Kingdom Hearts.
Suddenly, the small nobody stopped, letting his hood gracefully slide off of his head, revealing the rest of his hair and face. He sniffed the air sharply, taking in the familiar scent of darkness. But something seemed amiss. A stronger, more powerful scent was in the air. It was different than most. Usually, the dark aroma was followed by an essence of light, even if it was faint. This particular aura held no radiance whatsoever. Quickly, the being pulled his hood up and continued his walk, his pace quickening ever so slightly. His breathing accelerated, following the scent around corners. This scent was familiar, yet strange and perplexing.
As he rounded a corner, a startled gasp left his lips. He quickly pulled himself back around the corner and pressed himself up against the wall. There was another being besides himself in these streets, but...the scent he held was pure darkness. He glanced around the corner at the other man. Black hair hung over the same eye as his own, and he was tall and thin. And those eyes, that disinterested, passive expression...His own eyes suddenly brightened with remembrance.
((XD I am sorry. I forgot about this thread. Should have been more responsible))
Ienzo looked to the skies, bored.
"My Neo-shadows... Is there anything to do?" The shadows around him morphed and swam as one of the simpler shadows poked its head out. the bulbous eyes looked him over, and with a small squeak, it jumped from its ethereal perch and fumbled around at his feet. They were an intelligent breed, and Ienzo enjoyed their quiet company.
He let it go its way and it disappeared behind a building. Ienzo basked in the light of the screens and neon lines above...
A small gasp filled the air and Ienzo stopped. He lowered his arms, which had risen to the shadows, and looked around. There should be nothing here. the Shadows claimed that it was....
Nothing. A Nobody.
The Heartless sighed and lowered his hands. Under his breath, he cursed. "Wonder which one it is," he whispered to himself as he examined the area. A gasp meant fear or surprise. One of those strange, artificial emotions they used. Marluxia? He was a definite fighter. Or maybe it was Axel... No, Axel didn't get surprised, from what he remembered. Demyx?
Ienzo chuckled. The little waterboy. He would be long gone.
He walked towards the middle of the square and looked around again. "Hm... Is somebody planning on ambushing me?" He said it aloud. Maybe the non-person would show a little more surprise.
Maybe he would attack. He really didn't know what he wanted or expected.
Ienzo just stood there, his head high, his shadows watching. A second shadow. Just a single connection or movement. He wouldn't miss it a second time.
