In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Flowers, flowers, flowers. Thats pretty much all Marluxia dealt with in his free time in the Castle. A dead, might he add, that goes un-noticed. Why just last week Marluxia finally finished fixing the original garden the Organization had before Marluxia was killed and what does Axel do? He sets fire to it. Sigh. Back to square one....again. Having some Dusks watering and trimming some plants Marluxia set his goal of today to put together his new Weapon. Useing plants and steel Marluxia hopped to take his fighting to a new level. Naturally he would have Vexen help him on this but the Scientist seems to have a certain hatred for Marluxia now. Whatever could have brought on that?
"Now to find the perfect flower" Marluxia said as he waved his hand and a floor panel opened up and arrangement of flowers came slowly up in flower beds. Walking up to them Marluxia carefully examined each one. Death Camisis...no. Moon Lily.....no. Tiger Lily....maybe. Flower bed after flower bed and still no perfect flower. Looking back at the other plants #11 noticed that the Dusks had left. "Great, some slackers" Marluxia said with annoyence in his voice. He needed some coffee. Opening a dark portal Marluxia went to the kitchen.
Nobody to Marluxia's knowledge even drank coffee in this place. The only obbsession he knew about was Larxene's twinkee fetish. How could she even like those cream filled sponges? Anyway, taking out the coffee mix from a pantry Marluxia filled up the coffee machine with water, put the filter in, and put the mix on top and turned it on. Sitting down in a chair Marluxia folded his arms, closed his eyes and waited.
Dull. That was currently the only word Roxas saw fit for describing the world and life he was being forced to live in. Of course any and all synonyms of the word fit just as well. Boring. Uninteresting. Dreary. Yeah, any word which made someone sigh at the thought of it passing their lips fit Roxas' life.
He walked a long hall of the Organization's castle with his hood pulled as far over his face as it would go and his left gloved hand pressed against the wall. He looked pretty miserable and that satisfied him. He hoped that if he ran into anyone they would simply understand how he was feeling just by his look and have no need to speak to him. But wait...no one from the Organization would be able to understand how he was feeling. Only Roxas could actually feel. But his best friend, the fiery red-head, Axel, could, or at least acted as if, he could understand Roxas' every emotion. The blond paused for a moment and longed to find his friend for some comfort. Shaking his head to return to reality, Roxas decided to fill his empty stomach with anything he could find in the kitchen.
A portal of darkness appeared before a large stainless steel refrigerator and within a moment, number XIII stepped out. He opened one of the large doors of the fridge and quickly pulled out a ripe green apple. When he stepped back to observe the room, he caught site of Marluxia, the Organization's personal gardener, and rolled his eyes. Terrific...just the person I wanted to see...
Obviously frustrated just by the other's presence, Roxas took a seat on a stool at the far end of the kitchen and let out a grumpy sigh.
Boreing could also be used to describe Marluxia's life right now. Xemnas has restricted them from even making contact from anyone. No new missions have been established and of course Mars was no were to be found. If Marluxia was to train his apprentice at least Mars should have enough common sense to actually be around. But at least one side could be seen....the coffee was almost ready. Still sitting in the chair, eyes closed, Marluxia began to think about the others in the Organization. The only real news was with Saix and that person he had to hunt down. Demyx has been hiding somewere, Axel was off being Axel, RockHead was as silent as ever, Xigbar....who knows. But Roxas, Marluxia knew he was hateing life in the Organization. Though he could never tell why. The only clue he could see was the way he just walked and avoided them. Fool, he should be glad that Xemnas even brought him back.
BEEP! BEEP!. Ahh finally. Coffee. Pushing the chair back Marluxia got up and took a random cup he found in the pantry (Larxene's) and began to pour some coffee. Now his mind should be eased slightly. Adding all the little do-dads "normal" people add Marluxia sat back down and began to sip his coffee. But naturally his moment of peace had to be shattered. A portal opened up in front of the refrigerator and out walked the shortest of all the Nobodies. Roxas. Great. And by judgeing on the way he was acting Roxas seemed rather urked about "life". Might as well strike up some conversation.
Watching XIII walk to the other side of the table Marluxia slightly grinned. It seemed Roxas wanted to avoid people even in the same room as him. Takig another sip of the coffee Marluxia put the cup down and asked his fellow Nobody. "You seemed...distracted. Not going though another fake depression are you Roxas?". Yeah, Marluxia can be a real ass sometimes, even to his "Friends".
You seemed...distracted. Not going though another fake depression are you Roxas?
Roxas sat perfectly still on his stool at the sound of Marluxia's voice ringing throughout the large kitchen. He placed his right hand on the counter before him and drummed his fingers lightly against it. His hood was still pulled over his face and Roxas had no intention on moving it so Marluxia could get any entertainment out of his facial expressions.
The only word's from the gardener's statement that bothered number XIII were "fake depression". Roxas was not faking depression, he actually was feeling one. But how could Marluxia understand? He could only pretend to feel depression as he probably believed Roxas was doing right now.
Being in the Organization bothered Roxas. And memory loss bothered Roxas. He had no idea what he was doing there or where he had come from. Xemnas told him long ago that he had been found in Twilight Town and rescued. But Twilight Town seemed so...peaceful. Why would anyone want to be rescued from there? He couldn't remember that town at all...the only thing he remembered was being introduced to the members of the Organization. But it was a strange introduction because it seemed they all knew him already, even though he thought he had never seen any of them before.
The other obstacle in Roxas' life was the Keyblade. He had so many questions about it and why it chose him. But he was only ever able to confide in Axel about the Keyblade.
Straightening up a bit he decided he would reply to Marluxia's comment. "Today is like any other day," he replied coolly.
Heh. Marluxia could tell he struck a nerve with Roxas. His clue was how Roxas drummed his fingers on the table. Marluxia only spoke the truth. Nobodies could not feel any emotions. No matter who thier other half was. But Roxas had returned to Sora and was taken back out again. So maybe some part of Sora was left in Roxas. Who knew? But any emotion that Roxas was feeling had to be fake.
Taking another sip of coffee Marluxia smiled and XIII's words. Any other day? Any day in this place was never the same. With wild was like Axel and Xigbar. Axel....Roxas's only link to the past. Why XIII bonded with Axel so much was confusing on itself. Though it seemed that Roxas was spending even more time with VIII. Axel had better not let it slip about Roxas's amnesia. But while Marluxia was thinking about, why not poke around abit in XIII's mind.
Putting his coffee down Marluxia asked, "Tell me Roxas. Do you remember anything before Twilight Town? Anything at all?". Maybe Marluxia might get some insight to this "depression".
(Forcing Xemnas to be more active. Forgive the clunkiness.)
It had started simply. Hours, turning into days, turning into weeks... Pouring himself over the current events of the Worlds, over plans and terms of things-- Xemnas, the Superior, spent much of his time, tirelessly, endlessly, eking out every little detail to every little plan... There had been quite a few dead ends. Quite a few problems. And there had been no sight of him for some time now...
Was that not to be expected? One did not gain power simply by allowing such... inconveniences to slowly worm their way into things. The pale, cold glow of Kingdom Hearts was no longer hanging so, so beautifully over the World That Never Was. No longer able to shed it's pain down across the scarred, cracked, empty land of the spanning city below. Or upon the silent threat of the Dark XII within his, yes, his World. Xemnas did not take kindly to poor, confused Heartless up and rising across his terrain, attempting to usurp his power. However... that did bring into question... How did they find their way here. There must be a connection. There always was a connection. And while no plan, yet, had come to fruition, the cogs had slowly begun to turn until they churned something of a theory out. Many, many tireless, endless days spent up atop in his tower, slow, ever so slowly, working it through...
There was a connection. As time had wore on, and the Dark XII's activity ceased... Yes. It was time.
Kingdom Hearts was not so easily a prospect gained from the ways of things. Small measures needed to be taken. Small manners that would send things snowballing... Xemnas did not appreciate when he, himself, had such blockage. And that was what this had been. Blockage. Obsession. Toiling over all the aspects of their existence-- he had long since cast away that shell, that thing that had held him back in favor of the Heart's truth. The nothingness brought about from it's anger. It's rage. It's torment. There was much of that within the worlds. It was growing. Their tentative peace was halting, and there would be nothing they could do.
...ah. Still the matter of the keyblade weilders.
No. Revised. There was no matter. Only time. They grew stronger, perhaps. Ansem. What a fool...
And yet he himself realized he had been all the more foolish.
But unlike some Organization members, he remembered that there were doors within this place made for such things as entering rooms. And truth be told, it had been some time since Xemnas had stretched his legs. The physical body had a level of upkeep, of things that needed doing. Not as much as most normal other beings, regardless, but still. The "kitchen" of the castle was not a place he so expected, upon entering, to find anyone. Usually, there was no one, and he preferred it as such. It was not a set back.
Changes were to happen.
And Xemnas was one to take his time falling back into the presence of the others. For a short while, he understood it was as if he did not exist. Not an excuse. A fact. They were bored. Restless. That would be fixed soon. The Superior cast a rather... bored glance about the kitchen, going about the usual of fetching himself what the physical needed in order to be maintained. Which would consist of whatever food was there and water. He was not fond of much else, given his lack of preference to anything, really. He had caught the last snippet of that conversation, and Marluxia was, for one, a particular Nobody he was suspicious of. With good reason. And Roxas? He did not need such of one interacting with him alone. Roxas' memory loss was a gain rather than a loss, and one should not upset such a balance.
"Marluxia," he stated, more than acknowledged, giving him nothing but a fleeting glance. "Roxas."
If they thought this odd, so be it. But it would keep Marluxia in check. For now. XI was... crafty, to say the least of such a Nobody.
"Tell me Roxas. Do you remember anything before Twilight Town? Anything at all?"
Roxas had no urge to get into an engaged conversation with anyone, especially Marluxia, but he figured he might as well amuse number VI since boredom was waiting from him everywhere else he could escape to. It seemed as if the pink-haired Nobody knew something. Something he currently felt like teasing Roxas with and number XIII was determined to discover what that something was.
"Twilight Town? There was nothing before Twilight Town. Only there then here." His words were the truth, mostly anyway. The only things he knew about the town were what he discovered when he visited there with Axel. The fiery Nobody took him there often and they usually spent hours following a small group of teenagers. This always confused Roxas, but he never asked Axel exactly why they were doing such a thing. It was a pass time Axel enjoyed, so Roxas never felt the need to question it.
And now Roxas was confused again. Why did Marluxia sound as if Roxas had been to Twilight Town before the Organization? He only ever knew the Organization... Maybe Axel's frequent visits and the information Marluxia seemed to posses would answer some questions.
(meh. Im muse drained right now. School can have this affect)
Xemnas??? Marluxia hasn't seen the Superior in quite some time. As always, when Marluxia is planning something Xemnas or someone just HAPPENS to appear. Karma can be a real bitch when it wants too. Noticing how the Superior said XI name, Marluxia backed off the subject of Roxas's memories. Putting his coffee down Marluxia simply replied, "Well Xemnas, it's not very often the Organization sees you now-a-days. Have you thought of are new plan of action?". While saying this Marluxia alos got up to re-fill his coffee cup.
(So sorry for short post. Just cant think of anything)
Hm. Yes. Karma. Karma could possibly be the only one to blame for such things. Or perhaps it was simply the fact that Xemnas learned from mistakes. He did not trust Marluxia as far as he could through him, if there was ever such a need to do so. And even then, he hardly put trust in anyone. Marluxia would not so easily change.
But the Superior carefully considered the question as he went about his business, an almost smile appearing as he glanced the pink-haired Nobody over. Smart. A quick recovery. Yes, he had plans. He had plans indeed.
"XI, you of all people should know how... busy things can get." It was just a matter of sorting out priorities, really. "Have you so little faith?"
Xemnas did not expect much from Roxas. Simply that he do his job. And that part would come through eventually. He would have to be patient with this. How Roxas had separated from Sora once more was something he had yet to decode, as well as the reappearances of them all. They could not go about things the same way. It would take some maneuvering. Regardless, he did not spare the blond a glance.
Roxas sat quietly as his Superior spoke calmly to the pink haired Nobody. He frowned, a bit frustrated that Xemnas had probably stopped Marluxia from revealing any secret information to him. But maybe once he left, Roxas could ask again. He looked down at the counter and pretended to not be there.
((Erm... that's a question that should actually be posted here and not here in this thread as this thread is an actual Role Play that's going on, and not a Question/Suggestion thread.))
Humph. Faith. Xemnas should know that faith is hard to come by in this war. But faith is the only thing that some of the Organization members seemed to have left. But might as well amuse him while Marluxia has the time.
"Faith? It's really a matter of trust. Wouldn't you agree Roxas?". A bold move yes. But Roxas should know the truth if he is to fight at his best in the war. Marluxia continued, "It would seem that everyone here has trust issues with one another. You of all people have surely caught on to this by now Xemnas".
