In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

As soon as the two Heartless were gone, Simba imediately turned all of his attention towards Kiara. His brows were furrowed, an obvious sign that he was unpleased with finding her out here instead of closer to Pride Rock. She knew that it was more dangerous out here now that it wasn't only hyenas that roamed the Pride Lands now.
"Daddy I-"
"You deliberately disobeyed me!" Simba cut her off, "you went off away from Pride Rock and you could have nearly gotten yourself hurt really badly, or worse! Do you know what you're dealing with out here? These Heartless, these... these things?!" Simba took in a deep breath to keep himself from ranting on about those creatures, and then turned his gaze upon the two two faces that accompanied his daughter.
"And you brought these new faces among the Pride Lands... Kiara..." Simba took in another deep breath. If he were to show how unhappy he was with her, he was most likely going to regret it like last time. Though... this time was different... he knew about the Heartless and what they could do... he didn't want that happening to his daughter.... Simba didn't know what he would possibly do if Kiara's heart were to get stolen by the Heartless and then turn her into one of them.
Woah, now the lion king was angry. It seemed that Kiara didn't had permission to go away from the "Pride Rock", or whatever that was. Mikael supposed that it was the place where the lions lived. But he had as guilty as the Princess in that matter. After all, the teen's Gummi Ship's landing had let her know that someone *was* there. But the lion appearantly didn't expected him or Ela.
"I am sorry, it was my fault. My Gummi Ship had landed here, it must have alerted your daughter. She was also helping me look for a friend of mine until these dark beasts showed up. Oh, but where are my manners, I am Mikael Darrow." He did not know if it was the right time for formalities, but his name would be asked sooner or later.
(OOC: Can I join in? The title still had the word "open" so I figured I could throw in my character. If ya don't like it, I'll get rid of myself)
All this action was going ablaze on this endless sea of plants and animals. This world was truly the embodiment for 'survival of the fittest'. Thrill of the fight. Unfortunatley, Toons was not fit in any real way. Perhaps this new form though, can help out greatly ..... He was once a normal Black Mage, and now he's been transformed into the shape of a .... bird. A rather small bird. Toons looked around his new avian body. His blueish robe has now been altered into his entire body of blue feathers, His eerie hat was nowhere available, his arms were changed to raggy blue wings, and his stumpy legs were now thin orange bird legs. What's worse, his small body shrunk down to atleast two feet tall. All that he kept the same was his round, pitch black head and yellow eyes. Now with the addition of a small orange beak.
"Well this is cool." Toons said about his appearance. He then turned his attention towards the fight for life that had ensued. The Heartless species vs the Feline team. "That was certainly a thrill!" Toons sarcastically cracked about the battle. He'd rather observe someone's heart stolen though. Especially a heart from a species he's never studied before. These lions, to be more exact. Too bad, that big lion (Simba) had to save the group.
Toons watched as the young female lioness (Kiara) was catching the typical 'parent's disappointment' speech from the much older male lion (Simba) .... Toons had a wonderful idea, involving the entire group, excluding Simba. The black mage bird took to the skies and circled the group from about 20 ft in the air. Who would pay attention to a bird such as himself? For now, the most he should do is listen on .....

Ela looked over to the big, yelling lion. Good thing no one here could tell he was a heartless. Anyway, he walked between the two and growled. "We don't have time for this here..." he looked to the east, and sniffed the air, and looked the big lion (simba) in the eyes. "More are on the way." He said grimly. And two miles away, at Ela's growl, sprang up ten more Living Bones. "A lot more."
((OOC: sorry, not thinking))

"It wasn't like you ever told me much about them. I'm not a cub you can keep in the dark anymore. Regardless, secrets may be dug deep in the earth, but it will only be soon before it surfaces." She have truly been around the shaman bamboon Rafiki long enough to use metaphors against him. Golden ears were no long flat in shame, but with dissappointment with a tinge of anger. Replicated red eyes stared back at her father as her pink nose snorted. "And I only brought one new face here father, but that one-"
She turned her head towards Ela, but stopped once he spoke. Kiara growled at his interjection, while getting a whiff of his stench. Without time to bridge a connection at the familiarlity, her ears twitched to listen to see if what he said was true.
"It wasn't like you ever told me much about them. I'm not a cub you can keep in the dark anymore. Regardless, secrets may be dug deep in the earth, but it will only be soon before it surfaces."
"I never said you were!" Simba growled, "I just don't want anything to happen to you, Kiara! Don't you get that?" Furrowing his brow a little more, the Lion King frowned more in disappointment more than anything else. Didn't she understand? She was his only daughter, "if anything were to happen to you, Kiara... I don't know what I would do."
"And I only brought one new face here father, but that one-"
Simba's amber gaze turned and rested on the other two new faces that were among them. Odd colors for the creatures that they took the form of. Must not have been from this world originally... like Sora.
"I am sorry, it was my fault. My Gummi Ship had landed here, it must have alerted your daughter. She was also helping me look for a friend of mine until these dark beasts showed up. Oh, but where are my manners, I am Mikael Darrow."
Straightening up his stance a bit, Simba exhaled and replied, "my name is Simba... King of the Pride Lands..." Normally Simba wasn't one to state what his role or position was in the whole scheme of things, however... now that it was pertaining more than just him, it seemed to be necessary. He looked over to the other character that was standing before them and furrowed his brow a bit. That one wasn't the one that Kiara had intentionally brought along, eh?
Simba didn't blame her. Ela seemed to be a little suspicious with the way that he was acting. However... the warning that he issued to the group made Simba's suspicion fade a little. Just a little. After all... it could a ploy... Simba was all too familiar with that.

Toons circled around the group of monstrous felines, swooping down closer and closer. He realized to keep his distance from them. These animals had large claws, teeth, and seemed very much tough enough to fend off against opposing heartless. Lions ..... Toons has never studied much at all about lions. In fact, no animal on the savvanah was quite familiar to him. He's studied Chocobos, Moogles, Fiends, Heartless, but never a lion, elephant, or wildebeest. Perhaps now's a time for scientific research.
Let's see ..... they seemed like big cats. Very LARGE cats. They were quite ferocious, seem very sleek yet bulky. Judging by their group, Toons must hypothesize that Lions have a pack mentality. He must look into more info, Starting with the heart of a lion. "Hoohoohoohoo! Lions get their hearts snatched!" Toons quietly snickered to himself.
He looked over to the distance, atleast a small army of dinosaurian heartless had appeared. All of them, fierce storms of powerful crushing jaws. Toons blinked his bright yellow eyes as he slowly opened his orange beak. "SCREEEEEEEE!!, the little black mage bird forced out a scream. "SCREEE! SCREEEEE!!!" His scream shot through the air and his pitch black head nearly expanded. Toons is getting the attention of these large heartless, they can charge in and slaughter the lions. At last, he will finally see the heart of an animal stolen, all for science, info that can save other lives ...... Toons was now violently flapping his wings as he continued calling the heartless.

Ela huffed, sending a bit of flames out from his snout. "We have to move. he growled, then...
SCREEEEEEEE!!, SCREEE! SCREEEEE!!!
He looked up, then to the plains. Wow, the heartless had gotten there faster than he'd anticapated. He looked back to the three lions. "Look, we've got to go! The heartless will kill us all if we don't!" he said, and just to be safe, blinked again, summoning three more living bones just behind the dust cloud the current rushing heartless had made.

Kiara's red orbs narrrowed at the source of the loud noise than joined and quickened the Living Bones' charges. Her fangs grinned and air puffed out of her nose wishing to tear the little thing into shreads, but the odd speckled cheetah's yell had snapped her out of it redirecting her attention. Her ears flattened unsure of the predicament. If her father didn't want her here before, then now wouldn't be a difference nor did she wished to endanger her family.
"Mikael we should go." The lioness replied lowly to make an silent exit towards home within the safety of the pride.
It seemed that Mikael's statement had finally stopped father and daughter from fighting. The big lion looked at him, responding with manners as well.
"My name is Simba... King of the Pride Lands..."
Mikael had been right, he was the king of that animal world. But before the black maned lion could think, he heard to different voices: Ela's and a bird-like one.
"We don't have time for this here... More are on the way. A lot more." "SCREEEEEEEE!!, SCREEE! SCREEEEE!!!" "Look, we've got to go! The heartless will kill us all if we don't!"
More Heartless appeared: Living Bones to be specific. Mikael looked up; his grayish blue eyes locked on the blue bird, wanting to launch a fireball towards him. But the Living Bones started to move towards them, and more of them started to arrive. The young lion stared at the ring at the chain that resided at his neck before hearing the lioness speak to him.
"Mikael we should go."
He raised his head; Mikael had run away from them many times, but he needed to make a difference. He looked at the ring again and looked at Kiara and Ela. "Go, I will hold them off. I might be weaponless... but I have magic to aid me. Hurry and escape!" He touched the ring with his paw, and a bright light came from the ring. The Heartless were stunned by the light and, a few seconds later, Mikael was a lion no more. The Ring of Transformation could be seen at his right index finger as he closed his eyes before bright orange flames surrounded him (Circle of Blazing Flames). "Cursed creatures of darkness... be ready to vanish and die!"
[Oh my gosh, I am so so so sorry for being so late! D:]
"We have to move."[/i]
The king furrowed his brow at this... oddly colored lion that stood there. His stench was something that he didn't trust... still. However, growing up with Timon and Pumbaa, Simba was a little used to horrid smells thanks to the warthog.
Simba's ears flicked and he turned his head up as he heard the squalling of a bird high over head. He narrowed his eyes and his ears picked up yet another sound- the sound of multiple feet thundering against the ground. A stampede... but of what?
Turning his head towards the noise, and where the tremblings in the ground was starting to come from, Simba saw them. Not just one or two of them- a whole herd of them charging towards them, kicking up dust in the process and creating somewhat of a veil.
"Look, we've got to go! The heartless will kill us all if we don't!"[/color]
"Kiara, take your friends and get out of here!" Simba commanded, tensing and darting forwards into the oncoming stampede. If they were to go to Pride Rock, his pride and family would be threatened, and the King wasn't going to have that. He had claws and picked up abilities that he had learned over the course of time that he was going to use against the Heartless that decided to trespass upon his lands.
He didn't hear what it was that Mikael had said to Kiara, and didn't know that he, too, was going to fight the Heartless along with him. Leaping onto one of the Living Bones, Simba roared loudly, preforming one of his well-known attacks; the Proud Roar. It was initiated because of what this land meant to him... what it meant to others... and he wasn't going to let anyone or anything come to harm it.
Simba may not have- or ever will be- as good a king as his father, Mufasa, but he was going to do his best to protect what he loved and cared for as well as the land that he ruled over.
