In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Lyrah sat on the wooden fence with her face to the shinning sun. Her hazel eyes were closed and she took in a deep breath of salty sea air as the breeze blew gently through her silky brown strands of hair. Her hands gripped the wooden beam which she rested on and her ankles were crossed for balance.
Today was a beautiful day. So beautiful that Lyrah could not think of anything else to do but enjoy it peacefully at the top of the hill at Sunset Terrace. There was absolutely nothing on her mind at the moment. Nothing, of course, except her vivid imagination of distant lands and other worlds with even more breath-taking days. She longed to get away from this town and its predictable life style. She wished life would throw some curve balls or surprises her way, but she could only dream.

Fearon appeared in a bright light, transported from his gummi ship now hovering somewhere over the world, to see a young girl setting on a fence, not five feet in front of him. He jumped back, surprised. "Ah, I'm sorry." he apologized, hoping the girl wouldn't lose her balance. He was really starting to get sick of that teleporter of his. Well, at least it wasn't dropping him from twelve feet in the air anymore. He looked around, in an attempt to get his bearings. Yeah, Sunset Terrace. Just where he hoped he would land. He had unwind, so he looked back to the girl. "Once again, very sorry." he said, and gave a slight bow. Then turned and walked up the hill, wanting to watch the sun's lights glittering on the ocean, as the waves rose and fell to the wind that pushed them. He loved the beach.

The sudden flash of light startled Lyrah and she fell from the fence to the ground with a small yell. She landed on her back but was more shocked than hurt and was very curious as to why the light had appeared. She tried to look behind her to see the arrival by tilting her head back as far as she could. She soon heard an apology for the startle and shrugged her shoulders. "It's okay. I coulda fell the other way and that probably wouldn't've been too good..." She laughed a little and stood up, brushing the dirt from her pants.
Lyrah watched the boy walk up the hill and decided to follow. Maybe life finally decided to throw that curve ball. She kept his pace and decided to introduce herself. "I'm Lyrah. Where'd you come from?"

Fearon spun around walking backward, continueing up the hill. "Fearon Aris." he introduced himself, and pointed up. "I came from my gummi ship, it's somewhere up there now, floating around. I don't know." he said, turning around, just in time to step out of a mans way. He followed the curve of the trail as he reached the top of the hill. He continued to walk to the fence and both hands on the fence, he jumped over it, landing on the other side. He sat against, a fence pole, and looked down at the beach. He turned to Lyrah. "Coming?" he asked.
An interesting name...Lyrah thought, but she was happy to have a new face around. She watched Fearon jump the fence at the top of the hill and, with nothing else to do, she decided to join him. With a swift jump, she landed on the other side of the fence and sat down beside him.
"So what brings you to Twilight Town? It's not exactly the most exciting place ever."

Fearon laughed. "Look, fighting heartless everyday, and fighting for survial takes a lot out of a person. Everyone needs to relax a bit." he said looking at the girl. He then turned his head out to the sea. He watched as the waves rippled, smoothed, and rippled agian. As the sun glittered on the surface. "Plus, beauty like this." he said wating his hand to the sea. "You can't just ignore. I mean sure, the other worlds are beautiful, some spots even more so than this one. But, this place... I love it." he said, and took a breath, the scent of the sea salt filling his lungs. "I've found, sometimes excitment is highly over-rated." he said. "Everyone needs to take a break and relax once and a while."
"Wow you've been to other worlds? That's awesome!" Lyrah let her body slide down until she was laying flat on the grass and she put her hands behind her head. She let out a relaxing sigh and looked up into the clouds. I've always wanted to visit other worlds. I've been relaxing my entire life. It would be nice to stop for awhile."

Fearon leaned back, and sighed. He looked out to the sea, thinking. Well, I guess I could take her somewhere, but how would that affect the people here? Would they be sad. Does she have any personall ties with anyone here? he swallowed and looked to Lyrah. "Have you ever heard of the heartless?" he asked. Okay then, if he was going to introduce her to new worlds, then he might as well do it right... right? He looked out to the sea, awaiting her answer.
Lyrah closed her eyes and pictured the tiny Shadow Heartless she had seen in Twilight Town before. "I've seen some before, but they weren't much trouble." Twilight Town hadn't seen many Heartless before and when some entered the world they were quickly disposed of by people who were passing by from other worlds. Lyrah even had the fun of fighting a few herself with her friends. The little Shadows were no match for their baseball bats and perfectly aimed baseballs.
She opened her eyes and turned her head to look at Fearon. "What about them?" She knew he was trying to get at something but she couldn't figure out what.

Fearon looked out to the waves, the wind blowing his bangs into his eyes. "They're called heartless for a reason you know." he said, his deep brown eyes hidden behind his long brown bangs. "If they get the chance they'll take your heart. And you'll sink into darkness. Become one of them. You say you want to travel to other worlds. See other things. Well with full knowledge of the heartless, and darkness, I'm giving you the chance. Will you risk you heart to see your 'other things'?" he asked, sweeping his hair out of his eyes and looking back to her.
Lyrah's eyes grew bright with the excitement of going to another world. Would Fearon really be willing to take her? But her expression quickly clouded when she thought about the Heartless and risking her own heart. Would she be willing to take such a risk? Was she ready to defend herself in life threatening situations in other worlds?
"You would really take me to see other places?" She sat up and turned toward him. "I'm willing to take the risk. And besides, you'd help look after me, wouldn't you? Not that Id need much looking after." She smiled, exciting rising in her chest. She knew she wouldn't be in the way or cause too much trouble.

Fearon sighed, somewhat dreading what he was about to do. He reached into his jacket pocket and took out a little black box, that sorta looked like a remote contol. "You remember when I appeared down there?" he asked, looking down to the box. "Well, that was my gummi ship teleporting me from there..." he pointed up. "...down to here. Now, this, is like a targeting system. I press this button, and the gummi ship locks on to it, and transports me up." he finished, he laid the box on the ground and turned to her. "Once the heartless see you, they'll stop at nothing to get your heart. You must defend yourself to your best capabilities. I can't be around all the time to help look after you." he said. "Are you sure?" It was weird... he'd hadn't known this girl for ten minutes. And she was already going up on his gummi ship. Wow, how was that, was it Fearon's need to make everyone live thier life's to the fullest, or what? He didn't know, but he didn't really care either. He looked to her, awaiting the answer.

Lyrah looked at Fearon with a determined glow in her eyes. "I've been waiting for this my whole life, I'm pretty sure I can handle it." She stood up and looked at the sea once again. She knew she'd eventually miss Twilight Town, but maybe she'd find another place to call home. So when do we leave?"
Fearon stood and sighed. He beat off his jacket, and grass and other various materails fell to the ground. "Right now if you like." he said. Then he noticed something. "You say you can handle it, but you have no weapon." he said, a question more than a statement. "You, do have a blade or something, don't you?" he asked.
"I have a sword," Lyrah replied as she unsheathed a long flexible sword from its case that was slung over her shoulder. "I'm not too good at it yet, but I'm learning pretty fast." She put the sword back and turned to face Fearon. I promise I won't be much trouble."
